Many famous personalities have been here to enjoy gujarati delicacies. Likewise, they've maintained their standards, which made their legacy throughout the gujarati food enthusiasts till now. Personally, l love their ambience and their seating arrangements. Staff management is very cooperative.

As of 20-12-2023 the price of unlimited Gujarati Thali lunch is Rs 375 per adult. Everything is satisfactory. I found the man at billing counter bit rude for reason only he can explain. There's so much food that most normal people would never be able to eat beyond certain limit.

This time I decided to please myself by going to Gordhan Thal. It is just amazing the taste the hygiene the atmosphere the varieties everything was mouthwatering and just perfect. They also brought a special utensil (lota types) to wash hands on our table. The plates glasses’s everything was authentic and reminded us of our roots !! Apart from this there is a issue for parking if you are bringing four wheeler otherwise it is good. Must visit place if you are new to Ahmedabad!!!!!!

What I love the most about my country is its diversity in food❤️ This is the first restaurant that I had been alone till then. I felt like an alien walking on the earth. People actually looked with weird expressions on. The manager asked me how many were we? I told, "one" He didn't give me any wierd expression but I could say he was confused. I didn't know whether they never had a single customer in their place ever.<br/><br/>Staff there treated me like a foreigner who has come to India.<br/><br/>The best part was they explained each and every dish on the plate so well that I could enjoy the food even more.<br/><br/>I can never forget the taste and it still lingers and my taste buds crave for more gujarati thalis. I was never fond of Gujarati food before but as I say "Eat where the dish is born" I loved every tiny bit of it!

The food is lip smacking and the staff is really welcoming and courteous. They will make sure you never fall short of food, will always ensure you get what you want within seconds and also will force you eat an extra dessert or two. 100% recommend to those not from Ahmedabad and also to those who belong here but haven’t tried this place out!

The service is lightening quick, they start filling up your thali as soon you give them the green signal.<br/><br/>Of all the items, we absolutely loved the cream fruit salad, imarthi (they called it jalebi for some reason).<br/><br/>They’ve a huge variety, you even get to have some South Indian items on the menu, you can do a refill as much as you want to. The taste is genuine, the place gives you a homely feeling.<br/><br/>I would highly recommend to try it if you’re in the city. Definitely it is best amongst places for Gujrati food. I must say from ambiance to taste they have justified each and every single aspect. Food is yum. They have mini meal combos as well. We went here on weekend for lunch and had to wait for Atleast 35 mins they have waiting lobby inside as well as waiting area outside where we seated on charpai! They serve you water which is obviously needed when u wait for so long in sun for food... but trust me all the hype all the wait is totally worth it! The ambience is kinda nice and traditional! As u get seated they offer a hand-wash! They start serving you and you might be amazed by the varieties of food they offer in thali right from farsan to desert and drink like chaas! There is not single dish in plate wasn't good! I loved samosa and moong dal ka halwa...i 'm not a big fan of dessert but halwai was just mouth melting and delicious! The service is quick the staff roams with varieties of dishes in hand serving them from this table to that but everything goes smooth without husle and bustle!<br/>I would definitely visit this place totally worth money and time! During my office trip to Ahmedabad, my colleague has taken me to Gordhan thaal which is a famous restaurant to serve thalis with unlimited food. There were 9-10 items including deserts and one could have unlimited quantity with a fixed price. Authentic Gujarati thali. Loved it.

Gordhan thaal, well a nicely done place with all sort of haveli kinda looks and the entire theme is all gujarati as they tend to serve only gujarati thaalis. Well they are good at their job, the service is perfect. Staff is really polite and friendly, and they tend to make you feel like a king by offering you food in every 1-2 minutes and eventually you will end up eating alot. The thaal has tremendous variety, and all the offering changes as per the season. We went in summer and i gotta tell you this that i had more than 7-8 bowls of Aamras, which tasted superb. The place is good and offers only gujarati food so not everyone will like it but yes those who are fond of gujju food, they must pay a visit.

Management is very pathetic. We are based out of Mumbai, had come to Ahmedabad for some work. We had called the restaurant at 2.30 and told that can we visit the restaurant and will be reaching by 3.00. due to traffic we reached the restaurant at 3.03 p.m. ( closing time is 3.00p.m.) and were denied to enter the restaurant. Inspite of multiple requests the manager denied with arrogance and with reply that the food is over but had you come before 3.00 food was available. Disgusting experience. No comments on food.

It was a wonderful experience. I thought I will have to wait but immediately got the table. Now ambience is good but a bit noisy as it is always full with people. Food is really good . Sweet offered were good, farsan was perfect. Overall it was really nice. I will surely recommend. Service is also good. Now if suggestions are accepted then will suggest for some interesting mukhwas ,it will be really appreciated by ppl. Overall good experience.

The food was fantastically amazing lipsmaking!!! The samosa were very tasty, vedhami was yummmyyy overall everything was very tasty, would order again!

you should send the food in the restaurant's name box....as it is packed in a ordinary box it is difficult for us to make sure that it is yours food.
