Review New Sanjha Chulla - Ahmedabad

Hetvi Shah
We found difficulty with the staff behaviour bcz its an open space so we would like to have dinner in that space but due to slight rain drops they shifted some of their sittings inside ... We were 12 people and they only served us 4 sofas...in each sofa only one 2 persons and small kid can sit.. So we told manger but he refused to give so we were about to leave the place but then rain stopped and they agreed that u can have dinner in open space with whatever number u required u need for dining Taste wise Spot on .. Mexican tortila was sweet but lemon coriander was Spot on Overall food is really superb and satisfying including cheese butter masala, veg loloipops, achari paneer tikka ,etc

The New Sanjha Chulla Garden Restaurant is a popular restaurant in Amdavad Gujarat that serves vegetarian food. It has a rustic, village-like setting with seating in both an open-air garden. The food at New Sanjha Chulla is generally considered to be good, with fresh ingredients and flavorful dishes. Some of the most popular items on the menu include daal baati churma, shahi paneer, and kadhi pakora. The restaurant also has a good selection of vegetarian thali options. The service is generally considered to be good, and the prices are reasonable. We had masala papad, Veg, kolhapuri,Paneer Tufani ,freshly made of garlic naan with masala chaas and lassi. Food taste was good and delicious specially Garlic naan all the staff members are very friendly and helpful. Overall, the New Sanjha Garden Restaurant is a good option for a casual meal of Punjabi cuisine. The food is tasty, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the prices are reasonable.

Location is good on main roda near vaishnodevi circle and beside vaishnodevi temple. As of now we get big space for parking. About food is testy and I think they shoud working on cheese butter masala and buttermilk. Rest of food is good. Services is up to mark they pay attention on everything and order speed is also good. One factor is we visited on Monday but still overall good experience. And yes khatiya seating is good if tables are little bit higher ☺️ then it's great. We ordered Cheese butter Masala, Sanjha chula special paneer, veg spring roll, dry Manchurian and butter milk. My special request please improve butter milk quality in summer a good buttermilk like Amrit for every one.

Very beautiful place and very delicious food is served here. Typical traditional type sitting and atmosphere. All type of cuisine are served here. Food is very tasty and quality, roti and dal are awesome 😋. I liked their traditional way of food presentation. Very large space, both and indoor and outdoor sitting.

Want to enjoy open and village like atmosphere… then this is the place to enjoy. We had lunch here. Nice service and food quality with taste. Reasonable pricing also. Can bet on this for food any meal time.

The sitting is very comfortable here, it's an open garden restaurant with playful music in the background. The service is nice. We have ordered 1. Spe. Sanjha Chula sabzi kathiyavadi - looks like mix of all vegetables 2. Manchurian dry, chapati n paratha both hot and soft The quantity and quality of food is good as per price. Usually long waiting on weekends and almost full of weekdays too

Had a great experience in open seating restaurant sanjha chulla near s g highway ahmedabad best place to go with family<br/>I liked bajri chura alot and bhartha<br/>Lovely experience

The service at this place is very quick which is a big positive. There is a typical rajwadi or dhaba style seating arrangement which gives you a desi village dining experience. The atmosphere is quiet chilled out as it is a garden restaurant in open air. The food here is just yumm, I had ordered north indian food and I liked it a lot. Overall it was a great experience but the manager or the person who took the order was not able to explain about the dishes in the menu, I asked him about a dish and he was like see in the menu it is given so he could not explain me about it. This is where they can improve.

An authentic Kathiawadi food garden restaurant with traditional sitting and good taste is what you need being in winter in Ahmadabad.Little bit away from city area located on S.G.Highway , this one suffice your appetite perfectly in freezing cold.<br/><br/>We ordered Vagharelo Rotalo with Curd , Methi-Papad ki Sabji(Traditional one),Bajareki Roti(Well known as Rotalo), Ringan no Olo(Made up of Brinjal,Tomato gravy and few other ingredients), DallBatti(Rajasthani Cusine Special).<br/><br/>Masala Papad and buttermilk is must to have with kathiawadi food.<br/><br/>We were little bit disappointed with the Paneer Tikka they offered us which was sugary instead of a normal salt paper one.<br/><br/>A Good place to visit and enjoy the serenity for Kathiawadi food in winter with family or friends of groups.

