After a long time had pure Mumbai style bhaji paav. Nice place to visit with reasonable prices. Staff behavior is too good. Only little bit disappointed in Tava Pulao because of rice quality and spices what they use its very mild. Over all of u really want to eat bhaji paav definitely go there.

The place is not something high quality restaurant but their service is very quick. I love Bombay pavbhaji and veg pulav here. The quality and quality are perfect. Value for money too.

This is my go to place when I wish to eat pav bhaji or pulav. They do offer many other things in menu but pav-bhaji and pulav are their speciality. The rates are very reasonable. It's one of the best taste available in gurkul and drive in area.

As a hard core pav bhaji lover I always try to find new restaurant which serves Good pav bhaji.A quick search on Zomato and I found this joint near our place. After going through the so many positive reviews we decided to go to this place for our dinner.<br/><br/>Ambience- Good and simple ambience with a huge seating area with AC. After a wait for 15 mins we got our order and my goodness I was just looking at the plate for few mins.. The quantity was huge. I'd say "old is gold" ! This place never lost it's charm or taste. The spicy tangy bhaji is better than a lot of places around in Ahmedabad.<br/><br/>I always go for the butter version and double spicy. 😍

Very overprice, pavbhaji. Time by time they increase price. Like 80,90, 100,110. But no change in quality. Quality is good. I am following from my childhood. Owner Compare price with honest but not quality

It's a decent place with okayish ambience and sitting arrangements. It's famous for bhaji pav and pulav. We ordered the same and it was up to the mark. The service was quick. They need to improve a bit on cleanliness aspects, but keeping the taste factor in mind, it is certainly worth visiting.

Name is bombay bhaji pav but it is actually very bad bhaji in taste. You can try here chinese. Pav bhaji is hopeless. Dont try ever. Waste of money.

Since love for Pav bhaji is from childhood and always in search of Desi style Tawa pavbhaji always. This place is favourites since it's open. Reviewing too late but The food is still same and service is also quick. <br/><br/>Only problem is staff. Superrr pav bhajii!! Best of which i had in abad. I took a pick up so not much idea about the service and all but the food was too good. The pav bhaji tastes veryy awesomee and pulav is also greatt..a must try if you are near this area. I called up a few minutes ago to keep the order ready and it was perfectly on time n hot plus i added 1 more pav bhaji on the spot n the gave it right away, it actually is fast. They says they give home delivery service and when I called them for ordering the same around 1.30 pm which is as per the restaurant time its open, they say nobody can come to deliver as everybody in the staff is sleeping. And my house is 300 mtrs from the restaurant. It shows how thee service is pathetic and how the staff doesn't care for the business. This isn't only for home delivery orders but even when you visit them it the way the staff treats the customer and shows the attitude its highly disappointing.

Food was okay kind of type. Not that much hygienic place though, but still tasty.<br/>Bhaji pav is not that good, but should try masala pav for sure.

As this place is famous for their bhaji pav and pulav since last more than 30 years, I used to eat pav bhaji from this outlet as they have very unique bambaiyaa bhaji taste, ingredients are spicy and has maharashtrian flavour and spicyness , we took parcel for butter pav bhaji and pulav, both taste was awesome and rates and quantity are also pocket friendly, highly recommended to bhaji pav lovers.

Late post.. One of the oldest restaurant for having pav bhaji and pulav nearby to gurukul area.. They are serving since long and expanded their restaurant too from initial one.. Initially their was just small place and now it is big one.. Seating arrangement is also available now so one can enjoy food with family here.. One of the pocket friendly place located at gurukul..<br/><br/>Talking about taste of food.. Pav bhaji and pulav is good in taste.. Quantity is also good as compare to rate they charge per plate.. Now a days apart from pav bhaji and pulav other dishes are also available at this place like pizza, sandwiches, chinese, etc but will not suggest to try it as their mastery is in pav bhaji and pulav..

Interiors apart the place serves good pav bhaji. The pulao is ok. But pav bhaji tastes good and totally worth the money. Economic place to fill your tummy. They do have a bit of spice in the bhaji but you can request for medium spicy. Those who love spicy bhaji they will surely enjoy the taste here.

The 3.5 is purely for the food. There is nothing like ambience in this restaurant. The staff is O.K and is always in a rush. " New Bombay Bhaji Pav " - It was 10:45 pm<br/>On sunday & very few restaurants were open or were taking last order at this hour of time. This place was in my wish list & fortunately a friend suggested to try this out.<br/><br/>Went there and i must say this place is not for the people opting for good ambience.<br/><br/>?? Location - It is located just opposite to himalaya mall a bit on cross side of it. <br/><br/>?? Ambience -<br/>I dont know why but more over the place resembles me of a cave type thing & it feels like closed from 3 sides. Hopefully a friend of mine saw that they also have a/c sitting we ran towards that room & thank god there a/c were all working in good condition despite it was window a/c. In that room the max capacity might be 20-25 pax. <br/><br/>?? Order Placed - <br/>Bhaji Pav ( since the place is know for that thing ) , Pulav , Pepsi since they dint had Thums Up :( <br/><br/>They dint gave us neither menu nor water. We had to ask them for menu henceforth later we placed the order. <br/><br/>Bhaji Pav - It was looking good and also had good amount of butter. The bhaji tasted delicious and the appreciation in the reviews are totally acceptable. It is worth a try dont know what makes it good might be coriander added in it or something else. But the pav on other side were not cooked properly. I guess they kept on tava for 5-10 sec and given to us. <br/><br/>Pulav - It was a total disappointment for which the reviews loses 0.5 or 1 rating. The pulav from its look dint impressed and later i had my first bite. It was too much oily which had kaju , grapes , tomato , coriaand stuff like that so better be precise of telling before placing an order. As you can see in the picture the shining of rice which clearly shows the reality of being oily.<br/><br/>Overall i conclude that the place has simple ambience. Stewards are good but dont have common sense of what to bring at what time like water and stuff apart from that go for bhaji pav :) . My favorite bhaji pav restaurant in ahmedabad. Its pocket friendly and its very near to my home. Best butter bhaji pav I ever had in ahmedabad. But service and place is very average. they should make that place better and more comfortable.

