we had baby shower function celebrated there recently. awesome food. great choice in menu and staff explained everything properly. polite & supportive staff. spacious banquet. parking available.

Nice place to book events like Engagement Ceremony, Baby Shower, Family Get together etc. I believe it has a capacity of approx 250 to 300 people at a same time to attend the event. The ambience of the banquet hall makes one feel rich and good colour combination used to decor. Toilets are hygenic. Food taste is good with amazing quality. However, I found that decor people are miser, as they use the same kind of Flash Tags in every event and if kids play with it, they use to shout on them, which I personally feel is wrong, rest very nice place with ample free parking in basement. Rated 4 * for the above point

This Banquet is in the Acropolis mall near thaltej. Very nice banquet with a Greatt Ambience and also very spacious. Very nice and accurate staff with good service. The food quality and taste are also very good. My personal favourite item is the Crispy Veg. Starter. It has eye catching chandeliers too.

Everything about this place gives u a larger than life appeal on the first go. Absolutely stunning interiors...crystal studded chandeliers, massive tables, subtle lighting. The menu in sumptuous, there is so much of variety..you can't wait to dig in. We had ordered the regular lunch consisting of soup, two starters, two vegetables, rice dal, naan..the usual food. But the flavours were so refreshing, I felt like I am eating some rare delicacies. The prices are good. Totally worth it. I would recommend it for a date, a get together or a family dinner.

This place is awesome. You'll fall in love with the ambience. Food is very good. Price is also low.

Food was OK.... Ambiance was good... Light music kept playing.... Making environment pleasant.... Had signature lunch worth 314(299 + gst)... Good.... But in summer, one can't eat much.... Mostly rely on Buttermilk and icecream... Can come with family and even for corporate lunch...

We went there with our 10+ Member's group. Food quality for the unlimited menu was good. You can give 4 out of 5 for that apart from this staff and place was really awesome.

I went there in the birthday party of my niece. Location of this banquet is very prime and clearly visible from Thaltej cross roads inside the Acropolis. They have multiple packages for banquet hall functions. The ambience was very enlightening. Each and every food items starting from starter/mocktails to desserts, everything was delicious.

Multiple times i have visited both the banquets under the banner of 440 in Acropolis mall The ambiance is always lovely and good decor in different parties . Other good aspect is ample parking at the basement for guests. Food is good. sometimes I found artificial color added in food. But overall good experience.

Worst experience ever at 440 Banquets & Restaurant. Quality of food is substandard and when asked for a desert we were served ice cream with paper . I will never advise anyone to visit this place...Bad hygiene and experience...we have encountered such poor experience not once but twice.

Well i was there for my son's birthday celebrations. It was great experience otherwise always i have to face so many problems with servicing in many reatuarents. With 440 they provide us great service on time n quality food with good pricing.

I have been here yesterday with my family and loved the punjabi food. Its really very tasty. The Nargisi Kofta were very tasty and all our family members liked it, overall also the other sabjis we order were very tasty and naan was very soft in comparison to other hotels. Its a very good place for Punjabi lovers. Ambience is also very nice and decent. You should visit this place.

Hearing and reading about the rave reviews that this place has, we decided to head here for throwing a farewell party for our colleagues.<br/><br/>But oh boy! I was in for a surprise tonight.<br/><br/>Not only the food was a disgrace to my taste buds but it was humiliating because we had to leave the food and head out empty stomachs.<br/><br/>First up, we ordered hot and sour soup which was just a mix of vegetables without any taste. Totally bland. We let this pass thinking that this might be a one time thing.<br/>Secondly we ordered starters which were totally overcooked beyond the point of eating. They were totally charred and black soot covered it all.<br/><br/>Anyway we headed for main course with a vegetable preparation and the briyani was utter disgrace.<br/>I really don't know how this place has such a high rating. Please take corrective actions.<br/><br/>One thing is for sure, this restaurant has lost some customers permanently today.

