=> This hotel cum restaurant is in a class of its own. This was a century old heritage property (since 1923) transformed into a cosy hotel & restaurant. => It is an in-house multi cuisine vegetarian restaurant of hotel WelcomHeritage Mani Mansion. => The ambience was outstanding as the outdoor seating arrangement gives you a pleasant experience as if you are in a lap of nature. You can also have an option of air-conditioned indoor seating. => The esthetically designed interior full of antique items and the lighting were eye catching. => There was only one server but was very helpful, attentive and humble. => Either you can go with their unlimited lunch/dinner or can opt for a la carte. => You can consider it as a heaven for shtterbugs as there were many picturesque spots. => Price was a little bit higher as compare to the taste & presentation of the food items; however, the pleasant ambience balances it. => Double storey parking structure was there for four wheelers wereas outside street parking was available for two wheelers. Dishes we tried alongwith recommendation: Broccoli Almond Soup - Good in taste Crispy Vegetables - Average Spinach Cheese Balls - Superb Mexican pockets - Below Average Note: Due to an open seating arrangement amidst tree & plants, mosquitoes were a problem.

A very good hotel and restaurant houses in a heritage bungalow right in the middle of the city. There's an indoor and outdoor space for the restaurant. A big lawn that can accommodate a party or a function. The food is great and fresh. The menu has great choices of Asain, Continental, Chinese, Punjabi, and even Gujarati Thali. A must visit restaurant.

Amazing place, one must go once atleast, It is one of the old house converted to cafe, restaurant and hotel. Everything is so antique and aesthetically pleasing here, so refreshing ambience and perfect vibe to spend time.

Loved the place. Loved the crowd. Service is slow. Some food taste good like North Indian Cuisine but some are below the expectation. Portion size is also less according to the price they are charging. Overall one time visit place.

I was astonished a entering Mani Mansion / Fresh Roast Cafe Imagine I have spent 49 years in Paldi area and did not ever check this place out.... The most amazing restaurant I have ever visited till date... Impressive double storey parking structure in a restaurant... Saw this for the first time.... Impressive Covered and closed dininig areas and a lawn where a kid party had been organized.. MS IRON round tables with comfortable seating in the open section was where We preferred to seat... We ordered Broccoli Cheddar n Almond soup and Sweet Corn Coriander Soup Quantity was OK and the preparation was moderate... Service was slow of the kind but the ambience makes up for that... Overall, my friends from US seemed very happy with experience and that's what mattered..!!!👍

The ambience is really nice and best hangout place in summer. The food is also amazing. They have all kind of varieties to offer from, starters, soup to all different kind of cousins like, italian, Mexican, Lebanese, chinese and of coursr great variety of indian food as well. The ambience is very nice. Service is good. The Maitre d'hotel is very friendly. Food should have been better We ate Mexican rice with salsa curry. But it did not have the Mexican flavor we had expected. It could have very well been a Rajma Chawal with tomato puree. The serving size is decent . But the cost is too high. Good for impressing your date. Not good if you're giving birthday treat to your group of friends. No doubt, worth visiting for the ambience and atmosphere.

Food is really delicious here and one should definitely try: Cottage cheese Thukpa soup, Mushroom ki nazakat, Ravioli in Creole Sauce, Pesto rice with cheesy exotic vegetables & Mohanthal. Special mention for Mohanthal which is prepared in pure ghee and cooked to perfection.

The place is very calm, peaceful and isolated. We loved their homely ambience with the seating arrangement surrounded by greens. There are fresh flowers around, fountain and soothing breeze that will definitely uplift your dining experience. The masala chai, is the best chai I have had until now. We loved their entire menu, it's worth value for money! The service is prompt and food is freshly served. I totally adored this place. A recommended place from our side!

So it was a very special day for my family and I chose to go for a serene place.This attracted me due to its ambiance and heritage setup.<br/><br/>We ordered Mediterranean watermelon Salad which was refreshing enough in summer evening.Started with Mexican cheese enchiladas and it increased our appetite to have some more tasty food.My parents wanted to try the Thai curry so from different options we selected Thai green curry with Herb rise which was soothing for our tummy and soul both.<br/><br/>Loved the place , setup,staff behavior ,food and serenity.<br/><br/>Going to try this place for few more dishes and coffee options.

