The food here is amazing. Ordered tons including the local specialty dishes and I can’t sing enough praises for the butter chicken though. Not sure what it is but it exudes warmth and depth in its flavor. One of the most outstanding butter chicken I’ve ever had.

Food quality was top class. The seating area might seem a little congested. The service at times was slow due to the crowd but the food quality and quantity covered that up. They have a special, complementary drink towards the end, 'paan shot' which was too smooth for the taste buds and was the best.

Had a delightful experience ordering from here. The packaging is top-notch and the flavour is scrumptious that leaves your taste buds dancing with delight. Highly recommended

Average experience when we last visited here, ambience is no doubt of top notch. But waiters were not that attentive. This may be by chance as well, because this place is very popular and footfall was increasing when we were leaving. One thing I want to highlight is they have valet parking but availability of valet is a concern and it may take 5-10 mints.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at "Pinch of Spice," an Indian restaurant that left an unforgettable impression on my taste buds. From the moment I entered, I was welcomed by the inviting ambience and a tantalizing aroma that hinted at the culinary feast awaiting me. Pinch of Spice is a culinary haven that flawlessly combines traditional Indian flavors with a modern twist. The diverse menu offers a delightful array of dishes, including lamb, chicken biryani, pasta, and mango lassi. Each dish I sampled surpassed my expectations and left me craving for more. Let's begin with the lamb. The tender and succulent lamb curry at Pinch of Spice is a true delight. The meat was cooked to perfection, infused with a harmonious blend of aromatic spices that danced on my palate. Every bite was a burst of flavors, and the skilled preparation of the lamb showcased the expertise of the chefs. Moving on to the chicken biryani, a signature dish in Indian cuisine. Pinch of Spice excels in creating a biryani that is nothing short of extraordinary. Fragrant basmati rice cooked to perfection, layered with succulent pieces of chicken and a medley of spices, created a symphony of flavors. The biryani was fragrant, flavorful, and left me longing for more. To my surprise, Pinch of Spice also offers pasta dishes that seamlessly blend Italian and Indian flavors. The Indian-inspired pasta I tried was a true revelation. The pasta was cooked al dente and coated in a luscious sauce infused with aromatic Indian spices. The combination of two culinary traditions resulted in a unique and delightful dish that was both comforting and adventurous. No Indian meal is complete without a refreshing beverage, and Pinch of Spice delivers on this front as well. Their mango lassi is a true delight. The creamy yogurt blended with ripe mangoes created a harmonious balance of sweetness and tanginess. Served chilled, it was the perfect accompaniment to the bold and flavorful dishes. The attentive and friendly staff at Pinch of Spice enhanced the overall dining experience. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations to ensure a memorable meal. The service was prompt, and the staff's passion for the cuisine was evident in their attention to detail. In conclusion, Pinch of Spice is a culinary gem that promises an exceptional dining experience. The beautifully prepared dishes, from the flavorful lamb and aromatic chicken biryani to the surprising fusion of Indian-inspired pasta and refreshing mango lassi, showcase the culinary prowess of the chefs. The inviting ambiance and attentive service make dining at Pinch of Spice a truly memorable affair. I highly recommend Pinch of Spice to all food enthusiasts seeking a remarkable blend of traditional Indian flavors with a modern twist. Prepare to be delighted by their culinary creations and savor an unforgettable dining experience.

Tasty food in trendy setting, great food price and service…we went here over the hotel restaurant

I went here for dinner and then for lunch the day after just because I enjoyed it so much. Well made food and great service. Everything I tried was delicious 🙌🏻

Fantastic food, portions, service- everything! We went to the famous Moti Mahal restaurant in Delhi prior to here, and the butter chicken here blew them away by a factor of 10! Large delicious chicken breast chunks in a generous portion of sauce, with the full size boneless butter chicken. The full size comes with 2 of the dishes in the picture, each with delicious chicken.

Delicious food and great service. Everyone is very nice and happy to help. We had the atishi aloo (a stuffed potato dish) as starter and khumbh makai palak (mushrooms corn spniach curry) as main course. Everything was delicious. The main course was very spicy; if you're not accustomed to the spice, also order some curd or request it mild. For desert we had the gulab jamun, which was very tasty and saffrony. Much better and softer than others we had in different places. Would recommend for a nice dinner.

