Ambience is great. Food is good. Service is slow during peak time. You have to wait for long time during weekend and Public Holidays. Tables are too close to each other. The place is too noisy. You can visit this place if you just want to have good food.

Very nice experience. The atmosphere was good and family-friendly. The main thing is the test of food.. Non veg lovers from Ahmedabad must come here. We tried malai sikh kebab, pahari Tikka, etc. Chicken parotha is a specialty here.

Please hesitate from trying "chicken garma garam", its just tomato puree with few pieces! One can try chicken kheema paratha

I know simran farm since a last decade. Always serve delicious food. Renovation of the place and choices of tables are really comfortable if you come with enfant. Good thing is even at entrance they have kept some fun point for kids. Good initiative. Food is great. Little spicy. So when you order mention it. Their butter garlic prawns 🍤 are great. One should try.

The food is good. The staff is also good. One thing which I don't like about the restaurant is they don't allow to you to go on first floor if your group has only males. 🤨

Not bad not soo good. As limited seating options. Order taking guy was also not very friendly. Not explaining and suggesting anything. We tried Pahadi Tikka, sheekh kabab, Chiken tufani, Garlic naan. Everything was soo delicious. Value for money.

This place was recommended to my by many of my non veg lover friends so I had to try it out. It's a huge place and yet so crowded that we had to wait for our turn on a weekday for dinner. But I'll have to say that it was worth the wait! We ordered manchow soup, clear soup, french fries, nonveg platter, butter chicken, cheese garlic naan (it was soo cheesy) and roti. And wow! I was in love. It's hard to find good places in Ahmedabad that server good quality non veg food. So if you're a non veg lover, i highly recommend this place to you.

The food at this place is awesome! It's also priced decently compared to the food quality. Even though the restaurant was crowded, we got our food quite quickly. The staff is very nice and give you good suggestions. We tried the chicken sizzler, chicken biryani, Kesari Chicken, Mojito, Blue lagoon and Pina colada. All of these except the pina colada were awesome (couldn't taste the coconut in this at all).

Surprised to find good non vegetarian place in Ahmedabad. Wide options of non veg food. Good chicken and mutton dishes. It may be spicy for some people, so better ask the staff before you order.

Today we chose this place as our dinner outlet. It was first experience here for me. And it was really great. Seating was good. Staff members are very kind and responsive. So much food varieties to choose. It was little bit costlier but when you go for quantity and quality then you should not worry about price. Taste matters to everyone. And this place is right choice. I went at this place with my wife today to try a new place for dine out. Now talking about this restaurant, it was partially good. Some dishes were very tasty but other was bad. So we ordered Fish masala boneless, rumali roti, chicken dum biryani.<br/>Fish masala boneless was very good in taste. It was far better than any other restaurant i i have tried before.<br/>Rumali roti was average. Size of roti was good but it was quite thicker than authentic rumali roti.<br/>Chicken dum biryani was extremely disapointment. It was not tasting like biryani at all. More than biryani, i will call it steamed rice served with chicken pieces. Quantity was also very much less.<br/>Ambience was average. They have normal chairs and table with plastic cover in it like any roadside hotel but ambience was not bothering me much as it was clean and hygienic.<br/>So if you want to eat good non veg food except biryani then it's a good place.

It was my celeberation time so had ordered fish tandoori, biryani, chicken stuffed, chicken tikka. The taste was yummilicious. Being far away from my place still made it a point to enjoy the delicacy. I really loved it and I even guarantee the non veg lover will do the same .<br/>Staffs were very co operative. Simran is a decent budget place. I ordered Murg Pahadi Tikka, Fish Pesto and Chicken Sheekh kebab. First two starters were good but Chicken sheekh kebab were not fresh. They used frozen readymate kebabs. For Main course, i had Bheja fry, Fish Masala, Chicken Amrin, Chicken toofan, jeera rice and egg biryani. Everything was good, we liked it

