Review The Great Kabab Factory - Ahmedabad

The taste, ambiance and variety was good. Never had such amazing galouti kabab in my life. Little disappointed with their service and desserts. Service was slow, Starters were served too slow but the taste was good. Overall I had a great experience. Will surely visit again.

The great Kabab factory located at Radddison Blu at Kharadi is one of a gem in Pune. The place has a beautiful ambiance and well decorated. The food served is fresh and delicious. This place is a paradise for non veg lovers. They have varieties of kababs, fish, tikkas and everything tasted heavenly. The service and hospitality is too good. They hosts live Indian musics. A great place to visit!!!

The food was delicious, ambience was very cool, live music was just perfect and very soothing. Their crockery was little old, they should change it. I personally don't like moong dal halwa, rest dishes are tasty.

Visited the great Kabab factory for on going "Aadab Lucknow" Food festival @radissonbluahmedabad . My experience was by far the best. You have options for Veg as well as non veg "awadhi cuisine". Thier Hospitality makes the experience worth memorable. Highly recommended place to enjoy best dinning experience.

I recently celebrated my birthday at The Great Kabab Factory in Ahmedabad, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the exceptional service and delectable food made it clear why this restaurant stands out as one of the best in town. The range of kababs served was simply outstanding, with each bite bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options was impressive, ensuring there was something for everyone. What truly made this evening special was the warm ambiance and personalized attention from the staff. They went above and beyond to make me feel celebrated on my birthday, making it an occasion to remember. The attention to detail and genuine care shown by the entire team was truly commendable. If you're looking for a remarkable dining experience in Ahmedabad, I highly recommend The Great Kabab Factory. The manager of the kabab factory named Mr. Shubham was very rude to the us and refused to allow us the table at the allotted time and made a new rule to call and confirm the table first which lead to my family waiting for 1&1/2 hours. And the way of talking to the customer was also very bad. Talking about the food quality

Ordered Chicken Biryani Combo, with Dal Factory & Naan and everything was bad. The chicken in both the dishes was stinking. The starter was just a bland piece of chewy chicken coated with some type of red paste which everyone spit out immediately. The Chicken Biryani was a typical five star hotel spicy pulau. The naan was damp and rubbery. I've been to the restaurant a couple times before and while it's not the best it was never this bad. And everything was so expensive!

Pretty much dissatisfied after having food here.<br/>Galotti kabab and shammi kabab were the two items which tasted good along with paan ice cream.<br/>Aloo was not marinated.<br/>Paneer was too not marinated<br/>Broccoli malai was too hugely cut.<br/>Main course was terrible.<br/>Dal was too salty n did not have flavours.<br/>Paneer was too normal.<br/>Bhindi subzi had less salt.<br/>Sorry to say barbeque nation has more options than here in case of desserts as well as main course giving an extra drink.<br/>Pretty disappointed after going with expectations

The Great Kabab Factory serves King size menu with different varieties of mouth watering starters. Galoti Kabab is always Delicious. Best place for non vegitarian who have good capacity of eating and love to eat fish, chicken and meat.<br/><br/>Aleays love to visit this place. Very nice atmosphere and well maintained place with educative staff.<br/><br/>

The taste and service is great for both veg and non.veg food. I tried the fix menu in that place.all was good but the dessert could have been improved. I day i went it was kesar penda, pan ice cream n gulab jamun for the dessert. Undoubtably the taste of kesar penda was good but hv expected better dessert item.
Kinjal Gohil
I really liked their concept of fixed menu. Sometimes it's perfect to have the burden of choice taken off from your shoulders.<br/>🌟<br/>And as per the name "The Great Kabab factory" , they are specialist in Kababs. Their Kababs were really silky and smooth in texture.🤩🤩 And definitely I am in love with their biryani, Biryani had an amazing aroma.😋😋<br/>🌟<br/>And and .....how can it ends without desserts. Their desserts were really unique and delicious.

Polite and friendly staff. Contemporary decor. Set menu in veg and non veg that has changed over time. Some Kebabs are to die for. One of the finest North Indian restaurant in Ahmedabad.

Amazing Experience! The ambience was good and the service was also nice. The food especially the red meat dishes were delicious. The galouti kebab was the Dish of the evening. It was soft and filled with spice. The mutton curry was beautiful. The biryani as well! All in all Great experience. Should visit!

How do I even start with reviewing this place . It's something worse then a complete let down. If allowed would have happily rated the place below the one star mark. Ironically the kebabs itself were a complete let down. The veg kebabs served comprised of weird smelling paneer with horribly spicy broccoli, the dadi kebabs turned out to be worst . Moving on to the main course of a North Indian paneer and mix veg gravy turns out to be as sweet as a dessert ( literally) despite the red color of the gravy. Dal Makhni and Subz Biryani were the only life saviour. This is the kind of service parted to the clients on Valentine's Day with horribly confused staff serving non veg to us despite multiple reminders .<br/><br/>MUST HAVES- PLEASE AVOID THE PLACE IF YOU CAN <br/>VALUE FOR MONEY - NIL ( THE FOOD AND SERVICE/ AMBIENCE A COMPLETE LET DOWN )

We went on Valentine's Day. Restaurant is on first floor of<br/>Radisson Blu. Ambience was very nice the way we wanted it on Valentine's Day. Food was Good.<br/>We will visit once again.

