Review Nanjing Restaurant - Ahmedabad

Arun Ramachandran
Yum food. Excellent service. Attentive staff. Cool ambience. Hit it if you love oriental cuisine. What I loved was that they have a good number of pork dishes. The mocktails were awsome too.

Nanjing is a beautiful restaurant that serves equally beautiful food! The ambience on the restaurant is good. The food is delicious. Loved their Jade Rolls and Claypot Rice. The staff is extremely polite and very sweet. They gave us a complimentary ice cream at the end of our meal which was really very nice and generous of them. Would definitely dine here again!

“I’m not a fan of Chinese food” as I have hardly had authentic Chinese food all my life. The thing I loved about the restaurant is the staff is very courteous and to people like me who have absolutely no idea what Chinese food is he will suggest you some good dishes and yes they taste good. The ambience of the restaurant gives out good vibes. Yes this restaurant is a bit pricey. For two it would go around ₹1200+. I ordered mongolian mock chicken and it was a delight for people like me who are vegetarian.

The food is amazing. The ambience is soothing and very authentic. You don’t wanna miss the opportunity to try some great near to authentic Chinese food. The pork preparation was particularly fantastic.

Its one of the few Chinese FINE dine place serving the best Chinese in the city. A wide range of option for non vegetarians special mention here - sea food. They do also have good options for vegetarians also.. not to be missed is their loaded mushrooms. The staff is courteous and they do take care of your request of addition to the dishes. A must visit for Chinese food.

We visited Nanjing one evening for dinner when we found out that one my favourite places for Chinese had shut down. The disappointed of it shutting down went down considering after dining in at Nanjing. There are still places that serve good Chinese food. The restaurant has beautiful interiors with an oriental ambience. They have a good choice for veg and non veg dishes. The food we had here was delicious with authentic flavours. For starters we ordered theor drums of heaven which were well made. Juicy chicken with great flavours deep fried to a crisp finish, they make a great starter. The lemon corainder soup was also very good. With subtle flavours, the soup was a pleasant change from the usual hot and sour and manchow. We also tried their chicken with pineapple, prawn fried rice and noodles which were again excellent dishes. Courteous staff and prompt services makes the dining experience a pleasant one. The prices are slightly upscale but every penny they charge is worth the taste and quality. Highly recommended.

If you are a foreigner and looking for an authentic chinise meal then you should visit this place.. The ambience is beautifull. The food is tasty and the service is impressive. The price is on the higher end compared to other restaurants in AHM but all those just reserve indo-chinise food however at Nanjing you get chinise food the way it should be.

Tried this restaurant for first time but I am highly impressed. We have visited this place from by looking their reviews and must say that they have one the best Chinese food dishes in Ahmedabad.

Once again best service experience by Nanjing Crab soup was great. Chicken fried rice and Mangolian chicken combined was excellent. Must visit place for Chinese cuisine lover. Portions size is great. Loved it.

The ambience was really good. That was the best part of the place. The food was very oily. Specially the fried rice and the spring rolls.

This review is for a delivery experience. I had ordered nonveg hakka (pork) noodles and roast pork with mushroom and bamboo shoot. The noodles tasted funny, the pork pieces in it were sweet. The roast pork they sent me is a gravy, too sweet to my liking, and no hint of any other spices or condiments. I am gravely disappointed, especially with the roast pork. I don't know why they have sent a gravy when I ordered roast pork. Everything was overtly sweet too. Couldn't eat anymore than a couple spoonfuls. Bad preparation, bad taste and worst, the blatant sweetness!
Ashish Hadkar
It is a good Chinese restaurant at CG Mall. Chinese dishes served here are bit different compared to other restaurants. Quality and quantity is good but some times it lacks the Chinese punch👊. Overall a good restaurant.

This is one of the few restaurants in Ahmedabad where authentic chinese food is served.. Dropped in here thrice and one dish which has been a constant is spare ribs. It is yummy!!!