Service is too slow. there is no enough staff to handle all tables.i ordered 100% jain food but 1st time tjey served non-jain food and after complaining about that they change the food and they said 2nd time 100% jain food will come and again we found onion pieces in paneer sabji.infact we showed them too the onion but the staff member was not ready to accept.if anyone want jain food ..please dont visit this place.

This is to bring into notice that we had Broccoli Almond Soup at your Sanjha Chulha restaurant Mehsana and it was rancid. You should check it before serving to customers...Hope u consider this matter and improve the quality

Food was decent, nice tatse & sufficient quantity to serve two. The quantity of paneer can be better in the subji which is listed in paneer section atleast.<br/><br/>Vagharelo Rotlo was really awesome. Well definitely a muat try especially in chilling winter nights.<br/><br/>Nive place to enjoy family time over dinner.

Hot summer night on sundays are for sure crowded and this place came out to no surprise.<br/>Had almost 50mins of waiting and due to some reason lights went down 8 times.<br/>Sweet corn soup: Super sweet! (2/5)<br/>Manchurian dry: Okayish in taste. (2.5/5)<br/>Sanjh chulla spl veg: Was fine, nothing special about it. (3/5)<br/>Tawa Rotis were way too expensive. <br/>Service was prompt :)

If there s an option of less den 1 star i would have given that only...<br/><br/>Worst ever hotel i have ever visited... <br/><br/>Food- below than average hotel...<br/><br/>Staff- they dont care whether u want to eat or not... <br/><br/>Ambience- quite ok but they can arrange it in better manner...(waiting lounge and dinner are both are same)...<br/><br/> Do not visit this hotel.. try shivshakti or gamthi 2....<br/>Boycott this bogus...

Best place for kathiyawadi cuisine! I was never aware that sanjha chula serves such amazing kathiyawadi food, we went there for a team dinner and menu was pre-set , it included : <br/>Vagharelo rotlo (5/5) - it was so tasty and everyone amongst us loved it and we had it multiple times<br/>Sukhdi (5/5) - sukhdi is a quick gujarati dessert but it really needs an expertise and sanjha chula’s sukhdi was beyond expectation! Also it’s not in the normal menu we have to explicitly ask them to make but if u visit you have to try if u r a sweet lover!<br/>Main course included : <br/>Baingan bhartha (5/5) - perfectly cooked <br/>Lasaniya batata (4/5) - bhartha and sukhdi overpowered it<br/>Sev tameta (5/5) - loved it totally<br/>Bajri no rotlo (5/5)<br/>Bhakhri (5/5) traditional bhakhri, must try!<br/>Khichdi (5/5) - outstanding <br/>This is place is a good place for dinner as it’s a garden restaurant also they have amazing service , you will feel at home and obviously value for money ! Totally Recommended!

This is the best place where you can go if you love Mosquito bites. This place is full of Mosquitoes and when I told the manager about this, he said that your place will be shifted as soon as another sitting place gets empty. He said that by the time you can place your order and I ordered soup and starter and after that the Manager didn't came to us for asking to change our place even after we had completed our starter. I inquired with another employee to change our sitting place but all in vain. And I had to go to another hotel for the Main course as I walked out after paying for soup and starter.<br/><br/>WORST EXPERIENCE IN LIFE. PATHETIC SERVICE. PATHETIC STAFF. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE.

Apart from ambience not liked anything.<br/>Visited with a group of friends just to have daal bati as someone in the group has heard of it somewhere.<br/>But to be honest dal baati was not even close to good what i was expecting.<br/>

Very nice location. You can enjoy your food in natural air. Great food. If you are waiting then they call your name using mic so that you can here if you are a bit away. Supportive Staff. Highly recommended. Overall a great place to eat with your near ones and dear ones.<br/><br/>Happy Eating... 😉