The expectations were high as I ve have tried the other branches in different cities , but this one was not good at all, the food was bland ... The best item they served we was the water

Pathetic vegetarian food and very average non-vegetarian food. Not worth 50% discount from easy diner. Better go to bbq nation, find bbq nation at least 10 times better

Lovely, personalized dining experience with extremely courteous staff and efficient service. What's best is that the each extra helping of each dish at the buffet is also served piping hot at your table, as are the desserts and main course items, though a buffet spread is also laid out. The kebabs are top notch, with the galauti kebab, mutton seekh kebab and fish kebabs deserving special mention. They use bhetki fish, as opposed to basa which is used in a whopping majority of good eateries, including almost all 5-star and 7-star restaurants. The biriyani in the main course is the only let down, but then again, only Kolkata and Lucknow serves proper biriyani (as anyone who has eaten out in these cities will say). The rabdi and stiffed gulan jamun stand out among the dessert items. The meal ends on a sweet note with mitha pan and Ambavadi pan being served at your table. The waiters are very well trained and helpful, and the chef patiently listens to your suggestions. Friendly, attentive staff who are careful to ensure you can enjoy your dinner at leisure. This specialty restaurant at Radisson Blu is absolutely worth recommending if one is looking for a Mughlai/North Indian dinner in the city, with mouthwatering kebabs.

This is a second complain,I'm writing in a week.<br/>First was :- "Four Points by Sheraton eatery and second The Kabab Factory Radisson Blu."<br/><br/>This was the last time I have visited to Radisson.<br/><br/>These 5 star hotels claim to be "the best" with "THE most exquisite services" and stuff like that and then when it's time to actually act their standard I wonder where their "Professional behaviour" disappears. Cleanliness is such a basic thing yet SO important. You CANNOT believe what happened. So the other day I went have their buffet and a cockroach popped up from a plate of onions!Seriously? This is RIDICULOUS.This was the most horrendous experience I've had. I mean I'd understand if it were a street side restaurant or something like that but this is just NOT ACCEPTABLE.<br/> Wit in a second I left the restaurant and I forgot to take a pic. If you guys are thinking I'm doing just for attention plz check the camera recording.<br/><br/> "Guys please check the food before you eat."<br/><br/>

Taste for food is best no doubt in that and the ambience here is nice...the best must have was lemon fish tikka it was overwhelmed like i never had those be4...good place for non veg lovers but inspite this i would suggest barbeque nation against this...coz here there were 2-3 dessrrts only and prawns were just like ok...pastries and other desserts should also be updated here according to the price they take😀

I visited this place with very high hopes. <br/><br/>First point of disappointment was - no host. We literally had to grab a waiter and ask for a table. <br/><br/>They informed us that we will serve kababs on the table and rest is self service. <br/><br/>Started with Galauti Kabab which was excellent. And probably the only thing which was upto the mark. Rest of the kababs were ok. <br/><br/>Upon ordering one veg plate and rest non veg plates, the waiter requested us to go for all non veg plates and promised us to serve veg kababs as well. I was ok with that but then those veg kababs never arrived. Why make a promise you cannot keep?<br/><br/>Dal Makhani, chicken biryani were probably the most disappointing along with Gulab Jamun and other deserts.<br/><br/>When I went to take gulab jamun (they are my favourite) the container was empty. I had to ask them 3 times and wait very long before they refilled it. <br/><br/>I had asked for my last desert which was Pan ice cream. When it finally arrived on my table after asking them so many times it had already melted to some extent and it wasn’t exactly an ice cream. <br/><br/>When I pay 1200 plus taxes for my plate I expect a little more professional behaviour and better service.<br/><br/>Overall it was a very disappointing visit.

Visited TGKF on 08.07.18 , special due to my wife’s new job, but it was very disappointing. Very poor service. If you want to enjoy good food the great kabab factory is certainly not the place . The team is not good to handle sit in buffet. The variety is OK but not great. The main course is disaster and sweets is hardly anything. Not recommended. Not value for money.
Prachi Bhagchandani
As the name says...the kebabs served here are definitely great. However the service is a bit slow. Also, vegetarian starters and main course are not upto the mark. It’s a good place for Non veg lovers basically. The Galauti kebab just melts in your mouth and makes this place worth visiting.

It was 16 May, our 7th Anniversary and also celebrating the start of Ramadan..so treated ourselves for Kebabas..<br/><br/>Unfortunately they didn't had Al lacarta option in dinner.<br/><br/>Service person was wonderful and chef had made special mild chicken for my toddler which he enjoyed the most.<br/><br/>We had Veg and Non Veg both.. Options were good and taste was upto mark.
Imran
We went here with our staff and we were truly amazed by the variety of starters. The galouti kebabs were out of the world and repeated it few times. services were excellent too. Not even a single time we had to wait for anything we wanted. Great food.. Great service..we all came out full and content. :)

One of the places in Ahmedabad to relish the taste of Kabab’s. Its name defines the taste and hospitality they give us when we visit the place. The ambience makes it even more special with some vintage feel of Spanish culture. The galouti kabab is one a must have with main course including the daal makhani served with the biryanis and subjis.. and to end the aura of the place we are served with kesar phirni and gulab jamun. Its yummmmmm. They also give us the pleasure to meet the chef who prepares our meal. So we should visit it every once in a blue moon to relish the taste.

We were there for dinner on new year's Eve...<br/><br/>They accepted my reservation at last moment and allowed us.<br/><br/>We were last customer of that year and first customer of new year.<br/><br/>Being Non vegetarian i liked the buffet spread... They also served cake on that day..<br/><br/>Radisson itself is a brand and don't need any introduction.<br/><br/>The live music was also awesome.<br/><br/>Quality :. 8/10<br/><br/>Quantity :. Unlimited<br/><br/>Ambience : 8/10<br/><br/>Service :. 9/10<br/><br/>Value for money :. 8/10<br/><br/>Overall :. 8/10

First of all, you are charging a lot of money for your buffet so the last thing we expect from your hotel is how you greet incoming customers. The G.M of the hotel needs to discipline his staff or change his own working style to get their staff to learn etiquettes.<br/><br/>The food was below average, although with good variety on offer. But that's what you expect from a buffet with hardly any dish that you can mention which is good for taste. It seems they just want to impress with the variety instead of making good tasting foods to justify the cost.<br/><br/>All in all, it was a bad experience.