We have ordered thai green curry and rice on 17th feb. After eating 2 or 3 spoon there is steel pin in mouth while eating rice and curry.<br/><br/>I have asked manager to check and he says just sorry.<br/>This is rediculos response.<br/><br/>I could not expect this type of food from welcome group.<br/><br/>Next time onwards we will not coming and recommending dresh roast.

Ordered cold coffee which was served in a container which i couldn’t figure out in which way(as shown in the picture) was it for serving coffee and I had specially mentioned to provide less sweetened coffee while placing the order which the restaurant did not wish to keep in mind and instead provided me super sugary coffee which I could not even drink. Very disappointed with their service. Will never order again from here.

An outdoor seating cafe, this place is a hidden gem in Paldi. It is located inside a heritage hotel compound and the atmosphere outside is very good. They have recently started with Happy hours on weekdays in the evening hours you get a flat 20% discount in the total bill which is ideal for groups and for those looking to celebrate an occasion and save some money! The Menu consists of finger food and snacks from Pizza, Pasta, Panini, Burger to even Gujarati snacks are available. The best place to visit is during the evening hours when you can enjoy the sunset and have a nice meal. The property also boasts of a swimming pool that you can use so they also have special offers running wherein you can Have a meal by the pool or plan a romantic date night inside their premises. Service is quick and the staff is very courteous they help you with whatever you need ensuring you have a good experience.

The reason for giving 1 star is the quality of service and food.. I ordered a khaw suey, and I was served it without noodles and they didn't even apologize for it and said we will put the noodles in the same bowl... And after adding the noodles the khaw suey tasted so bad... That we left the bowl as it is.

I could not think of a better place in Paldi than this, when I was meeting my childhood friend after 16 long years and I am happy it didn’t disappoint us, and the fact that she liked the place was something that made me happier. Despite the killing heat, the sitting area was cool thanks to the greenery but I felt there is a lot of scope of improvement on the service part, food has a decent taste with no frills.

Mani Mansion is well maintained with their gloomy, cozy and artistic greenery. The outdoor area is mind boggling, in one corner you get to sit under the vine roof and in the other corner you've the pool view. The mansion is undoubtedly royal. Their service is elegant just the way as their food.

You know it took me quite some time to figure out where exactly is this place located. You tend to nearly miss the small Fresh Roast board hanging on a rod I think, at a second's distance from Paldi cross roads. I never got a chance to actually visit it until yesterday when a friend decided to throw a promotion party and I suggested please let's just go here. And my friends happily complied.<br/><br/>So here we were at the very famous heritage structure called Mani mansion converted into a beautiful restaurant - with simple and calm interiors. Since we went for lunch here, we sat inside. But I believe I would like to try the open air area as well some day as I have heard quite a lot. You instantly realise that it's a not a restaurant which was meant to be one in the first place, as soon as you go inside. There is a whole rack covering one wall where all the cutlery is laid out in the open. The tables are neatly placed at a good distance from each other to be able to have you left food in peace.<br/><br/>About the food - we had the broccoli cheddar soup, jalapeño cheese wrappers, chaupita with herb rice, subziyon Ka mela, garlic naan and butter roti and chilli garlic noodles! We went crazy ordering one item from each section of the menu - Indian, mexican, Chinese.<br/><br/>Soup - super! Absolutely delicious. Even on a hot summer afternoon, it set the game right for the meal to follow.<br/><br/>Jalapeño cheese wrappers - Decent! Not the best ones I have had but I liked them.<br/><br/>Chaupita with herb rice - This dish took my heart away! I am anyway a rice person but the Mexican gravy in this dish was just amazing - you should definitely try it!<br/><br/>Subziyon ka Mela - Again, good taste. In simple language - mix vegetable but one spiced right and with great taste.<br/><br/>Chilli garlic noodles - I normally do not like the chilli garlic noodles everywhere as there is either too much oil or too less garlic. But, this here was good - worth a shot!<br/><br/>All in all - we loved our lunch here and definitely coming here more. Oh! Over-rated restaurant by zomato. I visited that place because of good rating in Zomato. Totally disappoint in food and service. Ambience is nice but no music. No hangout place with ur friends and family. In food , i tried lemon corrinder soup, broccoli soup, crispy crunchy vegetable starter, falafel, masala papad, margarita pizza, mexican rice and bruschetta. I only love starter and rice.<br/>