For many years, this restaurant has consistently provided delightful meals and a welcoming atmosphere. The food is expertly prepared and flavorful, while the ambiance is warm and inviting. Though occasional busy periods occur, the overall experience remains outstanding. This restaurant has become a cherished space for creating lasting memories with family, a true testament to its quality and enduring appeal.

Visited Pinch of Spice twice during our stay in Agra. 5/5 for the food. Both times whatever we had ordered was top class. During rush hour the service isn't the best as they first got us the main course, then drinks, lastly starters. Didn't complain much as the quantity and quality of food was great. During our second visit when the rush was less the service was great too. Must try for any non vegetarian.
Ankit Wadhera
Ambience of this restaurant was amazing. But quantity was too much for 2 people. We ordered Malai paneer as a starter it was but sweet and sour for our taste and felt as if it had mayonnaise instead of Cream. Main course was good we order paneer makhani and Dal makhani but quantity was too much.

Nice food but the service was not to the par. I hope in future, the service gets better! Overall nice ambience.

Very nice food and huge portions. But very pricey compared to other restaurants. Even for soft drinks it was expensive.

My experience to this place was quite gud, service was excellent. The order comes to you within minutes. And the taste was authentic, delicious and yum. Kadai paneer and butter naan are my favorite in here. Its totally worth dine in or get it delivered to your place. 👍

Pathetic packing, box was not packed properly, vegetable was spilled outside the box
Dhanishtha Khullar
This restaurant is my all time favourite. Have been coming here for years and good place for family celebrations.

One of the worst service for a restaurant of this caliber, can be infinitely quicker and waiters messed up the orders and are not listening or just standing around. Recommend you try other restaurants in the vicinity not worth your visit.
Sajal Gupta
Tried Mushroom starter and it was wonderful. Well prepared and tasted amazing. Soup was okay and Paneer Lababdar main course was tasty.
Overall a great place, may be the place needs to be more spacious.

This place does not need any introduction. If one is in Agra then one should try this restaurant at least once. Food is very tasty here and the size of portion is also sufficient. Price range is medium. So it does not burn a hole in your pocket.
The only downside of this restaurant is as it is very popular among foreigners so usually you have to wait for 10-15 minutes for a table. And for obvious reasons, this place is crowded.
Everything else from food to service and milieu is nice.
Akshit Gandhi
Very bad taste and service... And the staff is also not so cooperative...

Bit expensive otherwise great place to have good food. We ordered veg dimsum, chicken salt n pepper, murg handi Biriyani and veg fried rice and manchurian. Everything was good and tasty. Will recommend the restaurant to everybody who visit Taj Mahal.

With India’s latest test match playing in the background, the atmosphere was pulsating! The staff was also pretty attentive. However coming to the food, it was average and didn’t live up to the rating. The mutton recommended by the steward was sweet and the meat wasn’t even properly cooke. The best item for me was the gulkand mouth freshner!

Perfect place to order Chinese cuisine.. Few days back I was in agra at my friend place and find pinch of spice nearby so we ordered drums of heaven and chicken fried rice overall good experience...

Drums of heaven 5/5
Chicken fried rice 4/5
Gonna order again soon...next visit

I went there for my birthday dinner. And they took forever to serve. We requested for onions and a bowl for dal that came literarily after 20 minutes. Average food, I wonder who gave 5* to this restaurant?!
Jerin.john2406
I’ve been to pinch of spice a couple of times and have always been amazed by their delicious food. I’ve tried Mughlai and Indo-Chinese here and it’s absolutely delicious. A must visit place if you’re in Agra
Avik Hazra
The ambience was mind blogging. Ordered chicken afghani mixed veg firni and a mocktail. Firni was awesome. Other items were also good. But the price is too high and service is also an issue. They are more focused with the foreigners. At the end a free of cost mouth freshner drink is served. And it was yummy.

Food is delicious especially Kadai Chicken 🍗
Pan drink served in the end was yummmm 😍 (i had 2 😜)

While the ambience was amazing, staff just didn't listen to us at all. Despite being very close to our table, they pretended to ignore us.

