Review Mirch Masala - Ahmedabad

laxmi rajput
The meals are great. I tried their amrithsar paneer, which is excellent, and they also had non-vegetarian food, which they both deemed to be acceptable but a bit pricey. The ambiance is excellent there.
Swarup Sundar Saha
Really cool restaurant for non-veg lovers of Ahmedabad. The interior decor is unique with old Bollywood nostalgia. The staff are very polite and provide quick and prompt service. The food is really great and comes highly recommended. I would personally suggest any one looking for good non-veg food in Ahmedabad to go there.
Miraj Desai
Good Food and service with decent ambience. Chicken tikka was on the spicy side nicely cooked tender. I also had papdi chat but it was quite basic nth new about it.
Tridip
Impressed with the taste of food. The authentic food of North india / punjabi. Ambiance, service, options for vegetarian and non vegetarians are also good. Price is little bit higher in range but in comparison it is highly recommend.

Love the traditional indian decor and cutlery. It really adds to the appeal of the place. The food was absolutely delicious. The Kesar Jalebi are a must have to finish off your meal. I am not a big fan of jalebis personally but I still went back for a second one after tasting theirs. My mother in law took another serving of jalebi to take home. The only downside was that it was a little overpriced hence the 4 stars. Would come again.
Nikhil Datta
Food delicious, portion size also adequate. Service staff were slightly bored and lethargic. Overall very satisfactory experience. Parking is a big issue so try to avoid rush hours. But definitely worth a visit.

The FOOD is really DELICIOUS here. One can visit here with family and/or friends. They have everyday specials too. The ambiance of restaurant is pure FILMY . Also one should try their ALOO CHAAT . It's different and yummy. The staff member who took order and gave us the bill was appropriate but the staff member who was serving food, didn't serve food properly .

If you are a non vegetarian and in Ahmedabad Mirch Masala is one the best options..They have quite a few branches across the city as well. Vegetarians have a lot of options in Ahmedabad but non vegetarian options are limited. Try Mitch Masala.. Won't regret it

I simply loved the food here. Visited the place on recommendation of a local friend and only after eating their food I realised what I missed in Ahemdabad for so long. The ambience is good and reminded me of Urban Tadka, Mumbai. However, the food gets five stars from me. The staff was polite and helpful. At every point they gave suggestions for the meal order making it easier for us to decide. They Reshmi Kababs were just too delicious and didn't want them to finish no matter what. A must try place in case you love non vegetarian food.
Sanket Shende
Place was too good, full Retro 70's era theme inside hotel, movie famous dialogues written in wall to reamind you beauty of old movies, food was delicious and service was good, special my favorite is Gulab jamun.

My visit was wonderful with my colleagues today. I can't even imagine that...these type of restaurant is exsit now a days, everywhere Bollywood theme and home style stuffs. Staffs are very polite and respectful. I had Mushroom in starter ....#smokeySmell ....wow.......I really loved it, the utensils are very exciting things. All the best..... Keep it up guys...

Mirchi Masala offers the best fafda-jalebi during the festival of Dusshera. The quality and quality both are very good along with chutney and toppings. The ambience and decor of the restaurant is very unique. The location of Mirch masala is very good on popular CG road and their overall food is very nice. The only negative about this place is its pricing which is on the higher side. Due to its pricing its regular customers are now turning to occasional customers.

I got Murgh makhani and laccha paratha. It was fairly good.

I also ordered paneer tikka masala which was extremely bad in taste. It had overpowering masala flavour which ruined the whole taste. The paneer pieces were also very less. I had heard a lot about this restaurant so wanted to know what is the hype about, but it didn't stand up to my expectations.
Restaurant make customer angry so much wait for dine. Very bad experience. Do not order from and dine

So today we ordered takeaway for two veg main course from this outlet of MM-balti baby veg and Sabji Mirch masala.the food was below average, with too much salt in balti veg.the quality of the food has severely deteriorated from what it used to be.highly disappointed.the portion size was good, but sub par taste led to lot of leftover.
Rupen Dalal
One of the legendary joint of A bad serving North Indian Cuisine. Have visited almost all odd their outlets over the years and have good find memories odd the food. Never have been disappointed. Keep up the flag high
Gaurav Praja
Its centrally located and best place to have non veg in that area. Tandoor food is really served well. Service is nice, one who takes order needs to be more polite with customers. Bollywood theme is well crafted on walls. It made me me visit second day as well.