Try Mongolian chicken, Mixed fried rice, Nanjing's special chowmein..All these items are worth mentioning..Superb ambience.. Great hospitality. Price is slightly on the higher side. Nonetheless food makes it up all.. Gonna visit again soon 👍

Finally the wait for Nanjing got over, i am a big chinese love & Nanjing was on my list from long time. As it was Friday we went for buffet.

The varieties they offer in buffet is awesome. Both in veg & non veg.

I went for veg buffet.
Starting from soup, veg clear soup was mind blowing.
In starters there were 4
1) spring roll :- superb
2) fried corn curd :- excellent (speciality of nanjing)
3) jade roll :- excellent (speciality of nanjing)
4) veg dumplings :- great.

Main course
1) fried rice :- excellent
2) hakka noodles :- excellent
3) buddha delight :- excellent
4) veg manchurian :- superb.

Dessert
1) honey noodles with ice cream :- icing on the cake.

Well chinese lovers first i thought mainland china is best place for chinese, but after visiting Nanjing there is no doubt that this is the best one in Ahmedabad.

I loved the food and the ambience. It is an authentic Chinese restaurant. After a long time in Ahmedabad I had nice and typical taste of my favorite cuisine..Chinese. My favs have not disappointed me..the mixed rice and the Mongolian Chicken were just awesome

When I started eating non veg in 2013, it was Chilly Pork that I had tried at a famous Chinese restaurant in Hyderabad called Nanking. “The firsts” are always memorable and I’ll cherish that dish forever now. So when I was suppose to fend for my dinner tonight in Ahmedabad, my immediate impulse is to always search for Oriental Restaurants. Zomato threw in a few names and the one that caught my fancy was “Nanjing”. Because it reminded me of Nanking Hyd.

After seeing the menu of Nanjing today I was super excited to see Pork dishes on the menu. I had made up my mind that it is going to be ze place for dinner tonight.

As soon as I reached Nanjing, the first page on the menu described it as one of the restaurants by Ling Family from Bombay. Now people who love Chinese food would know how big And influential Ling family is in bringing Chinese delicacies to Bombay. They are in service since 1945 (more than 70 years in this industry is massive and maddening).

What started as Nanking (not the same as the one in Hyderabad. Nanking Bombay was owned by Ling family) pre independence, changed it’s name to Ling’s Pavilion due to licensing issue in 90s but still thrived on the taste of dishes. One must have found all kinds of celebrities at Ling’s back in the day when it was still known as Bombay!

Ling’s Pavilion had always been in my list of to-visit restaurants in Mumbai because of it’s legendary status. Didn’t know I’ll unintentionally choose it in Ahmedabad for dinner one day.

Coming to what I ate, I had ordered Pork Sui Mai and Bacon wrapped Prawns for starters. The Sui Mai was good though I missed chilly oil that would’ve went well with my dumplings. The bacon was crispy and the fat was delicious. The Veg Hakka Noodles that I ordered had a black-peppery heat to it whereas I would prefer to have a chilly heat rather.

The restaurant manager was gracious enough to give the dessert complimentary but sadly I’m not a fan of fried noodles and ice cream.

Getting to try food from Ling’s legacy if not in Mumbai but in Ahmedabad, made my dinner quite memorable just like Nanking in 2013. Can’t wait to go to original Ling’s Pavilion in Colaba.

#KhaanaSutra #Nanjing #Ahmedabad #Lings #Mumbai #Legendary

Visited Nanjing finally....Nanjing had been on my To Visit restaurants list since long.
Located in CG square mall, the ambience is simple and good.I decided in having the Unlimited Non-veg lunch. The best of all the things I had was Manchow soup and Chicken momos..
Chicken Hakka noodles was good too.
However,I didn’t like their fried rice and wantons.
This place is a one time visit restaurant.
Anushka Poojary
One of the best places to have chinese! Service is a bit upsetting however the dishes are great.

