Review Cafe Tilla - Ahmedabad

A cute beautiful and romantic cafe!! Feels like you are having lunch or dinner in greenhouse. Must try Alfredo pasta!! Most satisfying place and a great vibe.

A good cozy comfy place but the menu is limited

Ambience was great. Staff was good. Prices were okay as per the quantity of the food. But the quality omg, it was amazing. I tried Aloo paratha which is not on their menu but that day it was on their special menu board. The quality was really good. They also have shop of clothes right beside the cafe.

Tilla- a place with calm and peaceful atmosphere with aesthetic interior. They even have their shop of clothes. Covered in greenery. They have a small menu but very unique varieties of food and drinks. We tried their 'special of the day' Aloo Paratha, they were really delicious. I would suggest this place to everyone. It's worth visiting.

It's a small, inconspicuous looking cafe amidst a mostly residential area and is a bit difficult to locate when you are going here for the first time. Since it is surrounded by residential buildings, parking is a major issue, especially for cars. There isn't enough parking space even for a few cars. The ambiance is quite bright and refreshingly different from most other cafés. The interiors have been carefully designed - the plants on the shelves near the ceiling stands out brightly against the white backdrop of the walls. Even the seating is quite comfortable, both outdoor as well as indoor. The service wasn't quite up to the mark, as the waiters and servers were quite confused while interacting with patrons and they aren't even quite familiar with the menu. The menu is quite a weird combination of dishes from various cuisines, which don't quite go well together, however, most of the dishes on their own are quite good. On my plate Paneer samosa - these seemed a bit overpriced to me, but they tasted good enough, so, no complaints here. Sautéed baby potatoes - surprisingly, I liked these quite a bit. The baby potatoes were properly boiled and then sautéed and tossed in a delectable combination of spices. Korma with set dosa - the Korma was quite good, although a bit too sweet for my liking. However, the dosas served with the korma were just average and not quite fluffy. Needless to say, I don't think the dish is anything extraordinary. Sattu Paratha - the beet chutney and the freshly-made pickle served with these parathas was delectable. However, the filling inside the parathas was quite dry which cause the parathas to crumble - not making it easy to be eaten like a Paratha. The taste, however, was quite good, and I would have loved it if the parathas didn't break before I could eat them. Stir fried vegetables with rice - this is one of the most curious dishes I tried here, generally, in Ahmedabad, I presume, when they say stir fried vegetables, that it is going to taste like Chinese. However, the stir fried vegetables that they served was a curious concoction of peanut butter, sesame, and other spices, and I absolutely loved it. Even the rice were perfectly cooked. Value for money - the portion sizes are considerably if not very large, thus, offering great value for money.

A lovely place. The decor and ambience are something that is highly uncommon to ahmedabad and is characteristically sauve. The food is simple yet great. The plating too is elegant and the ice creams are one of a kind. Lovely place. Kind of a hidden gem when it comes to the ahmedabadi food scene.

Very finely curated menu, with good collection of some really nice books. This is one reasonably priced place with great ambiance and lush green environment. Good ambience, food, service and staff. Great taste. This is an upscale art café which is a novelty in this part of the town. This café is few blocks away from NID and has some pretty furniture and pretty colorful walls. Café Tilla does a lot authentic Gujarati dishes in between, especially festival times. It also has a good gifts and souvenirs shop.

A quaint, cosy little café tucked into a bylane, Café Tilla scores major points on a lush green ambience, comfort food and friendly service. It's now one of my favourite cafés and I know I will keep going back again and again!

Located near NID, cafe Tilla is a cozy outlet which surely turns out to be an underdog in the food industry. It gets a bit difficult to locate the cafe and parking here is also an issue that's to some non-cooperative neighbours. However once you are here, the ambience will surely appease you. All decked in white the interiors make you feel at peace. Soft music in background and a bunch of plants on the walls make it a really soothing dining experience. The menu is in the form of a small booklet and consists of various mixed cuisines. We tried out Sautted Baby potato's -A perfect blend of spices and baby potatoes. A sure shot delicacy. Sattu paratha - A crunchy paratha stuffed with chana served with beetroot chutney. Found the stuffing to be a bit dry. Not the best but surely something different. The chutney and pickle made it a better deal. Set Dosa with Korma - Have tried it at a couple of famous south Indian joints, this one was surely the best. The Dosa was amply soft and one can feel it to be pretty fresh. The korma too tasted great. Paneer samosa - 5 pieces if tiny samosa stuffed with paneer and chilli. The dish is a must have. Stir fried vegetable with rice - The vegetable gravy was more on a peanut base and did not go well with all, but surely suits a peanut lover. Found the rates to be pretty fine for the quantity offered. PS. The serving portions are not too huge so do check out for the exact portion served for each dish.

I'm in love with the ambience of this cafe✨🤎 It gives pure aesthetic vibes. So calming and surrounded by greenery 🌿. I tried adrak phudina chai, it was good. Must visit here if you love peaceful place🤍

Simple and sweet place for a cafe to hangout. I really liked the banana date mixed shake.

A little conjusted but ok for paldi area. Food was ok. I think they serve till 11pm hence they started coming to the table again and again from 1030. Also if you want to have one-to-one conversation then this place is not for you. They also do not have parking.

