Very delicious food served here. If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine it's very close to it. There staff is very nice and welcoming. There service is very fast and good. Must visit place best staff i have ever seen in Ahmedabad restaurant.

This is such an authetic Italian place in Ahemedabad that it will give any good eatery in Rome a run for its money. Started by a mother son duo the team here has been very thoughtful in their design and ambience, flavor of the food, ingredients used and most importantly the love and care in treating their guests. The vegan / plant based cheese used is so good that one cannot notice any difference with the regular cheese. A must go place if you are in Ahmedabad and are craving for some Italian food.

This place is serving delicious deserts. Cheese cakes are yum. Pizza breads are really soft and fresh backed. Quantity is less with compare to price in some cases. It would cost 750 per person approx. Ambience is good. Staff and service is good. Overall feedback is good and you should visit at least one time. Taste of dishes are balanced, not too much spicy and flat.

Never had this delicacy of pizza in Ahmedabad... For me now it's Sale & Pepe for pizza in Ahmedabad, must visit once if looking for Authentic pizzas and even more to explore in the restaurant. For me Pesto pizza was great... Hope you'll enjoy

I went here for dinner with my family to try some Italian food, and it didn't fail for it, There is open kitchen you can check your food is cooking. I ordered here lasagna and pizza. Lasagna taste was good but they didn't serve garlic bread with that, it is disappointed for me otherwise pizza was very good, to eat pizza you have to fold it as Italian people prefer it.

Best place to get the experience of real soft pizza in Ahmedabad. Food, Service and Ambience everything is very perfect, with the open kitchen as a cherry on top. Also the base and toppings were fresh and delicious. As per the food the prices are ok too.

Went with my friend and ordered the classic margarita pizza, spaghetti arrabiata and tiramisu.Best pizza I had in a while. Without a doubt the best thincrust pizza you will find in ahmedabad. Also, it was not heavy like most of the pizza in city. Spaghetti was amazing too. Loved it. Ambience was great and so was food. It's time to add this to your list too if you like Italian food. On bad side it only has pizzas, pastas, desserts and beverages all Italian style. So, if you are a group of friends with different tastes in food then go to other place. But I would suggest to at least try pizza, pasta and Tiramisu once.

Lovely food and interiors! They have an open kitchen. Food tasted good, prices are a little above average. Pasta costs around ₹400-500 and pizzas 12" ₹600 onwards. Below in picture: 1. Mushroom Ravioli in Pink Sauce (Tastes amazing) Parking is available in front of the complex. Sufficient seating space, well-ventilated. Staff wears masks, practices utmost hygiene and they have quick service.

Amazing food. Quick service. Best Neapolitan style pizza in the city with perfect charr from the wood fired oven and perfect base. Pesto pasta recommended. ( Picture below) Primo pizza recommended Ambience is minimalistic . Open kitchen with wood fired oven is eye catching. It's a bit expensive but every penny is worth it.

We dined here to try Italian food, mainly pizzas and pasta. We ordered Mushroom soup and Roasted bell pepper soup and both were delicious. For pastas we ordered Penne in white Alfredo sauce and Penne Arrabiata. Nice posh restaurant and a bit on the pricey side but worth a visit. Recommend!

A Mother (Vira Vora) - Son (Pratik Vora) duo from Kolkata has come up with various outlets of Sale & Pepe , Restorante Italiano across Ahmedabad – Pure Veg & Typical Italian restaurant (all the dishes are also available for the Jain people as well) We visited Thaltej outlet. Ambiance – Spacious and amazing décor giving u an essence of Italy. Staff – courteous and responsive As entered, we came across a shelf of Cheese; huge wood fired oven at one end; paintings all over giving an atmosphere of being present in Italy. Food – Typical Italian taste. It’s a must visit place for the food lovers in Ahmedabad. They use 100% organic products along with 00-flour (very less gluten content) and thus it’s a treat for health conscious as well as foodie people without much compromising on the diet. Pizzas – hand tossed pizza, cooked in mango wood fired oven. Its bit large in size then normal average pizza size and the most interesting part is here we need to eat it typically by folding it which is the actual way… We tried couple of pizzas topped with perfect portion of veggies and cheese. Simply “Buono”!!! Pasta & Lasagne were really hot, cheesy and simply “gustoso”!!! Quantity served will definitely serve 3-4 people at a time. On personal request I also had a round of their kitchen and frankly speaking they strictly maintain the hygiene and cleanliness level to the top. They also have many options in Soup; Salad; and other Small Plates/Starters. Though we didn’t tried as were more focused in main course and got almost full. Don’t make it too full as the desserts here are not to miss. Desserts – EGGLESS Tiramisu; Cheese cake; Panna Cotta; Mousse…. What else u need…. Nobody can differentiate that they are completely eggless. Just a single word “delizioso”!!! On a price front will cost ~Rs. 1000-1500 for two person but each penny is worth spending. Would prefer to visit in a group so that one can try varieties from all sections. This is also one of the favorite restaurant for many renowned Gujarati Artists/Actors/Actresses & international tourists.