Must try the mongolian chicken. It had quite a zing to it, one of their best dishes.

Alongside that, we had the sweet corn chicken soup (a little too sweet but we were informed of that) and the lime coriander chicken soup - a bit too sour for my liking.

We had the drums of heaven which were devoured on. 5/5

For mains we had the fried rice and hakka noodles. A bit too oily than usual.
Victor Leo
nanjing is really good for chinies food. It is autantake restaurant for china food. I have visit with my China Friends’. He says u perfect taste same as China.
Kushal
The food isreally good and will give you tha authentic chinese taste.also the mangolean chicken is tge must try dish of this place. The service is good too.
Saurabh Tripathi
Been here a few times and ordered a few times. Absolutely love the food. Great menu, great taste. And the food is actually proper Asian food. Not the fake stuff that most restaurants try to pass off as Asian Food.
SAUDAMINI DUTTA
Loved the food served at Nanjing! We went for the dinner buffet, non veg.
There were chicken steamed momos, drums of heaven, wontons and pan fried fish for starters.
The best was the fish, very soft and flavourful! Not too much sauce, lightly tossed in some soy sauce.
I felt the drums of heaven could have been tossed in some sauce like schezwan or chilli garlic probably, could have tasted better then, they had just served them fried.
Momos were good, served with four different dips. Wontons could have been more small, the filling inside the wonton was too less compared to the size.
Coming to the mains, we took fried rice and kung pao chicken and shanghai chicken.
The fried rice was very well prepared. Light and tasty.
Rice was cooked well.
The chicken dishes could have been better.
For dessert, we took beverages, that is, fresh lime soda.
Overall it was a good dinner!
Cherag Khajotia
The best Chinese food in Ahmedabad, period! Located at C.G. Square mall at C.G.Road, this is the place with the best Chinese food in town and ample parking. They have an array of dishes both veg and non veg to choose from, my favorite is the drums of heaven, chicken in oyster sauce, minced fried rice. The ambience is nicely set in oriental style with a very courteous staff. A must visit place when in Ahmedabad
Sunny
I ordered the combo which consisted of Veg Hakka Noodles + Veg Momo + Veg Ball Mongolian.

I really enjoyed this small lunch pack.

The noodles were good. The momo was as well and so was the manchurian balls.

I recommend this place. I will order from them again.
Aayush Agarwal
the nanjing special chicken soup was nice, quite enjoyed it.
the chicken hot and sour soup had so much of black pepper that i couldn't have it only.
the quality was good for both the soups, the only backdraw was the excess of black pepper.
Chinmay Nayak
Simply put.. Mind blowing food! If you are hunting for genuine Chinese non-veg look nowhere else. They have a separate menu for Chinese people, make sure to ask for that. I personally recommend Spivey Pork and squid with rice, were super juicy and fresh. Only complaint is the banquet manager is a bit of a dick.. He needs to lower his pompous attitude way down. Taking one star off for that reason.
Abhinav Kshitij
We went here on a Sunday and the place is cosy and ambience is very smooth. Food is really good as well. We ordered the Friday buffet lunch menu and all the dishes were good. I did notice some slackening in service because of less number of staff or maybe because we were seated in a corner.
But it's a definitely go place for Chinese cuisine lovers in the city.
Florence
The veg noodles:1 kg of noodles but no vegetales
Spring rolls:V big and too greasy and to tough.
Not at all the delicious simple Chinese food I was expecting...
Jyoti
This review is from a person who has had "authentic" pan Asian food in cities like Banglore and Delhi. Having said that, Nanging is a place which is running because of its age old establishment. The food is absolutely tasteless and bland. A streetside hawker makes better noodles than them. Wonton was a joke. The meat they used tasted old. The filing was the blandest I ever had. The staff there is cold and unwelcoming. I wonder people who rate it 4 and above have actually tasted the authentic pan Asian food. This place is no where near to it. The food was extremely pathetic. It killed all my fondness for authentic Asian food.
Dhaval Monani
One of the best Chinese places in Ahemdabad. Take the fried rice - not the rice with the topped up veggies. Mapo tofu is not great - not bad but expected better. My friend has the lamb and he loved it.
Kavita Raichura
This is one of the better Asian places in Ahmedabad - inside CG square mall, just opposite the multiplex. The ambiance is good - not great but quite good. The food is actually quite good but some things like the fried rice and tofu can be a hit or a miss.
Frenk Derick
Let me start with Pork Ribs, they were so delicious, it was close to heaven. The sauce on it, was a perfect blend of chilli and garlic. The dish was so good, i would happily go there once a while just to eat pork ribs. I also had Seafood rice noodles, which also was a good and filling dish.
Nidhi Nilesh Agarwal
Terrible service off late and very unwelcoming robotic staff... Even you have to constantly remind them for special offers and discounts.. We go for the food but such service is forcing us to stop our visits. It's not a good option if anyone is looking for a cordial dinner with close circle.