Cafe tilla #NewFind #Highlyrecommended Spotted this place last Monday whilst on my way to a friend's studio in the vicinity and immediately made a mental note for a Saturday Night dinner plan. Set in a pretty neat bungalow off the bustling roads neighbouring the National Institute of Design, India this cafe is in fact run and operated by three NID alumni. Two of them are practising designers in their own accord and have a fully operational studio in the same premise. Why I offered a background?! because it is essential to know there are many like all of us who love food to an extent that it becomes a hobby for them besides their primary professions! The pristine decor of this place is very calming. A handpicked collection of music from a mix of genres accompanies you while you wait for the food. FOOD Saunf Sherbet: True to its word this deliciously cooling drink has fragrance and flavour fennel in each sip with no added colour or artificial additives. Dahi Sandwich: Spiced hung curd spread between the layer of lightly grilled bread slices. It’ll make you question the invention of OTS mayonnaise. Onion Mushroom Soup: A mushroom cappuccino! Rich and filling. Korma with Set Dosa: This creamy Indian vegetable korma amplified the fun of dunking Set dosa in it! Loaded with mushrooms, onions, peppers, potatoes; it is a comfort meal! Sattu Paratha: The roasted gram filling was very well spiced. The highlight of this dish was the fresh in-house pickle made from tindora-marcha-gaajar and split mustard seeds. We binged on this pickle, shamelessly so. Sauteed Baby Potatoes: The beauty of this preparation lies in its simplicity and nonchalance. The boiled/baked potatoes are marinated so perfectly that the flavour seeps right through the centre of it! The herbs and oil, together make this the perfect starter, main course or just a snack! Barley Apple Pomegranate: Barley so perfectly cooked; made for a pleasing salad! Banana Chocolate Pancakes: One word. Perfect. I cannot believe I’m advocating an eggless pancake. The butterscotch crunch inside broke the monotony of the pancake-chocolate-banana in such an enjoyable manner. Caramel Cake: Oh my! The cake along with the fudge-y caramel sauce on the top was a winner! Lemon Cake: Tad dry for my taste. But perfect in flavour! Vanilla Charcoal Icecream: The colour so gorgeous, the taste so subtle! Rose Coconut Icecream: Loved the delicateness of the two nuances. Guava Icecream: Freshly made, it was like eating a frozen guava. Surreal. We polished All of this between the three of us. Speaks for the ingredients and the love whilst making the food. The Cafe invokes an appreciative sense of eating. The effortless interaction by the owners is very welcoming. Location: Narayan Nagar Road, Opp.Union Bank, Paldi Timing: 12pm to 11pm. Closed on Mondays

Good ambience, food, service and staff. Great taste. They do a lot authentic Gujarati dishes in between, especially festival times. A good gifts and souvenirs shop is also there by the side.
Setu Goyal
Their food menu is quite unique and the ingredients they use are real good quality as well. Beautiful minimal interiors and good service ( the waiters could be trained better though) . I tried the orange cinnamon iced tea and the banana chocolate crêpe , and it was delicious.

TBH this is one of the best place to hangout with your loved one's in entire Paldi now !! Right from the entrance this place gives such an amazing aura of being at your own home !!💕 They have arranged few chairs with table right in the entrance for waiting/ seating out in open ! Also, they have three separate seating area's purposefully !! The first area for seating is Ice-Cream corner where in hardly 10 people can get in at a time which is quite cozy and well managed. The second one is under roof seating which is fully mind blowing !! The third one is Outdoor Seating under leaves and tree which is literally awesome for winter's. 💖 I've like fallen in love with this place since I have visited here. Completely warm and cosy for a perfect candle light dinner or romantic date !! Even the restroom is also so well maintained which is a requisite thing. Let's talk about FOOD now. I have had few iced-tea here which were pretty cool !! We also have had some baked cake's and cookies here which were above normal in presentation and also in taste ! The staff members are also very educated and well behaved. Thumbs up to their preserverence. 👍 The most biggest factor that attracts me towards this place is it's calm and cozy ambience, despite of the fact that it's very close to roadway !! Must visit Cafe!! Undeniably visiting back soon. Thanks for having me Cafe Tilla ✌️

This cozy cafe on main road but couldn’t able to locate it due to no sign board there, inner and outdoor seating area good seating area. Tried their tea which was ok in taste but price was too high compared to money they charge. Overall ok experience.
Mili Chalishazar
Cafe is sort of ok but the service is too slow and it didn’t have most of the food items on the menu available. Even after taking order they didn’t serve it for more than half an hour and afterwards they said that the soft drink ordered is unavailable. Can’t recommend this cafe to anyone else. The food was hardly tasty.

Great food. Chill vibe.

Tills offers food that’s quiet unique and not so mainstream! The restaurant is unusually green and beautiful yet modern and functional. They have an amazing collection of books and games for anyone looking for that. Otherwise, the food is all great and so are the smoothies!

I don’t usually do food recommendations at restaurants I review but I’d like to convince anyone going here to try the Mexican salad and the happy cheese sandwich.
Purva Dwivedi
Sadly this restaurant has lowered their standards of treating their customers well. I had a great experience earlier here for which I rated the restaurant 5 and now utterly disappointed .. I had a soup here which was completely bland and didn't taste as it actually should. So I returned it entirely after having a single spoon. We ordered other dishes to get it replaced and in turn we get this horrible behaviour of the attendant..

Also I have never seen at any place nachos beimg served with mozzarella but still I didn't think it should be complained on the issue of cheese. I ordered extra dish just as a replacement for soup but I have to ask thats the way to treat a good customer????

Not even caring to replace the dish or care to ask how to make any amends. Even the service is not as it used to be earlier along with the food and attitude of the people.

Truly dissappointed!!!!!

Ashmit
Good service. Food was awful.

