Review H.l. Vadapav - Ahmedabad

SunShower
Best vadapav I’ve ever had. Tad bit pricey, but totally worth it 😍 If I had one suggestion, I would say a little less butter would’ve made it even better 😋
Dr. Dhaval Shah
Very delicious and best test of town. Using original Amul butter. So if u quality n test conscious and not for money then go for it. Its worth to spend around 110 for butter one.
Vinil Shah
Eaten the world's best Vada pav ever. The amount of butter kept while making it is absolutely flavouring the Vada pav and you always wish to have one more. Small place but big impact. The place is absolutely amazing. It's a little expensive but truly worth it.
Chitrang Shah
HL Vadapav is the most famous vadapav shop in navrangpura area and in all over Ahmedabad. They were selling only vadapav since 20 years. We tried there most costly vadapav cheese delux vadapav worth rs 150. The vadapav is too delicious and the butter they use in it is unbelievable.

CHEESE VADAPAV { Most delicious and mouthwatering vadapav i've ever had with soft and spicy vada inside with loaded cheese. Damn ! Just look at that stuffed cheese 🤤It is a must try for the people who haven't tried this yet ! } . . 💸: 120/- { Monghu che pan VASOOL che } 😋 .

120₹ for 1 butter vadaa paav. But worth it once in a while.
Hitesh Pandya
The best Butter VadaPav ever you can have in Ahmedabad, I never miss this when ever I visit Ahmedabad. I am eating this from last 15 years, their quality and taste are still the same. Love it.
Karan Parmar
It was very amazing and tasty vadaapav!! i never ate vadaapav like this! this was big and overfully loaded butter!! You can see how much quantity of Butter used in this vadaapaav!! They used half of piece of one packet of butter!! .I heard many times about this but never tried! yesterday my friends were planning to go there and have vadaapav!! There vadaapav was really amazing as well as their services!!Butter vadaapav was little high price! 90 rs of Butter vadaapav!! There red sauce and green chutney was really superb!!and funny moment that i kept one packet of green chutney to take for mom!.I highly recommended you!! please try this and enjoy a real taste

One of the iconic places for vada pau in the bustling university area. Most in demand are butter n cheese vada pau. Jain options are also available. A bit expensive but those who are their fan will vouch for their taste n uniqueness since last 25 years. Awesome green chutney which u will never get anywhere else
Jashbhai Patel
Very good to find place. It's like eyes of blind person. Too much helpful to all.
Chirag Soni
No Words to Describe. I have been eating the vadapav here since more than 20 years and still can’t get over it. Everytime i have it here, can’t have enough. Always yumm taste. Best quality and best taste you will ever have here. If u r vadapav lover, no other place can beat this one, can guarantee you.

HL vadapav is very famous street food. It's best for vadapav lovers. taste of vadapav is awesome.very Hygienic stall. They gave fudina green chutney and tomato catch up. They add jeera in vadapav for add unique taste. Bad thing is that price is very high for oil vadapav it's rs 50. But there regular customers comes everyday to eat vadapav.
Sukhpreet Kaur
One of the best place for vadapav lovers😍 i love butter regular vadapav its perfectly buttery in taste with fresh aloo vada inside ❤️ no doubt its rates are little higher than others but its worth!
Rating:-
Butter regular vadapav-5/5
Karan Shah
Worth a try! It seems a little expensive for a vadapav but they assure you the quality and hygiene too. The vadapav literally melts in your mouth 😋
Rahul Desai
Very expensive and definitely not worth trying. Also not accepting payment thru UPI or paytm.
Sahil Shah
120 for a vadapav seems pretty expensive but it’s worth to give this vadapav a try. Their vada is quite different from the rest vadapav makers here. And they assure you quality as they use amul products only!
Nihar Patel
Price is the matter for any Gujarati...seriously they have been looted since many years and there is no extra ordinary taste in this vadapav...my friend house is exactly opposite to their shop...and we know that how they make the vadapav...all of you pls visit at the early morning 6am and then you know how they make the vada n chutney...too horrible...
Mr. Bhukhhad
test of vadapav is too good and its main Usp is their Chuttny , very testy, but the price is too much the butter vadapav rate is 90 rs. really the price is too much not even many good resturant have that kind of rate, also the place is very conjusted some time many problem for parking .
Devang Jagad
90₹ for butter vadapav. Imao.. Only fools will go for this.
That's just a vadapav!! Damn it. Are they putting gold inside? Road ki rekdi kaa bhaav ye 5 star hotel vala?? Whatttt???
Mudit Baranwal
Pls lower your prices. 90 ruppees is too much. Last I came, it was a shocker for me to see a jump of rupees 90 from 70, 70 also being an unrealistic price.
I am sure u must have started losing buisness, so rectify your prices, I like your Vada pav but not having it at 90 bucks.
It's not that I can't afford, but every thing has some realistic value to it. A 5 star restaurant can sell a Vada pav for 100, because of the cost in running the establishment,
a road side Lari can not charge this for any reason, even if it is the best.
Pranjali Bhatt
They serve the best vadapav in town. Undoubtedly, by far, the best I ever had. It gives altogether a different taste. Loved it. And go early to grab
Arch Patel
This is must visit place in Ahmedabad if you are foodie and want to taste vadapau loaded with butter (actual amul butter)... The green chunety is so tasty that you actually feel like eating it more and more... it's like cheery on top of the cake...