I was sent stale food.Lachha paratha & butter rotis were burnt. Yesterday’s paratha & rotis reheated.Veg had no salt in it. Since I was very hungry after missing lunch,I put salt in veg & ate with NaN,the only edible thing 😡They didn’t send bill or mukhwas also.Total waste of money 😡
Bhavya Maheshwari
This is a Bollywood theme restaurant. The food was great, it was a perfect meal - gravy, butter roti with chilled chaas :)

Lovely place. Nice Ambience. The staff is good. The food is value for money . Delicious food. The mango lassi was amazing. And the jalebi was super crispy . One of the best jalebis that we have eaten so far
Dharmendra Prajapati
Pathetic sabzi and dal served. It had only garam masala in it nothing else.we threw the food as we were unable to eat.not expected such stuff. Will never order again from Mirch masala .
Topshot Toppshot
Good food. They follow the instructions for food preparation that were given. Quality and preparation is very good. Though individual dish prices are somewhat on the higher side, they have a brand. Overall one can expect food of satisfying type.

The quantity is superb!!!! The Biryani is just....😘😘😘😘😘😘 The dal pahadi is delicious!!! And has no competition..... Taste of the food was amazing.....the packaging of the food is good

The great place with nice ambiance and bollywood decor. The food has a good range but i found the starters to be very expensive. we had chicken Shikhari tikka/ Murga mirchi masala which turned out to be very tasty and filling for one hungry person But we found roti was bit raw good thing they changed . They can restructure the pricing a bit, otherwise the place is pretty goo.
Food-4/5
Beverage-5/5
Ambiance-4/5

The best chicken dishes I ever ate were from here. Must try : chicken dum biryani, shikari chicken, tikka chicken masala with garlic naan- well that’s my usual too

Cravings for mughlai? No problem, go give your taste buds a treat with such delicious food here at this place! 😋 They have this amazing short range of non vegetarian food dishes which they serve with the perfect taste to allure their customers. Biryani is to die for (a must have thing). Ambience is also good and service is slow when they have huge amount of crowd like on weekends. Overall, a must place to visit for mughlai cravings! We ordered:
To murgh: shikari- 5/5
To murgh: Hara- 4/5
Murgh dum biryani: 5/5
Siddhi Shetye
I think this is one of the best hotels for non vegitarians in Ahmedabad. I tried Fish tilkas and Desi style chicken curry and I loved it.. Really looking forward to try another dishes on their menu..

I had daal fry , mix veg and Jalebi the best in Ahmedabad! I visited after long time it’s my favorite restaurant whenever I visited AHMEDABAD I have to come here because of the tests ! Highly recommended

I can't thank them for their awesome service. As part of world environment day and for our future orders, we have decided not to use any kind of plastic. We specially gave them order for giving us biryani in matka and it was so beautifully packed. These people will make change and are already making change. Thanks from all of us.. Do see pictures
I visited the place last week for family gathering. I had earlier visited this place many years ago, so was a bit exited. On reaching there I was a bit disappointed as I found it very congested. Though it was a Friday night, we had to wait till our number comes. There was waiting!!! After almost 15 minutes we get in. The ambiance was a bit congested, though comfortable. The Bollywood theme was same as I saw years ago. Total background resembles ‘Punjab da pind ‘, which thrilled my little daughters. Food was good as expected. In fact food quality & taste both were really good. I would suggest this place if you like quality food with ‘hatke’ atmosphere, must visit Mirch Masala.
Nidhi Kachhawa
Amazing and very mouth watering food and really creative ambiance...hey if you want to try some starters and non vegetarian this is realy must visit place in Ahmedabad....and amazing thing about the ambiance is you can get into nostalgia with old memories of Bollywood
Chetan
Very poor service, way over pricing, don’t like it at all, pathetic, need a lot improvement boss. When we got done having dinner we was talk and I see their employees was trying to rush us and also their employee told us( “we have customer waiting”)., by the way I am customer too so I have right to take time so I don’t feel comfortable and guess what their food wasn’t that good either., way the price was not that good quality of food at all , think before you go there!
Sourodeep Chakravarty
The great place with nice ambiance and bollywood decor and paintings inside. The food has a good range but i found the starters to be very expensive. I had zafrani chicken biryani which turned out to be very tasty and filling for one hungry person. They can restructure the pricing a bit, otherwise the place is pretty good.

