Review Jassi Da Parantha - Ahmedabad

It's a very cool atmosphere here. The service is very good and quick. If you want very good food then you have to be patient to wait. Such good food and quality, but keep in your mind that Quality have a higher price.

The restaurant has two seating space, one on the ground floor while others on first. The interior could have been better. The food is impressive with a touch of punjabi cuisine. You might find waiting during rush hours, weekends and festivals. Dedicated parking space is missing though. Their dishes is what you can count on.

Superb place for authentic food of Punjab. Staff is very good and supportive Waiting time will be around 15-20 min but they have branch in ground floor and first floor both so we got number in 10 min.

A very good place for authentic Punjabi taste lovers. The place is heaven on earth. It's newly renovated, and the interior is earthen based. Pure taste, real taste. The use of spices is just apt. The way they serve you reminds one of Punjab...That pital thadi and earthen bowls for serving. Just one drawback, the parking could be well managed.

These is wait time min 20 min in the evening hours.. food was great. It was served fresh and delicious. Did not like the moong dal halwa.. rest was a good meal.

Obviously good food is available, however no drinks available. But their old sitting arregme they have removed. So prefer their Prahlad nagar branch If you want seating arrangement.

The food was awesome. The roti was so soft to eat after getting cold, the subji tastes so great to have it😋. The staff was friendly. The ambience was great. Must visit once.

That's a place where everyone will like the food and ambience. They have a pretty extensive list of parathas sectionalized into Aloo, Pyaz, Gobhi, Lahsun, Subzi, Paneer, Kale Chane and Mushroom Apart from parathas, they have a fairly long menu of Punjabi food. The food is really nice and their staff is also good.

One of the best Paratha I had. Tiny place but well kept. Menu is great and we had three varieties of paratha and everything was equally good. Lassi is too good. It’s not a fancy place but definitely worth the stars they have got.

Jassi de parathe started out selling parathe's...a mother & son venture...but now it is a brand...not only in Ahmedabad but also Vadodara etc..We had paneer mutter, kulcha, & mango lassi. All three were great Of course mango lassi is made from mango pulp...but you should try their PATIALA LASSI & PARATHE. Parathe's were quite filling & tasty. We tried aloo aur pyaaz de parathe. It's a little heavy on your tummy. But taste is A 1.

This is my second experience but at a different branch. But it is just awesome restaurant and perhaps the only authentic Punjabi food restaurant in Ahmedabad. The food, the taste and ambiance is first rate. What has impressed me a lot is that I can have a combo if I order any kulcha. Plus there are few more combos also available. These combos are great friends with your pocket. So if you are looking for some yummy Punjabi food then Jassi de Parathe is the place to go.

We went to jassi de parathe on recommendation and it was worth it ❤️ . The food was very tasty and excellent service. The staff was very kind and helpful. The interior of the place is very smoothing and gives you a ruskit feel . I order my favourite baigan ka bharta which was beyond my expectations . We also ordered makhani plate which was also finger licking. Inshot food is awesome here abd you must try it .

I personally love this place , whenever I go there, the atmosphere is warm and friendly, the food is authentic and fresh and served hot a little improvement they can do is make chaat a bit spicy aur tangy rather sweet cause every chaat just feels too sweet add more flavours to it , other then that it's damn good, the staff is great and warm and welcoming I also the interiors and the culinary that they have show cased. It's also reasonable and 2 people can eat one paratha it's properly stuffed and taste damn good.

Ordered aloo paratha and rajma chawal combo last week and to my utter surprise, the rajma was stale. Tried calling Zomato to share the feedback but never got through. <br/><br/>From such a renowned place in the city, I didn't expect them to serve such quality food. Especially during the corona situation where everyone is cautious about ordering from outside and only do it in emergency or need and not luxury.<br/><br/>The only saving grace was the aloo parathas we ordered. They were good as usual. <br/><br/>

As we all know their parathas are more famous than the rest. On multiple occasions I have eaten their parathas and been liking it from long time now. <br/>Things i had ordered:<br/>Aloo pyaz cheese paratha : It was super delicious with the perfect blend of flavours and crispy paratha.<br/>moong dal ka halwa : it was decorated with lots of dry fruits and tasted amazing. The aroma had my heart.