Absolutely delicious food! We ordered Three cheese pesto pizza and Smoked peprika fettuccine in pasta. Both dishes were the best you could get in Ahmedabad! Service is also good. However, the ambiance could be better. But I can visit again & again for food alone!

Aglio Olio Spaghetti was average, do not try the sweet potato ravioli. Pizza was well made. Staff was kind enough to replace the ravioli with the pizza however the serving was bad as they simply came and put the plate on the table.

I love everything on the menu! I am so glad it has the Elderberry drink as a part of its menu. I had that drink in Italy and never thought i did find one in Gujarat or anywhere in India. The pizza's look as authentic as in Italy and so does the taste. I am happy they have not added any Indian masalas in it but purely the Italian sauces and herbs. The decor on the table is cute and ambience is great too! The desserts are very different than other restaurants so Thank God! They are unique and never had before ones. I was soo excited when I ordered from here, but my worst nightmare came true. The pizza was absolutely soggy, rubbery and tasteless. It was like a naan bread with too much Garlic. I couldn't even finish the whole thing.<br/><br/>The soup was decent, but I did expect better.

One of the top notch italian resturants in the city. <br/>We ordered the florentine, margarita and diavlo pizza. It had an amazin base and great taste. But you skip on the margarita and go for another one. <br/>For small bites, we ordered the truffle parmesean fries and focaccia bread and dip. The dips were AMAZING! Best in class bread! <br/>Then we ordered two spaghettis, both of them were fantastic! <br/>Th best part was the pesto! <br/>Unfortunately they ran out of dessert so we didn’t get to try the panna cotta! 🙁 <br/>But i love this resturant and highly recommend it

Last month I was in Ahmedabad and this place was recommended by a friend. 1st of all I was impressed by the name of the restaurant it's sound so Italian. <br/>The ambience was so classy and lovely, with a comfortable sitting area. <br/>The staff was very friendly and helpful.<br/><br/>Let's talk about food.<br/>1st I decided to order a coffee so I choose a cafe latte which was the most amazing coffee I had in Ahmedabad.<br/><br/>When it comes to the Italian food we quickly go to the pizzas section of the menu right?<br/>So 1st I ordered a cottage cheese pizza if you love the soft base pizza believe me this is the best place for you. The pizza was nice n soft, it just melts in the mouth. <br/><br/>Lasagna:- it was amazing I love love loved it. Worth trying<br/><br/>Mushroom Ravioli:- I am a mushroom lover so it was a great treat for me. Wanted to try this place for long time due to my fascination with pizzas...<br/>Finally went there today and ordered a 9inch Florentine pizza plus gnocchi in lemon butter sauce. No words to describe pizza...light and airy just the way Neapolitan pizza should be...light on the stomach and flavours were awesome... Gnocchi was great too..no complaints.<br/>Icing on the cake was the Panna cotta... perfectly wobbly with one of the best burnt caramel sauce i ve ever had.<br/>Overall a beautiful experience... can't wait to go there again.

One of the rare restaurants serving authentic Italian food. Everyone may not like the authentic Italian taste but I really loved it. I had never had such tasty spaghetti. We were in group of six. The service was pretty fast. We also tried their Roasted Veggies Pizza and it was superb.   Please remember its Fold and Eat pizza. True Italian style. <br/>In dessert, we tried the Panna Cotta and it melted in our mouth.<br/><br/>The ambiance is also amazing. I totally recommend it.!