Had been here a long time ago and didn't like the food. But can't believe the food changed completely now. The food not only tastes excellent but also has a sense of freshness in them. Even though the place has such large number of customers the staff doesn't fail to serve on time. Had a great experience with my friends
Deven Shah
The ambience is that of highway side dhaba ... with old songs playing continuously...
I ordered subji mirch masala n tandoori roti n chaas... the sabji was a bit oily n buttery inspite of requesting less oil n butter ... but it tasted good ... the roti was well done n crispy just the way I like ... the chaas was awesome ...
Abhi Kakwani
Hopeless staff. Not even ordered main course and they kept me waited for legit 45 mins just for my 1 chicken tikka. I asked the staff for three times that how much time will it take more? He just simply said 2-2 minutes. After waiting for 45-50 minutes I just got my chicken tikka. Hopeless staff ever.
Home to lip smacking and delicious food both veg and non-veg. I especially liked the non veg food here. Taste is great and the portions are large. You can also treat yourself to some great varieties of chaats. And to top it all off, the sweets are freshly made and very very delicious especially the jalebis.
I would surely recommend everyone to check out this restaurant. You will surely visit again

This is a place for punjabi food lovers. Its a bollywood themed restraunt. Serves exceptional punjabi food and is always considered as a bench mark for food. Service is superb in everyway. Very friendly staff and going there always lights up the day, the must try is dahi papdi chaat and jalebi
Teejay AB
Was good the ambience was better just one issue its in basement so internet was not coming up otherwise food was very good should give a try once will visit again had ordered panee sabji and roti with missi roti and haraiyali kebab very fresh .!!!

I doubt there is anyone in Ahmedabad who hates this place! The non veg served here is out of this world. My favourite is balti chilly chicken, cheese butter masala with garlic naan & masala chaas. For desserts you must try their jalebis & gulab jamun. They have Bollywood style dhabba look interiors which is a refreshment from other restaurants in Ahmedabad.

Rat Spotted!

So, I along with my family and friends have been going at Mirch masala CG for forever (more than 15 years i guess). Really loved the food always.
BUT when I went this weekend (on5/8/2018), we spotted
a BIG FAT RAT near the kitchen area!
I'm not even saying we might have seen a rat.
It was there for good 15-20 mins.
When I informed the manager he simply nodded and went away, never facing us back

It's horrible feeling to spot a rat at your favourite restaurant.

More than that, the food have been super heavy these days, it's delicious but leaves your stomach super blotted the next day.

Sadly, will never be going out at Mirch masala CG road again.

Visited this restaurant on strong recommendation of a foode friend. This place needs no publicity, it's simply the best in Ahmedabad I had so far.
The food is great and the offering is sumptuous. Do no forget to have hot jalebis as dessert.
The place is nicely decorated with walls having painting of Bollywood cine stars.

Very good and different ambiance. Old Bollywood retro Sabha style steal the show. Very nice and testy food serve at very authentic way.good place to hangout.

Order biryani at office... It is worth every penny. The aroma and flavour is perfect.. definitely worth a try... I bet the dine in is equally excellent.

Probably the first/oldest Mirch Masala in the city, this CG Road restaurant is the perfect mix of legacy and contemporary trends.

I visited this place for the first time as a four year old before visiting it day before yesterday after turning 26 and I realised that little has changed here in terms of ambience of food quality. Mirch Masala remains one of the best in the city when it comes to authentic Punjabi cuisine.

We ordered Hariyali Tikki and Aloo Chaat. Aloo Chaat was the only disappointment in the entire experience as it was no where close to "chaat"! Hariyali Tikki was amazing and lived up to expectations.

For main course we had Subzi Mirch Masala, Rotis/Naans, Dal Makhani and Rice. While Dal Makhani was amazing in taste, it was too spicy and deviated and authentic Punjabi "Makhani" taste. Subzi Mirch Masala was moderate spicy and tasted great!