Food quality was also subpar to be honest, something I don't expect from this brand. Manchurian tasted really bad, probably because they weren't fresh.

Dal bhukhara was bad. It felt like it was made atleast two days ago. Mix veg gave us a little relief though and we finished our dinner.

They really need to do something about the service. Extremely lazy.
Kuwar Puru Anil Singh
I ordered mutton korma and the gravy was right out from butter chicken. Its a very unprofessional behaviour because its such a reputed place and i have had very bad experience earlier from this place which is very frustrating.
We were so happy to see Pinch of Spice right across our hotel, had food from here on our last trip as well. But staying opposite to it was so convenient, we even walked to the restaurant once.
The staff was very courteous, we were late for our visit to Taj at night and service was excellent after we informed them about ii.
Our order was
Butter Chicken Boneless
Chicken Biryani
Kadahi Chicken
This was our order for 2 separate days, had dinner for both the days here only. Their portion size is good enough
Loved the salan that came with biryani, we both enjoyed both the dinners.
Himanshi Bhoj
The staff was highly courteous ,they had great food and various variety, delicious food and beautiful decor A good place to visit with your family and friends. Loved this place.

Poor packing....they are open from 10 years and they don't know how to pack stuff....Out of 4 packets ...3 opened....dal spilled.... Biryani came without curd.. overall unprofessional packing

The old one and the best one in town. Looking for authentic fine dining? This place is just for you. Once you are here, you will always come back here. Such is the food quality and ambience of this place. They also serve alcohol. So you can enjoy both the things at one place.

Excellent food. The Lawabdar paneer was brilliant. And the Breads were crispy.
There was a little bit of paper in sizzling brownie. But the staff was kind enough to replace the dish although we were halfway through it. And also we didn't get it changed. The politeness of the staff was enough.
Overall it was a brilliant experience

After visiting Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, this is place should definitely be the next stop. It’s just 15 minutes away from Agra Fort and provides the best in class ambience. The staff is kind and professional, they recommend variety of food. One thing that discourages you to go there is the choice of alcohol. Yes, they only have Tuborg Extra Strong beers.

Very well maintained food quality and Taste is better than its own chain in Sanjay Palace. Seating space is good and also the service is up to the mark. And one of my fav restaurants.

We were on a trip to agra for sightseeing.
After which we decided to visit this restaurant and we ordered buffet in lunch.
There were variety of dishes in main course but there were ni starters.
Some highlights were dal bukhara, paneer lababdar, saute veggies and pineapple raita.

went to agra and we were looking forward to eating at pinch of spice, the hospitality was ok but the food was not good, ordered biryani and the biryani had some stones

They server pretty good portion in food. We ordered veg salt and pepper, mushroom duplex and french fries. Mushroom duplex was below average rest all the items were excellent in taste

When in Agra have a pinch of spice. A place that serves Ala Carte and buffet. The buffer spread was in abundance and all tasty from prawns to paneer it had it all. In deserts from Gulaab jamun to kheer name it and it was there. A scrumptious delicious meal which stays with u 😁😁
Jabez Philip
Well when your in Agra and looking for a good place to eat this remains only the option you have. Both alacarte and buffet are amazing in taste and the courteous staff with Vidya vox playing in the background makes you enjoy it more. The alacarte meal has better taste while the buffet gives you loads of variety. Their special mouth freshener drink is a golden lining on the scrumptious meal.

We visited this restaurant after touring around the city and our decision was based on our friend’s reference as well as the zomato ratings. Decent ambience, prompt service, tasty food..what else do you wish for? Breads / parathas were soft, butter chicken, dal makhani, paneer lababdar were finger licking good. One of the most interesting thing was the pan shot that they gave us at the end of our meal and it was indeed very refreshing! So if you’re heading towards Agra and getting the hunger pangs then you know where you should be going to. 👍🏼

I hate to do this but, the food and the hospitality was very good but in middle of my dinner , I experienced a cockroach in between my food crawling on the table. This has been always my pit stop must visit restaurant on my every trip to Agra. But I guess it disappointed me this time with such unhygenic conditions
Harpreet
Good food but extremely slow service with few tables only occupied! Waiting time for sizzling brownie with ice cream 20+ minutes and they get chocolate syrup with brownie and vanilla ice sitting on top :(

Somehow this has become our pit stop for our trip to Agra, we tried this restaurant last time we visited Taj Mahal and this time we had to go back to this place.both times we were very satisfied with the service, ambience and the food .