Never have I been so confused while reviewing a place.

- First experience- called them on a Sunday before placing an order online to check if they serve Jain food. They refused to take my order as they had too many orders coming in and Jain food was extra effort.

- Second experience- visited the place for dinner. being a Jain vegetarian, the smell there bothered me a little. They have a spereate veg menu with a Jain section with a wide range of dishes to choose from. Was impressed with that. Tried to the grilled dumplings which were a 5/5. Loved it. Had instructed clearly before placing the order of the ingredients to be avoided yet there were carrots in the noodles ordered. The manager started with suggesting dishes and went on to almost forcing us to order his suggestion. The food was replaced on request yet was quite average.

-Third experience- visited again since I was craving the dumplings. We were informed by the same manager that they cannot prepare the dumplings Jain that day which was very dissapointing. Ordered the dim sums instead and they were really chewy and unappetizing. Same views for the fried exotic veggies. The chilly sauce was the saviour and we managed to have some bits of it.

I would not visit the place again cause of the way the staff behaved and the inconsistency in their service.
Sahaj Khetrapal
A great place to order authentic cuisine. We especially love the bamboo shoot and mushroom pork dish, and keep ordering it again and again. Oh! And the steamed buns are to die for! Super nice staff :)
The price is a bit on the higher side as we regularly like to order home delivery. Really wish Zomato Gold option was available here! We would order much more if there were perks involved for regular customers.
Shrishail Deshnur
They have a good option of set unlimited menu. It covers for soup, 4 types of starters, main course and desert. The combination works. The best part is the unlimited supply! It’s located in a mall but the place was relatively empty for a weekday dinner.

Situated at the 3rd floor of C G Square Mall, is this spacious and colorful place that serves an Indian amalgamation of Chinese food (as the menu describes the origins of the set of dishes).

Running short of time (we had arrived at about 10:15 pm), we had ordered Seafood Hakka Noodles, Mixed Fried Rice, Chicken Mongolian and a Dimsum platter.

The Seafood Hakka was quite good, mildly spicy and tasted perfect with the Mongolian Chicken - small pieces of chicken in a medium thick gravy, and a brilliant of spices - definitely recommended; the serving sizes are pretty good and can suffice 2-3 people. The fried rice was decent, though I wish there was a greater amount of fish/prawns in there than just eggs. But the beauty was the finish - the platter - with Chicken, Seafood and Pork dimsum, with the brilliant mustard sauce (I am craving the mustard sauce even now).

All of this, and it billed for us at ₹1465, which is pretty good for a setting like this.

Oh, this place. One of very few GOOD non-veg serving places in Chinese. We tried bulk of things here. I am not very confident about the names in there, so I will just go ahead with the generic names.

Starting from Kung Pao Prawn to a Masala Veg Dimsum and Steamed Chicken Dimsum. The Kung Pao Prawns were of course blissful! The Chicken Dimsums were OK as well but it was served with a mustard dip which was amazing.

