Review Hyderabadi Biryani - Ahmedabad

Mihir Champaneri
🍖🍤 Biryani is a dish that I savor every time I have it. It is a rice-based meal that originated in the Indian subcontinent and spread to other regions through trade and migration. It can be prepared with various spices, such as saffron, cardamom, and cinnamon, that give it a distinctive color and aroma. It can also include different types of meats, such as chicken, lamb, or fish, and vegetables, such as potatoes, carrots, or peas. The ingredients are cooked together in layers, creating a rich and complex flavor. Biryani is a feast for the senses and a delight for the palate. Test is another word that intrigues me. It can mean a trial of one's abilities, such as an exam or a challenge. It can also mean a method of assessment, such as a measurement or a standard. Or it can mean a chemical reaction, such as a litmus test or a pregnancy test. Test is a versatile and useful term that can be applied in many contexts and situations.

Good restaurant with authentic Hyderabadi look. Lots of options are available for veg including biryani. Taste is amazing. But restaurant is not properly maintained and not fully hygienic. However, try atleast once.
Aasif Anwar
BEST ever BIRYANI you can get to eat around Ahmedabad. Not exactly Authentic Hyderabadi Dum Biryani but the taste is very good. The Place is at expensive side.
Ramanjeet Gupta
Not the same as it used to be but .....It's Okay. I prefer to eat Hyderabadi dum biryani chicken here as I think it's the best which is served here. I rate the biryani at 4/5. Though the staff are cordial but the service can be improved and should be improved. Still, the food is good. The restaurant's interiors needs improvement. I have not seen changes in the furniture or walls or sofa since past 4-5 years.

Taste..... I believe this restaurant serves the best authentic Hyderabadi Dum Biryani with all its flavours and aroma..... than any other.Mutton Roganjosh is another my fav here.... But Unfortunately post Covid the restaurant is in bad shape.... needs a renovation on immediate basis...

Not true flavours of Hyderabadi biryani but Food is good. Quality and taste is nice😋 Staff/chef are nobody from Hyderabad or from south. Only chicken items are recommended. chicken tandoori and chicken hundi(chicken boneless biryani) must try here.
Ankur Ranpariya (PAHeartBeat)
Very good food. Restaurants have veg n non veg both options. You must try Veg Dum Biryani and chicken dum Biryani. Staters are ok. You can skip it.
TARINI SHANKAR TRIPATHY
Biriyani quality is good. But little bit expensive as compared to the Hyderabad Hut price.
Arijit Das
Great table service. The manager went around to make sure everything was good and everyone was enjoying their food. They were even suggesting what food would go well with what appetizers and even the follow up beverage was suggested by the team. The team was very welcoming and sweet. Made our lunch time enjoyable.
Shreyal Dhume
Finally a good place to dine-in for non-vegetarian lovers in a veg dominated state and city ❤️ the taste of the food is very good. But definitely on the pricey end. The portions served are barely enough for even 1 person with respect to the prices charged. The taste is however amazing.
MANISH THAKUR
I am first time in hyderabad biryani .Chicken biryani was excellent. Very good service
Charles Thomas
This is by far the worst dum biryani ever had.. Looked like they poured some salan with cooked chicken piece between biryani rice and send it. The whole essence of Dum mutilated in the best form. The order punched in at 1:48 and at 2.35 when I check with the rider I came to know they just started preparing the order. Anyway I am not the type who comes heavy on service.. But definitely cannot excuse the food.

I recommend this place for biryanis.. Superb decoration very attractive..Very nice behavior of staffs.. Surely visit there...#Hydrabadibiryani

Very disappointed . I had ordered 03 Hyderabadi Dum Biryanis. I had specifically added my request to reduce salt in it. However it was salty, not properly cooked, no taste. This is not Hyderbabi Biryani at all. Everyone in my family said that the Biryani was not good. We used to frequent this restaurant quite often about 6 to 7 years ago, but have stopped because of inconsistency in the food quality.