Food cravings manage to take over all other needs and priorities each time they strike!<br/>One such craving had me wildly forging for a plate of spicy and smoking hot pav bhaji (The full on street style and yet amazingly tasty like the ones you get at Manek Chowk) and thats when we spotted New Bombay Bhaji Pav. Being the zoman that I am, first thing I do is go through the reviews here and then its decided!<br/>We quickly settled in their in-door seating option and saw the menu. Apart from pav bhaji (I wonder why in all gujju cities they call it the other way around, sounds weird:p ) their menu also had some.sandwiches and pizza and another leaf had some chinese too.<br/>But my mind was set on their well reputed pav bhaji.<br/>The ambience is simple and modest. The fans were so low I was scared my partner my might end up bumping his head into one of them!<br/>The service was really quick! We asked them how long would it take right in the beginning and the polite uncle said as long as it you to order! And he was right! Within 5 minutes we were served with a plate of pipping hot pav bhaji!<br/>Theirs is definitely better than most in the area. The bhaji was thick and spiced well and was served with the standard slab of butter on top, some chopped onions and a slice of lemon on the side. I've had bhajis no better than tomato puree with near raw vegetables and after those, this one was like a sigh of relief! Soft pav and delicious bhaji, cooked to tasteful perfection! Just in time of our last morsels of pav, came the pulav! Their timing is good. Again the slab of butter but this time so much of colour on a plate and not the artificial one! Veggies, spices and dry fuits, this one was a winner straighaway!!<br/>At such low prices, Rs.70 for the pav bhaji and Rs.90 for the pulav, its a treat!<br/>I'd really recommend this place to all the foodies who like pav bhaji!<br/>For the ones who're bored of the college canteen or hostel mess, places such as these are very convenient and light on your wallet. Even for the ones who cant go till manek chowk for pav bhaji(like us) New Bombay Pav Bhaji is a safe bet!

But well nonethe less.. it tastes good.  And yes its PAV BHAJI not Bhaji Pav! especially if its from Bombay.<br/>I've spent many many years in Mumbai.. and Pav Bhaji has been one of my favourites ever!!!<br/><br/>EAT: Food - I dont call it Bombay Pav Bhaji until its nice and dark coloured in a quarter plate and less thick consistency.. its just what makes it bombay pavbhaji for me.. But this tasted good too.. and the veg pulao was awesome.. Living in the same area i dont know how in the earth did i missed eating in this restaurant. I had heard a lot about how delicious there bhaji pav is but never got a chance to taste. Once in a while it happened that mom wanted to try a new place for bhaji pav so finally we decided to go to this place called new bombay bhaji pav. The ambiance is not very impressive, its quite normal. It has a dining in Ac and one in non Ac. The even had a few tables in the outdoors so i knew this place must be quite crowded on weekends. We had ordered an bhaji pav in oil and one in butter. The staff is also quite normal, not very friendly neither too rude. After around 10-15 minutes arrived our bhaji pav. I took my first bite and OMG guess what Ahmedabad finally has a place which servers spicy food without asking them to make it spicy. Me being a spice lover was quite extremely satisfied by taste. The quantity of bhaji was quite much and you always need to order extra pav. Talking about the pav the were quite fresh and crispy. The butter or oil used was just in the correct quantity. It was quite light on stomach as well as ur pocket. It costed us around 200 bucks which is quite less than any other bhaji pav restaurant. As bhaji pav is a street food i would suggest to sit in outdoors amidst all the sounds of the main road inspite of sitting inside in the AC for the actual fun.

Truly a street style food factory, with a very basic seating arrangements, producing excellent Bhaji Pav for your taste buds. My friend is a big time fan of this place and he has spent his entire childhood eating thwir bhaji paav and pulao. An interesting story is,he got 10rs everyday for eating at the school canteen, but he wld save tht and rush here post school and relish tbeir bhaji paav. There is nothing in the name of ambiance, some chairs and tables. <br/>He called for bhaji paav the paav a little exyra kadak. And then came butter laden bhaji with a lot of onions cut delicately on good lucking bhaaji. <br/>The bhaaji was extraordinary, I guess the best one on this side of the town. Spicy and brilliant. We loved that simple snack. the server repeatedly asked to serve the pulao but we didnt want it to kill the taste of the bhaaji pav, hence skipped it. <br/>Do try it, if u are looking at some tasty food. Snacks or main meal, this is the place to be.

The place is not the one where you expect a gud ambience or a courteous staff. But for bhaji pav lovers its a treat as they serve tasty bhaji pav at a gud price. Good value for money. Its generally crowded. It has an a/c as well as a non a/c seating. If one doesnt want to have bhaji pav then this place is not recommended as varieties are limited. It is desi but with a tasty touch.