Then we tried their special boneless chicken semi gravy item, Veg Manchurian, mixed fried rice, and mixed noodles and also a veg Chinese Biriyani in the rice. Only disappointment among them was the Chinese Biriyani even though they consider it their specialty. It simply tasted like plain rice.
The Manchurian balls were tender and juicy. The flavor of the gravy in chicken was spread throughout and felt good in the palate.

To top it off, we ended with Honey noodles and ice-cream. It was certainly very good living up to the expectations. I just wish they served two different flavors of ice cream with the honey noodles.

Another apprehension is, it certainly is not a 900 for 2 restaurant. It is somewhere in the range of 1700 for 2 restaurants. But it is definitely worth a go in Ahmedabad. So choose your pick wisely!

One of the very few places in Amdavad that serves authentic Chinese cuisine. Cozy ambience, friendly staff and very tasty food. 😊 Overall very nice experience.

Worst Chinese food ever. NO FLAVOUR AT ALL. Over rated, poor quality and extremely disappointed. A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. Ordered fried rice which was nearly plain boiled rice with Chinese sauces. No taste no aroma. Who has given them 4.4 rating i wonder.
Chiragmodi221
Worst experience. First if you got kids under five or active due to young age, don’t take them with you as staff is not at all kids friendly, they want them to sit quiet. Talking about food then nothing extra ordinary u can get that test at Chinese restaurant. Moreover staff is not spontaneous, even they want care abt very little thing like ur glass is filled with water or not at end of ur meal, tissues are there on table etc so u have to ask for every little thing even mouth freshness was not available at billing counter I think they feel that they are operating in China 😂. So our overall experience was like first and last experience as v r not going back that boring place.

Okay So let me start with the atmosphere Of this Amazing resto😍 !! If you love Authentic Chinese taste and spices !! No indian taste added to it !! You will surely visit it oftenly !! Friendly staff , Food quantity great , All best 👌🏻

Dropped in after a day of shopping, and got just what i was craving- a soothing white sauce stew full of fresh vegetables and stir fried chicken served over slightly fried rice- a house special! A wholesome and healthy meal which doesn't compromise on flavors! The dumsums were fine too, though made with maida instead of rice paper, but with a good amount of filling so the maida didn't overwhelm. Ordered in different chicken gravies after that, and have been happy with all of them. A good mid-range value for money chinese restaurant that seems to have stood the test of time and keeps earning loyal customers!
Sejal Odedra
It's one of the nice restaurant for dining. They have offer of 499 for veg in which they give 4 starter and 2 main course along with soup and desert. I don't know about noon veg but really nice to visit that place.
Poulomi Roy
Great experience everytime I come here. Probably one of the best places for Chinese in Ahmedabad, especially for Non Vegetarians. Have visited multiple times and have never been disappointed. Tried Kung Pao chicken, noodles, Red snapper, spring rolls (which were crispy and absolutely non oily). I have also tried the unlimited non veg meal, which did not disappoint at all. Not to mention, the staff is courteous and service is professional. Definitely going back again.
Pinakesh Mukherjee
Almost everything about the place is perfect. The ambience, the food, the serving and ofcourse the food. Be it the fried wanton, crisp chicken or chilly garlic pork, the taste has been impeccable. Special call out for the kumpao chicken as well.
Sandeep Verma
I love this restaurant, it’s next to the Sea food is great and it’s not expensive. When we go we go as a family and they all love it. I recommended it all, good food. The best Chinese I have ever eaten and definitely the best in Ahmedabad. I eat there atleast once everyone I travel to Ahmedabad. They have a wonderful manner about their service, quiet and professional. They space is clean and everything is meticulous. I recommend the barbecue ribs. They also have a lunch service for veg and non veg...I think at 399 and 699, if I remember correctly. Well worth it.
Rohita Dasgupta
Do you people even know how to make wontons ?? Their wontons are dollop of boiled flour. What a horrible experience !! Also not to mention the quantity is way too less.
PRATIK CHAUDHARI
I feel very sorry to say this.
I visited the restaurant after watching a movie at night. I asked the captain if they were open and they said it was and thus we felt lucky to get some good Chinese food here.
We ordered a Veg manchow soup, which was served in 5 minutes and we felt that it was super quick. Tasted it, didn't find it fresh and my wife found a bunch of hair strands in the soup. I brought this to the notice of the captain. He got the it removed, ordered to make a fresh soup, which we found fresh and good, as it took 15 minutes to prepare it.
Thus, do not be in a hurry to serve the food if you want to close the restaurant at your time. You should deny the entry if it is the case.