The Mushroom Ravioli is excellent in Red Sauce. But if you dont like veggies, tell them each pasta without the veggies.<br/><br/>The house foccasia is also equally good.<br/><br/>Bruchestta is a little on the sweet side, not sure why the tomatoes are sweetish. Also had the Penne arrabiata, but it pales in comparison to the ravioli.<br/><br/>Mushroom Rissotto and the Arancini Balls are a must have!<br/><br/>Lovely ambience but must reach early on a weekend as it packs out. The owner is very sweet. I went there on my birthday and we had ordered a bit too much. When we tried to cancel the last bit of the order, we got to know that it was already ready and about to be brought to the table. I was in a dilemma about what to do then and the owner was sweet enough to still cancel the order for me. Not many restaurants do that. So I found that worth a review.

We arrived at 6.30pm & were the only ones in the restaurant. We had heard a lot about this place. We ordered for Antipasti platter, Cafe Mocha & Kombucha. The entire platter was too salty. We had asked if the had Kombucha before ordering it & they said. We could see in the fridge as well. The platter took atleast 30mins, Kombucha wasn't served till we got the bill which is when we reminded them. They have a fancy espresso machine but didn't have milk so no coffee either. We left disappointed & don't think will return back.

This place has realy good authentic wood fired pizzas.<br/>We went here seeing their pizza photos which looked so good on Zomato, and they did not disappoint. Though we found their pasta to be even better than the pizza (we ordered parma rosa pasta, which is pink sauce).<br/>Ordered their melon drink too, and that is a must try, it has a rather interesting flavour that I’m sure is not available everywhere. <br/>The ambience is decent too, it has a lot of space and a nice pretty pink wall where we got lots of nice pictures.

I recently visited this much hyped pizza place of Ahmedabad. The moment I entered there, I fell in love with the ambience. It is so classy and elegant. Loved it. <br/>Coming to food, I had Cottage Cheese Pizza.<br/>This pizza had paneer, mozzarella, corn, capsicum and jalapeños. It was baked to perfection and so so delicious. A must try for those who love spicy pizzas. Although we found it a bit pricey. Definitely going there again to try their Margarita and Pesto pizza.

THE BEST place in Ahmedabad for Italian food. Every dish that we tasted was full of flavours. The perfect balance of sweet and sour and spicy. The tiramisu was just ok. But the Bruschetta, Gnocchi, Ravioli and Espresso were superb. A delightful dining experience with lovely ambience and very good service.

We celebrated the new year by eating out at this place and we weren't disappointed. I will rate this place in my top 5 places to have pizza in Ahmedabad. The pizza's are really well made. The toppings are generous and the taste authentic. If you want to have genuine Italian Pizza's than this the place to go to in Ahmedabad. Will recommend the place any given day!

Been at Sal y pepe (Salt and Pepper), for the 2nd time. Pizza Marguerita with Bufalo cheese is a masterpiece which I haven’t tasted anywhere in Ahmedabad yet. Other pizzas are good too. A superb place, with great ambiance. On entering, the staff make you feel very welcome. The place is run by a wonderful hostess and her son. The latter offered some great suggestions, seeing that we were going for the first time. We started with the soups - red bell pepper and tomato. They were excellent, fresh and very flavorful. Serving sizes were decent. That was followed by the ravioli with sweet potato in brown garlic sauce, which was really good. The texture was really good and the stuffing virtually melted in the mouth. The gnocchi too was great, with the roasted garlic being the highlight. Starter in the form of stuffed risotto balls were awesome - the cheese and pesto stuffing was fresh and the sauce was fresh, with a basil leaf. Highlight was the two pizzas - Funghi with a variety of mushrooms, drizzled with truffle oil and Florentine with my favorite Feta cheese. The strawberry balsamic ice cream was different with a different feel and the Panna Cotta too was good, with the cranberry sides. I realized that the restaurant doesn't skimp on the quality and quantity of the ingredients, which is reflected in the taste. The management also bore the cost of the Panna Cotta, as we were celebrating my daughter's birthday. All in all, an awesome place, keep up the great work!!

Because they use the "00" Flour, specifically used for pizza or pasta making.<br/>Ambience- There are two parts of the same restaurant side by side. The larger part was full so we got a place in the next room. The ambience is very beautiful and pleasing to the eye.<br/>Service- The staff is very polite and helpful.<br/>Food- I ordered<br/>Arancini with Marinara-<br/>Arancini are the balls made with rissoto and cheese on a bed of their classic but amazing marinara sauce.