This is my third visit to Cafe Tilla. I ordered their mexican salad (half portion)—I was happy about the portion size and flavour but my lettuce was bitter. My mushroom & spinach savoury crepes were again made nicely but lacked any bit of salt and pepper. Cappuccino was a sheer disappointment. It was watery and needed more coffee in it.

Didn’t enjoy my visit there.. we were there to celebrate birthday.. a group of 10 was asked to keep silence.. i mean hello..do you not see 10 people?? Pls have a notice not allowing group..open a library instead!! Ruined my birthday!
Het Khatri
A small place perfect for hanging out with friends or enjoying a cup by yourself. Pleasant ambience with great staff makes this place my go to for aome quality time.
Foram
Nice decent place to have chit chat with your friends.
Very quite at times , people just enjoying their food and doin their personal work.
We had ordered garden fresh pizza .. which was nicely cooked but light spicy. Cappachino was not upto the mark. Show stealer was their cheese sandwich with basil n tomato which tasted new to taste buds. !! Also the gin tonic tea and peach icecream was good !

Cafe Tilla is near NID college, Ahmedabad. One of the good cafes near by. I had visited it with some of my friends, a good place to chill and hangout. We had ordered Mexican Salad, Bagel and Ice tea. Mexican salad was more of like nachos & toppings of it. But the taste was really really good. The bagel tastes something different, felt the price a bit more for it. The best was Ice tea, even loved the taste of foam
Hungerbuds
They have really decent food and amazing ambience, and peaceful place to work and open sitting area (smoking area).
I tried caramel cupcake - whole different level of yumm🤤
And sattu ka ghol - that was new for me
And of course cappuccino - the best♥️
#zomato

This is a nice little cafe and they have a variety of heathy options to choose from.
Totally love their korma with dosa and chats.
It is clean and vibrant!

Ordered idli. They were extremely oily and overloaded with sesame seeds! None of this is mentioned in the menu or item description.

Please note Mr/Mrs Chef/ Management team - the idli’s were atrocious is not the word!

One of the few places in Ahmedabad that offers vegan food. Extremely disappointed that they just did not send vegan food inspite of the fact that the items in the menu pesto mushroom pizza and sattu Parantha are marked vegan. It was also mentioned in the order that the food should be vegan. Zomato's customer support is not working. Cafe Tilla say they can't send anyone to replace the food. Never order on Zomato from cafe Tilla if you're a vegan. Utterly disappointed.
Gaurish Paranjape
Highly overrated cafe.
Never ever eat pasta from this cafe .
Highly priced but ridiculous in taste .
Never go to this place, I repeat never.

Food - 3.5
Ambience - 4.5
Service - 3.5

Milkshakes are great here. Try desserts and sandwiches. I suggest not to opt for small eats in the menu.

1 star for the ambience
1 star for the menu
1 for food quantity
But overall service wasn't that great
But the place is nice
Something was missing in the whole experience

lovely little quaint cafe with a low key under the radar vibe. attracts classy crowd for the most part. the staff could use a little lesson on patience. However, the serene outdoor seating makes up for just about anything negative.

The cafe has really good vibes. And the food is also quite good. The crowd was up to the mark. The service was also good. Over all it was a nice experience. We ordered several things.
Onion mushroom soup- 4/5
Savory crepes - 5/5
Koma with set Dosa - 4/5
Lemon cake - 2/5
Ginger beer - 3/5
Highly recommend this cafe for good food and great ambiance.

The best ice cream of Ahmedabad that I have had!! The strawberry goblet is something you cannot miss.
Apple celery kiwi cinnamon juice is brilliant.
Everything besides the Italian Food was on point. Try the Dahi sandwich.
Mushroom onion soup.
Thupka soup in Jain was not great.

"Tilla" , the cafe is situated in the midst of the hustling city yet when you enter the cafe , the greenery and cosy white interiors will give you peaceful vibes. Tilla is unlike the regular cafes we have in ahmedabad , When it comes to ambience , i am in awe of this place. The food menu contains much variety. The menu is varied . In frame :-
•
•
•
•
Chocolate shake :- The chocolate shake was so so yummy . The thickness was as it ought to be. Chocolaty but on the other side the sugar was so well balanced. Hands down for the shake !! (4/5)
•
•
•
•
Margherita Pizza : The pizza was topped with their home-made tomato sauce , basil leaves and cheese .The sauce lacked tanginess. I felt the sauce was more on the sweeter side and hence i did not like the pizza much . The pizza could have been more cheesy . The taste was average nothing extraordinary . (2.5/5)
•
•
•
•
Vanilla Charcoal and rose coconut ice cream : The place serves variety of ice creams. Vanilla Charcoal being one of my favourite , the flavour was fairly mild .The colour looked so so gorgeous . . Rose coconut icecream had perfect balance of rose and coconut flavour .Tilla's icecream are a MUST MUST try !!! (4/5)
•
•
•
•
Happy Cheese Sandwich :- Oh my my !! The sandwich was loaded with mozzarella , fresh tomatoes and basil leaves. The sandwich was served with house salad ( tasty corn salad made up of corn , diced cucumber , lemon , bell peppers and hint of lemon in it ) (4.5/5)
•
•
Overall , the places serves variety of dishes along with delicious icecreams. The staff is prompt. Food is hygienic . All they need to work is on their pizzas. A must must visit place amidst the hustling city !!

It's a bungalow turned cafe. The ambience is soothing, calm and pleasant. This place doesn't have a usual menu like all other cafes do, its unique and dishes served here give homely feels. This is surely a must visit place for diet conscious people and for the ones who love peaceful and lively ambience.