We wanted to order Stir fried vegetables, but at the suggestion of captain we ended up ordering Veg Chow Chow which was just veggies dropped in red sauce, it was just hot and the veggies were raw. Accompanied it with fried rice, which I found tasty and subtle.

The staff of the restaurant werr standing over our heads implying that we must finish our food fast.

I didn't expect anything but an apology from the Captain, but I guess he was too stubborn to apologise. The level of a fine dine restaurant is not only defined from it's ambience but also from the behavior of staff.
After paying the bill, while leaving I had to request the captain to at least apologise for the mistake committed by staff and chef.
Meghal Mittal
Really very average qualirt of food....with not much taste...we order 4 diff type of soup but none was worth paying for and nor any meal was good..the o ly thing i liked is the setup with dim light and private dining they gave to us.....bit improvment in food required.......!!!
Kalyani Nair
There is nothing worse than going to a highly rated (4.4 stars at the time) place with expectations of tasty quality food, only to be served extremely mediocre food with no flavour.

Worst Chinese food ever. NO FLAVOUR AT ALL. Over rated, poor quality and extremely disappointed. Their dishes are overpriced and the end result doesn't even justify half the price. A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. Someone seriously needs to look into this 4.4 star rating they currently have!

I never had any Chinese food this blatant.
Ordered Hakka noddles and kung poa potato dry.
The potatoes cost be 288rs and it was all sweet. Plain moist and sweet.
Hakka noddles were dry , tasteless.
It cost me 280rs ! I was impressed with quantity but what to do with quantity ?

Packaging - poor. One packet was already open. No spoons , no paper napkins .
Spend 560rs for nothing !!
Disappointed !!
Deepa Singh
I have often eaten at Nanjing but it is the first time that I ordered their non veg pack through Zomato. It had two types of chicken, steamed veg, two steamed dumplings, noodles and veg-fried rice. Delighted with all the items.
Sudhanshu Khanna
Really poor quality of food. The wontons were doughy, the seasoning of the prawns was off and the chicken sesame had hardly any flavour of sesame.
Dhaval Shah
did not expect the food to be so bad, it was dry, bland and had zero taste! expecting better food as I've always enjoyed my food from here, did not even eat it, had to give it away
Aayush
Food was good. However no paper napkins or cutlery provided.
Jenita Alfons
Amazing restaurant. Great food, very clean and with professional service. 5 stars!

It's a must visit place if you love to smell and taste raw food. If Ur not a seafood lover then better to try chicken. I personally do not like Chinese so can't complaint much as I could not stand the smell of seafood and raw smell in the chicken fried rice. Quantity of the fried rice is good enough for 3 people to eat.
Kanika Dave
my parcel box was open n food was cold!

food was good but there was no spoon

disappointed

Every penny is worth the food. The taste is so unique. Not something you will find anywhere and everywhere. If you cannot afford it, you must save for some time and have a try atleast once.

Very disappointed. This was the first time ever when Nanjing was so bad. The chicken Hakka noodles were burnt, the lemon chicken was useless, and drums of heaven were even shittier. Not even worth a single penny, have ordered multiple times but today's service was astoundingly poor.