Had gone there for lunch.
Was not at all happy coz when ever I go there n order Chicken Tandoori or Fish item it's not available.😔😔😔
Had gone there at 1:45pm that was the lunch time still menu not available .
So ordered Chicken 65 and Chicken Chilli . Was surprised to see that the taste of both the menu were duplicate same only in chicken 65 they used curry leaves. 🤔🤔😔😔😔

Not at all happy .Sorry for that.

Hyderabad Biryani which i used to luv going there would be happy to see if they follow the list of menu written on their menu card so that i can enjoy their delicacies.😊😊

Located on the first floor, the ambience of this place was amazing! It has the old traditional feel as you enter, with sofas on one side and normal seating in the other.
Went here for dinner. Tried the Hyderabadi Subz Biriyani! The basmati rice was very well cooked and the vegetables were fresh and tasty. Also had the Chaas and papad, and both were ordinary.
The biggest problem is the waiting time and service in this restaurant. Food takes a lot of time to arrive, and the patience is dwindling as you wait for your order to arrive.
The quantity of the biriyani was pretty good and serves 2 people.
Overall, this place can be avoided!

okay. not as expected. food lacks flavour. service was slow due to some reasons. saw at least 4 take aways being delivered before my order getting served. also, the south indian meal was not available. I hate it when things written on the menu are not actually available.
Rajesh Choudhury
Well located, service is good but food quality not up to the mark. They are serving flavoured rice with chilly powder cooked chicken in the name of Biriyani..watery raita
Uma
Very nice but you can make it little spice
Nihar Ranjan Sarkar
Horrible food, dull ambience ,dirty tables ;everything and inefficient service .can’t believe that this is the same place where we had best food (biryani) in the town, waste of time and money we spoiled our evening
Umakant Khirao
My all time favorite biryani hotel. Bas membership hi Baki hai 😁😂 everything is gr8 here. Good Mahol testy biryani n your dost.highly recommend
Jaswinder Kaur
The staff of the place is very rude. The compimentary served raita is 80% water. Waiter has more attitude than the manager (not really a manager) food is not spicy as a non veg should be. Overall experience is not satisfied
Shreyasinha1902
I never had such a bad briyani before this. Chicken piece inside that was stale having very bad taste. Ordered from hydrabadi briyani from my past experience with them but I
am totally disappointed and decided not to order or enter in that restaurant. Very Very BAD. There must be some negative rating parameters also.

I have been to Hyderabadi Biryani quite a few times. My favorite dishes are hyderabadi chicken masala and garlic Naan. Only authentic and delicious biryani you can get in ahmedabad. Periods

Top class food quality. Spaced out seating arrangements. Authentic and delicious Hyderabadi food. Parking during weekends can be a challenge.
Recommended to visit during weekdays
Foram Sheth
This is not the place I have thought. The ambience is also at all as expected. The food taste was good but too spicy. The place is not for Only Vegeterian guys. The biryani is not as Hyderabad as I have been to Paradise Hotel at Hyderabad and the taste is not at all similar to that one.
Kakoli Patnaik
Very poor service. The amount of biryani has also reduced and the quality isn't as good as it used to be earlier. The waiters didn't even acknowledge us while we waited for them to give us menu card. When we asked them to give us a table where Ac would be working..they didnt even care and ignored us. We had to wait for almost 60 minutes before they realized that 2 families(including mine) are waiting for them to take our order. I really hope they bring their proffessionalism back.
Dinky & Harnisha
Food: 3.5/5
Service: 2:5/5
Ambience:4/5

A restaurant with good interior and looks perfect for family dinner.

We visited this place on Sunday and though there was not much crowd the service was tooo slow.

Now coming to the food the dishes which we tried:
•Hariyali Paneer-4.5/5 (Paneer was perfectly cooked and taste was good)
•Paneer Masala- 3/5 (The gravy was not so thick and kind of water)
•Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani- 3/5 (This was not biryani but just rice with chicken pieces in it)
I loved the taste of biryani. The quantity is also enough for more than six person. This dish is my first preference to have with my friend.