Super cute place, great for hangouts n delicious meals. Food tasted clean and perfectly balanced. Bonus points for so many of tea and smoothie options👍👍 They've got a pinteresty store as well. Check it out.

Nice place. Calm and peaceful. Food quality good. Staff is cooperative and friendly. Greenery inside and outside is delightful. Ambiance is soothing.

Been there for dinner often and I love the ambience and the food here. Their multigrain khichdi with hot gujju sweet kadhi is my favorite. Most of the dishes have quantity good enough for two people and hence it turns out to be a very good value for money place to go. They have some very good options for tea lovers too. A must visit place for those who love to spend time at a cozy cafe on weekends.

Cafe tilla, a cafe which is not so overhyped but when Me and my friends visited it we were surprised how come we are not aware about such a calm and lovely cafe , may be it’s the area but irrespective of that I insist that u must visit it once , it will give you Goa or Mumbai feels! A small lush green cafe with so much of greenary and plants in the cafe which makes the cafe looks wowww! A bungalow turned into cafe !If u are a foodie but u want homely taste with not much oil and spices but at the same time very tasty too then this is the place . their menu card is too cute and we loved it !we ordered nimbu pani which was sooo perfect and it would really help to reduce your thirst !being a chocolate fan we ordered chocolate shake which was again proper ,not so creamy and nothing extra but simple chocolate shake and u can taste so much of chocolate in each sip of it and we also ordered quesadillas to eat, again me and my friend felt that we are eating at home with not so oily and not so spicy taste but a perfect taste at the same time! They have a good & unique variety of dishes in the menu, what r you waiting for ? go and enjoy cafe tilla with loads of conversation, fun , food and music!
How I Met My Food
How can just simplicity change life !! This dessert just reinstated that ... as simple as a scoop of vanilla icecream, strawberry sauce and poached peach called “Peach Melba” @cafetilla was mind blowing !!!! It is just so comforting... absolutely loved this!!!

Mexican salad is served in a glass and we opted for small portion which justified the quantity served to us. Beans were cooked properly and there were lettuce, salsa sauce and cream cheese topped over it which nachos chips which were fresh and crispy.

Stir fried vegetables and rice was a wrong choice for us as we missed out on reading the ingredients as it had sesame seeds and peanut. Though there were really good amount of veggies but it was a wrong choice for us as we dont like both peanuts and sesame seeds. If you like nutty taste then this is a perfect dish for you.

Another we tried there were the savory crepes and oh my sweet Jesus ! Béchamel sauce, mushrooms and spinach is spot on a combination and the flavor was banggggg on!!

Chocolate biscuit cake ! A no baked-chocolate cake which actually was layers of Marie biscuits and chocolate, it was wonderful and nostalgic ! A delight to have for sure!!!

Follow us @howimetmyfoodd #snapchat #zomato #facebook #instagram

Perfect quaint Cafe.
White soothing interiors.
Good service.

The food is quite delectable and you'd love to visit the place again and again.
Went on a Sunday and by evening they lit candles on every table. Also, it was a fifa semi finals night so the tempo was great with live screening.

Thukpa - was smth I've been wanting to try and I tried it here. I would have loved for it to have some veggies instead of just carrots but the spice in the warm soup was just perfect.

The layered Mexican dip salad - its lettuce and beans salad topped with salsa, sour cream and Nacho chips.

For a meal, I ordered the stir fried veggies and rice. They're a variety of veggies stir fried in soy sauce and served with plain rice. I would have liked the rice to be either some flavoured rice but nonetheless, enjoyed the meal.

Small place but nice. Limited Menu but still good.
Tried Vitamin Bhel ND now it's one of my favorite healthy dish. Pizza was awesome. Pasta was bit sour but still was nice. Also tried Dahi Puri Nd was good similar to regular Chaat. Tried Mexican salad and was healthy eat. Chocolatecake was best till now.

I got to know about Cafe Tilla through Facebook group and read some good reviews about it, so had to visit it. I have visited this Cafe twice till date. On both the occasions my experiences were satisfactory. The interior is designed beautifully, they have paintings on both sides of the wall and have done the plantation in the outerside where seating is also available. The only problem here is that you won't find any proper parking space as it's on the main road.

Cafe Tilla doesn't have usual Cafe menu, they have included many interesting dishes of their own versions. During my two visits, I tried Mini Idlis, French Fries, Paneer Samosa, Watermelon Juice, Cold Coffee, some kind of coffee with Vanilla Ice Cream(it was under the Summer Special section, it was refreshing and quite unique in taste too).

Mini Idlis were seasoned with Curry Leaves, Mustard and other spices. If you visit this place, then this one is the must try.

French Fries were served with Dip and I guess it was mayo which was mixed with some other thing. Fries were cooked perfectly and wasn't oily, and Dip was complementing the Fries precisely.

Cold Coffee was good.

Watermelon Juice was fresh and if you like juice in its raw form, then you would like it.

Paneer Samosas resembles our Navtad Samosas, but had completely different fillings and taste. I found them a bit dry for my taste.

Coffee with Ice Cream was the show stealer for my friend and I.

The service was okay, don't have anything special to say.

💎💎💎💎

Ambience and the vibe that we get from this place is just wonderful. Menu here is bit out of the box but cost wise it's above average. Great variety of ice cream. Staff here is great. We had Mexican Salad which was topped with nachos and cream cheese. Lettuce in it was on the bitter side so on a scale of 5, it gets a 3. Other dishes we tried were Nutella waffle and Coffee flavoured ice cream. Both were bang on. The waffle was perfectly crunchy from out side and was so soft and smooth from inside and icing on the cake was the super chocolatey Nutella speard. Coffee ice cream had a great texture and the after taste was right on the money.