Worst experience of service.<br/><br/>Just visited today 31st August 2019.<br/><br/>Starting from water: We had been asked for type of water we need before ordering the food and I replied mineral, the waiter put 4 glasses among us (7 people) and there was no water bottle. I asked for 3 times then the waiter gave remaining glasses and water bottle in the middle of the meal.<br/><br/>The next was "Items availability": As two of us were vegetarian so we need to order for them as well. The restaurant did not have Paneer, so no Paneer item was available. Further we asked for Manchurian as a starter for veg people, still the same answer not available.<br/><br/>Even at 9:30 pm we have ordered Chicken Biriyani and they said it is not available, you needed to order it before 10 mins, very irresponsible answer as how can somebody know the main attraction of the restaurant is in limited quantity, we need to order it before it will be over.<br/><br/>The last is finger bowl: They gave us when we asked for 2 times and after our finger became dry due to waiting period of 15 mins. We entered in the restaurant at 9 pm and left at around 10:30 pm where the eating time was hardly 30 mins and other 1 hour is for waiting. You guys ruined my prestige as I had brought people from Prahladnagar to Hansol by saying the food and service would be awesome but faced completely opposite. Even manager was literally ignoring the people and was very busy on telephone.<br/>

Simran farms is a meat lover's paradise.<br/>Dishes I would recommend highly are:<br/><br/>Fish and chips. It's a classic English eat out, but the fish was so fresh and tender. Must try!<br/><br/>In the main course, murg mussallam was amazing and could be paired beautifully woth their soft roomali roti.<br/><br/>Earlier I was judging this place by it's ambience but then I was proved wrong by it's food! Yesterday we went to Simran Hansol for dinner... Expected the food to be of standard level, but unfortunately our experience was very disturbing.<br/>We ordered chi tikka dry but what we got was quite different but was good.<br/>Next item was chi chilly dry.... the quality of chicken used was very bad in taste it was smelling foul.... how can chicken in one item is okay and other dist it smell so bad that it is difficult to eat.<br/>Then was the turn of chi hungama gravy, chicken in this dish was also smelling foul.<br/>Our dinner was spoiled<br/>We expected them to be sorry but they were arrogant and forget sorry they were arguing.<br/>Basically they were not interested in customer satisfaction.

Simran is my go to place for the damn good non-veg food. Well reaching Simran can be a bit of a tough task but if you gotta a group then your drive will be sorted too. We have been here quite alot of times and this place never turn us down. At times there is crazy waiting time, but the food makes it all worth it. We love the tandoori chicken they serve, normal, pahadi and couple others varieties, this has to be in everyone's order. Also the chicken lollipops served with schezwan sauce are just phenomenal, they at time have BOGO over this which makes it even better. The menu is full of veg, non-veg. and Chinese dishes and you can explore any part of it and this place will not let you down.

Simran the garden restaurant having the open environment and outside sitting arrangement as we choose to have.<br/>We ordered tandoori chicken, chicken Biryani , mutton Rogan Josh tandoori roti and manchurian fried rice. Simran, name is enough to get your mouth watering. I never miss a chance to visit this place. Specially while accessing the airport this is must stop place. A hopping mutton/ chicken frankie is just enough to make your day. Apart, a full course meal is multiple times a month here. Do try this place.

Best place to eat non veg food. Prompt service fresh food and friendly staff. Butter chicken, Bombay chops, chicken Biryani and roomali roti are the best. If u like spicy try the pahadi tandoori grilled to perfection.

Very good ambience, delicious food & mocktails.<br/>Tried Murg tangdi, Fish pesto & mutton khima rice along with Pina Colada mocktail. "Fish Pesto" was really yummy fish coated with green masala with enough quantity for two persons. You can blindly order this dish, believe me you won't regret it. Pina colada was surprisingly economical in cost and it too tasted great.Murg tangdi was good but mutton khima rice disappointed me. All I can say, I will definitely visit you soon "Simran".

Had a good dinner at this restaurant. Food was quite a good and quality was great. We had chicken tandoori, mutton chops and bhejafry and i can happily say that the dishes were perfectly cooked and we loved it. Also they provided a good waiting area where fire was there to make ourselves warm. Obviously in winter we all love to eat meat 😅

It is my go to hotel for non veg.. Chilly chicken, chicken lollypop, chicken 65 are absolutely delicious. Also chicken tikka and chicken rolls are worth a try. Chicken sandwich was okayish. Dint really like the sheekh kebab. But overall a nice experience. Though the service is bad.

According to me the best place to have authentic lip smacking non veg in Ahmedabad. Have been going to this place since last 15 years and they have maintained the standard of their taste till now. Almost tried every dish in the menu. Will highly recommend murgh mussallam and mutton rogan Josh.