This time we tried chicken boti masala , Daal Bukhara & chana masala , the food tasted great and the breads were soft.

Chicken boti masala - soft chicken pieces with mildly spiced thick gravy🍗

Daal Bukhara - one of the best Daal’s I have eaten, creamy daal makhani with right blend of spices and taste

Chana masala - we tried this dish as wanted to try something new and was surprised by this dish as well 👌🏻

MUST TRY are their awesome paan shots, which they serve as mouth freshner and is something unique to this place .

Ambience 4.5
Service 5
Food 4.5
One of Agra's oldest, this place has retained it's quality and taste over time, only getting better.
The staff is polite, food is a perfect blend of spicy as well as caters to the taste buds-of the foreign tourists.
Try the buffet if it's there at the time of visit

Outstanding. Value for money and the food was too good. A must in your itinerary. The kabab we're authentic and as good as it can get. Value for money.

Pinch of Spice is said to be one of the finest restaurants amongst the upcoming markets of Agra. Everyone recommended it very highly, with my school friend taking me out for a meal on the final day of my trip. But it wasn't an experience to savor.

The order was for the Honey and Cinnamon Colada to begin with, but the taste was well below expectations. There was hardly any taste of pineapple at all, with the honey being overpowering. The manager on call got it replaced with a Britney's favourite, which was at least worth having.

We had a Mushroom Khumb for the starter, but that was average as well. Very bland, with the cheese on top not adding any flavour.

The main course dish was the Paneer Lababdar. It is the signature dish of the restaurant and this was a score. The gravy was quite well-balanced and not very rich. The portion was also of a good size and quantity. But the tandoori rotis were burnt in the first instance and had to be replaced.

Personally, I'd not recommend this place to any of my friends/people going there to visit for the first time. At approximately 1,500 for 2, there's little value in terms of the overall experience. The servers are slow, despite the huge staff numbers and the food doesn't really deliver as per the standards of the ambience.

There is an old saying that if lion has to survive in jungle he will never looses his roar otherwise he will never be consider as lion. This phrase suits my fav pinch of spice restaurant. Had dinner with family who came all the way from Delhi and US. Everything was perfect but this time the taste we had all these years was missing. Add on there was a hair string in biryani but being an Indian I can live with it but my friends from abroad they pointed it out as hygiene issue. But staff was attentive and they changed the biryani. This time the warmth of hospitality was missing. Piece of advice being a regular customer don't miss the basics. Hope you will do better in future.

Visited Agra for a short trip. Asked a couple of people for food recommendations. All of them gave the same name 'Pinch Of Spice'. Food was tasty. Staff is courteous. Ambience is quite nice. The place is packed with guests most of the times. In a nutshell, it is a nice and must visit place in Agra to enjoy awesome food and atmosphere.

Quite impressed with the dinner buffet here offering value for money proposition. Starters & main course are quite good. Staff is bit confused but polite & courteous. Buffet meal would be better than Ala Carte.

This restaurant seems quite popular as it was recommend to us by a lot of people in Agra and has a good footfall.
We went here for a very late lunch and ordered a chicken tikka , seekh kebab, Murg Lababdar, mutton biryani along with some breads.
The food was average , it wasn’t warm and didn’t seem fresh.
Romy Kumari
What an amazing place! One of the must try places in Agra. Tasteful done food presentation and flavours. Gentlemen serving you the food are polite and courteous. Don't forget to try daal bukhaara here. Happy eating to you :) I will cut 1 marks for having to wait for half an hour before table allotment!
Zac Sim
A restaurant that is definitely for foreigners. Taste of food not what I had expected more bland in spice flavor. Portions are rather large not very asian. Beer was not chill and they definitely pays more attention to white people.