We ordered Jalabis for desert which was a sheer delight!
Jay Engg
We ordered malai tikka starter it took 15 minutes to cook then comes the main course it took another 15 mins to serve very lousy service another 20 mins for biryani though the food was good but service is pathetic.
Place has nice ambience and the Bollywood theme is also good, but they've stuffed the place with too many retro items. The staff was polite and the food was good.
Harsh Aggarwal
I ordered Shikari paneer tava for Rs 330 and butter tandori roti. Guess what i enjoyed these two items a lot. Shikari paneer is made after mixing several masalas together. It was enough for 2-3 people. Great ambience with filmy environment and waiters are well dressed.
Gautam Patel
I was very amazed with the interior theme you have. The paintings on the side walls were nice also.

I don't have to wait too much.

The service and food was great too. I'm pretty much satisfied with the service and food quality offered here.

It's a good place to be. Very good experience.
Chef Tanay Goregaokar
Good place for food. Had been here for dinner. The theme is good, typical Bollywood style. We ordered for dual chicken tikka in which 4 pieces were red and 4 were green. Good marination, well cooked, tender and juicy. Both the tikkas had distinct flavours. For main course we ordered for Kheema Paratha, which was soft, yummy and filling.

When it comes to staff, they are not friendly at all. Had ordered for a fizzy drink which was served at room temperature. When asked to replace, I got a straight no and was offered ice. Now, ice in a fizzy drink? I can't imagine. Service is also too slow. The stars are only and only for food.
Jackxpalcious
this place is alway my fav for non veg and seekh kebabs and jalebis ..

the kebabs were good but a huge disappointment from jalebis and gulab jamun .. the jalebi was very sour and gulab jamun was not cooked properly or they forgot to heat it.. huge lumps of aata.. inside...

will not order again
Bhoomika
Heard a lot about Mirch Masala and finally went there with 3 of my friends. It was Sunday and luckily there was no waiting as we were there by 8pm.

So we were not sure what sabji we should order. I asked the server whats the best. As per his recommendation, we ordered Paneer Amritsari. Not as per our expectation. One can get that kind of sabji anywhere and it was less on salt as well.
2. Tandoor da paneer as sarter: That too was basic. What we get in any north indian restaurant.
3. Dal makhni: It was less on salt as well. If you are a dal makhni lover then you should definitely try jassi de parathe’s dal makhni.
4. Jeers rice: Basic in taste. Good quantity.
5. Aloo bhaji paratha: A large and thick paratha with aloo and some bhaji in it with dahi. We all loved it.

I heard a lot about mirch masala. Hence, my expectations were high. But the food was not that delicious. If you really want to treat your stomach with delicious north Indian food then you should definitely try Nini’s kitchen’s corn mushroom capsicum sabji or veg cheese kofta or paneer palang tod pizza Or you should visit Jalaram parotha house.

We visited this place. The food quality is so worse and oily that you can't eat. Price is much more higher. so much oil in Biriyani you can't take three spoon.
Divyangna Parikh
Jeera Rice & Dal makhani - can't resist a good dal and all the chains of the Tomatoes brand really knows how to make it well. A single portion of rice comes in huge qty and is very filing, garnished with coriander.

Subzi Raita - a cooling raita with rice and dal in the summer is perfect accompaniment.

Nimbu pani - can't go wrong there.

Ordered the shikari mushrooms for starters and boy they were burnt. Plus it was too spicy to have without gulping in water. The mint chutney alongwith it was great though.
Ronak Bhatia
Visited Many times never came back disappointed always good experience. Ordered shikari murg Tikka and murg tawa ka very tasty with perfect spices and marinate. Will visit next time.
Maulik Rami
Very dull taste nd not upto the mark price-wise. we ordered jalebi also nd it was sour not sweet.. service was also of poor quality.. over all not worth to spend such money in this restaurant.

over priced

Must go to this place at least once. The ambience is very lively with positive vibes. The food is equally delicious, non-veg platter has a lot of options, the meat was soft and succulent. Fish curry was okayish. A bit pricey but worth it.
Shankho Chakraborty
Wen to this place in the first week itself. The service was nice , though food a bit on the spicy side. Biriyani was bland , could have done a better jo with the non veg
Manasa Karthik
Good food, great taste. Had ordered kichidi (as they told it's awesome here) and it was delivered on time. Though slightly food was spicy, taste is truly amazing. Recommended!!

Jitni hi tedhi utni hi Mithi 🤭
Heart full of Chashni 😍
Aye Haye Mera to Dil behla Jai aisi lajavab jalebi se💓
Followed by Many more cool food Stuffs.
good to go for a sweer desert.
the restaurant is pretty famous for its punjabi food & their spicy food, it is located at sg highway which is pretty silent street in ahmedabad, food has a medium range costing and is good for a family lunch / dinner as you will find mostly such at the restaurant.