I have been visiting this vadapau place since my school times... at that time my mother use to take me when i wanted to eat, as it was on the way from my school to home...

Since that time till now the taste is still the same unique, maintained the quality and if u go there u will see that they will ask you to park your vehicles properly if not parked properly as it is surrounded by residential area which is really appreciative...

Place is pretty quite, shop is considerably small but once you have the bite of vadapau u will feel as if u are on cloud 9... yummmmmmmmsssss....
Ankil Shah
Worst place ever I seen for a Vada pav. There is no such unique taste in Vada that we can give such a huge price in stead of I prefer shreeji Krupa Vada pav Vijay cross road a better place with reasonable price and taste. Also owner nature is too roude with customers even parking is a big issue.
Ghatana||@spice_n_sneakers
Over hyped place.. plus the menu displayed here on zomato is the old one.. Now they've increased thier price..(50 rs for oil vadapav and 90 rs for butter vadapav ) .. There's no unique factor in thier vadapav as for which they charge for !!
Vishwa Pandya
Good vadapav but too costly even stall is not open on Sunday and closes around 7.30 in evening. But butter deluxe vadapav is too good overall good
Krisha Shah
HL vadapav is one of the oldest and well known place for Vadapav in Ahmedabad. The vadapav’s are very delicious. People might feel that the rates are bit high then the rest of Vadapav places in Ahmedabad but it is so worth it. Good quality food should be a priority. I recommend it to all.
Devang Shah
Staff and owner are full of attitude... They wont serve you unless you park your car or scooter as per their instruction only. Even my small request of getting the pav heated on tava was declined
( I prefer without oil & butter). Was told khana hai to khao...
Vishv Patel
I don't know why people gave this place so much popularity!!
taste was good but it cost 90 rs for a single butter vadapav, this is too much!!👎
and for butter they are using,i found the same quantity of butter used in shriji vadpav,
no sitting arrangements, you have to wait atlst 15 minutes for your order
nothing special still they are incrising the price on regular intervals 😑
Riddhi Patel
A very weird place i see!!
They stand with a small stall in the crowdy valley.
& even there is no place for parking for the cars also.

& they charged 70rs for butter vadapav?
Haha guys!! Yes you read it right!! They charged too much for a nominal vadapav.
& the taste is not so much good.

& yes main thing is their staff is very rude.
Even they don’t have a sense to talk.
They came from some down market area. & they serves vadapavs to us. We even never talk with these type of people.

I asked him for the one more masala pav. He said “we have lots of orders we have 70 vadapavs in order so we can not fulfill your order.”
Is this make a any sense?
I seriously hate the place

& guys there is nothing special there. So Don’t waste your money time & impression & don’t insult your self to go there.

Taste-1/5
Value for money-0/5
Quality-0/5
Ambience-0/5
Dev
as a being their customer from last 3-4 years i am completely satisfied with their taste & service

though aam visiting this place from since long but their taste of vadapav is still same
aam in live with their vadapav & specially with their green chutney & ketchup

taste:-5/5
service:4/5
value for money:4.5/5

thank you
Nothing extra ordinary but What can be better than College canteen Vadapav.. right?? This is My daily go to place.. Snacks are Fun with friends here.. love it so much..

For more Pictures and Reviews follow me on Instagram
@ thekomalsoni

The place serves one of the costliest Vadapav I've had. The same is also very tasty and is full of butter. the best time to have it is in monsoon.
Dhavin Manghnani
The best vadapav in ahmedabad you can have is here the place is in a street price is bit high but the taste which u get makes u forget everything go for it 👍🏻👍🏻
Vidhi Goswami
One of my friend suggested this place saying it serves best spiciest vadapav. Agreed it does serve best vadapav in Ahmedabad and perhaps the costliest. How can anyone charge 70 for a butter vadapav? Plus the staff is very rude.