This is the place to be when you don’t want to be ashamed that your child is creating a ruckus at a restaurant while others are having their dinner thus leading to a lot of unruly stares.<br/><br/>My bro-in-law wanted to avoid this and hence suggested that we head to a garden restaurant so that his one year old can run around and he doesn’t feel embarrassed when he screams.<br/><br/>This was my first visit to the place, I had been to the old Sanjha chulla almost 16 years ago and that visit is still fresh in my memory.<br/><br/>We went on a weekday yet the parking was almost full and there was a waiting!! This one has a huge open ground and cots to sit and have dinner. Just like the old one. There’s also a cradle available for parents who would like to rock their infants to sleep.<br/><br/>Food was okay it didn’t leave a lasting impression nor titillate my taste buds, unlike the old restaurant. We ordered a huge spread for 10 people. We had the basic masala pappad which was way too spicy, malai paneer tasted okay - I didn’t feel the paneer was melt in mouth, I was actually asking everyone where the rotlo was in the “vagharelo rotlo” turned out I wasn’t served properly and the others were able to show me rotlo in their plates!! The Italian sizzler was a major disappointment, where there pieces of toasted bread served with overly cooked pasta in three sauces (white, green and red), the avadhi masala wasn’t appreciated by anyone rather everyone preferred the sanjha chulla special subzi. Thankfully they offer tawa roti. After dinner there was a group of dozen children who enjoyed dancing to the loud music the management played for them. <br/><br/>I felt the place has a vibe of it’s own but the food was not impressionable.

Nice place to eat Kathiyawadi food. Ambience is nice due to open air garden. U can enjoy dinner with full family. Reasonable price, so worth for your pocket 😉👍🏻

Ambience : Typical dhabba feel in this hush- bush of city, Neat and clean, big space, Khaat to seat. 4.5/5<br/><br/>Food : Was worried after reading reviews and rating was on 2.8, still thought to give a try. Awesome food, Infact perfect food, Delicious, When they say butter roti it was full of butter. 4.5/5<br/><br/>Service: Service was not that fast but not an issue if you have everything good I wont mind waiting. As it was Saturday evening and restaurant was full, it was expected to have delayed 3.5/5<br/><br/>A must visit, I will surey visit the again and again. Thank you for making my day!<br/>

One of the worst highway side restaurant I've ever been. Worst management. The food is still good but the pricing has not been kept accordingly. The owners are very harsh and don't treat you properly. Read the menu properly before ordering anything from here.
Darshit Shah
I have been to this place many times. It's really nice place in winter season to sit on traditional seat without foams. I like their North Indian menu. One should try garlic naan with spicy vegetables subji if you are able to handle spice.

North indian cuisine was quite nice. Arrangements was also quite good. Staff service was little bit low.<br/><br/>Ambience and interior was very beautiful.

Very nice food. Service was awesome and highly friendly staff . I went there on kite festival day . Though it was packed , I got my fav dal bati on time and taste was mouthwatering.

Typical dhaba style place on SG Road , visited on a crowded Sunday eve.<br/><br/>Waiting area was having small bon fire places due to chilling wind . Dining area having open lawn with tables and traditional "khatla" giving a cool relaxed feel.<br/><br/>Food : Barring few things order was mainly Kathiyawadi food .<br/><br/>Vagheralo Rotlo : Crumbs of bajra roti saute with curd and spices , nice taste . Must try .<br/><br/>Sev Tomato and Lasaniya Bataka : Two out of three mostly ordered kathiyawadi veg , both were good in taste .<br/><br/>Masala khichdi : Good taste.<br/><br/>Other accompaniments were good , in spite of large capacity , service was quick .<br/><br/>We have been early for dinner so actually waited for proper dinner timing and enjoyed while wait even . Considering heavy rush later on in eve. which can detoriate the service , its recommended to visit where not having great rush.<br/><br/>

okk i went there with my friends, we were grp of 10 . we waited for 1 hr nd thn after discussion with manager we got 2 separate tables. food was nice but service was pathetic. they didn’t serve well . waiters don’t even stop to listen your order. there were no spoons or forks on our tables, no tissue paper , no salt and black paper . nothing .. after calling them atleast for 10 times they arrive and don’t wait enough to let me finish my order . they know nothing about what’s available to their restaurant and what’s not . worst experience ever . 1.5 star for food only .

I went there with my family.. Loved this place... Must visit.. The restaurant will give u a complete experience of traditional dhaba.. Amazing food.. Waiting to go again..