During the most recent visit, I finally managed to spare some time off from socialising and made an effort to take a few food pics for the review! <br/><br/>So, here's all I tried: <br/><br/>Broccoli Almond Soup: This was out of this world and lip smacking delicious! The last time I had a bowl of nice almond broccoli soup was months ago at Fern! This one was the next best. Must try totally! <br/><br/>Palak Chilli Starter: It looked all green-y and a little weird at first sight. But a friend loved it, and this gave me some courage to try it out. To my surprise, it was a unique and interesting starter. Basically potato fries rolled in palak, soft to look at but absolutely crunchy on the inside! Another must try dish! <br/><br/>Chinese Samosa: It was average and failed to taste great. But no complains because there were a lot of better things that left me wanting for more. <br/><br/>Three Bean Salad: Don't fancy beans a lot, hence found this average again. <br/><br/>Herbed Penne Salad: Somehow they weren't able to do justice to the Italian cuisine. Pasta was another not too good good item. <br/><br/>Golden Cruze: This one was another unique dish I enjoyed to the core! A little sweet but super creamy and cheesy, with bits of pineapple in it, it was outstanding in a way! <br/><br/>Amazing Lasagna: And sadly again, they weren't able to do justice to yet another Italian dish. It was average and nothing close to authentic taste. <br/><br/>Panner Mumtaj: I am usually not a fan of panner preparations but this was one mind blowing. I totally loved it. Shredded panner in a red brown gravy tasted lovely. Must try I'd say! <br/><br/>Dal Fry with Jeera Rice: Well I ain't a fan of dal rice so didn't quiet like this one. <br/><br/>Bhindi Masala: It was good next to the panner dish. Though nothing exceptional about it but tasted well. <br/><br/>Gulab Jamun: It was a little above average dessert, not overly sweet. But at the same time it didn't really have khoya in it. Can't complain, my expectations are always on a higher end! <br/><br/>Jodhpuri Dahi Vada Chat: Being a punjabi, there is no way I don't love chat. We can literally have it any hour of the day and whatever version you give us. But the one they prepared here was a perfect one! Sweet tamarind sauce, cute, with green chutney, well balanced with the dahi bhallas! This place has been one of my favorites since long. Amazing ambience, very bright with great lighting! The food adds to the charm of the place.<br/>I have had all sorts of food here. I have tried their fixed lunch, a la carte and I have enjoyed both immensely.<br/>The crispy vegetables and black daal available here are to die for!<br/>The service is good, but could be a notch higher!<br/>

A place with amazing ambience and great food. We tried cheese butter masala, butter kulcha, butter naan, rotis, mix grilled sizzler and nachos. The quantity of nachos was quite disappointing else everything tasted amazing and the quantity was sufficient. The cost is also affordable according to the quality, quantity, taste.

Truly modern and luxurious ambiance. We ordered hot and sour soup which was really spicy and yet delicious. Veg-65, chilli paneer, aloo bharwa were divinely tasty. Mexican tacos is a must try dish if you visit here. Gulab jamoon were small in size but delicious. Staff was ready but too serious. Smiles are needed in their faces, as it can be a game changer. Overall is a great place with tasty food along with comfortable ambiance, and pocket friendly prices.

The interiors are amazing, it is very spacious and gives you a sense of personal space as the tables are not very close. But the food is surely not upto the mark! Taste is ordinary and nothing that makes one feel that he has to go again.

Yes, this place definitely has a grand ambience . A very sophisticated place with a very well mannered staff. The seating area is really very good and food was also up to the mark. The menu had a wide variety to offer but sadly could try only some of those .

We went there on 16.06.17 for dinner. It was my son's birthday. Kids were going all over the place, running and shouting. But the staff was courteous and handled the kids well. Food was excellent but for one thing. One of the guests had stone in hot and sour soup. We had gone for lunch and we went for unlimited lunch. The soup was too good... The starter was vert nice.... The taste of sabzis were also nice.... The Roti was a bit hard... the dal tadka was very delicious... the rice was also awesome... Entered about 1:30 pm, place was mostly empty, we have to wait because one of my friend was coming, meanwhile we landed on couch at waiting area no one offered us a glass of water even though it was 42° C outside, Disappointed here. Somehow we managed to settle at 2 pm, and ordered unlimited for three, they include a full meal soup to desert, with 2 starters and baked dish, sweet and ice cream both that is very often and buttermilk too which is also not common, everything about food was just at its best! accompanied by their gentle and polite staff even though their closing time is 2:30 pm we were there till 3:15 pm and they were not in hurry like other restaurants. Best place for unlimited Punjabi in decent budget price. Would have given 5 stars if they served a glass of water to their customers in waiting lounge atleast in this Summer of AHMEDABAD.

It was just close to the main door, very disturbing place and once the door open i, i have to close the door for get out side from the table so...<br/><br/>Food was pathetic, I don't no why but i tried 440 earlier and it was good, but this time big disappointment.<br/><br/>Starter Veg. 6 was good but quite bitter at the end.<br/><br/>Cheese Butter Masala was just out of the taste cheese was not melting and chef for got to add salt.<br/>Only Butter naan was good but the Sabji was yukkk..<br/>First time i realize that i waste my money.<br/><br/>not proper service, its not good that i have stop eating and  calling waiter over and over again..not accepted from your level of Restaurant.<br/>Otherwise ambiance was good except my place of seating.

Exceptional ambience. Once you enter, you get a different feeling. But gets too noisy at times, and breaks the fun of the first feel. Great starters. I loved the manchurian and spring rolls. The soup too was not too watery. Good sabji's. Once the butter roti got cold, it then just became really chewy. Good service too.<br/>They could really do good if they could work on the minor issues.