Extraordinary taste<br/>good cool ambience<br/>Crisp and balanced menu<br/>a must visit place for all nonveg foodies<br/>galaouti kebab and Lamb chap were marvellous<br/>I wish could adjust little more<br/>

Being a vegetarian, I will review the veg. buffet only. <br/><br/>The sabz galouti kebab was very soft and tasted perfect with peanut curd condiment. Paneer Tikka was also very soft and just right amount of spicy. I also liked the tandoori aloo and mushrooms starters. Bhutte and Pineapples can be given a  miss, pretty average.<br/><br/>Main course could be made much better. It was below average to say the least, not at all a 5-star standard. The food was bland. That said, I really liked the chef going an extra mile to make garlic naan though it was not on the menu.<br/><br/>The Moong Dal Halwa and the Gulab Jamuns were made to perfection (no over/under cooking), and I apreciate it bevause it is very difficult to cook these desserts to perfection. Oozing with ghee, halwa was just right amount of sweet. Gulab Jamuns had pista filling and quite big. The paan ice-cream was also very good.<br/><br/>Starters: 5/5<br/>Main course: 4/5<br/>Dessert: 5/5<br/><br/>Service: 4/5<br/>Ambiance: 4.5/5
Cspriyankapathak
Starters were 5/5 but the main course and desserts were average or one can say below that.<br/>Vegetarian galouti kebabs were heavenly delicious, i also liked the baby-corn, mushroom and pineapple kebabs. Paneer tikka was again not that great. Similarly, non vegetarian starters were delicious. Main course disappointed us. Overall service and ambience were fine.
Hungry In Hogtown
I went there on a Friday night.<br/>The ambiance is pretty good, the food wasn't good though. But but the desserts were soooooo delicious.<br/><br/>Rating : 3.5 / 5 overall

The Great Kabab Factory- Radisson Blue is a must visit place if you are bored of eating non-veg buffets at every other hotel in Ahmedabad. The pictures can’t capture what the actual ambience deliver! We had buffet dinner. It was overall an awesome experience as the staff was very courteous and fully attentive! <br/><br/>P.S : Galouti Kabab, Watermelon Mocktail & Desserts were the show stealer. <br/><br/>Ratings are as what I felt:<br/>1) Interiors - 9/10<br/>2) Ambience- 9/10<br/>3) Staff Service - 10/10<br/>4) Taste - 9/10

It was a mix experience for me overall. The menu is crisp and lovely. Food was a bit above average but most of the food has over powering taste of elaichi. The flavour should be a balanced one. The service was a deal breaker for me. Wait time was high despite the room was not full and had to wait for considerable time to get next serving. Had to call them many a times to get served. The Kababs and all their desserts saved the day for me. They were exceptional. Must try moong ka halwa and Pan Ice-cream. <br/><br/>Ambiance : 8/10<br/>Service : 4/10<br/>Food : 7/10

The kebab factory was on my list from a long time. But a huge disappointment for a brand name like Raddison Blu.  The overall buffet was nothing that great except the galauti. The service was also average as we had to keep asking for water and that is the part which i hate. According to the food they serve the charges are also very high.  <br/><br/>Your search for the best Galauti Kebabs (both veg and non veg) are super awesome. It is a must try.  <br/><br/>Overall - 3.5-5<br/>Ambaince - 4/5<br/>Food - 3.5/5<br/>Service 3.5/5

Worst ever experience! Food lovers please don’t even think to visit. Even Acs not working. It’s better to eat at a road side stall then to waste your money here. Barbeque nation is way better.
Pratik Khubchandani
Your search for the best Galauti Kebabs in town will end here. The starters are a delight, everyle one of them, however the best? Undoubtedly, the Galauti. Consistency seems to be their forte since i have been here thrice and have never found a single issue in terms of the quality. <br/><br/>The main course could definitely do with some variation/changes but the primary reason why anyone would or rather should go to such a place is to enjoy the kebabs.<br/><br/>The desserts though limited are effective with the highlight being their Paan Icecream. Other varieties include, Moong Dal Halwa, Gulab Jamun & Barfi.<br/><br/>All in all a fine place coupled with some real good food and service.<br/><br/>* I just hope they introduce prawns in the appetizers some day*.
Mallika Motiramani
Went for a meal yesterday after hearing rave reviews. Must say the most horrible experience in the last few years of eating out. Mutton starter was overcooked. Fish was stale and so was the chicken. Had meal with roti and dal . And who serves pan icecream for desserts? No soup no mock tails and was charged a bomb. BBQ nation or charcoal BBQ any day better. Avoidable folks!

Excellent variety of Mughlai food buffet . Love the starters . <br/><br/>Ambience is good , staff is attentive and serve with care . <br/><br/>The Sevayi biryani was total awesome . Keep up the good work .<br/><br/>May Jesus bless you abundantly.

Starters and desserts were good undoubtedly but too noisy and the service was damn slow even though it has a buffet. Very less options for main course and the biryani was also nothing exciting.

TGKF have six nonveg starters like galouti kabab,raan-e-murg,achari machhi tikka, bhuna murg tikka, badami murg sikh & the best Lagan ki chop.TGKF is famous for galouti kabab but when I tried all starters I love lagan ki chop which lamb chops.I never had this type of lamb chops (Delicious). After starter the reguler meal like biryani & daal ,sweet.Over all good buffet.

