Fantastic restaurant with good ambience and good food

A small and quiet place that serves delicious North Indian food. Simply loved the ambience and food. I don't eat non veg but based on my friends' experience, they do serve a good north Indian non veg food which is very rare in Ahmedabad. Given that it's a small restaurant it does get full sooner over the weekend. However one can easily get table during the weekday.

Awesome place, food was good, great ambience

I recently visited this place and i think i shall know enough to write a small review for this place. The food's variety and quality is up to the mark with great service. They have replicated the vibe of Varanasi really well with their culture and dressing of the people there. Even the smallest things there will give you a strong vibe of the actual place which is what they intend to do with this place. The only problem is this place is quite small and the seatings are not that comfortable. This may not be perfect for seniors citizens as it really aches the back if you sit there for more than half an hour. Besides this, it's a solid place and i recommend you to visit it once to feel the great sensation of Varanasi in Ahmedabad!

The place was a perfect balance of ambience and food. Both balanced out the other and gave it a perfect combination. Food: Tasty with the perfect mix of spices and cooked at the best level. Non Veg platter was remarkable and sea food was fresh. A rare sight in Ahmedabad but they did serve the goal. Architecture/ Ambience : The place was well lit and perfect brightness was witnessed. It had a good decor and dark interiors perfectly crafted the lights out. Culture: Staff was friendly and polite and served with excitement. Service didn't lack any character. Feeling of welcoming space was maintained throughout. Travel: Sindhu bhavan road is developing and is convenient to reach in private transport. BRTS and other transport modes can be interchanged. Speciality: Stays true to its name and won't disappoint you hopefully. FACTS Review.

Food's great and ambience is great too

I've never been there but after viewing the price on menu and the ambiance... It is definitely worth giving a try.... The menu is versatile... Serving limited but the best of the region...

My third visit here, each time has been better than the last time. One star held back to see how do they maintain consistency in the food and service going forward, and what improvements do they bring in the menu.

Good northern flavours. Non veg stuff is good. Butter chicken, chicken badam Shorba and Chicken Biryani should be tasted. However qty needs to be verified. Overall a good combination of nice Ambience and taste

Prices are on the high side, ambience is good, they have good options in non-veg. Staff was well behaved but not well aware of the options they have. Overall the place worth visit.

Loved the place and loved the food. Only issue is acoustics. If a noisy group is sitting in restaurant then it can make your experience miserable.

Good Option of Eastern India food, there are not many restaurants in Ahmedabad which offer Eastern India food. The Taste is also good, however there is scope of Improvement.

A good place to hangout with family, friends and others. A restaurant with amazing lighting. Ps: Do not order malai kofta unless you need a desert. :)

Enjoyed with family. Apt place for family dinner time. Would love to visit again and would surely recommend it.for Bengali cuisine lovers.

Food very tasty

Well..I dont know about other dishes..but I ordered "Hydrabadi DUM biryani"..but biryani me koi DUM nai tha. It was loaded with oil...i mean too much oil..so required to replace it.. When it comes to taste..it was also poor to average..not at all testing like Hydrabadi DUM biryani...v can call it FRIED RICE Now if we look at quality...rice they use r the same that v use for chines fried rice... NO long grain basmati rice for biryani they use. Now if we look at quantity it was not enough...in 250 Rs v get Handi heaped with biryani in a restaurant named "Hyderabadi" in front of Cafe MOCHA..n that's too with authentic taste. Now if we talk about environment...then it was also not peaceful as sound of scratching utensils was spreading out of the kitchen n one of the customers complained it several times and finally he stood up n went towards kitchen to ask to stop the noise...n staff was also talking too loudly that we all customer could hear. From the advertisement....I was expecting ..a good food n service..but I m disappoint with it.