So overall a great place to hangout or go for a date😋.

Food: 4
Ambience: 5
Service: 4

Really lovely ambience and vibe. The salad was a bit dry but loved the salad in a glass concept. The cupcake was amazing, really new variety of mix flavours. A must visit for the ambiance and the desserts.

Peaceful.. that’s what you feel when you enter this place. It is a small cafe with a very homely vibe and lots of greenery all around. The bougainvillea at the entrance, the soft music, the candles and the books all make it a happy place for me.
The food is simple yet very different. We had the vitamin bhel, the happy cheese sandwich, pesto pasta and a pizza. The happy cheese sandwich is a must try.
There is small ice cream parlour too! Can anything be better??
Oh and the best part. You can spend hours there as they don’t force you to eat quickly and move out for waiting customers. So it’s a great place to chill and relax over a good cup of coffee and conversation!!

To the moon and back! That is how much I love this place. Be it the soups or the ice creams or the fresh juices , everything is spectacular! And do I even need to say anything bout the decor? Spot on! (In case you still wanted to hear) the food here is really great. Love the set dosa and crepes and the vitamin chaat is to die for. Lovely lovely place! Great work guys!

Every time I eat food, as I am chewing it, I need to use all my teeth. And once I gulp it, I can feel it going down my food pipe, into my stomach. But after that I barely can feel it anymore. I feel like I have lost touch with it. It makes me so sad! :(
Taslim Memon
The minute I entered the place, absolutely fell in love with the vibes it poured in. From the refreshing outdoor seating to cozy feels inside, its the best place to chill in solicitude with your loved ones, I must say.

The place is small and cute, plants and pots adding to the looks and also they have their amazing icecream shop beside the cafeteria.

Tried their ADRAK PUDINA CHAI (5/5), which might feel a little costly to you but it is worth every penny. So good and with the very perfect balance.

Then Tried METHI NA PUDLA (5/5), and trust me, they were the best I have ever had. From the decent taste to the texture and the chutney was the cherry on the top. The little achar kinda salad added to my joy.

Let me tell you, the sorbets are the best!

I would soon be back to the place to explore other delicacies and spend quality time as the last time I went, I was in a bit hurry and couldn't try much stuff.

Ambience - This place is a perfect blend of serenity, peace and refreshness. One would love to spend his quality time here without getting bored because this place acquires different aspects of beauty as the day turns from morning to afternoon, afternoon to evening, evening to night. One can spend a great time with his beloved or family feeling the freshness of the greenery and the aesthetics of the beautifully designed architecture. The whole place is very thoughtfully designed by its owner whom I came to know is a designer. While sitting outside, it gives a proper feel of one enjoying the luxury of a plush resort while being in the city itself.
Service of the Staff- The staff is very polite and hospitable and eager to help you with the description of the menu and in making the choice of the dish.
Menu- Although not much fulfilling options are available to stuff one's stomach properly but the menu is mainly designed to provide some light stuff while you take a sip of your beverage and carry out the conversation. The available options are a bit on the expensive side too.

Conclusion: All in all, its a nice place to sit, relax, chat and enjoy the time while carrying out a quality conversation with your fellow or have your own sweet time of thoughtfulness.

After five days of relentless efforts to find a good cafe in Ahmedabad, I came to tilla. Was delighted to find a few books at the cafe, sat with one and ordered. The latte was much better that what you would find elsewhere in the area. The snacks were yum and healthy. The dessert was perhaps the star here. Spent more than an hour here, finally I couldn’t resist and ordered another latte to savour until I find the next great cafe around.
Jatin Desai
A lovely cafe! Though small but well planned with pleasant outside sitting. Recommend Sattu paratha which is served with homemade delicious pickle & curd. Stir fried veg. with plain rice was bit innovative having exotic vegetables in a peanut based curry. Cold coffee was nice. They have nice Ice cream shop but got disappointed because some tempting varieties were not available.

A much ballyhooed place, which when visited disappoints majorly.
My friends and I had heard so much about it and we were so let down by the place.
The ambience is hardly appealing.
We tried Mushroom Cheese Tartines, Paneer Samosa, Pasta in Mix Sauce
along with a few can-never-go-wrong dishes like French Fries and Grilled Cheese sandwich and to my surprise, even the latter dishes were disappointing, to say the least about the other dishes.
In all, a not so good experience.
Sunny Chui Fernandes
Good ambience with nice continental food. I dont recommend risking to try indian food here. There are still space for improvement regarding staff service. I recommended a friend to this place becos of the good ambience and food and ends out they screwed up my friend's day by giving pathetic tasteless food and puting the bill on the table just like that before the food replacement even arrive.

I really needed some alone time. Decided to give this place a go. I had heard a lot about their ice cream shop. So I tried out the Vanilla charcoal ice cream 🍃 and Gingerina- Ginger ice cream on a bed of gingerbread crumbs, choco chips and litchis !! Both were really amazing.
Priyanka
An overhyped place , to be recommended just for its ambience and dessert.
None of the food I had was even average. Dishes tasted strange (overly authentic, may be). Even pizza was horrible.
Fresh pressed juice - APPLE, CELERY AND CINNAMON 2/5 Price: 180/-
PIZZA - 2/5
STIR FRIED VEGETABLES AMD RICE- 2/5 Price: 220/-
The only thing which was averagely good was it’s DAHI SANDWICH. Price: 130/- (Though I won’t suggest to waste money over it) .

