Review The Square - Ahmedabad

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant where Chefs worked their culinary magic. The sushi and Thai curry they prepared were nothing short of exceptional. Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavours. The sushi was impeccably fresh, beautifully presented, and showcased. The delicate balance of textures and tastes was simply divine. As for the Thai curry, The depth of flavors, the perfect blend of spices, and the richness of the curry were beyond compare. It was a tantalizing journey for the taste buds. This dining experience was a true testament to the talent and dedication of the chefs. Their creations surpassed all expectations.

Nice presentation of the food. Starters were new and healthy too. Lots of options available in dessert too with ice creams. Main meal like paneer subji and sarso da saag was good. Mung dal halwa was a show stealer. Even cake was good and yummy. Food was overall satisfactory and has mild taste too. Ambience was not that great just like a simple restaurant. There was live music too which was played on sitar. Tea and coffee bar available.

Visited the Square recently for breakfast buffet . Price per person is Rs.700 which is decent when you have various options. They have fruits cuts, juices, oats milk, all Gujarati Farsan like poha vermicelli upma ,khaman, dhokla… South Indian options idli sambhar dosa …. Live counters for paratha, omelettes (day special was fafda jalebi) and English breakfast Must try food is amazing Cutting Tea was the star of the food Worth visiting . Will come again whenever we will come 🇮🇳

First of all, the notion of a Hotel having a fine dining restaurant has been declined here. This place, more than anything, is such a nice spot to have a lovely meal out of blue and just enjoy the food, in no way it is extremely sophisticated. The casual vibe is something I absolutely enjoyed. They had a great open ambiance with good quality food. Appetizers- We had Thai corn cake and Dahi kebabs, they are exactly the name suggests. The Dahi kebab were genuinely exceptional and the corn cakes too were amazing. Soups- Mushroom and Tomato. Both the soups were warm and welcoming, especially the mushroom soup. Thai Green curry with Jasmine rice- Extremely scrumptious and delicious. I would say the best Thai curry one had , genuinely really good. American Chopsuey- A good example of how Chopsuey should be. Such a nice dish, sweet and tangy, with the addition of awesome pineapple. Mushroom Risotto with Truffle oil- Really earthy tones with smooth and creamy rice, mostly the best dish. Pesto Pasta- Good creamy pesto pasta with great texture and freshness. Indian thali- Amazingly curated sabzis and a gorgeous Dal Makhani. Beverages- Lemon ice tea and non alcoholic beer. I've always craved a good iced tea, and few places provide unsweetened option. I genuinely can not elaborate on the dishes we had because they are exactly what their name suggests. Almost a perfect rendition of what the dishes are many to be. Simply brilliant

Sufficiently spread breakfast menu. Tasty food with few local dishes available. Warm service. Masala tea by Kisan Lal Yadav is just superb. Ambience is good but and decor is upmarket. Sitting and menu spread faces space shortage as the reataurant is almost everyday full during breakfast hours. Egg and dosa live counters worth trying.

atmosphere, ambience everything is good. but the most important thing for which we went there was worst. the food. we have tried 6-7 dishes. and I'll suggest not to go there. we have ordered biryani ( didn't even cooked well) also ramen was worst. I'll suggest lollo rosso cafe over the square. they have the widest range of thai and continental food.

3.5 The Square has started serving Veg/NonVeg Grilled items on the name of Alfresco Grilling and chilling for almost entire summer, Visited this place yesterday, tried some Mojitos and Freakshakes as well. What i loved : Grilled Salmon 950/- Salmon Grilled properly and served with Mashed Potatoes and Brocolli. Burnt Garlic Prawns 650/- King prawns served with Brocolli and mashed potatoes, best item of the day for me. Liked their Peri Peri Paneer as well. (375/-) Prices are on a higher side. They are planning to start a live mocktail counter as well.

I went for lunch while going to Surendra Nagar. The restaurant was empty when I visited at about 2.30 pm. I have ordered Masala chaas, veg curry, and Tawa roti. All are good. There is a wait of about 45 mins to get my food despite no customers. I watched a cricket match on mobile during that time.