I just have one thing to say i have never ever seen coriander leaves decorated on a dum biriyani......it does not goes well with the dum biriyani absolutely no even in Lucknow and Hyderabad dey don't decorate with coriander leaves dat kills the dum
Dharmaprakash Natarajan
A nice place to relish a good hyderabadi biriyani...
A must visit place for biriyani lovers. Price bit high..but taste is quite good...will visit again

Visited again today.. To our dismay briyani was nothing but a lal mirchi mix rice..salan was just a coloured water... Total disappointment
CB
First for sure and possibly still the best place for the closest to authentic dum biryani in Ahmadabad. Especially as Biryani in this city is most of the times a concoction of rice and chicken masala tossed on a tawa.
Biryani worth trying. Hyderabadi chicken fry or chicken 65 is a superb choice as well. Kebabs are average, in veg paneer makhmali is not to be missed. Decor is still the same as it was 10 years ago and looks faded and needs to be renovated as it doesn't give a good and hygienic vibe. Go for the food if you are a biryani lover..... It's not a dining destination..... Serves well for takeaway as well.

Hi -12th march 20....went again to try my old joint, but sorry to say staff behaviour is now at an all time low. Kanu Bhai - terrible attitude, rude and misbehaved, wanted to share this with the owner or management..... Such people will drive away the rest of your loyal clients as well. I have been one since 11 years..... Feel v sad as your food is still v good
Sheetal Sapru Darbari
What brings me back to this place is their authentic taste. They serve a limited variety but have been consistent with the flavors. They need to work little bit on their ambience though.
Akhilesh Bhavsar
Average food and normal service. Need to maintain property. A good name in biryani since long time but now real need to maintain all interior..
Fudaddix
one of the Bakwas restaurant in Ahmedabad..
mismanaged and careless staff...they always forget what the customer has order..
ambience n neatness not upto mark...not hygienic..
Food is bland ...and yuccckkkk..
Aayushi Shah
Service is not good and taste of a customer choice is not available. Jain and swaminarayan is not available and they don't provide also. And don't have much variety

If you want some real taste of Hyderabadi biryani please visit...nice ambient and food. Good service and staff. Enjoy the food here it's awesome
Sumit Kumar Dash
I always try veg / chicken Biryani.
I have seen the authentic biryani taste and smell here.
I could feel like ordering biryani from original paradise biryani centre.
Although the price is more but I couldnot find authenticity of taste and smell anywhere in Ahmedabad so far.
Amit
I visited this place first in 2006/7 and after that today.Chicken used for tandoor and dum biryani was fresh, neatly served, staff was also proactive and efficient. Food taste, quantity was good.I will definitely visit again.
Nayan Modi
At one time this place used to serve one of the best biryanis in town. Now, the biryani is a mess. The meat was slathered with uncooked red chili & garlic paste that was completely uncooked. Yuck!

I called to let them know the biryani was a disaster asking to speak with the manager, but no one knew where their manager was. Instead the guy on the phone argued with me that no has complained about the biryani. Sadly, I'm never going to visit the place again.
Prateek
Have ordered Veg Dum biryani..... Seriously it was not good at all..... I have visited many places in ahmedabad for dum biryani. Non of them doesn't know how to cook biryani .....still Hyatt regency Ahmedabad dum biryani was better.... Rest others need to have chef seriously......
Sharvani Mehta
Horrible even though instructed to make light biryani they did not follow instructions and made it so spicy no one ate and my money was wasted really disappointed with quality