Very good food and presentation is also super. The ambience sometimes becomes loud but the rest is good. I've tried many dishes. From beverages to main course everything is great. #food #spices #greattaste #amazing #desserts #beverages

There was no way to give a zero, because that's what they deserve. The place has a waiting of 40 minutes and we don't take reservations. However a phone number and email ID is publicised, for making reservations. Place with staff with poor attitude doesn't deserve to be visited.
Anshul Rastogi
Horrible daal Bukhara..too much of salt...when asked to change, was re-served the same portion with added water. While starters were ok, mocktails and daal experience was horrible
Nivedan Kukreti
Please visit this place only if you need large portion of serving and a basic decent food. A lot of traveller liked this place as Agra did not have a lot of options back in the day, and the food portion size was larger and prices were cheaper than the star hotels. I would say things have evolved in the city a little bit, do not hesitate to try out other options and their are plenty available. I was a regular at this place but one certain service incident did not allow me to go back to the place. Still I would rate it as a decent place.
Rajeev Sahai
Visited this place yesterday. The ambience is very nice which gives an indication that the food too must be sumptuous . The food as expected too was outstanding. We ordered tandoori, Afghani , fish tikka and Golden fried prawns...All of them outstanding in terms of taste and presentation. The mouth freshner was liquid and I liked the concept. The staff was prompt and courteous. A must recommended for people visiting Agra...

After a tiring tour, came to this crowded place where we had to wait for 15-20 mins to get the table. Restaurant guys were courteous when we were waiting, once we sat and ordered food, it came quickly. Food was very tasty and service was prompt and quick. All the veg dishes we ordered and mocktails were good. Definitely recommendable and very satisfying experience.

I need to get back on track and start my ratings on this site
A very attractive amazing and delicious place to visit, the taste is still in my thoughts and soon will back to taste them again

The quality of food for which this restaurant is known for has started to degrade.
There is no proper hygiene also at this particular restaurant.
There are insect & flies on the table.
No proper care against insects and flying insects.
Doors are open with no insect repellers or Air Curtains.
With food industry these insects are common then how the fssai is allowing the restaurant to work without proper protection against external parasites.

Lack of tea and coffee is the only thing i missed it and other things were perfect the dood was nicely served and has taken a care of small things
One of the finest options for dinner or lunch in city of Agra.Dal makhni and paneer lababdar at this place are lipsmacking.
Staff is courteous .
Reason of not rating them a 5 star is just the crockery they really need to change it asap.
Broken or Fully scratched plates is something which doesn't match with their fine dine concept at all.

Price is a little on the higher side but you get what you pay for.

I was surprised to see a packed restaurant on a weekday! We had to wait for around 10 minutes to get a table.

In a city filled with tourist there is no shortage of restaurants and this one was among the high rated restaurants on Zomato with reasonable rates.

Food:

Tandoori stuffed mushroom- I was disappointed with this one. There was no flavour to the stuffing, skip it.

Paneer lababdar- soft Paneer cubes in a rich and creamy gravy, recommended

Veg fried rice- The rice was perfectly cooked with veggies and served with a gravy but the

Paan shot- this is complimentary at the end of the meal and it was one of the best paan drinks I have had!

Service was good.

We were visiting Agra and usually, wouldn't have ventured out of our hotel when traveling. But a friend had highly recommended this place. Looking at the ratings, we were intrigued. The final thing was that this was just a minute walk from the hotel and hence we found ourselves here.

I had pretty low expectations and was actually pleasantly surprised with the interiors and overall decor. It is quite tastefully done and gives a feeling of being pretty upmarket. Contrary to some of the reviews that give it a quick-service restaurant, this is a place where you can relax and unwind at leisure really.

The drinks menu was very elaborate and ended up being our main focus. See the pics. The presentation was good too. Even the complimentary nuts were nicely presented. They had a full page of LIITs! However, the taste wasn't that awesome - main reason for a lower than stellar rating. The food - noodles, corn starter, were pretty good.

Service was spot-on and overall, very decently priced. A must visit.

A perfect place to have an amazing lunch after seeing the Tajmahal, hardly 2km away hence a great option as no detour was required in my day trip to Agra.Wait time was 30 min but completely worth it.Ordered chicken rara and Dal bukhara.Quantity is good.Ambience and service was very good. They offered a complimentary Pan shot at the end of our meal which was a perfect way to say 'thanks for visiting us'😀.