Cost For 2 : 300rs- 400rs
Food Quality - 9/10
Food Presentation - 10/10
Ambience - 7/10
Suraj Peshavaria
One of the best places in Ahmedabad. I frequently visit from London and it has become a ritual to come here for the succulent, tender and delicious chicken tikka. It quite literally melts in your mouth. There are also some fantastic vegetarians options not to mention the paneer! A must to when in town.

Ambience 3/5
Staff 4/5
Food 5/5
Service 5/5
We had so many times our dinner at this place and we all day finding the best taste and good service. Hope you open your location at my city soon.
Will Visit again n again.

One of my favorite places since childhood. Love the ambience and the staff is also very polite. I prefer this place for non veg lovers. There mango lassi is the best.

Food(8/10) Chicken(10/10) Dessert (9/10) Ambiance(10/10) Service(8/10) Overall(9/10)
This is one of the best nonveg restaurants that i have found in Ahmedabad. I mostly stay in Bangalore and get amazing nonveg food, But this is one of those places that i would surely recommend food lovers to go to when you are stuck in Gujarat. So i went for my brothers marriage to Gujarat and i usually prefer veg food when in gujarat but then had cravings so asked one of my amdavadi friends and he suggested me this place.
Tha ambiance is amazing, with bollywood themed restaurant. The managed could be a little more friendly, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food is amazing. I liked the food so much that came back again to try mutton and fish the next day.
We had some dry starter crispy tandoor type of chicken (To murgh), good enough. Reshmi kebab was very well marinated and tasted delicious. Fish tikka was very ok, would advise not to have fish. Seekh kebab was good, soft well spiced and minced chicken, and chilli milli was best: it had green and red colored and floured chicken, i guess achari tandoor flavored and green chutney flavoured chicken tasted really good.
Main course we had chicken tikka, really well made with the all flavors well balanced and not very spicy. Mutton was ok, again would advice stick to chicken. Fish gravy was very average. Wanted to try few more chicken gravies as all was cooked very well but was too full to experiment. Asked for cheese naan and they served the naan with good propoertion of cheese really satisfied with that order and my younger siblings were very happy to have cheesy naan.
Desserts are just remarkable. The jalebi was very burnt on the first day but they got it replaced , so the next day i asked the waiter to keep them less fried and he kind of brought half fried jalebis then had do send it back again to get them more crispy but the taste was amazing with all ghee and red jalebi that you usually don't get in Gujarat, people usually eat pale yellow tasteless jalebi. Gulab jamun was also really good. Would surely suggested to try this restaurant and even i would come back again here.

Excellent food preparation. Worth the wait. Nice themed restaurant.

Food: good, 3.5/5
Service: excellent, 4/5
Ambiance: excellent, 5/5
Cost : approx 800 for 2, 4/5

Poor delivery service. Limited range for delivery. Won't consider even if you are a doctor in duty.
You'll find the restaurant mostly empty even on Sundays or occasions.

The food is amazing we ordered paneer sikhari and it was exceptionally awesome,it was a perfect mix of spices and each spice literally bursted in my mouth
Arunav Kundu
Mirch Masala Ahmedabad, having their ambience, decor in Bollywood theme makes an unique interior.
Also they serve food in brass utensils makes it different.
Food: The food is cooked to perfection with supreme taste and top class service pulls me to this restaurant every single time I visit to Ahmedabad.
Overall experience: A must visit place to hv authentic non-vegetarian food.
Rhea Savant
Great service and the decor is really very interesting!!
I would definitely recommend this place for its super amazing service, the Bollywood themed decor and ofcourse the food!
Masala papad, egg masala, garlic naan are a ‘must try’ !!
Shashank Mistry
One of my favourite restaurants in Ahmedabad. Our regular order is the Shikara chicken tandoori (pura) which entails 4 mighty pieces of tandoori, well cooked, spicy and god! It will satiate your desire to have the perfect chicken tandoori in Ahmedabad. Chicken Biryani masaledar is our other regular order with perfectly cooked pieces of chicken and rice. The chutney and raita that they give you as sides will also take you to cloud 9.
Ambience is alright their theme being the small highway dhaba/restaurant with popular Bollywood actors glaring you. The service is quick!
Highly recommended for Non vegetarian food in Ahmedabad.
Anahita Irani
Craving non vegetarian food in the city of Ahmedabad then head to Mirch Masala like we did. On the day before we headed back to our city Mirch Masala was our best option for dinner.
Lucky that we landed there early, coz there was a huge line of people waiting to get tables inside.