This place is unique in its own way. As the name suggests, TGKF is no doubt the best when its comes to serving lip-smacking Kababs. Being a vegetarian, kebabs have a limited option for us. But this place is heaven for us with good variations.<br/>The place is so pretty with soft ambiance. The theme is more of middle eastern and looks royal in its own way with a modern touch. <br/>Coming to the food, they have a special menu everyday. Depends on the chef on what new he wants to serve his guests.<br/>The menu comprises of kababs, main course and dessert. <br/>We had 6 kinds of kebabs:<br/>Subz Galouti Kabab: The best of the evening. Succulent. Mouth Melting. <br/>Tandoori Aloo: Spicy. Flavourful. Perfect.<br/>Ajwaini Phool: cauliflower marinated with ajwain and perfectly grilled.<br/>Chocolate Paneer Tikka: I did not find anything chocolatey about this one. But the paneer was soft and nice.<br/>Aloo Chukandari Kabab: very nice. Spiced heavily.<br/>Ananas Ki Chaat: marinated and grilled pineapple! Soft, sweet, hot. Amazing!<br/><br/>Main Course:<br/>Paneer Khatta Pyaz: tangy, less spicy and good in taste.<br/>Vilayati Subz: mixed vegetables cooked in white curry. <br/>Dal Kabuli and Dal Factory was really just like normal dal. nothing fancy about it.<br/><br/>Dessert:<br/>Paan Ice cream: If you like paan, you'd love this one.<br/>Gulab Jamun: so so so soft and gooey. Really good.<br/>Coconut Kala Jamun: I liked this one.<br/>Moong Dal Halwa: hot, no dry texture, subtly sweet. Good.<br/><br/>The staff was really polite and well trained. As one of my friend did not want paan ice cream, they got him chocolate one ! <br/><br/>Amazing time I had here. Looking forward to more visits. <br/>

This place was on my radar for long time. So finally yesterday got chance to visit it. Being so famous in Ahmedabad, Redisson Blue doesn't need any introduction. Interior of the restaurant is as good as of Redisson property. <br/><br/>Coming to food part, we had different kebabs in starter which was really good. It was my first encounter with Galauti Kebab, a variety from south which was served to Nawab of Lucknow, Kebab was very soft and juicy, melted in my mouth as expected. So it is a MUST TRY variety in town. Other starters was also good. <br/><br/>Main course: We had one subzi in chicken, gravy was abit tangy in taste, chicken biryani was lacking in flavour (or after having such a flavourful kebabs we couldn't able to find it? ;) )<br/><br/>Deserts: Their famous pan ice cream and Gulab jamun is really good.

The Great Kebab Factory is the perfect name for a restaurant if you are a carnivore like me, hence I was super duper excited about going here for dinner. What's in a name? Everything. <br/><br/>The restaurant (part of Radisson) has a fusion interior setting with fairly comfortable seating arrangement. <br/><br/>I'll keep the review very simple and will split up what we had by course. <br/><br/>Starters - The main reason why I went, the kebabs! I must say these are some of the most tender and flavorful kebabs you will have in town. The Galauti kebabs especially are the one of the best I've had. Melt in the mouth. The other ones were really good too. Even the fish kebab, which was super soft and flavorful. Overall if I had to rate the started by themselves I'd rate them 4.5/5. They are really really yummy and definitely a reason so visit the restaurant. <br/><br/>Main course - One non veg dish (gravy) for the non vegetarians plus biryani and two veg dishes (gravy) plus daal AND pulao - this seemed a little unfair as I would think there would be more non vegetarians coming here then the veggies so it would have been better to have a choice in gravies at least. Also the main course was just average, it was alright - a disappointment after the fantastic starters. If they improve on this i see no reason why this restaurant can't be a 5 on 5... But that's not the case right now and the main course is totally avoidable. <br/><br/>Desserts - 4 varities - Paan Ice cream is a must have for all paan lovers, I was told it was superb but I got myself a scoop of chocolate which was also fantastic. Gulab jamun, kaala jaamun and moong daal halwa were also decent. <br/><br/><br/>The service here is really good and you will definitely feel like royalty eating here. <br/><br/>Will I visit again? Yes! But I'll be having kebabs for main course as well 😁<br/><br/>

The Great Kabab Factory - Where the Kabab is king, is one of the restaurant located at Radisson Blu.. Can be said their In House Kabab Factory.. Famous for some of the signature dishes and deserts like Subz Galouti Kabab, Tandoori Aloo Chatpate, Gulab Jamun and Paan Ice Cream..<br/><br/>Starting with ambience, small and simple restaurant with some less lights.. Soft instrumental music going on.. Service at its best.. Well trained staff as they were attentive towards table..<br/><br/>Talking about food, they have limited menu but it is also changed over some time of period and that was the good point.. We had some good dishes while my visit to this place with some foodie friends:<br/><br/>Subz Galouti Kabab - Signature dish.. Made with yam and some dal mixed with a perfect mixture of indian spices.. Must try.. Truly this one is Signature Dish.. Served with different chutney..<br/><br/>Chocolate Paneer Tikka - Was expecting something unique but it was less comparatively chocolate and more like only paneer.. Though paneer was too soft and fresh..<br/><br/>Tandoori Aloo - For spicy food lovers.. This one is for you.. Must try.. Loved it..<br/><br/>Apart from this we had Ajwaini Phool & Aloo Chukandari Kabab, both of these were again a good options.. Overall as name suggests, Kabab served over here or Kabab so far I have tried in Ahmedabad, this place serves the best one.. <br/><br/>Sides - Mocktail & Ananas Ki Chaat - I ordered Mint Alaska which was similar to Mint Mojito.. Ananas Ki Chaat was nice to have in sides with kababs and main course..<br/><br/>Main course was having some good dishes like Dal Factory, Vilayati Subz & Paneer Khatta Pyaz but overall it was average one.. May be changing those dishes can work out or adding some unique dishes to this combination of menu can also work out.. Needs some improvement..<br/><br/>Gulab Jamun - It was single piece of Gulab Jamun but was too good.. Proper softness and proper sweetness.. Also it was hot and nothing can be better then this.. <br/><br/>Coconut Kala Jamun - Again good option for deserts..<br/><br/>Moong Dal Halwa - Not a big fan of it so just tried one spoon..<br/><br/>Paan Ice Cream - Truly amazing.. Very few places in Ahmedabad serve this type of variety and it is worth to try here.. Was almost full so didn't had another one.. <br/><br/>Presentations were nicely done.. Overall this place is one of the best for kabab lovers.. And I guess you should certainly give a try to have their signature dishes once as they are worth to have..

