Review Achman Restaurant - Agra

DEEPAK HASIJA
Very good food. Crowded. Feels short of space. V good service. No system for waiting customers. If you're more pushy/aggressive, you might get a table more easily. Parking for about 4-5 cars.

Achman is an excellent restaurant with a wide variety of delicious dishes. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect place for a romantic date or a night out with friends. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the service is top-notch.

Firstly this restaurant is purely for vegetarian people, but the food and price are worth it, the atmosphere is good but the space is a little bit conjusted. Service is too good. Recommended for the family outing for lunch and dinner.

It is a good restaurant in terms of its exquisite dishes and mid range costs. Food tastes quite good and it's a pure veg restaurant. It allows parcel facilities as well and has tied up with zomato. So, one can even get it through online mobile app zomato. I liked the coffee as well. It is worth viditing here with your friends and family. Totally recommend it !!

Nice restaurant and good food . If you are looking for restaurants near Bhagwan Talkies & Dayal bagh area with comparatively low budget you can explore this restaurant . Food quality is good and nice . It is both veg and non veg . We ordered non veg and the food was very good . Comparatively in this part of Agra you will get lesser choices so this comes out as a good joint for lunch . Cost wise for four person it will cost tentatively between 900 to 1000 Rs ...

Good place for family functions but they should let people customize menu according to them.(Just for functions)

Achman is an excellent restaurant with a wide variety of delicious dishes. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect place for a romantic date or a night out with friends. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the service is top-notch. One of the standout dishes at Achman is the butter paneer masala. The paneer is cooked to perfection and the masala sauce is rich and flavorful. The naan bread is also a must-try, as it is soft and fluffy, with just the right amount of chewiness. Another dish that is highly recommended is the dal makhani. The dal is good and tasty, and the sauce is spicy and aromatic. In addition to the main dishes, Achman also has an excellent selection of appetizers and sides. The samosas are crispy and delicious, and the onion bhaji is a great choice for vegetarians. The mango lassi is the perfect accompaniment to any meal, as it is sweet and refreshing. Overall, Achman is a fantastic restaurant that is definitely worth a visit. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Whether you're looking for a romantic night out or a fun evening with friends, Achman is the perfect choice.

A literal Place for all Vegetarians.
This is actually the best when it comes to the Main Course. From a very long time we've been visiting this place with family and our order is the same always when here. The Navratan Korma, Dum Aloo and Kadhai Paneer of this Place is next level!β€οΈβ€οΈπŸ™

I love the food served here.. especially butter paneer masala.. but this restaurant doesn’t deliver to Gular ka nagla, bichpuri road,Agra.. This restaurant sure is missing some really big orders.. Kindly start delivering here too..
Rekha Home
Really dissapointing. They send burnt naans and other breads.Wasn't expecting sach experience from achman. And this is not the first time .So I'll just refrain from ordering from achman.

People...the 4.1 rating just got the worst of me!
I ordered a simple palak paneer with stuffed naan and while the naan was appreciable , the palak paneer was disgusting..
It was bland and just overdone with bay leafs aroma all over...
It was just not palatable!
I hope you dear foodie are spared from my experience...udupi brindavam is couple of blocks away and is much better...
A simple cozy resturant with quality and tasteful food. Preferable for family lunch/dinner as well as formal dinners. They serve the best navratan korma. In budget costing.

Taste is v v v good BUT quantity (amount) is bit less. Staff is v polite and courteous. Location is v approachable. But ambience needs a little workout.

Going to this place for years now. Old school restaurant but serves the best Malai Kofta in the town! Totally value for money food. Must visit place for family dinners.
Kapil Agarwal
Loved the taste since many years...The Malai Kofta , Navratan pulao, kadai Paneer and Navratan curry are the best to eat there. Too Tasty and pure vegetarian.

1. The place is at walkable distance from Bhagwan talkies.
2. Ambience is ok.
3. From what I had order some food was good and some wasn't.
4. Staff wasn't fully aware about the food the hotel serves.
5. Restroom available.

Could be the option for a dinner with family.
Visited this place for the first time few days ago. Ambience is peaceful. Generally I don't visit a pure veg restaurant as I love non veg :P but we were not able to see any other good option near Bhagwan Talkies so we entered. We ordered Fried Dal, Kadhai Paneer and Butter Roti. Food was fine but quantity seemed less as per charges. Courteous staff.
Hemant Pandey
Malai Kofta and Mixed Veg served here are something that is going to stay in memories for a long long time. Very good family-time place. Dinning here is always fun.

Navratana korma and pulao!! This dish I have been eating since childhood and it's my favourite. It's rich creamy and full of flavours. It's a must try.
Pratishtha Pandey
Since from childhood I'm a huge fan of their shahi paneer they serve the best shahi paneer .their gravy is thick tasty full of flavours they serve with delicacy in their food .but I never seated their I used to get it through take away, bcoz the place is too small.so 4 stars just for tasty food
Dipesh Keshri
Good food with great ambiance and not so courteous staffs-Basically they are robots in form of humans-just to serve the orders.
I believe, they are famous for different varieties of Raita they serve.
Kritzthevamp
The ambiance is very nice and peaceful. Their navratna pulav and paneer chilli are very tasty...so if you are going there don't miss them.πŸ˜‡

Visited this place for the first time, since i am from New Delhi.
This place serves good food in budget. Place is hygienic, staff is cooperative and service is quick. I tried tomato soup, mixed vegatable, malai kofta and makhani dal along with tandoori roti and naan.
Ambience 3/5
Food quality 4/5
Service 4/5
Taste 3.5/5
Overall 3.5/5

Best and budgeted north indian restaurant which I have ever seen. I am literally dying for its malai kofta. Never ever had malai kofta and paneer butter masala as they serve. If you have been in Agra then definitely will go there and have its malai kofta for sure.