Excellent food with garden restaurant experience. Among other things, we had Maxican Tortilla soup, which was awesome. It might not be an authentic Maxican recipe but with a hint of Mexican taste, it was better than the routine varieties of soup available at other places. <br/><br/>If you wish to visit a restaurant with your kids your little ones are going to like this place.
Amit
Visiting Ahmedabad from Mumbai... It's pleasant to see such an open space with traditional setting. <br/><br/>In terms of menu loved to see the variety of traditional food. Dal batti was not at all worth the taste. Red pasta ordered for kids was tooooo spicy inspite of special instructions. <br/><br/>Good experience though
Prateek
Have been to this restaurant quite a few no.of times. Till few months back, this was a good restaurant. Lately, the cleanliness has come down drastically. The cots, utensils and the ambiance has become dirty. The food taste has also come down. Would not like to come here again.

On 10th September 2017, sunday Order. Mojito but giving cold drink soda and added some mint and leamon peace. Not satisfied with the quality.

Ambiance 5/10<br/>Food 7/10<br/>Service 6/10<br/><br/>Winter is best tym to visit.. gives "dhaba open air" feeling.<br/><br/>Must try Masala khichdi, vagharelo rotlo, dal fry
Meghani Sahu
Food 3/5 service 3/5.ambience 2/5 quality of the food was good but did not like the ambience.. Need to renovate their interiors... Garden seating arrangement is their for regular outing it is fine but for some special occasion they should work on their ambience n chairs etc
Trusha Patel
Been there today!!!!By just placing "new" in the name of the restaurant ....but nothing that much new about this restaurant. The sitting arrangement was same, menu same, taste was as usual. I ordered Punjabi +Kathiyawadi dishes.Orderd baked dish .....it was good with crispy cheesy layer..loved it. Punjabi sabjis are not much good..taste was not good.Orderd dal baati....taste of daal was very bad...(order it last)it's spoil the climax of the picture...Lolzzz<br/><br/>Over all experience...if you r in grup and find out economical restaurant..den this should be prefered... otherwise not much satisfied.<br/>
Riyaz Ladhani
Had been there on Valentines day... First thing first manager/executive who greet you and show the table is not aware about how many tables are still vacant and asked us to wait...we saw many tables vacant so we found one and sat... so better u also do the same thing😜😜<br/><br/>About food: We tried Masala Papad with Manchow soup which was reasonably good...and then ordered Chinese Sizzler which was awesome...a little more juicy with extra souce would have made it perfect...but all in all nice experience...Waiters and service is very nice...😍<br/><br/>They don't accept card and Paytm, so ensure enough cash in hand when you pitch in.
Neha
Heard alot about it so was very curious to visit this place. Landed there today with a roadside dhaba ambiance with wooden bed. Ordered dhaba style dishes like masala papad, veg seekh kebabs, gujarati vagharelo rotlo but all was below average. didn't like anybof these. Staff should be groomed there.
Shalin Buddhadev
One of the top restaurants on the Adalaj-Sg Highway, you will always find decent tasting food all the times.<br/>Visited them both on peak and slack timings. They have always served good food and the service is prompt.<br/>The pricing is on the average affordable range.<br/><br/>Must try place for groups, reason being they have a large garden area.
Parthlochan Bayanwala
<br/>It is an ideal place for winters.... It has outdoor seating arrangements...<br/><br/>It is located a 25 minutes drive from main Ahmedabad....<br/><br/>It is located on the main Gandhinagar highway....<br/><br/>I have tasted its punjabi cuisine.... Fairly decent.... Service is good but can be a little prompt.... <br/><br/>The main attraction here, is the ambience & outdoor dining area....<br/><br/>With a big group, it is really fun here.... <br/><br/>

Visited this place after long time.. After waiting for 25-30 minutes we got table.. We ordered enough number of dishes as we were group of 9 members.. Service was little slow and management people were not attentive enough.. Talking about food taste, it was a time when taste of this restaurant was famous and specially for dal bati.. Same repeated this time.. I liked dal bati but other punjabi food was average.. Prices are on average side.. Not to high and not also less... Overall had average experience..