This one is a late post. I visited The Great Kebab Factory for a buffet dinner with my son. The restaurant has a sit down buffet. Dim lights, cozy seating and a quiet ambience makes this a great fine dine choice with family. The staff is very courteous and the service is excellent. <br/>The dinner begins with a serving of salad with vegetables and fruits served with a strawberry chutney. My little one loved this and licked it off the plate thrice. Then was a samosa chat with tamarind chutney which satisfied my chaat cravings to quite an extent but since the samosa was not hot, i would have liked a spoonful or two of dahi over it. <br/>For the starters we were served the gilawati kebab over a small parantha. Great starter. Reminded me of Tunday ke kebab. The other starters were the chicken tikka, fish fry and muttonseekh kebab. All of them were served hot and were tasty. The fish fry became my little boy's favourite. <br/> The main course had mutton biryani and chicken korma with bread of our choice. Main course was as good as the starters. For desserts, they served us the moong dal halwa, burfi, paan flavoured ice cream and gulab jamun. The ice cream was the winner which had the most authentic taste. A great meal and complete value for money. <br/> Must try for kebab and biryani lovers.

One of yhe best kebab places in the city. Had their standard kebab platter. The dahi kebab just melts in your mouth and the hara bara is amazing too. The main course can be improved. <br/>Overall great place.

Giving an extra .5 for quality of people! <br/><br/>I chose to have dinner here one day during my recent stay in this hotel as I really like to have the grilled stuff! The food at this brand is always good! I have never had a bad meal. The options may be limited but whatever you may have is amazing. <br/><br/>I am especially thankful to the staff who were really willing to go out of their way to get me something from the menu which was not part of the set menu and did not charge me extra for the same. This really was a class apart!

This restaurant definitely serves the best kebabs in town! Each dish is perfectly cooked with the right amount of spices infused. Have been to this place multiple times and we always opt for the standard unlimited kebabs options. <br/><br/>My favorites are the fish and veg galouti kebab. The Galouti literally melts in your mouth. The drinks and the main course could be improved. <br/><br/>Ambience is nice and the staff is very well trained and courteous.

Amazing food and ambience! Went there for my birthday and it was totally worth it! 💯 authentic veg and non-veg kebabs, biryani and chaat. Will visit again soon

Visited for a celebratory dinner with family. The restaurant is located in the Raddison Blue hotel, and the decor theme is blue. And blue being my favorite color, I loved the ambiance. The collage of palaces/ forts in the accent wall, the dim blue lights and the chandelier gave it the royal look feat for the Kings. Live music was playing in the background to set the mood . And to our surprise, the whole restaurant was empty, and we were the only guests.<br/><br/>They have set menu for every evening which they serve on the table. We opted for 2 veg and 1 non veg options. Our server was very helping and courteous. He started serving us with Salads and raw fruits, four different types of chutneys and then followed the plethora of kebabs.<br/><br/>The veg menu featured Galouti kebab, faladhari kebab, matar ki tikki, paneer tikka, Grilled potato, Grilled cauliflower. Now I hardly like kebabs but these were all delicious. Galautis were melt in the mouth and I couldn't stop helping myself with second serving. Non veg menu had many interesting choices which my carnivores companions gorged to their heart's content.<br/><br/>By the time we were finished with kebabs, we were too full to have main course. The main course had limited choices, mutter paneer, mix veg sabji, daal tadka, and daal makhni, along with pulao, raita and choice of breads. The non veg menu had option of all the veg choices, methi chicken, and gosht biriyani. Out of which I only ate daal makhni. The flavors were on the spot, and it tasted delicious.<br/><br/>Then came the desserts. Hot hot Mung daal halwa, stuffed gulab jamuns, and chilled mango firani and Paan flavored ice cream. Loved all of them. And polished them all off despite the already full tummy 🙈😂 The meal ended with 2 types of Paan, and 4 types of traditional Indian mouth fresheners.<br/><br/>I'd say this is a must try place for all the carnivore foodies while their vegetarian companions can enjoy their meal too. Will definitely visit again when the weather is cooler, to enjoy the kebabs.<br/>

One of the best kebabs I ever had. Especially fallout I kebabs. It is quite heavy on pocket but the authentic taste of non veg kebabs are equivalent to the cost. A must visit for non veg lovers. The ambience was also a la grande. The sitar and tabla artists entertained us well. Himgauri Chaudhari

Lovely ambiance. Not crowded. Amazing service as expected. The kebabs are out of the world especially the Galouti which comes accompanied by a short bread (mini naan/roti). They also had like 3-4 biryanis in the mains - some festival going on - most of them were par or above par. The desserts were good especially the pan ice cream!

While the variety in the seated buffet is notice worthy, the food leaves a little to be desired, especially as compared to The Kebab Factory Outlets in other cities. The drinks are magnificent and super, super tasty<br/><br/>The kebabs are slightly dry and the service is average. But the food over all is decent. The desserts and the drinks are the prize takers in the meal.

Fantastic dining experience. There is a set menu of various types of Indian chicken and lamb with veg and non-veg options. Live traditional Indian musicians playing whilst you eat. Service was great and the overall dining experience was unique. Highly recommended if you enjoy Indian non-veg cuisine.

