I have been eating at Honest since 1987 so it was a nostalgic visit for me this time. We just landed there without any prior plans as I wanted to have their Pulav which I miss always. We also tried the Sarson ka Saag with Makke ki Roti. Overall excellent choice. Must say that they have maintained the taste & quality from 35 years ago as I remembered.

Pretty decent multicuisine restro. They serve Punjabi,chinese,south indian,pav bhaji ,pulav And snacks. Though the Punjabi nd chinese needs a bit improvement..but the pav bhaji is just yumm. I absolutely love their Pulao . The staff is polite. Ambience is okayish.

The taste of Punjabi sabzi was quite good, & tandoori rotis also were crispy... The taste of dal fry & jeera rice was also on point... My family went to dine there yesterday and they ordered a dosa and pav bhaji. Dosa batter seemed to be stale and was giving a bitter taste. My mother and few other members of family had food poisoning due to sub standard food. "Honest" slow claps for the name you have given to restaurant. Guys please don't visit this place if you want safety of your family. Worst place ever zero hygiene. Wish I could give negative ratings for this place.

So, it is a place I went after a long time. One of the oldest outlets of Honest. We ordered Mysore Plain dosa, Schezwan noodles, Vanilla milkshake. Everything was too good! The noodles were just like the desi Chinese food we Indians love and the chutney in the Mysore dosa was good too. Service is okayish.

Have been here tonight the plate they have served cleaned with the damp cloth which stinks and unhygienic. Secondly the server serve half of the person and left roti on table we take by our own. Thirdly, his sweat drop is in roti. Honest is now no more honest

Its one of the busiest honest outlet in the city. Very well situated on the C G Road. Had the famous pau bhaji. Taste is good.It is not spacious and vehicle parking is also an issue.

This honest outlet is specially known for it's originality of years. This is oldest one and is usually crowded on any day. Honest is known for it's pavbhaji but somehow for some reason I didn't like . I expected a very different taste and had my standards high but this was way beyond opposite of it. They charge 200 + for each plate atelast but the taste is not even average. I feel now it has lost it's charm and isn't that good anymore. Or the place is hyped. It's Punjabi sabzi also had artificial colors added to that extent that the color didn't go from my hand for next one day . So it says much about the quality .

A friend and I visited Honest for lunch. We opted for a fixed Punjabi thali. It was amazing with perfect quantity of food (neither too much nor too less). It consisted of daal tadka, rice, 2 subjis (paneer and green veg), 3 tandoori rotis, 1pc Gulab Jamoon, raita, papad, and onion. I wish they could include buttermilk to make it perfect. The servant brought second thali after 5 minutes. I suggest to serve all thalis to clients at the same time. My friend was upset with the delay.

I was passing by the shop and saw a poster for Phalsa juice and I had to try it! So we ordered: 1) Grilled Vegetable Cheese Sandwich: 4/5. Good amounts of cheese and nice grill but more vegetables needed 2) Grilled Aloo Mattar Cheese: 3/5. I did not particularly enjoy the Aloo Mattar filling 3) Idli Sambhar: 3/5. While the Idli was soft the Sambhar was cold and not very tasty 4) Phalsa Juice: 4/5. I am a Phalsa fan and I could certainly taste fresh phalsa. It was not very sweet. So over all liked it a lot!

This iconic restaurant is like the McDonalds of Ahmedabad with a branch every 500 metres. My first visit was decent but I found the pav bhaji to be too overrated. I tried visiting other locations but I literally walked in and left before ordering. I went in to wash my hands and it was absolutely abominable. This chain of restaurants needs some serious management to rectify the hygiene and cleanliness which is lacking. It’s a rule of thumb that if a restaurant’s washroom is filthy that you probably shouldn’t be eating there. I cannot even imagine what state the kitchen must be in after I nearly vomited from the smelly dirty washroom. I hope this review is taken positively as constructive criticism. I had heard of people raving to me personal stories of the man who started this chain from the day he opened his first restaurant. I really was looking forward to a lot more so I could share a great experience with my social media followers.