Fresh roast is really cute place. There are 2-3 types of sitting arrangements, indoor and outdoor both. Outdoor arrangements feels really fresh with all the greenery and lighting. Food is quite nice. Please do not go here,they in plates which are covered dust, glasses had stains all around,not only hygiene,the food was more worse, I had ordered Manchow soup,which had a DEAD ANT , Nachos which were soggy and the cheese tasted sour because it had all bad! I even had ordered pasta,but then cancelled them because of such quality of the foods which were served in the beginning! I went with great expectations and this is what it happened!😓

Yes sir, it is an ITC property. A steward's reply upon asking such a beautifully maintained property's whereabouts. This fact gave us further more confidence on our decision of having dinner in midst of the city leaving other modern concepts. Unfortunately we 4 were there for dinner and not to satisfy our hunger only by looking at the ambience. Here menu engineering is good with lil higher pricing but not worth for sure. We were of mood to have different starters so we ordered for <br/><br/>1. Veg. Spring roll - very oily, an average recipe served with a schezwan dip procured from local market.<br/>2. Water chestnut in plum sauce - oh come on that was not a plum sauce at ol although it tasted well.<br/>3. Romania Pizza - thin crust pizza with a process cheese sprinkle. Chef we have something called mozzarella available specially for pizza.<br/>4. Dal Makhani - first ever yellow dal Makhani seen. Thank god my heart is not weak 🤣 again it was an absolutely average recipe.<br/>5. Jeera rice<br/>6. Coffee - AVERAGE<br/><br/>Service sometime make up for chefs' not so good recipes but we were disappointed here as well. Not groomed staff could not do good in service, too.<br/><br/>Really, I would like to visit this soothing place again with an expectation of main motive to be met by the brand.

Food was also not too good as expected & service was worst none of the waiters had a courtsey to even serve water! Soup order was placed as soon as we settled down at d space and it was served after an hour!!Spoiled the whole evening! Not recommandable for Groups!!

Very soothing place, with greenery all around. Very well maintained. The food is good (but not great), overall a good experience. Would suggest to start fresh juice too. N food can definitely be made better as other cafes in Ahmedabad serve high quality food , the four stars are mainly for the place ambience and the quiet soothing feeling experienced.

Ten on ten to food and courteous staff! We told waiter to suggest best dishes. He suggested Pasta many times but we were not feeling like having it, so we didn’t order that. In soup, he suggested Cinnamon Cappuccino, we ordered that. He suggested Margherita Pizza, we ordered that. He suggested Grilled Cottage Cheese Sandwich, we ordered that and then there was a bump in a delicious ride; sandwich upset our tastebuds.<br/><br/>But let me be honest, a poetry collab with a friend (who is in love with literature) while enjoying delicious food (soup and pizza) at a fantastic place was an experience that I would love to indulge in at least one more time.<br/><br/>And at last but not the least; coming to “Please bring the bill” moment, I won’t become verbose here. Ahmedabad has done it this time. There are very few places where you find good food, ambience, service and price. <br/>Well this place is one of them. They have beautiful ambience and also have outdoor sittings available. <br/><br/>They have alot of cuisines like mexican, italian, chinese, etc. I would recommend “Jalapeño Cheese Wraps” and “Margarita Pizza”.

The food was very nice, not just the taste but the quality and quantity was also very satisfying. I would definitely recommend anyone to try there green Thai curry and herb rice.