Very nice place to enjoy tastey food.... Good place to get your cars parked... People are good and lot of hospitality is found... Snacks and lunch dunner dishes all are very good and up to the mark...

This one is one of the oldest and still going strong on all fronts kind of a place. Have been to this resturant umpteen number of times and each time we have had a perfect meal.

It serve pure veg dishes and mostly specialise in Mughlai food. There dishes are little on a sweater side but still it's something you will love to eat over and over again.

On top of the list is there malai kofta, navratan curry, paneer butter masala.

On the downside there interiors are a little let down and the place gets smelly most of the times, that's the only reason most of the time we get there stuff packed and have at home.

All in all it's a must have.
Akhil Agarwal
I love there malikofta simply hands down. For traditional muglai food this place is best option bit congested though.Waiting is also there.Gone there several times

Achman! Awesome! Just Superb! This is a great vegetarian restaurant and they serve some best food items in Agra. Everything served here is just awesome! Best item in their menu is their Malai Kofta, which is to die for. It's a must-have dish that you shouldn't miss. So yummy and full of aroma. I have never had a better Malai Kofta elsewhere in entire India! South Indian dishes and specially, their special Dosa is full of dry fruits and very rich in taste and quality. Chinese items are also good. Tomato soup is too good.
Service is decent and ambience is good. Lighting is dim and well-suited to my taste. Staff behavior is not good at times. That's the only downside.
Overall, it's a must-visit place for veg lovers. I had been there several times with my family and always had a good time.Divya Devanshu

Dont like to dine in their...but i order food for take away once or twice in every month...their malai kofta is my favourite...and the lunch pack they provide is the best lunch pack i ever had in agra
Ayantika Bhaskar
This was a roadside stop for us for brief lunch. We had ordered plain rice, navratan curry, aloo jeera and dal makhani. Interior is so-so, not really fashionable or glamorous while food was of mediocre taste. A one-stop veg restaurant for casual dining.

Used to be great place during our childhood but now not so attractive. The restaurant serves yummy food but the rates are highly priced. Eating place is quite small. The service is fine.
As the competition in the market has increased will prefer other eateries with great ambience and aura at the same pricing.
Anuj Maheshwari
Great food. No ambiance. You can visit this place only for food taste and quality. Navratan curry is a must try. This place has lot of scope of improvement.
Anubhav Jain
For vegetarians this is an old place in Agra. Taste and quality is good and satisfying.

It is overpriced in terms of food as there are many better options available in these prices.
Visited this restaurant after lot of offline recommendations (word of mouth) in the past year and a half. Bottom line - not disappointed.

Location - Not the best of the locations, and parking trouble is a part of the package. But I didn't have any great expectations any way. So as long as one gets parking, you are sorted.

Service - The restaurant was full to the brim, but we didn't face anything like a service lag. It was prompt and quick. And the waiter was happy to respond to our many questions regarding dishes on the menu. No issues here.

Food - The most important factor. Dal Makhani Butter Fry was just too good with the zeera tadka in butter! Different and a must here. The other extreme was Kabuli nan. Useless preparation with dry fruits and canned syrup fruit cocktail put on the top of butter nan like toppings! Fake nan. Khoya paneer was nice a but a little too sweet, just like the Kabuli nan. The Butter Paneer Masala, however, was a good blend of spices.

All in all, a worthwhile family restaurant for North Indian non lavish affair.
Abhishek Gupta
This was THE PLACE around 10 years back, but now it's only running on its name. There is nothing outstanding about the restaurant. The menu is the same for years so is the ambience. There is a lot of parking issues around this restaurant as there are no fixed spots for the customers.
Ankit Gupta
There is nothing which stands out for this place, been here when there is not place else to go. Food, Service, decor, nothing works for this place.

Not recommended. Period

It's hard to review such restaurants whose manager isn't interested in his customers...
Still the place is good for family ...
Service is fine but the locality is bringing it down.
Can be better but they themself are not interested...
Kanishq "food Is Not Less Than Breath"
Service is below average nowadays. But food is quite delicious. You can find a rocjet size kofta in Veg bomb. Rest seats are ok but with smaller roof it feels congested.
Gaurav Gupta
Pathetic Service. I couldn't eat well. We sat there for ten minutes and no one attended us. Then a waitor came roaming around asking us what we need and after some conversation asked someone else to attend us and we have to go all over again.
Food: paneer butter masala was sweet. Chana masala was totally dry. Only thing decent was dal tadka and rice. Total disappointment and no plans to visit there ever :(
Varun Mertia
Achman is also one of the oldest restaurant serving good North Indian Food in Agra. Since, this place is small and always crowded, I prefer to parcel the food from here always. The Chana Masala and the Mix Veg Sabzi prepared by the Chef here is just amazing. The Paneer and dal is good too.
The Service is quick as they hardly take 15-20 minutes, to parcel the food.
Vineet Basantani
I prayed that one day I should be able to review this dent in the name of restaurants.

Today is that day.

I have visited this place for free lunches thrown by school friends and have always despised their choice. I hate their food even for free.

What is that oil that you cook your chhole in, Mr. Achman? Did you borrow that oil from the nearby Atmaram auto who just overhauled a Maruti 800?
If you dare to eat their food, grab a digene from the neighbouring Ganga medical. He might give it to you for free if you tell him that you just ate at Achman.

The jail like ambience will urge you never to return. The waiters are deaf.

And I've been hearing that this guy has raised the prices also. He doesn't even fear God!!

But Agra will teach you.
Just wait right there.