Orderd Chicken Leg Masala, Chicken Tandoori Banjara, Chicken Biryani and Chicken Lollypop.<br/><br/>Chicken Leg Masala was average as gravy did not taste perticularly fresh, was a bit sweet and chicken leg pieces too, were not cooked properly.<br/><br/>Chicken Tandoori Banjara was cooked to perfection and tasted good with salad. It was a bit spicy though.<br/><br/>Chicken Birayni missed the mark as the dish was full of (plain) rice and there was no sign of veggies, chicken and gravy. Was surprised to know that this place does not serve raita with Biryani!!<br/><br/>Chicken Lollypop was the best dish we ordered. Was very crispy and served hot with Schezwan sauce. Simply yum.<br/><br/>Could have been a better experience had we visited the place on a weekday as this place is rushed on weekends. Will take some time to make another visit.

I am a regular customer at Simran since school days (Almost 15 years). They have evolved and expanded a lot but the taste remains unmatched till today. They have a number of good dishes to offer and my favorite is Murgh Mussallam.

This place has some crazy food for the meat lovers! It's located a little further from the airport, and is a small place and doesn't deliver much on ambience. <br/><br/>But the food is what everyone comes here for, and rightfully so. The Mughlai Biryaani had the best chicken, cooked really well, and the Biryaani was well seasoned and a real upgrade from Sahi/Sabar food; but at a similar price. Pictured here is the butter chicken and roomali roti: the butter chicken is the best I've had in Ahmedabad. This place is great for you if you have meat cravings and want a quick but tasty fix.

A famous and affordable place in Ahmedabad near airport. I visited here quite a times. One thing that remains constant in my order is #ShikariTandoori This is a chicken dish where chilli flakes on the top of it makes it super spicy. Scrumptious. So FZ kept expectations low. <br/><br/>Simran Farm near the Ahmedabad airport is well known for its Mughlai and Tawa food. It’s chicken, mutton and seafood dishes are heaven for a meat lover. Its at quite a distance from the city centre, near the airport, still, on a midweek evening, it was packed to the rafters. There was waiting for patrons for a good 20-30 minutes, which in itself speaks volumes for the restaurant. The decor is simplistic, utilitarian even.. the furniture basic.. nothing to write home about. It’s actually just about the food:)<br/><br/>The gang was boisterous and it was decided to go the whole hog. The starters include the usual suspects - a whole variety of tandoori chicken, fish prawns and mutton. The traditional tandoori chicken, prawns and fish pakoras were tried as starters. Excellent fare. The spices and marination just right, the chicken, soft, juicy, succulent, well roasted. The prawns a dream, the fish pakoras, melt in the mouth! FZ salivating even whilst keying in:) slurp...<br/><br/>The main course options include tawa and standard Mughlai. Tawa was zeroed in on. Bheja fry, what else:), mutton chaap with Roomali roti and then a mutton biryani to top it all up!<br/><br/>Excellent bheja fry with the perfect spice combination, superb mutton with a great gravy and roomali rotis like nylon. So good were mains coupled with the starters that all the guys really struggled when we finally got to the biryani. The biryani was deadly too but our tummies gave up!!<br/><br/>Full marks! <br/><br/>Excellent food at very reasonable prices. Would give a 4.5 if it were possible. Marks lost just for ambience which is a bit run down.<br/><br/>Cheers!

Had Biryani here several times and also Chicken Tikka Masala. Biryani is Tasty but not as great compared to Hyderabadi Biryani, this is the best place in Ahmedabad where you can have non veg especially biryani and all. If you willing to taste what biryani taste like this is the place where you can have normal taste of biryani.

After going through the reviews and most of them positive, I decided to visit this restaurant. We had ordered Pahadi Murgh Tikka, Murgh Tangdi, Mutton Rogan Josh, Eggs Kheema and Rumaali Roti. I would say both the chicken items were not up to the mark. It tasted like it was not fresh ones. Eggs Kheema was average. Coming to Mutton Rogan Josh it was Superb! Also the Rumaali Roti was very good.

They have great egg dishes together with tandoori chicken. Really great nice and greasy. If that’s what you’re after. A stones throw from the airport so great when you just arrive late at night and need to pick up something to eat.