If you are a north indian and have eaten non-veg delicious food all your life. Then never go to this place. The food taste really pathetic. In my only visit to this place, I have ordered Hyderabadi Chicken Biriyani and Hyderabadi Chicken Masala (the name seems really funny), to my surprise I found the food taste like garbage.. The chicken was not fresh, and both masalas and chicken are raw. You can taste ginger, garlic and powder masalas differently and when you taste the chicken it feel like half boiled chicken without any flavor..And when I complained about this, the waiter taken the food and bring back the same dish adding more chilly into it..They even
don't know how to cook non-veg food..And for this garbage food they charged me Rs. 760.00..And most funny thing about this place is they have named most of their food iteam in menu "Hyderabadi" without even knowing 0.0001 percentage knowledge about Hyderabadi Cusine.. Really a sorry place to visit for good food..
Ananya
Have been to this place many times but this time we were running short in time and decided to take away. In starter we tried chicken lasuni and we had my favourite chicken dum biryani. Like always food was delicious.. Just have one complain please add some onions in salad. The salad they gave had only cabbage and few pieces of carrots which doesn't go well with starter.
The Chef From India
A place serving tasty food. But that's about it. Why? The staff too is efficient to a point. But it lacks in cleanliness and aesthetics. The decor looks good but the details are shabby. Missing lamps and holes in the walls make the overall appearance a bit lax. One might not appreciate the same. Plus the colour schemes are so varied that they don't really go well together. There are Both, Indian and English dining seats available. We chose the former which sadly wasn't so comfortable.

Coming to the food, they had an option of a South Indian thali, but that wasn't available. The sweet dish wasn't available. So that was quite disappointing for my friend who wanted to have south Indian just because he wasn't expecting to see that on their menu. And had made up his mind about having that! The quantity of the food too isn't that great. Anokhi lemon pulao was nothing but yellow lemon rice. Did not even look like q pulao. The chicken biryani was quite watery and the rice not at all fluffy instead we had clumps of it and loads of clumps. Not a great experience.

Had been to this place many times. Always had complain about its service. The only reason i go there was to have authentic chicken dum biryani which taste really very good. But this time to my surprise, service was really good and quick. Response was really nice from the staff. Biryani and Salan in my previous visit was served cold but this time it seemed hot and fresh. Taste was awesome.
Ambience is just ok but the place was clean.
Food: 4.5/5
Service: 4/5
Ambience: 3.5/5
Kishore Kumar
Never been on time.... Just bcs of no option we reach here for biryani... Worst experience is we never get what we want.. We just need accept what they have in their inventory.. If so why you need to keep the items in menu... Biggest thing frustrating is the black coated onions...
Jestin Elias
A lot invested in trying to create an ambience but resulted in a failure. The soap dispenser in the washroom was empty. We ordered the tandoori chicken which was nice but the service was not so good. Had to call the boys again and again for accompaniments. Then came the biryani and it was a total letdown....the rice was all dry and seemed as if chicken was just mixed before getting it to the table. The mirch salan was water diluted with more water. Overall a sad experience.
Gandhar Deshpande
Quick service, different sitting arrangement. Tried mutton dum biryani it was nice. Can be considered as good biryani place. Well maintained.
Shruti Sumesh
We love the biryani here.. Haven't come across anything that's better than the biryani thats served here in Ahmedabad.. Love the starters too.. Beautiful ambience they have redone the place recently
Mukesh Kumar Singh
Its not biriyani but masala rice they serve, that too was bad to taste. Not at all anything related to hyderabadi biriyani. Please do not disgrace the name.
ARPAN MISTRY
We ordered veg biryani!!! It was good... Not that great..Another drink we ordered was too ok ok. Seating arrangement was innovative and ambience was just fine.
Ishan.barot
The Hyderabadi Biryani has lost everything.. the charm the quality the ambiance. Sad to visit this place again. They are not interested in offering quality food and service.. really sad..
Aks131
Pathetic and worn out ambience. The biryani here is ok and identical to any basic indian restaurant, nothing worth in it to make me specially come here. Staff is not trained either. Ordered 1 garlic chicken starter but there was no flavor of garlic. Chicken biryani jad negligible masala or flavour too. Seatings was worned out and toilets were unclean and leaking taps all over
Anurag Anthony
Degraded beyond revival point... The quality of food is ordinary now while it used to be one of the best mutton Rogan Josh places a few years back... Air-conditioning doesn't work, the loo is not clean and the seats look worn out... Overall, food, ambience and comfort are all below average. I have 2 stars cos of fond memories of mutton dishes here.
Purva Dwivedi
Had a very bad experience here. The only thing good amongst our food was the lassi. And the biryani, hyderabadi one was really bad. Nothing like the original one. Need to improve the taste of other items as well. The food was totally tasteless and too much use of bay leaves in every dish.
Karan Cool
You see that lovely thing walking cutely towards my plate ! :) yes its a cockroach , Thanks Hyd Biryani for letting a space to those tiny cockroaches in your Tumbler ! And thanks for making me realise onion is the most precious veggie of your restaurant that you find it so costly to add it in Tikka or wait you dont serve onions in your salad ! wow !
Man
The worst ever experience of my life... they serve long hairs in Biryani yuk!
Not only that boneless chicken Biryani comes with bones and after complaining they serve u chilli chicken pieces in dum Biryani...yuk yuk yuk
This restaurant should be closed
The Foodgasmic Moody
I used to be a regular here. I could eat their biryani every day for weeks. Such a relaxing ambience and the Hyderbadi Dum Chicken Biryani is just amazing. Best biryani in Ahmedabad hands down.
Parthlochan Bayanwala
It is almost opposite Rajpath club, near to Mocha....