This place is awesome. I can only rate it 5 because it is not possible to beyond 5. This place deserves a higher than "5 rating".   There is a choice of two restaurants at this hotel. I was determined to check out the Kabab Factory and boy was I rewarded. <br/><br/>I chose the non veg option; From the starters to the main course every thing was simply fantastic.  There were many starters served which were simply out of this world.  My wife chose the veg option and according to her that was great too.<br/><br/>The restaurant itself is very good too with live music and good decor.

I was here for a post-Christmas dinner with friends (and seniors) from the office. It had been on my wish list for a long time now, so I am finally, jubilant to be writing this review.<br/>First Impressions<br/>The hotel is very easy to find, even for someone who is here in Ahmedabad for the very first time. Initially, the hotel building can seem a little belittling. However, the facade and the foyer is not as grand as they would believe you to be, far less space outside the building. There were blue Christmas decorations in the foyer, which added to the overly blue theme of the hotel. The restaurant is on the first floor; however, they do not call it the first floor - they call it the R floor - whatever that means. The interior of the restaurant is blue, a slight overkill according to my perception. Apart from the blue colour, the décor seems to be done in a classy way.<br/>Ambience – Can make you feel like a Smurf<br/>The high ceilings give away an air of spaciousness and grandeur, and the solid wooden chairs and tables only add to it. The restaurant is large enough not to overhear conversations of the people sitting on the tables nearby; however, this is just my opinion, because when we were there to eat, there was no one else so that I wouldn’t know for sure. The lighting perfectly complements the colour and the interior décor – neither too bright nor too dim – just the way they should be.<br/>The Food – The reason I am anywhere<br/>I don’t remember a lot of fancy names (It seems that I am at that age now), but I remember one – Galouti Kebab – the reason we were there. Although, I have never had first-hand experience of eating Galouti kebab where one should eat it – Lucknow, but I liked this pretty well. It was an absolute delight, the moment you placed it in the mouth; it would melt right away. Even the other starters were great, especially the BBQed Paneer, the fish, and the lamb chop. The main course wasn’t as interesting as the starters – but it was pretty decent. The garlic naan was great, and the curries tasted pretty mild – no extremes in taste. The Dal Makhani was pretty decent, though, although not even near close to the best one I’ve had in Ahmedabad. The Biryani was just out of the world amazing. The Biryani was perfectly cooked, and all the spices that are added just for the smell were not present to ruin the taste. I could daresay that this is one of the best Biryani that I’ve had in a long time. Even the desserts were delectable, for a change.<br/>The Service – the only disappointment<br/>The host was quite hesitant when I walked in and told that I had a booking for five people. I would agree that it was pretty late, but then, we’d informed in advance that we were running late. It wasn’t so late that we’d went after their closing time – we were there about half an hour before. Even the waiters weren’t so enthusiastic and bright – it seemed as if they were obliging us by serving the food. The service was a certain disappointment to an otherwise very pleasant dinner.

Visited The Great Kabab Factory - Radisson Blu, Ahmedabad for Sunday brunch with hope of finest kababs, specially keeping in mind price tag of 2k+ for two person buffet. We entered for Sunday brunch at 12:45 pm, and restaurant was empty - no customer. We ordered for buffet, which was served on table. Service was good but food was awful. Was very disappointed, as none of the items served were fresh, except naan. We felt as if they picked up kababs and curries from dinner previous night, heat it in over and served to us. Even veg curry was not fresh. Such a waste of money and time....Would never ever ever ever visit this place of any of Kabab Factory again...I wish there was option for ZERO rating on Zomato... I hope The Great Kabab Factory - Radisson Blu Ahmedabad management is reading feedback...

To All My Zomatoans,<br/><br/>May The Year 2017 Bring for You<br/>Happiness, Success filled with Peace,<br/>Hope & Togetherness of your Family & Friends.<br/>Wishing You a *HAPPY NEW YEAR 2017*<br/><br/>What a great way to start my new year by writing a review. I have absolutely started loving this; however, it is increasing becoming difficult to find the time.<br/><br/>Okay, 1st day of the Year which makes it so important to have a GREAT lunch, but couldn't decide whether to go to The Great Kebab Factory or Dravida coz both the places are serving special brunch to usher in the New Year and since it was getting late and TGKF is near to where we stay, we went to the same and it was a great decision. Dravida's serving veg as well as non veg thali and somehow I had missef the Onam Sadhiya, so I was missing something close to my heart. Oh, those magnificent Appams 😚.<br/><br/>To get into the festive spirit, the hotel has done an incredible job by making a wonderful Christmas Tree and a snow covered cottage and you do feel the holiday vibe but knowing that tomorrow is a Monday, the first working day of the year, didn't last long. The restaurant is beautiful and the theme colour is blue. As you enter, on the left hand side is a beautiful picture of Shah Jahan looking so lovingly at Mumtaz Mahal as if she is only one he sees and the symbol of eternal love, The TAJ is seen in the background. The ceiling is high and beautifully done in blue, i guess it represents the sky and the chandelier is in shape of the Sun. Comfortable chairs and sofas, large wall to wall glass panel on one side with filmsy blue curtains, specially designed tableware all add to the fine dining experience. Live soft music and unobtrusive service sets you up for a great experience. Yes, TGKF provides an Experience.<br/><br/>Moving on to Food, absolutely great. Just want to give a tip, if you are in a group, order veg as well as non veg coz you can get to taste both and also, just skip the Chaat and stuff. Really appreciated that the server didn't mind and why would they, we were there to eat and they to serve. We started with the veg and non veg Galauti kebab which were amazingly mouth watering and melt in your mouth. Next was Bhatti ka Murg which is actually Chicken Tikka, now these were not any run-of-the-mill tikka, very tasty, juicy, succulent, rightly spiced and expertly prepared in a tandoor. By far the best chicken tikka I had. Beautiful. Murg Zaitun Seekh were mildly flavoured and so tender but didn't had any olive flavour or pieces, ditto for Mahi Shammi Kebab which is Fish Shammi Kebab were nice but just didn't taste of Fish at all. Tandoori Prawns were very fresh, tender, nice and crispy. Another chicken kebab we had but can't remember the name, it was Chicken minced stuffed kebab, so flavourful and tender. Next had the veg kebabs, Soya Shammi Kebab was the best, also, the grilled pineapple had a unique sweet and sour taste to it beside being served piping hot. The only starter I didn't like was the lamp Chops coz the quantity of raw papaya used to tenderise the Chops were too much and too strong, hence the same overpowered the Chops. Secondly the khada masala was a tad too much. What I appreciate is that they used natural tenderiser and not otherwise. For mains, absolutely loved the Mutton Kashmiri dish, don't remember the name. Succulent lamb in white cashew sauce had the most refined and luxurious taste. Masterfully prepared and went so well with the laccha paratha. Another honourable mention would be of the Dum Biryani; flagrant rice, tender meat, authentic taste, just perfect.<br/><br/>For desert we had the most amazing, rich Kesar Pista Phirni and Moong Dal Halwa. Wow, what a great way to end your meal or should I say, Thank You Lord for such an amazing first meal of the year.<br/><br/>P.S- This year let's party hard, work Harder, and love and take care of our Parents, Hardest.<br/><br/>Why is it that we see a Family at a restaurant enjoying dinner sans thier folks? Why? In 2017, let's change that and let's take our folks everywhere we go like they did when we were kids. Amen to That. What say you?😀<br/><br/>