Cafe Tilla,

a small beautiful place near NID, I have been here almost 7-8 times and everytime the experience is different.

let me tell you, they serve one of the best hot chocolate in the city, their waffle has best chocolate sauce, very soothing and not sweet at all, if they are crispier it would be great.

I was little disappointed in their pizza and pasta, they were complete disaster! but for the ambiance i can give this place 5/5 and ice creams! they have really nice flavours and fresh ice cream, not like hubber and holly, which is just over rated.

After a very long time a fine cafe in this end of the city. This is a cosy place for a perfect dinner date along with dim lighting and candle lit tables with delicious food being served to you!

When two tablespoons visited Cafe Tilla:
Anj: KUSH! SAVE ME! This scorching heat of summers is ruining my Ahmedabad trip. 😫
Kush: I can't change the weather but I can surely treat you with ice cream. let's go to Cafe Tilla in Paldi.
Anj: Decorated with green plants all around makes the ambiance fresh and colorful.
Kush: Finally my search ends here Anj, I can finally eat Ginger ice cream, of which you have been singing songs!
Anj: And it tastes perfect with an equal blend of ginger and sugar makes my heart say- eat more ice cream!
Kush: Not to forget music here is cherry on the top. I am adding this place to my "must visit" places of Ahmedabad.
Two Tablespoons say: Ambiance: 4/5, Service: 4/5, Food: 4/5

TBH this is one of the best place to hangout with your loved one's in entire Paldi now !!

Right from the entrance this place gives such an amazing aura of being at your own home !!💕

They have arranged few chairs with table right in the entrance for waiting/ seating out in open !

I've like fallen in love with this place since I have visited here.

The most biggest factor that attracts me towards this place is it's calm and cozy ambience, despite of the fact that it's very close to roadway !!

Must visit Cafe!! Undeniably visiting back soon.

Thanks for having me Cafe Tilla ✌️

Such a lovely place for a beautifully cooked meal. The menu itself is really well varied and the food is made so skill fully. The cafe itself is really adorable. Very nicely done interiors. The produce is fresh and done justice to. Really nice place to sit a work too. They also have an ice-cream parlour.

Loved the vibe. Do try the Peach Melba if craving for something sweet. Coffee and other small bite options are also interesting. Little gem in middle of Paldi

It’s a really cute and small cafe. Ambiance is very amiable. Food is also delicious. Quantity is enough as well. Service is not so quick but it’s manageable. It’s a perfect place for a date!

Place is located at Paladi, near NID, somewhere in residential area. Google map would help you to find it. Parking is an issue but one can easily park on road side.
As soon as you entered in cafe, you can see green plants around outside seating area. Inside seating is also available. Tables are small but convenient. In inside area there are also small plants decked on the wall which looks elegant.

Menu wasn’t usual cafe kinda menu as items from different cuisines collected which makes no sense. We tried to ordered their best items.

A pleasant place to be in & just get lost in their beautiful plantation decor. Quite an adorable place in terms of ambience. Food was good. It’s a place to chill & refresh yourself while enjoying the little flower pots surround you.

The ambience of this cafe is very peaceful since it is located in a residential area. It being divided into two levels is an interesting play of space. Phudina adrak chai and cafe latte were the part of my order in my visit. The visit to this cafe was worth an experience.
But First, Coffee
4.5/5
Great ambience, service and, an intriguing menu. Delicious salads and desserts! I would definitely be back at this cute lil spot to try more of their delicious food.

This beautiful coral red colour in the soup comes from beetroot and coconut milk was a cream based soup 🥥
•
The second one is an onion and mushroom soup perfectly blended with one another (must try ) 💕
•
Ratings:- 5/5 ♥️
•
•
Place :- @cafetilla •
•
This newbie in town is a splendid place to hang out and have some amazing food.
The place and interiors are really cute and you'd get a cozy feeling here. They have an ice cream shop too !
So I have been here twice in a week and tried the following:
Strawberry and Nutella Waffles with Whipped cream: There are a very selected places where I love having waffles and this one is now one of them.
Gingerina: this small bowl of delectable goodness is a must have at Tilla. Ginger Ice cream served with ginger crumble, lychee, and tiny bits of chocolate is sheer heaven. Highly recommended!
Cold Coffee: the quantity is so much! Probably, a sandwich and this nice dark drink and you'll be done ! I really really liked it.
I tried their ice creams too. The rose almond is one you should try. The pineapple and chocolate were good too.
Now I cannot wait to get back to this place and dig in more in their menu.

such a small cafe located in paldi is a definitely must visit place for the residents near paldi. It has indoor as well as outdoor sitting arrangement.
This place gives positive and peaceful vibes with it’s amazing white interior and full of small live plants inside and outside both.

we tried here,
Paneer samosa - they served 5 small samosas which were amazing in taste.

Mini idlis - a big bowl of small and soft idlis seasoned with curry leaves, mustard and other spices. It was really good.

korma with set dosa - if someone likes to have thick and fluffy dosa then it’s a must try dish.Along with that they served mashroom and bell papers in a creamy sauce.
it’s a nice place to have some light snacks.

A small and beautiful place located in Paldi. The cafe is very peaceful, and one can sit for hours just taking! The staff is very generous, and the food is great! We tried tried coffee and paneer samosa. Coffee was a must try. Many more visits to this place for sure!!