The place is simple, decent ambience and a comfortable place with a good taste food and proper service, this what you required for a satisfying dinner with you family or friends. Visited yesterday over here, ambience is killer. they serve buffet at 275 and you can order from menu also. We asked for two buffets and ordered special panner tikka...Thing with dis place is that dey don't follow the pattern I mean first you go for soup, den starters, Den main course and in the end desert. <br/>We were having soup at first and than within few seconds waiter filled our table from starters to desert. We asked him not to do so but he never listened. And everything got cold.<br/>Coming to the quality, among starters only veg Manchurian was worth eating, panner tikka was worst. <br/>The only best dish was, baked Macaroni too good to handle. Main Course was okay....so was the desert.<br/>Ambience is killer and service is okay.

Saturday as always waiting for sometime for good food. Awesome service and to the point menu...good quality food. Always being there for Soups and starters in jain varieties. Taste is good. Stuff Kulcha is also good with Paneer Veg.

Good place to eat north indian food around sg highway, and "in budget" restaurant.

we have taken there unlimited lunch option, the menu was wholesome, but the quality was not great.<br/>the ambiance was good. when we went the restaurant hardly occupied, so the service was good but till we finished our lunch it was full and was waiting outside and then came the real testing of the service level and there they where not up to the mark.

Average food quality. Average ambience and relatively expensive. Further, the seating arrangement is the one that lets you down the most. Hygiene was good. Overall not so great experience and definitely not recommend it.

Ordered unlimited meal which was as under:<br/>Manchow soup:   Satisfactory<br/>Corn tikki and Veg 65:   Tasty<br/>Baked macroni:   Okayish<br/>Veg Kadai and Paneer takatak:   Awsome<br/>Gulab jamun:   Mouth watering<br/>Butter milk: Okayish<br/>Plain roti & butter nan:   Satisfactory<br/>Jeera rice & daal fry:   Tasty<br/>Ice cream:   Good.<br/>The other options like green salad and rosted papad were up to the mark and the service as well as ambience  was too good..

Awesome ambience n food... They serve platters... That is also wow... So many options available for unlimited food.. Food taste is good... Quality is also good...

Staff and service.. Perfect till you place order but was not attentive once order was served.. <br/><br/>Talking about food.. Nothing extra ordinary as compare to other punjabi restaurants but one good point is number of varieties they offer.. Overall average experience and can be given a single try to this place.. ​

Superb. Its ambience is great and so is food. They have unlimited lunch and fixed lunch. Its price efficient plus quantity and quality both is very good. They even provide unlimited buttermilk in lunch pack. That is really best. Its fun family joint.

The places offers standard Vegetarian food, nothing extraordinary but just general food. The staff is not well trained and more of some chaalu restaurant. The place was not very clean..but always full of people doing roaring business.<br/><br/>Sitting space is not well managed and too many tables gives congested experience. Acoustics not done well and as a result the place is too noisy

I had attended a party there . The starters were good but the sitting arrangement was quite uncomfortable . All in all a good place but they should maintain the over all cleanliness .

I'd been here thrice but yesterday was the worst experience... Food and service was undoubtedly delicious.. But when came to pay, I gave debit card for payment.. After few minutes they came to My table and asked for pin but der was an error.. Then they told me to reception counter And asked to enter the pin but it didn't respond.. The receptionist very rudely told me that it's not working. Pay via cash..I told him this is really disappointing.. But he continued talking me.rudely.. The place is big and ambience is fairly nice. The plus point is welcoming of staff, Staff welcomes you heartily. The seats and chairs are comforting to sit on. The skills of serving and service is satisfying.<br/><br/>When it comes to food the place is fairly good, Not too excellent yet nor too poor. Basically the taste of food is balanced.<br/><br/>To sum it up, Place is a fairly nice place which can help spending time for couple of hours & it can provide new experience.

Good ambiance and good food with quick service at affordable rates . Been here a number of times and have never been disappointed. The taste is ever so consistent and the quality is one of the best. The must have things are Palak chilly and Paneer Tak a Tak.

They offer unlimited lunch and a-la-carte. They offer great menu in the unlimited and the price they charge is more than reasonable compared to what they offer compared to other restaurants. <br/><br/>Unlimited menu comprised of Soup to dessert but it had 2 varieties of starters and dry Manchurian was one of them which on usually do not find in other North Indian unlimited lunch menu. They also serve one baked dish and 2 types of sweet which once again not offered by others. It all cost us 1k for 4 people and it is a great deal in this price.<br/><br/>Taste of the food was also really nice and nothing much different and I did not find any negative thing in their food. So it was all in all very nice lunch we had.<br/><br/>Service of the staff is very good, they are very quick and polite.<br/><br/>This place is highly recommended and must visit once.