We had our New Year eve dinner here, and what a mistake that was. The food was served cold. By the time we got our breads, the sabzis had gone even colder. The kababs were too spicy. I cannot even compliment a single thing. <br/>Bad food<br/>Bad service<br/>Not expected from Radisson.
Praveer Verma
Yesterday, I hosted a dinner with family and friends. Non Vegetarian Meal was way off. They had ran out of good pieces of Mutton, Chicken dishes were ok. Fish was too oily, not expected from Radisson. <br/><br/>Vegetarian Meal was "OK", too spicy for people around. They never served "Dal Factory", a highly recommended dish. <br/><br/>Salad served was Botchy, fruits and vegetables were randomly size cut.<br/> <br/>Good thing was fried dry Moong dal as salad along with various chutneys.<br/><br/>Overall experience was not good, as we realized, the server / waiter missed some dishes from the menu.
The Chef From India
What a place! Loved the decor and the ambience. Really quite and the sounds of the water fountain in the background were lovely. What I loved the most was the live tabla and saurangi jugalbandi. So subtle and so mellow. Perfect mood setting and lovely lighting. The menu is short and does not include any drinks or soups. Straightaway starters which were so succulent and melt in the mouth. Absolutely divine kebabs that justify the name of the restaurant. The main course too was par excellence. All the non vegetarian dishes were cooked to perfection. I know a lot of people who prefer chicken over lamb for the sole reason that we don't get good lamb in our restaurants here in ahmedabad. But this place will change your mind about that. Whole 360 at that. Be it lamb kebabs or chops or laal maas, everything is spot on! Even the veg dishes with paneer or veg galoauti were very good. The desserts were something else all together. Be it the phirni or ice cream or badam halwa, it was all wonderful. After a long long time found a place that serves perfectly cooked dishes from the start to the end, that taste like a piece of heaven. Maybe you'll feel that this guy is exaggerating and maybe I had a really lucky day, but that's the truth in all of it. Lovely place. :)

Not a good experience for me visiting this place.. the name 'the great kabab factory' do not justify the kababs they serve.. they are quite average... My one chicken kabab was dry and not that flavourful and chicken tikka was under done. Shammi kabab was brittle. Needs major improvement

We visited The Kebab Factory on 19th of this month with friends on the occasion of Karvachauth. The experience was incredibly pathetic. Although we have been there earlier thrice and we enjoyed the food and service but 1 year later when we visit now we found everything has drastically gone bad particularly the service. We were starving as it was a fast all day and the staff made sure that we starve more. It was so bad that they never asked us once what to serve and whether we need repeat...everytime we had to ask for repeats not once but thrice. Veg starters tasted good but non veg was pathetic as told by other friends. They had only 1 non veg main course and a super salty non veg Biryani. Veg main course had only 2 Vegs with same gravy. Desserts were a wait for life. Despite my friend complaining about the service they took 17 mins to serve dessert which were lying right next to our table. We were shocked to see the non apologetic behaviour and service. We would not ever recommend this place to anyone in future! Non kids friendly was another thing... We asked for regular paneer tikka for kids and they chose not to reply! Overall never forgiveable experience!

Kebab mein haddi a rather common phrase we hear for someone whose third wheeling, well in reference to the restaurant here, they serve some of the best possible varieties from Subz Galouti, bhattey ke kabab to lazeez paneer tikka item. Dohra khumb the mushroom cheese deep fry is another lip smaking dish. The Vegetarian as well the Non Vegetarian options both are appetizing and each dish is flavoursome and exceptionally made to satiate your best needs. If you are a meat lover this place is indeed a treat for your cravings: the lamb, minced chicken and fish is their speciality!
Sireesha Nambigari
Amazing place to satisfy your craving for non-veg food. Though I'm not a big fan of lamb meat, this place made me change my opinions. The galouti kabab & lagan ki chop made me say a new story for my meat liking. The food just melts in your mouth while you savor all the delicacies with an awed mind. Every kabab served there was without exception outstanding.  This place is a true delight for all non-vegetarians. <br/>Biryani in the main course is worth a mention. The starters were so soul-filling that I just skipped the other items in the main course. <br/>Sadly desserts didn't match up to the grandeur of the starters. Desserts were a bit of a turn off. If desserts were improved, this place would give a tough competition to BBQ nation or any classic buffets <br/>But overall the experience was amazing. Their ambiance is calm & quiet  to have peaceful & deep conversations over food with your loved ones. <br/>Cheers & Happy dining