Cafe Tilla - A decent green place with white decor and good fresh food nothing extraordinary tho but you can call it a beautiful/serene place for sure.
Ps: parking is a big issue specially for cars as the cafe is located midst the residential area.@

This cafe has opened up in a locality where there are very few good options to eat at. Pretty and pleasant, this place gives a good vibe. The menu has healthy eating options and everything served is fresh and tasty.
Food and service -5/5
Ambience- 5/5
Price - 4.5/5

Cafe Tilla in Paldi is the most Beautiful Cafe in the City. My Rating completely goes with the Decor which is too classy and eye soothing. Tried few Icecreams here. Must go for Rose Coconut and Vanila Charcoal. Decor ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The place was well done with good embiance. The food was mediocre at best. I ordered a multigrain khichdi and my wife a stir fried veg. with rice. Her stir fried veg was a peanut flavoured gravy and my khichdi was absolutely sour. I had sent the khichdi back and they requested if they could make anything else for me.

Another grave offence was suddenly without any intimation they gave us the bill at around 11pm. I mean they can decide to shut whenever, but straight away giving the bill was an unpleasant surprise and disrespecting, especially when the food was not even served.

I had specially travelled from Bopal after a friend's recommendation, but would surely never visit again.

It's all good ABT place, food is also nice
But it's more on ambiance they have focused on and it's like chilled out place very few cafe in Ahmedabad like that.
It's one of them
Should visit.

Really cute place to enjoy these winter evening sitting out in open with delicious food. Lilliputian place with limited menu seeing which u feel like ordering it all. For people who love Mushroom, their Mushroom tarts are something u can binge on. We ordered mini idlis which tasted like dhokla but not bad. Paneer samosa was good. Chocolate biscuit cake was Parle G biscuits in frozen chocolate which tasted just fine.

An elegant place with white decor and a lot of greenery, which gives the feeling of serenity. It is a small place with a table for outdoor seating as well. The ice cream corner is kept separate from the cafe.

I can’t describe in words but this cafe gives a different kind of feeling as if you aren’t in Ahmedabad at all. The menu is full of traditional as well as global cuisine dishes

I tried the lemon cake and gingerina (simply because i wanted to have ginger ice cream). The dishes in the menu are different from what you will find at other cafes and hence Cafe Tilla stands out in my list. It is still an unexplored place and hence it is a relatively peaceful place when compared to other bustling cafes. Just grab a book, order a turmeric latte this winter and read in the lap of nature. That is the kind of vibe you get when you visit this cafe
Parth Rathod
The ambience of the cafe is very nice. Simple, but worth to visit more than once. I tried two desserts, banana walnut muffin and Gingeria. I personally liked Gingeria which is combination of taste of ice-cream and ginger, which adds little spicy flavour to the dessert. Would definitely visit the place soon :)

In the hustle bustle of Paldi,
I could never imagine a cafe with good interior & good food together 🙈
It was my christmas date ( lets keep it two girls gossip meet )
They have indoor & outdoor seating arrangement, both spacious for small group.
So we had ordered ~ Chamomile infused herbal tea 😍 just how i like with no added sugar.
Small portion of Mexican salad, tastes really nice.
And Multigrain khichdi to fill our stomach really tight 😋
They took our feedbacks & the staff was really good.
Sumaiya Sareshwala
The interior of this cafe is very nice and the portion size is also fine we had ordered savoury crepe which had spinach and mushrooms stuffing in it which in taste were very delicious and the crepe was also very soft. The other thing which we had ordered was stir fried vegetables in that the gravy was a little blend in taste and it did not look very appetising also and last in desert we had peach malaba because was good in taste. Overall the experience was very good.

Well lets start with the ambience, the restaurant is claustrophobic, and there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke on entering, which we later realized was maybe just a really bad incense stick.
The menu, was a small booklet that looked like it was printed and copied at a local Xerox store.

The food, we ordered the beetroot coconut soup, which had these two exact ingredients, no seasoning. The vegetable thukpa soup was ‘thukne layak’, no amount of seasoning could fix it. The bell pepper pasta, which was the Christmas special, was undercooked, insipid and had no trace of bell pepper, maybe the sauce was made of it, but that did not taste right. The paneer samosa was the only thing eatable from what we had ordered, but the kernel corn offered with it was fermented.

The service was acceptable.

We tried out

Sautted Baby potato's -A perfect blend of spices and baby potatoes.

On my plate

Paneer samosa - these seemed a bit overpriced to me, but they tasted good enough, so, no complaints here.

Its a small cafe which could be difficult to locate. The parking is a bit of an issue because it is a residential area. The interior is beautiful and pleasing. They have a limited outdoor seating available as well. We preferred to sit in the indoors. The menu offers some random dishes but most of them are traditional ones. We tried

Sautéed baby potatoes - Doesn’t look so pretty but the taste outperformed the looks
Paneer samosa - 5 small pieces of paneer samosas are definitely worth trying
Sattu paratha - The dip saved the day as the paratha was bland
Korma with set dosa - I would definitely recommend this one
Stir fried vegetables with rice - Avoidable

The pricing is decent and the service is good enough. I wish they add some more options in the menu so that one can visit again.

This place is worth a visit, apart from its fantastic ambience, it has also quite different menu compared to other cafes in town. A good quality time can be spend by reading the collection of books they have got and ice-cream shop also cateres wide range of new flavours.

Generous owners and humble staff is from where I'll start this review. This is one of the few places from where you just don't want to get out once you are inside. Small and cozy the place has all the aesthetics that pleases the eye. Minimal, simple interiors with glass pots showering out the beautiful greens up till the ceiling. Tilla Cafe is nearby NID and is run by alumni of the same college, so you see from where all that is coming from. Food is exceptional and exceptionally amazing. Dahi sandwich should've been named Sahi sandwich for all the obvious reasons. Chocolate shake would shake you up to focus that you never had such a beautiful shake ever before. Sattu paratha is fulfilling and so does their Dosa. The quantity of food is good for a person. As it is at the stretch of my hand I would keep my hands open until I am bored of this place (fingers crossed)

So I'm driving down with a friend one evening and happen across this place and I'm like let's try it out......and boy was I in for a treat ......... !!!!