Famous for its non veg dishes, I always avoided this place....

But it is a terrific place.... Food is great.... Service is nice.... Ambience is good....
Rangarajan S
Worst behavior of staff never seen .Even bothered customer requirements.

Taste is not only qualification main requirement is behavior, that should be corrected by the
Minnit Dudi
these people serve bugs in their food and the quality and standards are really poor, they are also unapologetic and rude for the same.
the service is really poor and the cleanliness is BAD, i also think that these people donot even wash their hands regularly.
THEY SERVED ME A BUG
the picture is attached

Unfortunately this is not about food and it's taste..we ordered take away when we reached they say you did not call show proof when we did they say no body spoke and also no mutton biryani available while it was 1330 on Sunday we called and reached at1400 to collect food. their were 6 tables where people were eating food and more were coming... entire ambience was so gloomy that I am never returning here..service team had no clue...God bless the owner!!!
Prakash Parikh
It was biggest mistake of the day. No ambience.. no ac working.. worst service.. food came almost in 45 mins after ordering.made mistake as well on order writing. Food was decent but overpriced .. don't ever go to this place.
Pritu Patel
They used to serve good meals. But after getting worst reviews by cousin, we stopped going there. They found a cockroach in Biryani. And some other reviews r Saying same stuff. Be careful!
Shubham Gupta
One bad decision to go to this place. It was a haphazard decision to eat biryani at this place. Thankfully we only ordered Dum Sabz Biryani. There was no taste in the biryani plus the seating arrangements made the restaurant look even sadder.
Amit Agarwal
It took half an hour for serving 1 chicken biryani. The place needs serious renovation.
Icing on the stale cake. My wife found hair in her plate!!!
Mitalee Rachh
Not that great, needs many changes in terms of the ambience, menu options for vegetarians and even in for service.. Have been there twice but not a place I would suggest a friend!
Bevin John Benny
We went for lunch and tried the new Andhra Veg Thali they have introduced. It was good and enough quantity but cannot say it had that authentic Andhra taste. Still worth a try..
Shoyeb Mansuri
I think those who are giving good reviews for this place specifically for biriyani might they don't know exactly what biriyani is. We ordered dumm chicken biriyani but it was like chicken with coloured rice. Butter milk and curd had same thickness difference was just the way they surved. Service was oke oke they were not keen to serve or attend. Plenty of good options to have biriyani rather than this.
Khushbu Bhatt
@zomato
I would rather prefer to go to a roadside thela than go to this place , These guys are so pathetic that even though they claim to have a free home delivery service but when you will call them they will always come up with an excuse that they don't have someone to deliver food " Aaj delivery boy chhuti pe hai " to be precise . Even if you go by yourself to get your meal they will take at least 1 hour to prepare your meal . So all I can say is we all should avoid going to such pathetic place which has such kinda service ..