I have been there for a buffet lunch.<br/>Not much varieties on table in Vegan.<br/>But those all were really have a great taste.<br/>Main course as usual, starters were nice.<br/>
Ananya Ray
Went for a sunday lunch. They do not have buffet exactly, it is unlimited lunch, served at the table. The Starters were way better than Bar B Q Nation's but the dessert section seriously lacked in variety, specially for a Rs1000+ meal. At lunch, no live music also. almost crowd-less. You wont get a feel of a grand feast at all. Ambiance is ohkey-ish. For a 5 star hotel , I expected more in grandeur and presentation.<br/><br/>Food quality was great though. Main course sucked as usual. I have no idea why can't anyone serve an authentic and good Biryani prep with a complementing chicken recipe. Anyway. Not worth 1000 bucks .but starters were lip smacking...

Gr8 ! gr8  is the word that comes out for the The kebab factory... food was awesome, service was really good ... Pretty over priced 1200 per head ...

This place is very near to my room at Ambawadi. Kabab lovers u will die out of the taste. It's a very nice place. I have been to this with my group of friends. Enjoyed the nonveg kabab. Look wise the place is very attractive. And food is awesome.. I really wanna recommend it for nonvegiterian _ Kabab lovers..

Oh kabab lovers , this place is for you ! I don't like kabab so much but I encouraged myself and gave it a try . Few of them were tasty like really tasty but as the portion turns out to be more than I can have . They serve both veg and non veg . Ambience was cool , not well lit . The service was good . But somehow I was not satisfied as I found it bit pricey .

The main course gravy was fairly decent.<br/><br/>There was a lot of delay in service towards the middle when the breads were being served, inspite of the restaurant just being at half capacity.<br/><br/>Superb tandoori preparations with <br/><br/>Absolutely Bad Bad Bad biryani that I don't even want to talk about <br/><br/>Kabab lovers once visit this place.....little bit overpriced.......

I had been to this place when I was in Ahmadabad on a business trip. I opted for veg kebabs which were really delicious. The non veg kebabs ordered by my colleague were equally tasty. Good service, cordial staff & a pleasant ambience. Overall really good!!!

I bet that they are having the best kebabs in ahmedabad.I simply luvd it :)..The whole menu is awesome. And ambience is also just perfect.:)Galauti kebab & malai tikka are too gud.I ate 4 peices of each. But biryani is not good in taste.Otherwise except biryani everything is above good. :)

Went to the Great Kabab Factory with a couple of friends last night. The place definitely offers some really yummy kababs. The subz galauti kabab and arbi ke kabab stole the show for me. Overall the starters were extremely well prepared. I was a little disappointed with the pace of service considering the fact that the restaurant did not have many guests to serve. Main course lacks variety and wasn't as good as the starters. The desserts especially Gulab Jamuns and Pan ice cream were really good. Overall would not want to give this place a VFM tag.<br/>I am not too sure of visiting this place again but if I do then it will be only for the starters.

The word pathetic comes to mind when I recall of my dinner in the great kebab factory.. It should be named "not so great kebab factory" . First of all let me tell you that I am from Lucknow, and thus raised amongst mouth watering non veg outlets. U can take a 100 rupee note there and have a better meal than what they serve here. And to add to the absurdness, they served me tinde ki subzi in the veg buffet. Seriously , first restaurant in my life where I saw tinde ki subzi. Kept laughing as they kept bringing the buffet items. Go to juhapura, or to Ramada (sigri) for a much better non veg experience.

All the starters here were really really nice, i particularly liked the mutton chaanp and galaouti kabab, really tender meat and cooked to perfection.<br/>The main course gravy was fairly decent.<br/>There was a lot of delay in service towards the middle when the breads were being served, inspite of the restaurant just being at half capacity.<br/>The Biryani didn't look or taste like biryani at all, not impressive at all, not well cooked, the rice was sticky.<br/>The desserts were really nice the gajar ka halwa, the kheer and especially the paan ice cream was pretty good.<br/>Overall a decent experience, the only thing that would compel me to visit again will be the starters.

It's happening place to have unlimited food ..spent quality time with friends at great kebab factory...we had Galouti kebab, <br/>mutton chap, <br/>chicken sheek kebab ,<br/>Fish amritsari,<br/>Malai tikka,<br/>Tangdi kebab <br/>Superb tandoori preparations with <br/>Absolutely Bad Bad Bad biryani that I don't even want to talk about :( but The dessert section was the show stopper & surprised us again with awesome quality 👍👍👍👍<br/>We all had <br/>Gajar ka halwa <br/>Kheer & <br/>Pan icecream <br/>Guys ...they have different selections of menu every day , so hopefully next visit would be better

And this place has the best kind- different kind- the most amazing kebabs and Punjabi Food. Their buffet which I had tried was amazing and the quality- A+ honestly. A must visit to this brand.

The Great Kebab Factory is one place in Ahmedabad that comes closest to serving the most authentic kebabs. I have tried all their food festivals apart from their usual menu and I can gurantee you that you wouldn't find any other restaurant in Ahmedabad that serves food that is so rich in flavours! <br/><br/>Be it their Peshawari or Hyderabadi or Afghani food festivals, the permutation, combination of the traditional spices and saffron seems perfect. The food can get slightly heavy and spicy at times. <br/><br/>You can't miss the first succelent galouti kebab- this kebab supposed to be had with tamarind chutney. Please do ask for Shirmal and Bakharkhani at THE GREAT KEBAB FACTORY. <br/><br/>Hats off to Parvez and Team for maintaining high standards and for serving rich and royal cuisine!