Heard about this place from a friend and was highly recommended. dishes like tandoori chicken and it’s varieties are quite good. Other than that there’s only a few dishes that you will enjoy, selected chicken and mutton dishes,which you can find on Zomato, the things most people generally order, I’d say don’t get too adventurous and order anything blindly as I tried a few times, needless to say was quite disappointed.

A very well know place!<br/>But was the first time i went here yesterday.<br/>Was craving non veg food so much so my friend suggested this place.<br/>We had mutton tandoori, goan fish curry and mutton keema kaleja fry and rumali roti. <br/><br/>I was blown as the first dish came, omg the mutton tandoori was cooked sooooo perfect, i didnt have to put enough effort to eat the, just pressing the finger on the meat made i break apart, and it was sooo juicy and full of spices, loved it, even though i am a bigger fan of chicken. <br/><br/>But the only draw back was that it took around 30 mins for the first dish to come, and we were soooo hungry. <br/><br/>Then came the curries and rumali roti.<br/><br/>The goan curry was totally what i expected, with a tangy taste and a good cooked fresh fish. I had coconut flavour in it, and many coastal spices. Well , it’s a good hotel . It’s been here like forever . Coming from city ... it’s becomes good long drive reaching there . <br/>Don’t expect much from ambience. It’s very normal and small . Even on weekdays you will find waiting . <br/>Food is tasty . Good chicken dishes . I like murg masaallam . <br/>One thing you have to everytime specify them is to make butter Roti lil softer. Otherwise it becomes chewy . <br/>Once in a while it’s a good change from all other non veg punjabi restaurants .

Nice place to be wit friends for a dinner or evening get together in their outdoor seating. Not much of a family place to be. Indoor seating and ambience are not praiseworthy. Staff is not very keen to cater to the customers. Not much in here for sea food lovers though. The prawn chilly dry is a sucker. Don't go for it. The dishes are loaded with oil and spices. There is a que for dinner on weekends, so better be early enough to grab a table. Hygiene is an issue here.

We tried @Simranfarms on Monday and the food was great, freshly cooked very tasty and well presented. The waiters were attentive and service overall was good. They have decorated the restaurant with lights I don't know why but overall a good meal and great value for money

Nice Ambience. Ordered masala papad, chicken lollipop, mutton kheema and butter naan. Masala Papad went soft pretty early. Rest of the food was good. Be sure to order at least one dish from their tawa menu.

Super fast service is their speciality I guess. For starters at the suggestion of the captain we ordered Fish fingers and chips. It was Basha fish fried with brown coating. Found it less tasty. For main course ordered Chicken Toofani, it was a real toofan. Veg Tawa masala was also subtle and tasty.

If you are new to Ahmedabad and staying near Shahibaug then it is worth trying. They have varieties and their non-vegetarian range offers some good options.

The place stands up to it's mark as per the name that's heard in the market. I've been a frequent visitor recently and the food is really good. Have been a fan of the tandoori chicken, also have tried the tandoori fish. I must say never expected to have such fresh fish in Ahmedabad. Also the chicken starters are pretty good. The main course I felt needs a little more cooking. May be leveraging on the Mughlai Style of preparation the chicken feels a little undercooked in the the curry dishes, but still holds good to taste and quality. Place has a really neat and clean environment, not a flashy place but a mid size restaurant with simple cutlery. A must visit place if you are looking for a great non veg treat , also good with veg stuff. Mostly visited for non veg food, but veg is also similarly good.

They are cocking really nice chicken 🍗. Too good. I had chicken leg masala (4 leg piece) with rumali roti. And chicken biryani. That was awesome food. After eating this I felt so good and heavy that I went home and slept. Because that was my heaviest dinner

Excellent North Indian non veg food in a city with very few good options. Both the variants of tandoori chicken we tried were excellent. The Kheema was very good and the boneless chicken gravy was also good.

Love this place. One of the best non veg food restaurant. Butter chicken and rumali roti are my all time favourites. The ambiance is not that great but the staff is really good and decent. Never came back disappointed.

Visited this place with family. Ambience was Okay. Had ordered half tandoori chicken but got leg pieces was not hot at all & there special pan fry fish which was very soft and felt watery. The quantity of veg main course paneer burgi was less. Wont visit this place. <br/>

Simran is nice restaurant to enjoy the non veg food. I tried mallai tikka and chicken pahadi tikka which is perfectly cooked. There service was good and nice cool ambience.<br/>

Non-veg paradise.. I am not rating their non- veg food. According to my non-vegetarian foodie husband who loves his food dripping with oil this place is paradise!<br/><br/>Me and my mum really did not relish the veg fare and were absolutely waiting for the other family members to finish off with their meal so we could escape!! Food was literally and liberally dipped in oil. I saw a few hard-core regular veg customers walk in with their families and ordering their usual with elan. So I guess to each his own. My husband would have rated this place a 3.5..