Thank you

Amruta Bhuyan
Ahmedabad has always lacked for places with good biriyani. Tried Hyderabadi Biriyani for my love- Chicken biriyani.
We ordered Chicken achari kabab - roasted perfectly with the achari flavours, Chicken biriyani and mutton biriyani.
Truly speaking, I was expecting more from the restaurant. The pieces were well cooked and the biriyani recipe was good. However, it lacked the special aroma which raises your taste buds. Can try once but did not feel it was value for money.
Ambience - the place is getting old and needs a makeover. Requires more attention on the cleanliness. Service was bad.
Urjit Jhaveri
Hyderabadi Biryani has been around for quite sometime now and over the years, I've been here a few tines although I've only been here twice out of my own will. The first was years ago when I wanted to try their chicken biryani and came away disappointed. The next visit was a few months ago and over the years, there doesn't seem to be much change as far as the food goes.
The first thing I look for in a biryani is the aroma as it nears you, next come the layers as it is served, then comes the taste and the texture of the rice and the meat and everything else that goes into making it a biryani.
None of the senses are adequately satisfied with the biryani served here. It is fairly bland with little aroma to stir up your appetite and the salan does little to compensate. The chicken, although always fresh, lacks the juicy tenderness and you will feel as if its picked from a continental dish and dumped into the biryani.
The seating and ambience have been good over the years..so this is a place where you can entertain your guests over a non exciting meal.
Trishna Kashyap
Sunday lunch with family...was thinking of biriyani and this restaurant came to our mind. Thought let us try. Tried mutton biriyani. The mutton pieces were so well cooked that it melt in the mouth. However the biriyani overall could have been more moist. Items like fish and sweet dishes were on the menu, however was not available ... Ambiance was ok ok. The decor was good but not maintained well.
Nayan Modi
It's the only option for Hyderabadi style Biryani, and both the mutton & chicken biryanis are nice to try. But being the only game in town doesn't means it's great. The place is rundown now so I only do late-night takeouts.
Gaurav
Worst food, arrogant staff, 1 rating is not worth , stale food and tasteless Biryani with excessive salt . They took 1 hour plus serving food and Chandan the manager is really rude with its behaviour..
Anuj Parmar
No...not that good no!! Second visit but the quality of food was not that good..!! And most importantly service...worst we can say..!! Someone tell them what is d speciality called!! Biryani was not that tasty and riata with it..was like butter milk!!
Tushar Rajpal
Nice place. Some sort of hyderabadi old places. Definitely gives a feeling of hyderabadi stuff.

People do go for satisfying their taste buds of Biryani. Now Biryani taste here is something which really cannot be defined. Its both in positive and negative. I have visited this place almost close to 50 times. Sometimes you will find the taste so good and awesome that you are in love with it and sometimes it will be so bad. So it all depends on your luck. It will be bad to post in a review but this is a reality.

Rest of the things are good. I can say pretty decent.
Umang Agarwal
Order biryani and 65. The biryani was great and had a real Hyderabadi touch but the starter could have been much better. It need much more flavour and not just pieces of onion and chillies.

Soft drinks were not available and I had to ask them to get it from a shop nearby.

Overall a decent experience. Need more willingness from the employees in terms of service who did not offer to serve the food.

Kaushal Mehta
This place has its own set of customers.. Made very nicely.. Service very nice.. Food options.. Far enough.. Food taste.. Far enough.. Value for money..
Prakhar Agarwal
Hyderabadi Biryani. The name itself suggests what this restro must be famous for. Yes, The Biryani served here is good(spicy) with the curd and chutney. On weekends, you won't find a table to have dinner unless and untill you end up spending some time in queue.
Adding to this their service is too slow. So, if you are starving, you need to visit some other place.
The restro needs to get a new theme.
Lincy Andrew Gomez
Have been to this place many times before but this time it was to celebrate a special occasion. Me and my husband had taken our respective families for dinner to this restaurant to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary.