If u plan on saturday or sunday for having dinner..den i would suggest Pls Dont choose diz..ders no any service and also half of items in d menu are not available.. U hv to choice according der availability not as per der menu..They should increase d staff on weekend if dey cant handle d more crowd..
Shardul Naik
I have visited the place 3 times so far. It is good for evening hangouts with friends and family. The food is just ok not great. Some of the dishes are good, mainly in kathiyavadi menu. They arrange campfire in the waiting lawn, that is adding the numbers in visitors and ratings too!!
Samir Vithlani
if possible i will give minus star third class service..more than 7 to 8 items not available so i suggest please change menu.and improve your service

To be frank I did not have a good time at all. Firstly there was a good 60 mins waiting. When we finally sat down we were being hovered over for our order. We had to tell the staff to give us a moment to decide. Then when our food arrived we had to specifically tell them to slow down. We were not even done with our soup when they started preparing for our main course. During our dinner no one paid attention to our table. We had to place the used plates on ground to make space for our food. <br/><br/>If I talk about the food it was OK in terms of taste and wasn't worth the trouble we went through. <br/><br/>We ordered a Manchow Soup which was ordinary in taste. We also had paneer pudina tikka, the paneer was fresh but the taste and presentation not so much. The best of the lot was vagharelo rotlo which tasted really good but again I wasn't very happy with the quantity. For the main course we had Nargisi Kofta and Paneer Amritsati both of them were average in taste. We ordered a garlic naan, tandoori roti and fulka roti, all of them were too stretchy and OK in terms of taste. I was really unhappy with the roti because when I reordered them they just brought it and kept it on our table. They should really have paid attention. <br/><br/>After our meal we decided to pay our bill through card but they don't accept cards. So we inquired if they accepted Paytm which they did but we were forced to pay half through cash and half online. I would really urge the restaurant to cope up with the upcoming demonitozation policies. <br/><br/>All in I am really upset with my experience I remember it very differently when I visited this place as a child.<br/><br/>I would dodge this place if I was given a chance.<br/>Thank you for reading<br/>The Tummy Man<br/>Utsav Shah

Awesome food taste with really reasonable price tag, with good open space and desi style seating. Good for group dianing with kids, been there many times.

On an one fine evening we decided to go for sanjha chulla. We were going with huge expectations but none of them were fulfilled. After waiting for one hour we got the table. Staff's attitude is very poor & it will need improvement. We ordered masala papad, roasted papad, manchow soup, paneer phudina tikka starter, paneer amritsari, nargisi kofta, butter roti, garlic naan, vagharelo rotlo & butter milk. All these items were ok nothing extraordinary. Last thing they don't accept cards plus they mentioned that Paytm accepted but they don't accept the full bill amount by Paytm. Only half amount accepted by Paytm & remaining must be paid in cash. Overall one can skip this place.

Went to this place for the same time...<br/>Well since its a highway restaurant it's really quiet. if you're looking for 'dhaba' food Um there's bandhan and madhuli right besides it. The food is mediocre. Service isnt great. I saw a waiter spill chhas on a diner..But it's one of the few quite outdoor places in ahmedabad..and they even have fireplaces (taapnu) after your meals it's really worth sitting around it..great to go with friends.
KHiLaN
Nice sitting arrangements but the Food taste is average and the quality is not so good. You can find more restaurants in same price range in ahmedabad but you are finding a garden restaurant then this is best.
Kaarnik & Meera
This garden restaurant is serving nice punjabi food<br/>Me & my friend once decide to try this place <br/>the location is near adalaj circle<br/>its an open garden restro<br/>Dhaba style seating <br/>so better you will like in winter<br/>food was good and testy  <br/>Love the test whatever we have ordered<br/>On the HIghway restaurant I suggest You give it a shot you wont be disappointed<br/>P.S (dont go on sunday)

panir shaahlik sizler was superb at this place but soop me maja nahi aaya kaju kari bhi achxhi banate hai har bar batana padta hai ki soup kyu thanda dete ho
Dolu Darshan Shah
A capacious place with lawn n sitting places and also with good parking facility.<br/>This place is over hyped. <br/><br/>Had ordered labbabdar panner and veg jaipuri with the captains reference and even though the food showed up was very dull and poor. Even the roti was very chewy. Chaas was average. <br/><br/>
Mayur Pandya
The worst restaurant ever. I went there @ 10 pm with my whole family. No sizzlers, no pizza, no ice-cream or dessert, super rude waiters, "wish he goes to hell" like manager. Didn't tell us about so many things missing from the menu until we started ordering. Even after taking orders, after probably 20-30 minutes, Told us that they don't have stuff. more then 75 % of the menu was not available. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Instead, try Bandhan on the other side of the road. Good ambience, food and service.
Gokul Shah
Good food must try their sanja chulha special subji, best service but u need to book it prior as much rush, we have given order of chees masala papad, lasaniya, their special subji. Nice food muat try @
Rashna Daruwalla
The garden restaurant is very spacious and the old place.<br/>Choice of menu includes all cuisines.<br/>A must try is the lassi, bhindi, pander phataka.quality of naan is excellent. <br/>Quantity is also good.<br/>Must visit the place

Good food at reasonable price. Further, the ambience is also good and enjoyable. Also the service is good. Overall very good experience and definitely recommend it.