The best place to have chinese food is this place. Ambience was good enough. Food was awesome. We have order crab soup and seafood soup their were awesome. Sumai , basa fish chilli dry. The best dish was basa fish chilli dry, so yummy ..
Its a greater place for (souless) lover. 😀😀😀😀

The food is excellent and the service is superb. this place is ideal for all who crave authentic Chinese cuisine. The place is ideal people who enjoy non-vegetarian food but also has great selection for vegetarians. I highly recommend the place for good oriental food. The cost might feel a bit much for some, but the food is simply worth every penny spent.

Tonight I went out with my friends for the birthday treat. And you know what? Our stomachs were full to the brim before we could even start the next orders.
And the best part was the girl from Mizoram.😉She looks so cute and the way she welcomed us felt so great and awesome.. . (Hope to see you again!😍
My favourite item from the menu is seafood soup. I'll come and have there again...on n on.... .
I'm the photographer (below the pic: hope she reads this).
Best restaurant!🤗

Perfect place to hangout with friends and family. Ambiance was good. Service was good
Food was good great Chinese food there......
We try momo it was good nad black bean sauce also good....

To start with, this comes quite close to the Mainland China experience and is a likely contender for the top restaurants for the cuisine it serves. The food is a fine blend of fine taste and an authentic experience. Our order here is standard, we start our meals with signature starters; the fried sesame chicken, spare ribs and a variant of honey chicken -all of these are definite treats to the palate.

Coming to the main course, we’ve tried the mandarin chicken and the stewed chicken in a pot (which in fact wasn’t as good as expected). Top all this up with a choice of noodles and fried rice and we have a total oriental experience served at the table.

One thing for sure, we’ve been specific on the no MSG addition in foods, make sure you specify if you have a reaction or a mild allergy to it. Rest, I recommend this place to everyone who wants to tickle their oriental taste buds.

Bland and poor tasting Chicken fried rice! Delivery service in the name of Zomato was unsatisfying for such expensive food from a popular restaurant.
Chicken Fried rice barely had any chicken and had tasteless scrambled egg instead! Staff also seems uncooperative (n)

The staff was polite and knowledgeable, but the service was slow and everything we ordered was very oily. The food unfortunately didn't live up to my expectations.

Best place to satisfy your chineese cuisine mood.
The manager who takes the order listens to your expectations for the day and aptly suggests items which may be are not in the menu card. So be ready for surprizes.
My personal favorite is Basil Chicken.
This place is always a safe bet.
Decor: 4/5

ordered red cooked pork but didn't looked anything like red cooked pork. It looked like chilli pork, even tasted like schezwan pork. Disappointed in that

Undoubtedly the best Chinese option in and around Ahmedabad. Infact, we liked it better than Mainland China. The service was immaculate. The food was really tasty. The ambience was great. Definitely going to visit this place multiple times in the near future. :D

Will not suggest this place. Good food but probably the worst service I have come across. I've been here twice, the first time I came here the food arrived exactly after an hour and a half. The food was great until I realised they had put prawn in my chicken Mongolian. Iam allergic to prawns. I refused to pay the full amount of the bill after fighting with the staff but they refused. That time I let it go. I visited this place again, the coriander soup was garnished with an insect. We sent it back. It came right back to us with the same insect inside it. The restaurant didn't have the basic decency to minus that out of our bill. I don't think I will ever visit this place again. I suggest al reading this to do the same.

Sweet corn veg soup - great
Veg spring rolls - really nice. Ask them for their chilly oil
Mongolian balls - balls little chewy so doesn’t soak up the curry. Maybe size could be made smaller.
Veg Hakka noodles - nice
Tofu in black bean sauce - heavenly

Overall an amazing experience. Everything is nice on the menu.

This is the best Chinese I had in Ahmedabad!! The food is very authentic and sumptuous!! Love the chicken mushroom clay pot rice and chicken dimsum!!! Tried mangolian chicken and Kung Pao chicken!! Both the preparation were done as per our requirement!! Lil spicy n tangy!! They are lil expensive but frankly I had been searching for good Chinese food in ahmedabad for very long time!! So try them if u r Chinese food lover!!