This time we got to sit on the sofa's. The ambience is still the same no change with good old chandeliers adorning the walls and giving the restaurant the look of a haveli.

We ordered panner tikkas for starters and fish fry, fish roast and chilli chicken for my non-veg lovers.
Tikkas were nice and soft ofcourse service was very slow and the waiters had to be requested all the time to serve as they would leave the food on the table and leave.

Then we ordered tandoori rotis which were well cooked and shahi subz deewani there was nothing shahi or deewani about this one. Plain old vegetables served with hot piping tandoori rotis.

We also ordered two "Hyderabadi dum biryani - chicken" and "Hyderabadi subz dum biryani". For the veg biryani I can vouch their quality has gone down since my last visit when they would offer us lip-smacking biryani which would make me lick of the last morsel of biryani from my plate!! Didn't happen this time.

For quenchers we ordered their good old chaas and shahi nimboo pani too!!

Forgot to click pics before dinner hence such pics with almost no food in it.

Total value for money and a good family restaurant. Can vouch that the number of patrons seemed to have gone down cause we were the only group there on a monday night.. We have always been used to seeing this restaurant filled to the brim with customers!!

I can't comment on the non-veg food like usual but from the looks of it everyone enjoyed their meal!

I being a South Indian was craving fora biryani point in this vast city of Ahmedabad. After a horrible experience with Awadhpuri, I decided to find a new place and I discovered Hyderabadi Biryani. I went there for dinner.

I ordered the standard Biryani and as expected they served it with yummy raita and the salan (yellow gravy curry) along with onion salad.

The biryani was plain rice. It lacked vegetables and aroma. Though I loved the onion raita, as I was looking for the thin water based curd raita for Biryani (everywhere else you get thick powder based curd raita). I was happy with the raita but the main thing, i.e Biryani lacked flavor, vegetables, taste and aroma. So the raita also couldn't add much taste to the insipid Biryani. All in all again disappointed with the Biryani point in this City.

Still hunting for a decent VEG BIRYANI joint in the city.

The ambiance and seating was comfortable and so was the service.
Sheetal Adhiya
Please don't visit. It's simply pathetic. Food is absolutely non tolerable. Can't visit with family. Ambience is so dull and negative. Serving was also too slow
Debashis Sharma
Had visited this place for dinner with office colleagues in march 2015. The Biryani was good by Ahmedabad standards where it is anyway difficult to find proper non veg restaurant let alone a cuisine like hyderabadi or awadhi. The quantity was good. Pricing is slightly on higher side. Their interiors were good in design but needs maintenance. Service was slow. The real headache in this place is the parking which is not properly available. Had also been their later as a couple on a Sunday lunch and parking was issue. Still one should Atleast give it a try if you are a biryanu lover in satellite.
Hardik Babaria (HDK)
Very tasty food there, Especially Veg Dum Biryani. Need to improve service, as its pretty slow. Apart from all Ambience is good. Waiters are not service oriented.
Pavan Tamiri
Landed here for a treat to my friends. We read through to the menu and ordered vegetarian and non - vegetarian starters. There are only few starters and in vegetarian only panzer and vegetarian pakoda. Items are good and delicious. Next we ordered rotis and subzi. The options in these also limited. Finally we ordered the brands briyani, Hyderabad Subzi briyani. The tasty is delicious.

When compared to their other resturant at New CG road near Chandkedha, this seems have more rush because of location. The briyani is more tastier at New CG road resturant. The ambience here is sent in Haveli in regular tables & chairs and niche with low height sofa & table. The chandelier and lights are not attractive.