A garden restaurant with nothing new in the menu, food was good specially like their balti paneer it was delicious, cheese hara bhara kabab, masala khichdi, kadi was so so but really liked their tawa roti,<br/>service can be improved, overall a mix experience :)
Parth Bhatt
An open garden restaurant on the highway. The food is spicy unless you order it otherwise.<br/>They do have sizzlers on the menu. So had ordered paneer n stuffed veg with pineapple and it tasted great. We also ordered kathiawadi food which was ok. Overall a good place to visit with a group.<br/>
Himanshu Ghiya
You get a very rajasthani feel when you see the ambiance of the restaurant. The food is nice specially the spice in the curries. Must say a very good choice for economic food.
Kaynat Shaikh
Good food!! Lots of option to choose from sometimes confused you.<br/>One Should not expect fine dine experience at dhaba style restaurant. But if they can work on the service people it would be great.<br/>Its more fun to be there with group of people as you can enjoy waiting time between the meals. Kids gets good space to play so you can enjoy the food.

It's far far away from bopal...but during return from job which is from Gandhinagar...I always shows decorated lighting...and 1weekend day we decided to stop by that place... nice Ambient....average Food qlty....Food come after 25 minutes...and oily...too much oily
Vinod Bafna
Nice experience good place for family dinner. Food us good. Service is also good. But some item in menu not available in holy day. But all n over nice seating is so good
Nirav Kotak
Visited it with my friends. <br/><br/>Because of weekends, it was overly crowded. We had to wait for 40 mins to get a table. Quite a noisy place.<br/><br/>But good thing is it's an open restaurant spread on a nice big lawn. The place is clean. The service is quite good. I liked the seating arrangement very much.<br/><br/>And last, the most important thing, food. I must say it was up to the mark. True value for money. Tasty food served perfectly. I would recommend North Indian food and Dalbati. :)
Devanshi Yagnik
Bad experience...Will never visit this place again ..poor service.....half of the food items wer not available though it was listed in menu and suggested by staff him self....food quality was poor....

The food was great. Although a little less in quantity. Also the inside seating area was too over-fragrant. One must definitely order 'Wagharelo Rotla' there. :P

Nice location on s.g.highway. Good environment. Nice seating arrangement. Good ambience. But food is usual. Not up to mark. We tried Punjabi. Start with minestrone soup that was very sweet average taste. Location base 3.5* but on food base 1.5*. Once have to visit.

A very well set up place with energetic wait staff. Went there with a friend on a cold evening . While my friend recommended daal baati there, we opted for a soup, a sabji and rotis. We opted to sit in the lawn despite the cold. The soup was strongly flavored and hot, much appreciated in the cold. The sabji too arrived piping hot and unlike most other places of the kind, the rotis were made as per our customized requirements. The wait staff was courteous, humorous and witty which added a zing to our experience here. Will definitely recommend this place.

Nice place to have a punjabi cuisine. The place is good but food is as usual we can have the taste everywhere. But a good place to go if you have a great group.

The place is superb after enjoying one of the function of my sister's wedding at this place we use to visit this place very often as the kathiyawadi is superb and punjabi too I am not aware about the other dishes but maybe no complaint about other dishes too as they maybe good too. The best dish you can asked them is "VAGHARELO ROTLO" don't you forget this dish it's the best one i think in Ahmedabad.. I recommend this restaurant.

Nicely located, with a very large space and garden.  Ample parking and play area for kids.  Food and service are simply pathetic.  Quality of food is very bad, its neither good in taste nor in quality.  Prices do not commensurate with the quality.<br/><br/>Service is also poor, would recommend this as simply avoid

I went there for lunch yesterday and I liked their whole arrangement. The menu was interesting and we ordered smoked paneer and vagharelo rotlo. Both of them were amazing. The prices too were not so high. They have indoor and outdoor sitting arrangement so you can choose what you want if you go for dinner. For lunch only indoor arrangement is available. The only issue we had was, they don't accept cards. So even if you are planning for a party or a large get together, you'll have to pay in cash. Other than that, it was a nice experience.

