We were 6 family members visited this Dine-In restaurant for very first time to celebrate a birthday dinner party.<br/>As we like Kathiyawadi food much, we've ordered Kathiyawadi Sabji Roti & Kadhi Khichdi in main meal course. For starter, we've ordered Hara bhara kebabs & Manchurian gravy platter.<br/>Kebabs & Manchurian were good in taste, especially Kebabs more tasty than Manchurian. Portion size was Ok.<br/>Taste of Lasaniya Bataka sabji was quite good but the other one, Sev dungli was not upto the mark. I like Kadhi Khichdi more than the Roti Sabji here. Portion size of main course was also not as per expectations.<br/>Seatings arrangement was good, ambience & interiors were so cozy. But table service was too slow and service staff behaviour & response were also not as per a quality restaurant staff.<br/>Main throwback is the Menu Prices. Despite having less portion size & average food taste, prices are so high that I can't believe.<br/>Overall experience was Ok to Good. But not at par.<br/>Kathiyawadi food lovers can visit once to understand the difference between Open Garden Restaurant / Dhaba and Dine-In Restaurant.

I ordered a paneer tikka masala spice parcel from your restaurant. My experience was very bad that what I was about to eat was quite tasty and only partially heated.<br/><br/>

They serve free cockroach with dal bati, worst ever experience. They should seriously need to take some action towards their hygiene........🤯🤯🤯😤😤😤😤<br/>

Food is best....price and food test is jordar ....and khadhiyavadi is more extra best .... vagharelo rotlo ..ringan bharthu .. besan gatta ..... staff is cooperative and ambiance is beautiful and well designed and decorative.....

Tissue paper and spoon were not given! How are we suppose to eat and clean up after eating. This is something very important you should take care about.

Kathiyawadi thali was awesome. Didn't like their dal-bati that much. The bati were dry and the dal contained whole garlic cloves which I personally don't like. But, I liked the way they offered jaggery and ghee with dal-bati. All in all, an average desi food destination.

Shree Marutinandan is very well known food joint in the city..... It has so many branches.... This outlet's ambience is traditionally classy.... Authentic kathiyawadi food .... Staff is co operative... Quantity and quality is good.... Worth visit

Best #dalbati in #ahmedabad - Dal is spiced to sooth ones palate, but not spiced over the top. The crunch and grainy of Bati is just par excellence. Had been to #rajasthan several times, but hard to find a match for dalbati of this warm place. One need to be here to taste color and flavour of India.<br/>

Naan is very wet. we have ordered sprit but received thumbs up.

Whenever try for online order it's show Always closed for online ordering. Rediculas. N it'd only closed for zomato and available on swiggy.😅😅

Food is ok but what i want to comment is on the hygiene. May be because it was diwali n they couldnt handle the rush or mat be something else, but it wasnt hygienic. The table or the achar kept on the table, the cutlery just everything. That spoilt half the mood for the food. We ordered vagharelo rotlo, baingan bharta( not good) ,bharela marcha, bajra rotla and masal khichdi( this was good). For a better kathiyavadi experience, would recommend gopi dining.

It was our first time in Ahmedabad, and my colleague and I decided to try some authentic kathiawadi food. As suggested by one of the locals, we went to Marutinandan Kathiawadi Restaurant. And fortunately we weren't disappointed. We ordered Dahi Fry, Karela bharela, bajra roti, kathiawadi special thali and chhaanch. overall the food was good. My favorite dish was Dahi Fry. It is a must Try.

Never order any sizlers cz it tastes like chinese and i hate that taste. Tava paratha was also pathetic.<br/>Please do not order anything rather then gujarati food.

Food Is good , Staff good , Food Served was fresh and made as per choice , In this area food cost and ambiance is Too good .. no comparison with any other hotel or Restaurant on this road and in this area . I regularly clean the dish where ever i go but here i have found the dishes were cleaned properly before serving the food ..

I ordered Food 1st time from Shree Marutinandan. All Food were nice except sandwich. Cucumber was bitter in sandwich. Need to improve the sandwich quality.

5 out of 5 everything. Taste, ambience and everything. Had masala papad, tomato soup, paneer chilly, vagharelo rotlo, masala chhas, cheese kofta, garlic naan, cheese naan, jeera rice and dal tadka. No complain at all. Taste, service and everything was upto the mark. And star was cheese kofta. Keep up the good work guys.😊😋

The food was pathetic and the staff was rude and not helpful at all. The service was slow. Food was tasteless and when asked to the staff to get it changed they argued rudely. The glasses the spoons, dishes were dirty. 1 star cause I had to compulsorily give otherwise it doesn’t even deserve 1 star

Have been to this place many times. Sometimes just for family dinner and sometimes for some functions. Food is okay. I love the kathiyawadi food for which it is well known but they certainly need to improve on North Indian and Chinese dishes.Hetan Thakkar

After disappointment at Choice snack bar we went to this restaurant as it was nearby. Again very much disappointed. Too much oil in everything. Can't even taste of the vegetables in sabji. Only oil and masala. Will never come back or go to any of their restaurants.

we visited marutinandan at zydus hospital road and found the staff to be very uncooperative. We were not informed about closing and final order. During our lunch we ordered ome more vegetable bit they refused saying that the cooks have gone and we had to leave the lunch midway. We have been eating at marutinandan for over seven years but now we have decided never to go at marutinandan again. <br/><br/>VERY BAD SERVICE & STAFF.<br/><br/>

Rates in menu And Zomato app are different . The prices are doubled. Zomato should check against this fraud restaurants and take appropriate action<br/>

Ordered Masala Khichdi. It was very spicy. even though i specifically mentioned it in order to make it less spicy. I had acidity problem due to such spicy stuff

Don’t try those who don’t like sweet subjis.<br/><br/>Otherwise everything was good.

The interior was very good as well as the seating was also good. But hello, i was there to eat and the food was not good at all. Also it was very expensive with not much good taste. Infact some dhabas serves better food than this place. Disappointed.