The best part is it's near the airport , food good I did enjoy the food , ambience is fine as well , staff is good also , if you need to rush to airport or you just arrived you can go to this place , it will b convenient, I tried a lot of things like kheema, naan, chicken lollipop and kababs, their chilly sauce with chicken lollipop did taste good !

Never go for takeaway, very bad experience. There staff is very rude. They take 5 Rs extra for the paper container and i asked how could they, so they replied its like this only u want then take otherwise go. They asked me to get the container from home. Worst experience. Never ever will return to this restaurant.

We buy fish and chicken from here that is always fresh... The restaurant part we have mostly had<br/>takeaways biryani and chicken Tikka they were OK.. Nothing great in taste.. Once we also went to the restaurant for having dinner we had ordered fish pesto, biryani and chicken curry. Fish was good and fresh strong favours of palak was nice to the dish my daughter enjoyed the dish, ambience isnt great. We had sat in the outdoor seating area.. Once when we ordered a take away I was not sure of the quality of food and I had to throw away most of it :/ I am not very sure of the hygiene standards.. But the prices are not very high..

Now this is strictly a non vegeterian place to be !<br/><br/>All the non veg that is butter chicken with naan fish kebabs tasted really good ! The vegeterian Manchurian rice that we ordered tatsed okayish .<br/><br/>The ambience is ordinary , the waiters uninterested and as we enter this place the poultry smell assaults you which is unpleasant. Maybe as a vegetarian I felt it more profoundly, but I'm pretty sure nobody would like to smell the dead chicken before they eat it inside. Visited this place few times since it was very little and serving just outside. That time both service and quality was great and hence very popular amongst foodie community. I and my fiance recently visited this Restaurant, Initially i tried to contact to restaurant on given number at their website but it was not operational, so did the reservation on their website. As it was sunday i wanted to get the table asap.<br/><br/>But when we reached, there wasn't any reservation for us, and they told website reservation don't work!!!!<br/><br/>So, we had to wait for more than half an hour there with a lot of crowd.<br/><br/>Due to crowd, we selected the 1st floor restaurant instead of the garden one.<br/><br/>Food was very good, atmosphere was also pleasant, Service can be much much better.<br/><br/>Will visit with Family soon.

If you are food lover then you must visit this place. When i visited it was sunday so we waited for 30 minutes. We enjoyed a lot with fish finger and chicken shikari. Fish fingure was awesome. Definately i will visit it again.

The weather was pleasant and so we decided on sitting outside. <br/><br/>hot and sour chicken soup : the first thing that hit me was the taste of green chilli. You don't find food joints using green chilli often in Ahmadabad. I loved the fresh flavour of the veggies and chicken. My sore throat can't thank this soup enough ! <br/><br/>Chicken Keema: minced chicken in a spicy gravy loaded with masala. One plate is sufficient for two people. The waiter said it's single serving so we ordered two plates, one of which we had to get packed at the end. Prices are different in both outlets. The quality is good but not great. Chicken amrin and chicken biryani were tasty but not spicy as we mentioned to made it but they did not. Very busy place in weekends and have to wait for 30 to 50 minutes to dine in. Prices are little high but affordable. Recommending for heavy brunch.

Well known restaurant SIMRAN FARM visited last night.this is known for its Delicious food.this time platter was little spicy.gravy item also Delicious. But this time we had wait for our order because of waiter mistake. Other wise overall food was excellent as usual !!!

Ordered a delivery for dinner. It took an hour for the delivery. Food was spicy but tasty. Packaging was also decent enough. However, a good Place to eat

<br/>Heard a lot of about the place and got enticed into trying out the food at simran, but was highly disappointed with the quality. Had ordered for a chicken dish and being a huge organ meats fan had ordered for bheja fry. Neither of them were up to mark, the spices were used excessively which killed the flavour and the cooking fat killed the palate. Food was neither attractive nor tasty and by no way stands up to the hype created about the place.