Nice interior of the place. Nice dal baati. Nice sabjis. Everything in this place Is nice. But they should also have more varieties. They just have dal baati, sabji roti, etc. <br/>Ambiance - 5/5<br/>Food - 4/5<br/>Service - 3/5<br/>Varieties - 2.5/5

Perfect ambiance for a highway restaurant, little bit outer yet now far..<br/>Service is prompt and staff are gentle.<br/>Enjoyed Dal baati churma and methi papad saag. Taste was good.<br/>The best part you get your food on time even on Saturday dinner.. :)<br/><br/>To end this a special thanks to Saumya for being my Zomato today.

It was my Birthday treat to my family. My wife and My daughter loved this place, Cold out there and we had really nice time over there. <br/><br/>The Food was awesome and delicious.<br/><br/>We had ordered Broccoli Almond Soup, Vagharelo Rotlo as Starter, Spl. Sanjha Chulha Smoked Paneer Sabji, Butter Roti and Masala Papad.. It was all enough for us. Vagharelo Rotlo was Awesome. their Rotis were so soft. Their Special Sabzi had indeed flavour of smokey Paneer and Cashew. the Gravy has all the taste. <br/><br/>I suggest and request this Restaurant, please put up small Wood Fire place when cold is there, in winter it gives you warm feeling while having dinner. It is like Icing on the cake.

With an outdoor setting and location on a highway, this restaurant scores full marks for Ambiance. However huge improvement can be made in service and food quality categories. I went there in July last week with office colleagues. I do not remember what we ate there, but everything from soup to dessert was decent and pocket-friendly.

Try out cheese 🍕 garlic naan. There were utterly delicious. Nice ambience and so was hospitality. A fair option to dine🍴 at outskirt.. 😊

The food is pathetic, the food never tasted like kathiyawadi food...lasaniya bataka was poor the sev tomato was awful and the worst was Masala khichdi....A poor and pathetic place

This restaurant used to be a good place once but over time food quality has deteriorated. recently went on my mom's bday on 15th july. ordered paneer tika and kebab as starter. found them to b satisfying, but the paneer adraki and nan were a complete let down. we had ordered nan and they got us roti, when we asked them to replace , they took so long that our sabzi became cold, and tasteless as it was and hunger pangs kicked and went. to add on the restaurant was empty at that time. will never visit again.

Sitting and having food on charpai is a bit different type of experience ..<br/>The price is pocket friendly <br/>The food is ok <br/>Service is also ok <br/>

Has a nice village feel and has a well cooked food. It's neither too spicy nor too oily. Service also is good. Overall, a nice restaurant to hang out.

Food quality and taste both were good.<br/>Seevice was also good.<br/>Because it is garden restaurant, very spacious.<br/>Perfect place for giving party to friends.<br/>Because, it seems costly restaurant but not actually.
Divyaraj Jhala
Please don't go here!!! It's a party plot converted in restaurant and food is of worse quality. Everything was extra sweet and service was not good.. buttermilk was greenish and tasted bad. Any highway dhabas are better than this.. Old Sanjha chulla was great. Now it's ruined.
Jignesh Pathak
Most disappointing.<br/>No creativity with Mocktail<br/>No cheesy taste in cheese cigar.<br/>No smocky flover in SC's sp.-smokypaneer.<br/> Mocktail, buttermilk served inplastic glass...Service is good. Ambiance and food below average.
Safal Pandya
Sanjha chulla is on of the oldest Thaba on S.G Highway , there legacy continue new with this newly opened unit.<br/><br/>We got our turn after 90 min of waiting, waiting was worthy as Food is good and service was very good (even on Sunday ) . <br/>A must visit place for Punjabi food lover.<br/>

Beautiful open garden restaurant. It's one of the old legendary places on sg highway. Looks like they have renovated and re-opened.<br/><br/>The food was alright. I did not find anything bad or good. I saw some continental items on the menu but I was not able to plunge in for it and kept myself limited to Indian cuisine. Over all you can try them out.
Rajan Shah