The service is absolutely poor and needs a lot of improvement.
Ronak Bhatia
This is not the one I visited before . When the first time , I visited there they had the best biryani in the city . But now the worst biryani . The biryani was literally taste less . No seasoning nothing just bland . There was no one to serve the food only two waiters in the entire restaurant . Service was very slow we had to wait for 30 minutes for the biryanu itself . The food served is of poor quality ,we can get better food in that area . Never going there again worst restaurant.
Amit Badlani
Worst biryani ! Shud be name "Salty Biryani" rather than hyderabad biryani. Waiters hav not received adequate training on how to acknowledge a complaint. They smilingly listen to ur worries and walk away. The Managers arent either worried either. "Stay away Biryani "- the new suggested name for the restaurant

Waiters are oversmart....it would be better if management have some hold on them....limited menu....avg food....better go if you have plenty of tym to wait for food .

The irresponsible management and uncourteous staff is a slap on face to the great food reputation here.. The worst experience ever admist the great ambience.. A tip if you ever want to enjoy the food here, just order it home or go for a take out if you don't want to hassle yourself with the shamelessly insolent staff here..

Satisfactory Biryani, for people who value authentic Dum ( Layered rice cooked with marinated chicken) . Decent ambience and courteous staff too.

Great Biryani, least expected in Ahmdabad, when you imagine the food will be only sweet Gujarati thalis. This place serves some of the awesome kebabs and Birayani.
Went to the place with three colleagues, and tried Dum Biryani Chicken and Mutton.
The rice is tasetfully cooked and the mutton pieces are well marinated and succulent.
Advice to the management - the place smells a bit odd, maybe a little extra housekeeping will do them good.
Highly recommended place for Biryani lovers ....

Taste of hyderabadi biryani never changes. Taste and color in single spoon. Good food and service. Keep on.. ordered veg biryani but worth going..

I had chicken briyani like twice in week and it was always that same mouth watering taste. Each and every item i found was very good and me being a on and off NVegtrn i can always have place for that place.

Went to the place for a Mid week Lunch with Office colleagues. The ambience Is well designed to replicate a Hyderabadi look. The seating (Specially the Low seating) is a good option. Coming to the food we tried the master piece that was the Biryani (Veg) and Veg Crispy and both were really good. Taste and Quantity were fully to the expectation and no regrets. Would surely try out other delicacies next time.

We had a corporate lunch today. But Seriously you people call it HYDERABADI BIRYANI..!! Hush no. Food was average. Place Stinks with Non veg smell. But the only thing make me disappointed was Service, those waiters were literally Illiterate. I ordered Tikka and it came at least 30 min after. Awful Experience .

Had Hyderabadi Biryani and Paneer Masala here.
There was nothing authentic in Hyderabadi Biryani. It was disappointing.
They didn't even had the hyderabadi famous Double Ka Meetha.
Its not even worth giving second chance.

What happen to the place ..!! We have tried Hyderabadi biriyani in which they are specialised but this time the chicken was not well cooked, failed to reach to the authentic taste at the same time raita was like buttermilk .. Not worthy.. Even after all these we have waited half an hour to get the bill and finally we received it when we went to the managers desk..

If you love biriyani then it's a must that you get here ! The parking may be an issue but the place is awesome ! The food is just mind blowing ! Just don't forget to mention how you want your food to be or sometimes it may end up being too spicy :)

Table reservation is recommended :)

Attracted by the words Hyderabad and Biryani,We decided to step in!
Well after having enjoyed Biryani in Hyderabad and at Paradise biryani in N.J and at a restaurant frequented by cab drivers in Chicago,We were dissapointed on our first visit as they had run out of Mutton Biryani and could only offer chicken biryani which was useless.
The second visit this week happened not out of our choice but by compulsion!(Party thrown by a non-veg relishing,Single Malt only drinking Jain friend).
The lamb biryani this time was very good and so was the Mutton Masala.
My final opinion is dining there is like Russian Roulette!

FOOD: Very avg. Biryani(both chicken & Mutton).Expected a lot from this place after reading previous reviews.
AMBIENCE: It is good.Nice separate areas for a big group. It gives you a feel of Hyderabadi style architecture
MENU: Menu is short and sweet. The only issue is pricing. The Biryani is well over priced.Even in Hyderabad its very hard to find that expensive Biryani 😜.