I want to share my recent experience (July 26, 2020) of Jassi De Parathe, Vastrapur branch. I ordered 5 parathas & 3 sabjis with usual compliments. Being a customer for more than 10 years, I am highly disheartened & disappointed with the overall service of Jassi. Below are some of points:<br/>1. Overall quantity of sabji has substantially reduced with no change in price. 3 packs of sabjis couldn't even serve 5 people with normal appetite! Also, no facility to customize quantity of sabji based on members.<br/>2. Size of paratha has been reduced with no change in price. Also, no markings on the box to identify the parathas as usually all parathas are stuffed in one box. Pathetic!<br/>3. No care is taken to ensure compliments / siders are properly packed considering number of parathas. For 5 parathas, I received 4 packs of curd, 4 packs of Garlic chutney, 4 packs of butter. My bad that I didn't check the ordered items due to additional precautions however, it was because of the trust Jassi had developed in years which is completely lost.<br/>4. I specifically asked for credit card machine and I was assured that machine will be sent with delivery boy however, the guy came up without machine & asked for cash / paytm. The point is - if you can't keep up your promises then don't make one! I had no problem with paytm payment in the first place.<br/><br/>Overall, a very bad and disappointing experience. Dear Jassi team, we understand that everyone is affected by the ongoing situation of Corona but you would not be able to survive if people dont order and instead, prefer home food. Surely, this time has tested us all, but this is no way to treat a customer. You need to improve on hospitality and ensure proper services to customer.

Jassi de parathe has some amazing items to offer. There is no question on their taste and the quality of food they offer. But I believe they are little over rated. I have tasted Aloo Paratha and Gobi Paratha and Patialia Lassi at their restaurant. Lassi was undoubtedly good but I didn't feel the taste of aloo paratha. It might be because of the stuffing which was less or something. That was average for me. Their introduced combos of paratha and pulao is good though.<br/><br/>But in the dessert category they really excel. I have tasted almost all their desserts. Moong daal ka halwa and Thandi kheer are my favorite among them.

A Punjabi in Ahmedabad was craving for Punjabi food and that's when he opened his own restaurant called Jassi De Paratha. This place has most authentic Punjabi food in Ahmedabad.<br/><br/>I loved food here during my stay in Ahmedabad.

This is a place which is located in the center of the city (Talking about the Vastrapur outlet ). This place has a parking issue but wallet parking option is there. There are two sitting options: outdoor and indoor. Generally due to over cloud people have to sit outdoor which is not a good place to sit according to me. The indoor dining has a good ambience and comfortable dining. The food is good and has got no complain in that. The staff didn’t knew the dishes they served and they have to open the parathas and check the stuffing with raw hands which was a negative point for them. But taste wise it hasn’t got any issues. Lassi is the best served there.

Over rated food for over hyped restaurant.<br/>Genius de parathe and apna Panjab paratha has far better taste. These guys need to improve a lot on taste.

The place is with a good ambience . Ordered gobhi prantha and makki di roti thaali .<br/>Gobhi prantha was very yummy and amzing with good quality curd and butter .<br/><br/>On other hand makki ki roti was not good . It was just like the normal prantha and saag was also not that much good .<br/>I would prefer to have gobhi prantha here .<br/>Prantha is their speciality and you must go with it only .<br/>At the end Lassi was just amazingly yummy and heavy .<br/><br/>Prices are also very genuine .

Me and my fiancé were roaming around for some work. I wanted to try a new place for dinner, with peaceful ambience and quick service as we were running out of time. She suggested this place as we were nearby and she’s heard good things about this place. After having dinner I would say ‘Good place’ is an understatement! This place is amazing! Peaceful and cozy ambience, polite and well behaved serving staff instantly puts this place in one of your favourites. Cheese Makkai Di Tikki and Aloo Pyaaz Cheese Paratha are A MUST TRY !!!! After such a long time I had such well cooked Tikki that just melts in your mouth. If you have a decent diet, it’ll cost about ₹400 per head. And it’s totally worth it. Definitely a 5-star experience :)

One of the most popular place for paranthas in the city. The ambience here is certainly amazing, with the traditional decor giving you the warm feeling. Although it's dimly lit, it's certainly calm, with soft background music.<br/>We went for lunch and tried 2 items, which I feel are must try.<br/>Aloo Paneer Cheese Da paratha is a must! It's crisp, with the butter on top. It's served with curd and extra butter, in earthen pots! Try it with the tomato chutney kept on the table, for a spicy taste!<br/>Another must try, Aloo Tikki Chaat! The chutney intermingled with the corriander leaves, onions and pomogranete just melts in your mouth!<br/>The service is friendly and fast. Although it's on a costlier side, this restaurant is worth going with a loved one or family.

We went here during the happy hours and the experience was really good. Staff were welcoming and courteous. <br/>Service was quick. Food was scrumptious and prepared with good quality ingredients. I absolutely loved the yogurt and white butter served along with parathas. I have tried Rajma at so many different places in Ahmedabad and I find Jassi to be above all of them.<br/><br/>The best part of ordering was everything, except Rajma, were in paper/aluminum containers.<br/><br/>The only reason I decided to give 3 stars is the Dahi that they provided along with Paratha was of 'Shreeji' and the container of Dahi was OPEN.<br/><br/>If Zomato rates a Restaurant as "Good Hygiene" then it builds up an expectation. I have always looked for their Hygiene Tag before ordering. But this one disappointed me.

Zero value for money.. The price is very high.. Stuffing very less.. They charge ₹210 for patiala lassi.. I would recommend go and drink ₹30 farki lassi.. Both are equal.. This restaurant is just a hype.. And the cost is extremely high.. They should revise their prices and provide food valuable for that amount.. For kulchas go for Kadak Bhagat instead they charge half and provide good food.