Recently visited this place. Honest is already famous in town for their ".Bhaji Pav". And it's my favourite place too for Bhaji pav. We tried, 1.) Bhaji Pav 5/5 2.) Cheese Bhaji Pav 4.5/5 3.) Rava Masala Dosa 3.5/5 4.) Panipuri 4/5 5.) Sarso di sabji & makhe di roti 4/5 They also Serve many other dishes like Dosa, Punjabi, Sandwiches, Pizza etc Their pani Puri is also good. And recently tried their Sarso di sabji and Makhe di Roti and it was really damn good. Must try 👌 3🌟 is only based on ambiance otherwise they deserve more.

Have been to many Honest Outlets over the years. But this one @ C.G. Road seems to be the best of all (specially taste wise) Their Veg Pulav is the best across all their outlets that I’ve been. Recently had tried their “Chur Chur Nan with Dal Makhani Combo” which I loved it. Quantity is more then enough and the taste of all the items with the combo is authentic and delicious. The only down side I feel this place has is the sitting arrangement and its interiors which they seem to have kept very very Basic. Lastly it is certainly cost effective considering it’s location and the service is also quick. Taste: 4.5 Ambience: 2.5 Pricing: 3.5 Service: 4.5

I feel, gone are the days when Honest, CG Road used to be an amazing restaurant. It feels sad to see a place where I spent my childhood eating & enjoying meals is now deteriorating its class & services. The last visit made me feel like I was at a local Dhaba. The plates and cutlery was too old which left stains at the bottom of the bowl and plates. I wish I had clicked some pictures to showcase the same. No doubt the food has been good but such kind of service is not expected out of such a big name. If you guys really care to retain your customers, please do something about the details mentioned above.

Honest is the only brand which varies in taste as per their outlets. All outlets will offer you different pav bhaji. 🤫 Talking about this outlet experience was mixed. I tried pav bhaji, pulav, dosa, punjabi, baked macaroni pineapple almost everything over there. Taste was okay but main thing comes to my mind is that do they serve fresh? Disappointed from HONEST PACHVATI Found DEAD FRIED HOUSE FLY I am from one of those Amdavadi who loves Honest's Pavbhaji at any time .... I also love Honest's 2/3 outlets as they are making Pav bhaji as per your order. If you say no Chilli powder than they will make it exactly the same like very blend in taste. In Gujarat We can say "Moli"... Yesterday again late night I visited Honest Panchavti Circle (White House) . We had ordered two Pav bhajis one is regular and other was No chilli. We had served the exactly what we had ordered and service was also prompt. But When I finished my half Pav I had found "DEAD FRIED HOUSE FLY" and it ruined my mood... 😡😤 The manager quickly came and offered me another dish or settlement in a bill. I said not to have any dish and at last he only charged for one Pav bhaji. Issue is if they are charging 190/- per Pavbhaji at least they must keep checking your Hygiene and Serving!!!!! Else kya fayda 190/₹ deme ka!!! 😦😡

Soo was with a client and had to no other option but to visit this place else as per my last review of prahladnagar branch won’t ever step in honest But here the experience was different It was comparatively good than the prahladnagar branch We ordered some pani puri and pav bhaji regular in butter and other in olive oil I guess my pav bhaji regular was far better than olive oil pav bhaji and even my pav bhaji was cheaper 😂 a joke But seriously it was a bad taste of olive oil bhaji may be it’s good for health and costly but as i am food addict i like spicy and tasty things soo i prefer and suggest regular bhaji with butter and not olive oil and all Dont forget to try pani puri over here.

Went there last night by around 11:45 pm by that time only south indian, sandwich and other fast foods are the only available items. We ordered pav bhaji, masala dosa and club grilled sandwich Pav bhaji: nice in taste. Club grill sandwich: very less filling, very dry and thick bread. Masala dosa: nice in taste. Sambhar: horrible in taste, without salt and spices. Overall: Prices are comparatively less, taste was okayish. Ambiance is very very simple. Service was quick.