They make this amazing pan-fried noodles with exotic vegetables, a must try if you want comfort food. And the staff is so polite, specially Alwin, you will never hear a no from him, be it online order at 10:45 PM or at the restaurant.
And if you feel like eating fried food, their onion pancakes are good too!

To start with ambience is good enough. But the food was awesome. Seafood soup and crab soup were awesome. We ordered sumai, basa fish chilli dry and lamb chilli dry. Everything taste so good but the best dish was basa fish chilli. It was yummy. So soft and tasty. Worth place for non veg lovers.

Absolutely amazing food! Tried several prawn dishes and each of them was phenomenal. The bacon wrapped prawns were heavenly (although, considering the price, the portions could be considered). Ordered pork buns a second time as they were delicious. The noodles portion was amazing, enough for two or one very hungry, very enthusiastic eater. The mocktails were pretty nice too. Will definitely be back soon for more prawns and noodles!

I had never thought I would fall in love with Chinese food. But here I am, gladly admitting that Nanjing has made me look at Chinese cuisine in a completely different light.
For starters, we had the pork ribs in chilli garlic as well as honey chilli sauce. It was tender and fell off the bones. It was smokey and absolutely delicious. The lemon coriander soup was one of the best soups I have ever tasted in my entire life. Hands down.
For main course, we had the pot rice with mushrooms and pork, pork and squid with a chilli sauce and black pepper chicken. I would have never known that pork and squid went so well together. My eyes have been opened through this experience.
I will surely visit again. No doubt. Thumbs up.
Greetings from Ahmedabad,
Nowhere but here did I find a place to eat food as authentic as real Chinese. Oh my! The Manchow soup was a real soup this time unlike served in other hotels. You know what I mean right? The chicken wontons (grilled) are a Must have dish if you need a change. Oh the spiciness of food. I am so in love with the food they serve here. You'll definitely find it a lot better than other places where they *claim* to serve 100% Pure chinese. When you got Nanjing, why bother to visit other hotels? ;)
I would like to comment on the pricing which is quite high compared to again other hotels but I personally found it worth spending here. Even got a teeny tiny coupon of 250 off for the next visit :D Haha xD
Thank you.

Great place to have Non Veg Chinese, especially in Ahmedabad. Kung Pao Chicken is amazing and I liked the clear broth soup as well. Give it a try.

I believe this is the only restaurant serving solely close to authentic Chinese and non vegetarian food after mainland China in Ahmedabad. With high expectations we visited this place.
Ambience- 7/10 (mainland China- 9/10)
Quality- 8/10 (MC- 8.5/10)
Quantity- 6/10 (MC- 8/10)
Menu range - 8/10

They don't serve buffet, which broke my heart, so we had to go for ala carte. We had ordered for bacon wrapped prawns and found them tasty but a bit too salty which I Blv may be a day's mistake. The sweet corn chicken soup made me fall in love and I could relate it with those I had in China town in Kolkata. The mixed meat friend rice wasn't anything special and tasted pretty much like something served by a mediocre multi-cuisine restro: this actually surprised me as I was expecting something close to what MC serves. The Chicken that v had opted for was something specially recommended by the captain. It was chicken cubes in black bean sauce and we loved it. It was perfect and I could relate it with the one I tasted in GREEN ONIONS, BANGALORE (highly recommended).
We had also ordered pork spare ribs in pepper: honestly, we had high hopes but v were heartbroken. The ribs were dry and devoid of any meat.

Price- overpriced

Do I recommend?
Yes! But u need to choose the right dishes. Avoid pork there.

Amazing Authentic Chinese food in the heart of Ahmedabad. Good quantity in each servings. Just about perfect for two. Try their wontons spring rolls and noodles. My favourite joint for Chinese craving days.