They have this creamery where they serve their own ice cream on the ground floor and a stairway on the right leads you up to the main café area ...... !!!

First up, how cute is this place, I mean the basic and functional décor, the awesome music they play in the background, and the absolutely cute menu book they give you, it all adds up to a very laid back and chill ambience ..... !!! Also the staff ( read a bunch of friends who've started this and are running it ) are super accepting and very friendly.

The menu is limited, all veg and will appeal to anyone and everyone !!!! First day there I ordered a Cold Coffee and a Lemon Lemon Cake .... ! The Coffee, done beautifully, just the right amount of sweetness that I like, well that Lemon Cake though, you could write an essay about that, it's that good. Deceptively simple on the face of it, beautiful Vanilla Sponge, not too dense with a very good crumb, and this is where it gets interesting, they drizzle over some Lemon Syrup, what this gives you is a Pow in your face Lemon flavour with a hint of sweetness, that doesn't in anyway overshadow the lovely Cake, it infact lifts the humble Vanilla Sponge to something better, simple yet, genius.

On my second visit there, same Coffee and a Rainbow Salad. The Rainbow Salad, vibrant and colourful, with the Purple & White Cabbage and the trio of Bell Peppers and the Sesame Seeds. Flavour wise, you get this umami goodness from the Soy, balanced out with the slight sweetness of the Peanut Butter, that also plays against the pleasant bitterness from the Purple Cabbage, and then this nuttiness from the Sesame Seeds leaves you with a really good after taste in your mouth.

This place is beautiful, located in a very quite part of town, go with your friends or family, or take someone along for a coffee date, it's the perfect place.

And I'll be coming there soon, coz yea I've seen their Tomato, Basil & Mozzarella sandwich and it looks sooooooo gooooddd 😍😍 These guys keep sending food like that out, they're gonna be here for a long time 😁 For once I don't miss the Non Veg 😁

5.0 outta 5.0 absolutely.....!!!

Okay Bye.....!!!!

Absolutely love the vibe of the place. Haven’t had anything here except the saunf sharbat.
The ambience is great and so is the service. Plus they let me come in with my dog! (In the outdoor area) and I’m extremely happy about vegan options on the menu! All the items marked V are vegan. Yay for that! Can’t wait to come back.

Ambience:3.75/5
Food:4/5
Service:3.5/5
VFM: 4/5

Ambience:
Setup in a bungalow, operated by three Talented NID alumni, this cafe has its own charm, surrounded by tiny plants. If you are looking for a peaceful place to hangout along with great food and Icecream this is the right stop!!! They have a separate icecream shop within the bungalow. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating with some pretty amazing music.

Food: We had Happy Cheese Sandwich, Mini Idlis, Orange Cinnamon Iced Tea, Chocolate Biscuit Cake.

Happy Cheese Sandwich: 4/5
I didn’t want to experiment with the Dahi Sandwich so i went with this option and I’m glad I chose this. As the name suggests the cheese actually makes you happy. Stuffed with tomato, basil and right amount mozzarella cheese, this sandwich is definitely worth a try. Grilled to perfection and well seasoned with spices this sandwich was amazing.

Mini Idlis: 4/5
These mini idlis seasoned with grated coconut, mustard and curry leaves were just perfect and the chutney served along was bang on!!! The idlis were cooked perfectly fluffy soft and seasoned well.

Orange Cinnamon Iced Tea: 3/5
I really didn’t enjoy the Orange Cinnamon Iced Tea much, as the flavour of Cinnamon overpowered the taste of orange which I personally don’t prefer. This can be given a miss!!!

Chocolate Biscuit Cake: 4.25/5
This was my personal favourite. The cake was baked to perfection. It was served with vanilla Icecream scoop, which was like cherry on the cake, it went along perfectly. The biscuit cake was loaded with roasted cashews and every bite had the cashews in it which was the most amazing part about this cake.

Service: 3.5/5
Management was friendly and welcoming. They really need staff to manage, because most of the time no one was available at the counter.

Value for money: 4/5
Price charged for the portion size served was perfect. However not too filling though.

Overall it was a wonderful experience!!! And a cafe worth visiting and not to be missed!! Also totally crushing over the cute little girl Kimaaya who was assisting her parents in the cafe!!

Okay, tbh, this cafe can woo you only with its pretty-dainty interiors and the amazing playlist they have. The food comes much later.
A very refreshing change from the pizzas and pastas menu accompanied with the cutesy chairs and windows, makes it a perfect place for brunch.
The staff is super polite and friendly, extra points for that.
Would’ve preferred some more options on the menu, and some of the dishes were very bland for my taste.

But a must try cafe, if you’re looking for some change.

Iam totally in awe of this place. The food, ambience and the vibes are just great.

Food : The menu is an interesting assortment of cuisines - a mix of experimental drinks and dishes.
Ambience : it's a very warm and clean setup. I love the greenery. You can have a relaxed conversation or read a book.
Service : the hosts are very warm and welcoming.

It is a fantastic place. The ambience is ultimate ! Loved the range of food available here. The place is a bit costly however the food counter balances it. I think this can be listed as one of the best cafe near the riverfront (paldi).