Food was avarage in taste maybe it's happened due to insufficient staff compare to crowd. Unusually hyped place. Preparations and tastes are not authentic. Quality of ingredients are questionable. The height is that when I requested a small bowl of Salad, they told me it’s chargeable for whole dish. The waiter and manager are arrogant in service while there is hardly 3-tables are occupied.

Visit on my birthday it was very good experience for dinner. I had tried kulcha and dal makhani combo. It was very good. Also tried subji and butter roti. But you have to careful about the salt portion it was very high and dahi kofta biryani was also a too spicy. Dahi and chhash was awesome 😋overall good experience 👍🙏

Visited on a Sunday and it was really crowded. We waited for around 45 mins. So if you are planning to visit on a weekends do pre plan. The interiors are well done and has a traditional touch. The staff is very helpful and courteous. They carry a wide variety of paranthas and other dishes too. The only issue was that I found the paranthas to be a little too salty. Each dish is served with fresh dahi and butter and variety of chutneys and pickles. Their chaas and Lassi is great too. You should try out their special patiala Lassi. Ordered Dum Aloo, normal paratha and Roti. Well considering it was Sunday night so I think I can definitely try it again on weekdays😋.<br/>Dum Aloo: 2/5. Today I ordered executive dish from Jassi De Parathe which was horrible.Palak paneer and other sabji did not have any kind of taste. They were too much oily. Even Dal was not good.Pickle was not fresh. It was tasteless meal.<br/>This dish on @zomato was showing around 4.5 stars. But dish was not worth 1 star. Good wholesome food, but very very spicy.  Eat with caution,. Inspite of food being spicy they give aachars in case you can tolerate the spicyness.

This place is awesome. I cancelled my water park trip to come here and enjoy the authentic taste provided by them. Our order is taken on a tablet by waiter and per paratha, we get so much curd to eat with. I love this parathas

It's one of the best restaurant for Punjabi cuisine in Ahmedabad, located in front of vastrapur lake. There is parking issue, so I would suggest to plan accordingly.<br/><br/>We ordered multiple varieties of parathas as we were 9 people. They have Jain options available. Amritstari Paratha is my personal favorite, along with paratha they serve makhan, curd and green chutney. Patiala lassi comes in a huge pittal glas which can serve two persons. Dal makhni has no match, I strongly recommend Dal makhni. I wish I had huge appetite.<br/><br/>I was so lost in food that I couldn't get to look around the ambience. Which is quite impressive with both inside and outside sitting arrangements. They have floor and table sitting arrangements.<br/><br/>Go for it !

Have been to JDP for many times in Vastrapur and Prahladnagar both... every time order new type of parathas and have superb taste every time. A must try place..

I had ordered Paneer Paratha with Lassi...Paratha is good, but lassi is average as there is missing of taste of punjab...  Missing the taste of Ambarsar.....

The ambience is pretty cozy with warm low lighting and traditional seating . It's a place where you can dine alone , or with friends and family. If you love Allo Partha with lots of butter and lassi this Is the place for you. Also can try some other flavours like corn or Gobhi. Delivery packaging is also good . Heard some issues on hygiene issue by the AMC health department but not found anything of that sort when we visited the place

For a paratha lover, this place is heaven. Absolutely delicious punjabi parathas where you are spoilt for choices. Best go to place for superb variety of parathas in Ahmedabad. Well, I did try their amritsari lassi as well which is full of dry fruits and is very thick. Loved the place!

Bit disappointment this time.. We usually love food from this place.. Specially all in one paratha.. This time we ordered online and paratha was having very less stuffing inside , taste was also different than its usual and delivery took more than estimated time.

#punjabi..👳👳<br/>It was pure Punjabi food. The lassi was exuberant. The serving of food was marvellous.<br/>The seating and the taste of the food was authentic. The dark lights make it a perfect restaurant for the night. The only problem faced was that I had to wait for 45 minutes to get a seat inside. There are no enough seats. This is the reason for which the outlet of this great place deserves a 4-star rating.

Good food.. good taste. Daal makhani and patila lassi are just superb. They even give salad before main course so it's the best as you can munch that meanwhile main food is getting read..

Bit disappointed with food quality. Our family loves to order food from Jassi de parathe. But this time their cheese corn tikka was overcooked rather burnt and hardly we could find any cheese inside.

We were just checking out this place. We ordered basic Aalu cheese Paratha but got served some paratha with lots of garlic. Staff hasn’t clue about it so I asked waiter to taste it. But anyways it was good and I was super hungry so ate it. At the end I ate 2 paratha and paid for both as well. We order malpuva also which was at par.<br/><br/>Place looks bit dirty because of furniture and chairs seemed uncomfortable to me.<br/>Food was good.<br/>Food might drag me there again but ambience might stop me going there.