What we ordered was some tandoori chicken, tikkas, limbo pani, tava chicken and tandoori naan.
The potion size and taste was decent. Servers were attentive inspite of the huge rush.

But best of all is the decor and menu. It's totally Bollywood with the added tadka of mirchi. Hritik says " Kaho na MIRCHI see pyaar hai' Mocambo is khush with MIRCHI... An old clock and hanging top scooter caught my fancy.
Overall a good experience.
Krishna Shah Joshi
Went on a weekday, the experience was mixed bag, we order the mirch-masala naan, it was almost raw, however when we complained the stuff was curtious n promptly changed it. The highlight was kesar-jalebi, it was awesome. Overall a good experience

So I was craving for some authentic briyani. I checked zomato and I saw this place served some good briyani. But then I ended up have garlic rice instead of chicken briyani. But their punjabi dishes are really good and maybe they should stick to that. The ambience is spoiled by the seating arrangements in the restaurant. But the theme on the restaurant was put together perfectly!

One of the best places to visit for Punjabi food. The food is authentic and leaves you asking for more. The dessert jalebis are amazing. The portions are great too.

Its rare I give 5 star to a cafe but this one has really impressed me so much.

I was just amazed with the ambience of mirch masala.I feel like i was on some bollywood set.

Coming to food-

we ordered tej hari sabji(5/5) and paneer tikka masala(5/5)

After long, got a chance to have something from this place again. It was a take away so no feedback on any other thing. (However, I can share that thier ambience is not extraordinary but just basic with a good veg & non veg food. Sitting is bit compact and may not be a good option for Jain or pure veg lovers because of less distance between tables).

Just wanted to have their subzi so ordered "Paneer Lababdar". - paneer was soft and it had a big cubes. Gravy was slightly sweet and it was dark in a colour. Taste was not bad but the sweet base and excessive darkness made it low on the points. Full marks for paneer softness.

I have been to this outlet of Mirch masala a lot of times. I use to be super satisfied after eating here. But yesterday (1.2.17) was a horrible experience of all time. The helpers of the outlet didn't turn up until one of my friends tapped them. Service was super annoying and the food was disgusting too. One of the chicken dishes from the mains was sweet enough that after the first intake I have already given up.
Won't recommend anyone to further go to the outlet.

After roaming around for 30 mins or more and deciding not to wait for 45-50 mins at around 5 different restaurants/ cafes we finally thought of trying our luck here and we were lucky to get a table immediately. So glad we decided on this one.
Some classics never let you down and Mirch Masala (CG Road) is one such place - always a hit. Have tried all their branches but this one specifically is the best and personal favourite.
Their Amazing services just add up to an even awesome food.
Even though it was a sunday, we had a great experience.
It was like a Nostalgic trip for me.
Their chaat are a personal favourite and I literally have cravings for them so had to order them the moment we stepped in
Then the second not to be missed (its almost a crime not to order it) is their cheese naan which had cheese oozing out in each bite, if I remember correctly then they were the pioneers in such an insanely loaded cheese naan
Paneer tikka Masala was spot on with really super soft paneer
And no meal is complete unless you order their Jalebi / Gulab Jamnus - we opted for gulab jamuns as he had no appetite left to enjoy their king size jalebis
#SomethingsNeverChange

Had one of the worst experiences at Mirch Masala, CG Road...we were 2 people, ordered tandoori chicken shikari...they served the dish aftr 20 minutes and the chicken was completely dry n nt at all chewy..when asked to change, they seemingly dipped it into some red spicy gravy n served it again.. and because of what they did with the dish the first time, we didn't ask again to change but left almost 75% of it...we also ordered subz mili juli which seems to be one of their specialities bt that was again less spicy n flavors were normal as if it was cooked at home...i think when we go out we expect something different in terms of taste...staff was untrained...highly disappointed n over hyped place.. I'll never recommend it to anyone...

the food quality is not as good as it used to be once. the vegetarian food ordered by us was so gross that it was hard to digest and everyone got an upset stomach. the chats and sweet are best to relish.