On suggestion of a friend we visited this place. loved the ambience but the service and staff is rude. Earlier we took place in the garden ,one of the waiter came and told that those tables were booked and made us shift to other place,though they were not booked. We ordered enchiladas and romanio thin crust pizza,the quantity is really less ,like that one enchiladas was not sufficient even for one person. Since we were 4 people we ordered spring rolls as the quantity was less of earlier food items. 20mins passed food wasn’t served ,another waiter came and asked what have you ordered so we told the same. More 20mins passed still not and when we complained it to person taking ordered his attitude was not at all good. Management is really poor.<br/>Ambience:4/5<br/>Food:3/5<br/>Service:2/5

All is very good about the restaurant, the ambience, the food, the location, the parking. Everything is just fine but their staff definitely needs some training. They are slow, lathargic and lack basic serving etiquette.<br/>

Recently, I have paid a visit to Fresh Roast with my mother for dinner as a part of to redeem my Dineout earnings, and I chose this place among others just because I have heard a lot about this grandeur heritage place tucked away from hush bush of the city traffic and pollution since past 6 months. Must say it was an amazing ambience, the open air sitting with limited number of space and one could literally hear the fountain noise which was soothing. Walking in you can see the place is kept pretty neat. <br/><br/>Dinner is always light on my side so ordered Broccoli Almond Soup and Thai Green Curry with Herb rice. Cooked to perfections. More vegetables in Thai Curry than the broth. The coconut mixture tastes fresh. Healthy and great!<br/><br/>Prices are decent and service was a mixed bag. The servers were always pleasant and well intentioned, but some point they were slow and confused. <br/><br/>Overall, I’m really looking forward to coming back here again to try other dishes.

Visited this outlet as I have bought promotional coupon to get one vegetable biryani along with single serving of iced tea.. Vegetable biryani was good in taste.. It was not authentic one but can be given a try as taste was good.. Nothing extra ordinary for iced tea..<br/><br/>Quantity for vegetable biryani was also good comparing to price they charge for one serving.. Service was quick.. Ambience of restaurant is very basic.. Just couple of tables and chairs are available.. Overall a good place and consider it a hidden gem in mansion..

Made us wait till 3 and then said they cant provide food! It was a disappointing experience coming all the way to this place and getting an unexpected behaviour! Staff was not at all nice and gave cold looks! Wasted our half an hour at this place.

The ambiance is different and beautiful. It's such a quite place. Loved the atmosphere. Ordered a beverage named sea breeze which was pretty cool. Had margherita and western sandwich. Both of which were good but not the best. The place is a little over priced

Good food in this restaurant, which is a part of Welcom Heritage (ITC). Had grilled cottage cheese sandwich and tomato basil soup, the food was tasty and the flavours were maintained as per the menu.<br/><br/>Ordered a gulab Jamun in dessert but ended up a little disappointed. The quantity was enough but the taste wasn’t. It's part of the welcome Heritage group this restaurant cum cafe is part of the Three Star Hotel. It deserves an easy 4.5 but coz of the limited menu and space it has to settle for a 4.<br/><br/>Ambience, outdoor seating with a small lush green garden. I loved the seating outdoor with royal old school chair with lentils & plants hanging from the top. We tried one dish from all the segments and loved the pizza. Thin crust with perfect number of toppings and cheese. The ambience is great. And being in middle of the city but still being unnoticed is blessing for people. I have been to this area for some work that's why I located the place otherwise I would have missed such a peaceful place. Fresh roast is a part of heritage hotel. It has only few tables and crowd to cater. I ordered brownie which was worth money. But the items on menu are little more pricey. Highly recommended

The food was really good. We orders green Thai curry and it was awesome. The service was usual , nothing special. The way they took our other and served the food was very neutral. We didn’t feel special in that sense. But the ambiance and the place is super nice.

The place was absolutely beautiful and lovely place to sit and enjoy!<br/>The food was also very delicious.. all kinds of food items were available for every kind of people.<br/>The ambience was soo beautiful  that person would love to sit for long!!.. The most enchanting factor of that place was the live band of guitarist and keyboard who were playing amzingly awesome!. The staff had been really kind and up to the mark. Even the owner are really into the customers!! Above all was the food taste!. A must visit  place surely in the weather  of winter!! Beautifully  maintained - MANI MANSION!!