So impressed by Pinch of Spice! The restaurant is bang opposite ITC Mughal where we were staying and since it has such good reviews and probably 1/4th the cost of Peshawari we decided to give it a try!
We reached Monday evening at 830pm and there was a waiting. The crowd was varied, both locals and foreigners and it was vibrant and nice!

We ordered 2 drinks and tandoori stuffed mushrooms and dahi Palak kebab. We ate Indian vegetarian food as the Chinese and Italian did not seem appealing.

The portions are massive and the flavors bang on. We ate dal Bukhara, pudina paratha and rotis and I have to say, this has got to be one of the best kali dalis I’ve eaten.

Extremely friendly staff, good value for money, no vat or tax on alcohol in U.P is a winner and delicious food!
Very nice place! Not exactly fine dine. Lots of chatter around. Service is super prompt and amicable. Food is great too. We ordered dal bukhara and jeera aloo. Daal was awesome. Aloo jeera had a lil more oil to our taste. Overall good.

Had a lot of hope but all in vain.

Firstly, they did not take our booking but there page shows "booking recommended".

Secondly, it was shocking that the food served by them was hardly lukewarm and not at all fresh. I asked the person for replacement. Initially, they got my order in less than 5 mins but subsequently it took them 20. To my utter surprise I spoke to the manager there and he said that it happens during weekends. I asked him whether we got served from the buffet but he said that the same item isn't available in it. To my surprise it was. At that moment I lost my trust in whatever that manager said.

I recommend all my friends not to visit this place on weekends as the management is unable to handle the customers.

(Waited for 20 good minutes for the check and saw how a drunk Indian man accompanied by a bunch of tourist was mocking the management)

Great food , never expected such a great taste. We ordered paneer and dal bukara. The taste was amazing. The service was fast and very receptive inspite of the heavy rush. The icing on top was the pan shot which they gave towards the end. I took 3 of them. It was really great. I will come to this place whenever I visit Agra again.

After searching a good restaurant in zomato i found this place for proper dinner as rating is very high. But it turned down my experience . This is a much crowded restaurant in that locality.

What we ordered -

Crispy corn - It was not at all crispy as the name suggests. It was more like corn chaat. Disappointed with the first order. Though the server came to knew about our feedback, they didn't bother on it.

Mix vegetables - This was good both in taste and quality. All vegetables tossed in a medium based gravy.

Vegetables Hakka noodles - Noodles were not well cooked and it was fully loaded with capsicum and cabbage. Not worth.

Chilli paneer- Not at all great and tasted bland. Chunks of paneer were soft and only loaded with onions.

Tandoori Roti - It was more crispy and not edible.

Lachha Paratha - well cooked layered paratha.

In drinks i ordered a glass of White wine. Wine was lacking in aroma.

Though staffs were well mannered, still they were not bothered about the dinning experience.

Food - 2/5
Service - 3/5
Ambience - 2/5

The service was excellent inspite of heavy rush. Food preparation and taste was excellent. Loved the pan flavored drink they served as complimentary at the end.

It’s situated right on the Tajganj main road, and it doesn’t disappoint. The food tasted good, ambience was wonderful. Service was quick and they had a really well lit bar . If you’re visiting Agra or staying , I suggest you must try this place out

I would wonder if there's any reason to rate them below 5 star. We went there after seeing the online review about this place ,damn it didn't disappoint us. We visited on Sunday for our lunch after the tiring visit of the Taj Mahal, the place was full of foreigners and indian visitors too. Restaurants like this in tourist places I have bad experience before, they generally don't take the indian customers seriously. But out of my amazement the management was so kind and keen to know about their service feedback from each and every customer indifferent of nationality. We were 4 people ordered 2 non veg dishes after getting recommended by the waiter, after all the food and drinks the bill came only 1600 Rs, I was like jaw dropped. In Delhi I could easily guess the bill around 3K to 4K. Seriously, after a long long time a restaurant gave me and my friends a whole level of satisfaction in every aspect.