Old is gold, that's what you will feel when you visit any mirch masala. The old rustic bollywood and television theme goes well with the simple yet amazing food. It was a Sunday night and even though reaching at 8, it was almost full. We ordered their famous
Delhi chaat 5/5 always perfect
Angoori cheese balls 5/5 the cheese was oozing out of them and tasted really good
Paneer lababdar and paneer butter masala 4/5
Kashmiri Pulao: 5/5 I was expecting a fruit and dry fruit laden sweet rice dish but then came simple rice cooked in milk and topped with pineapples. The combination surprisingly worked so well, the pineapples providing much needed acidity to the dish and making it taste heavenly!
Last but not the least,
Hot jalebis : 5/5 they were on the house as an apology for bringing the starters late. Now that is amazing service and customer satisfaction done right. Kudos to the management and the chef.

The restaurant is in basement and a bit difficult to locate. The decor is rustic and inspired by bollywood. The food was yum and and had good portions. If you are looking to have some non vegetarian dishes head straight to mirch masala. The only let down was service.

The lunch for ₹340 is worth the money. Bollywood themed ambiance is pretty cool. Buttermilk is awesome, aaloo matar is delicious though the service is a bit slow !

Good place to visit. Authentic food with dhaba kind of ambience. But the service is very slow and poor. Amazing for non vegetarians. Must try once

No doubt tasty 😋 non veg food. Number one place for me to eat boneless chicken biriyani. Other items like dum biriyani , daal rajma khichadi, and best "Maa ki Khichadi". Remind you home sweet home... in non veg pahadi tikka, lasuni tikka for spicy food lover. And don't forget Ras gulla in the end

Bad!!! While the food was great...not sure why they charge cold drinks at thrice the price of its MRP(68, with service for a cold drink worth 20 Rs.)...18% GST on top of it...

Have been here multiple times. It is a great place for North Indian non veg food. Shikari varieties are the best. The chaats, though expensive, but taste delicious. Khichdi, Palak lasuni, MM Special khichdi are the USPs. Bollywood based ambience has a special appeal

The Best Restaurant in Ahmedabad!!!
Enough Said.....
(but bear with me, i wanna write a lot)

Food :- 9.5/10
The food here is just about perfect.
These people supposedly have a Midas touch.
All the dishes i had were 'one of the best' of the kind i have ever had before.

MUST TRYs :-
1. Aam Panna
2. Rajwadi Lassi
3. Adraki Nimbu Sharbat
4. Shikari Tandoori Chicken
5. Gosht Rajwadi
6. Jalebi
7. Paneer Papdi Chaat

Shikari Chicken was one of a kind. The spices were just foodgasmic. The meats used are of the highest quality.

Ambience :- 9/10
They have a Bollywood-Village kind of theme. Check the few pictures i have uploaded.
The roof is like a Village Hut, the wall posters have a Bollywood and Rural touch to it.
Its in the basement, hence secluded.
It also has an open section where chaat is made and served.

Service :- 9/10
Quick service. Prompt and Warm staff.
The staff helped us through the selection and were oatii though we were taking a long time to take a call.
The prices are decent too.

Thank You for this amazing experience.
It is such experiences that define a city in a person's mind.

Happy Foodgasmic Feasting to You !!!

Good atmosphere. Tasty Food. Bronze utensils. Village themed. Decent service. A little overpriced. A perfect place to spend weekend dinner. I recommend it.

Mirch Masala is one place which never gets old no matter what. Their Dal Makhani, Chicken Tangri and Chicken Curry always going to be my favourite. The chicken always juicy and fell off the bone easily.

Quirky filmy decor here add a desi charm and service always fast no matter how crowded it is.

I think they use the same base for most of the meat and vegetarian dishes. So, no matter what you order everything ends up tasting the same.

If u miss Punjabi food in Ahmedabad, this place comes to your rescue. Rara Chicken, Chicken lollipop, afghani Chicken, tandoori chicken are worth trying. Biryani is more of rice and curry. Would have given 4, but staff is not friendly

Amazing quality of food
The chicken desi style curry is superb
And for starters Chicken Tandoori is a must.
The Dahi Chaat is also a good choice for starters.
The pricing is very appropriate according to the quality and taste of the food.
The service needs an upgrade., but except that everything is amazing.
