I ate at the restaurant and the food was beyond fabulous. Super tasty and really amazing. Veg and non veg both. However if you have a problem with veg and non veg being cooked at the same place then this is not the place for you. Otherwise I will highly recommended this restaurant. This is not the chain of Moti Mahal but a Stan alone restaurant serving delicious food. Not to be missed

We tried butter Chicken, chicken mughlai,and this chicken crispy in started.it was very crispy and amazing and their kunafa is 3.5 out of 5 .over all experience was great. we were traveling and they gave us some space on ground floor to keep our league bags .they are slightly expensive bt it was worth it❣️

I had a breakfast at Moti Mahal Hotel a week before...Asuper delicious payable.. kheema and above all bun maska..very very delicious. One must visit here if you go to Ahmed abaddon.

Basic rooms with 24-hr checkin and 5 mins to railway station. I reached Ahmedabad station at 4 am in the morning without a place to stay. I was roaming around the station when I found the Moti Mahal Hotel. Went upstairs and the boy at the reception promptly stood up and mentioned that rooms were available. The bonus point of this hotel is that it offers 24 hour check in service and is literally 5 mins walking distance from the railway station.

Can't say about the rooms as I often visit the restaurant & enjoy a lot. My family members live the taste, so a big happy joint family dinner is mostly planned here. It is a very busy location & to find a parking or to cross road next to hotel can be risky.

By the name of Mutton Roghan josh serving Simple Mutton "Sabji" with Mughlai gravey, pieces quantity was very less. Tandoori was tasteless.

Just the name left. Food is pathetic. Overpriced, high price compared to portion of food. Flavour less Biriyani and hardly find good Chicken or Mutton pieces. The tandoori chicken is so dried up with no juices left and all you taste is the brushed butter. Pathetic. Given them a lot of chances by visiting again and again still no improvement. This is my favorite restaurant in whole ahmedabad. I used to study in Gandhinagar hostel. Whenever we friends use to travel grom ahmedabad Station, we use to halt here for food. The quality of the food has always been awesome with no compromise. Do try chicken crispy while ordering starter. Biriyani is also the best. When we use to come back from Mumbai to ahmedabad we use to hault over here in the morning specially to have chai maska bun.

In the middle of a busy bazaar this place is always packed. We sat upstairs which funnily reminded me of train coaches. You'll find all sorts of crowds here - from daily meal bachelors to full fledged joint families. We tried the Tangdi Kebab which was too damn delicious! And the Mutton Biriyani - with spicy masala and lotts of sofft pieces of mutton. This places is one of Times Hospitality Icons from 2019.

I am so disappointed with this restaurant service and quality, will never ever order anything from here. Ordered a full non veg platter and out of 4 types they only gave 3 types. In menu its written chicken items and fish item but turns out they don't provide fish instead they give mutton and that's okay but haven't updated the menu online, well not a big issue with the menu but why didn't they give me the mutton? NO SIDE SALADS, NO CHUTNEYS! How am I supposed to eat those dry asf meat? The chicken were as dry as wood. And when called they tried to convince me that's it's mutton and I don't see it. WOW Moti Mahal. Would earn everybody about this.

The biryani was excellent..not too oily. We actually regretted not ordering it before 😂. So if u happen to go there...u can safely go for their Biryani. Its worth it. It's culinary blasphemy.<br/>Having heard very positive reviews from the locals about the kebab platters at the place, my expectations were, understandably,high. Though their chicken reshmi kebab was soft, juicy and tender, but it failed to live up to my hopes. Moti mahal can put some amazing butter tandoori roti on your table, along with some amazing caramel custard. But their chicken dishes, particularly butter chicken, were a huge let-down. One mouthful of this dish,recommended by the staff at the restaurant, and you wouldn't feel like having any more.

They have two menu cards and two sitting areas. The ground floor is basic road side kind of place with rats running in the sitting area. The AC one was good and nice place to sit. Chicken lollipop was amazing. Chicken biryani was bitter for some reason. Had good amount of chicken in it though. But really concerned about hygiene as the same dish is served with different prices. So inspite of paying more you get a dish prepared in a kitchen where they believe in ratatouille!

Mixed feelings about this place at my most recent visit,after having their biriyani. The taste seems to have detoriated to an average biriyani now. The kebabs and side dishes however are still very good,and tasty. There is almost always a rush,specially post evening. Service is promt.

An iconic restaurant in the city of Ahmedabad I love this place for it's breakfast spread. Bun maska, kheema pav, and the lovely nihari and paya are to die for. The sweet tea is a perfect balance to the spiciness of the above dishes. When it comes to dining in for lunch and dinner, I find the nothing spectacular in taste. A very old Restaurant in the heart of our town at Kalupur. The food here is completely like the Home cooked food from my Muslim Friends but really very tasty.. The prices are moderate. Place is clean. The only probs are a little Oily Food & Parking. Its on a one way road but u will get parking on the opposite side of the road. Keema Pav (Bread) is a must try. They make awesome Tea too. A must visit for Travellers and Ahmd locals too. Cheers.

A crowded Restaurant in the Old city near the Ahmedabad Railway station, Ground floor is mostly occupied by singles in a hurry to grab a quick bite before boarding their trains or locals who visit to have Tea with Bun Maska. First floor has an AC Family hall. The prices are quiet moderate & so are the Portion sizes, the quantity needs to be increased.<br/><br/>Dishes tried out on various visits include – Tandoori Chicken, Foil Tandoori Chicken (Good moist with all the juices kept intact inside the foil, only downside is sometimes the chicken is a bit charred), Sheekh kabab – juicy& moist. Mutton Rogan Josh (favourite), Dabba Gosht – non spicy medley of flavours with boiled eggs, Mutton white again non spicy a hit with kids, Chicken tikka masala was average, Tawa Bheja (portion extremely small) taste was good. Phirni is choice of dessert in the terracotta saucer and tastes good with a hint of saffron.

Reached Ahmedabad and my first stop was at this place and it was great. It was morning 8 am and the place was bustling with people. Started off with a tea and butter bun. The tea as people say is too gud to be Ur normal morning tea. The butter bun was yum yum with thick layer of butter smeared. Ordered Nihari and a couple of rotis. The nihari was beautiful with falling off the bone meat and the very tasty gravy. I couldn't stop telling myself that it was too good for breakfast. Again bought that nice tea to sum it up.<br/>Hassle free ordering and quick service. Loved the place.