Tried -
cheese deluxe vadapav ₹140
Butter vadapav ₹70
Mukhi Virad
The best mouthwatering vadapau in ahmedabad.
Specially the cheese vadapau and delux one were toooooo good.
Me and my friend regularly go there and enjoy the best vadapau of ahmedabad
CHIRAG SONI
The small shop in the lane opposite H.L. College , serving only vadapav and butter milk. Without any doubt the best vadapav in Ahmedabad.

It's a self service outlet , service - preparation speed is good , you don't have to wait much even while having a rush.

Taste is so much maintained over the years ( may be decades ) , I can easily bet to identify vadapav with blindfold. People who don't like too spicy ones can order "light " versions , and they do take care of that.

Yes price is exorbitant, you can't get vadapav with Rs. 100 ++ anywhere else. But the taste and quality is unmatched.
Khyati Bhasin
Vadapav here is undoubtedly one of the best in Ahmedabad but they should really work upon shifting it to the outer road making it easy for all their customers.
Pratik Shah
This man is crazy, just ask yourself who pays 90 ₹ for cheese vadapav with no extra feature that it worth. Small pav size. Normal cheese. Small vada. & asking extra chatni makes pain in their eyes. Just want to tell this greedy lari owner stop cheating pepole under fake branding. You were brand once upon time. Now you clearly become greedy. Avoid place to save your day.
Jeet Shah
You guyz are cheaters!!!!!!!!You just know how to loot customers and talk in bad tone with them.Your vada pav shits like you disgusting people.
Jerry
I am not the one who gets fond of vadapav so easily and when i tried their vadapav after hearing so much hype about them,i must say this is the most amazing and delicious vadapav i had and about the price factor which is a little bit bit high in this outlet but it is a must try in ahmedabad once!!!

Oil Vadapav : Rs. 40
Butter Vadapav : Rs. 70
Cheese Vadapav : Rs. 110
Extra Butter Cheese Vadapav : Rs. 110
Butter Milk : Rs. 20
Packaged Drinking Water : Rs. 2 , Rs. 10 & Rs. 20

The menu is as short as their empty and cheapest minds in the city.
Worst place, Worst parking, Worst rules and regulations, Worst vadapav, Worst buttermilk, Worst disposable dishes, Worst people and The most best worst thing is the 2-3 people standing inside the stall along with 2-3 people standing outside the stall, All of them are the 3rd grade people or even worst than that. As they see any vehicle coming to them, first of all they will see that they have the parking space in their 10 feet by 10 feet of roadside by the stall, if not they all 5-6 people together will peform a parade together that they are finished by shaking there empty heads and hands right and left and make fun of the customer laughing at them i.e. The stock is over
If incase there is space to park they will make the customer annoyed by asking them to park like they say as if it is a military camp
Then after if someone is free from their side they will come to take the order taking there fake faces along
And if there are more than 2 vehicles present they will clearly tell that it will take time 10-15 minutes
As they can't magage it easily due to absence of mind and illiteracy
Once the order comes they will rarely bother to come take the used plates and money
Service people are worst as they serve in disposable plates in which roadside people also don't eat
The whole lane of there stall is a below 10 km/hr speed and no horn lane
As they are not allowed by the society
Inshort they are cowards

After reading this only people who don't have any atticates can go there again

Hidden inside a society lane, the joint was on my to-visit and must-visit list since a couple of years, and finally, I managed to find the place and satiate my already-craving-the-best-vadapav taste buds!!

Tried butter vadapav and cheese vadapav.

A perfect blend of spices and esp. just the right amount of salt, inside the bun as well as in the vada!
Even after half an hour my vada pavs were still crispy and tasted superlicious!
The cheese and the pav were fresh! Unlike other outlets,
their store is really open and looks pretty hygenic!
I loved their innovative way of packing which prevented the food in the parcel from becoming moist and soggy!
Definitely I'll visit again and again and again after that! :)
The Chef From India
So a friend suggested this place and we went there. He said they have THE most amazing vadapavs in the city and being a fan of vadapav, I couldn't resist. It is in this narrow lanes where you would thing twice before entering with your car but then there isn't much parking on the road outside as well so just reach there somehow, I'd suggest walk into the lane after parking outside. It is filled with cars that have come there to have this vadapav. Now when we reached there, I assumed the normal going rates for the same but man was I wrong! They charge hefty prices for this thing really! 60 - 90 bucks for vadapav! I was baffled. I mean it did taste good, he added loads of butter and cheese I ll give him that. But was it 90 bucks good? I am not so sure. The chaas (which was so chilled it tasted divine) is sort of mandatory given the vadapav is so spicy. Honestly I think the place is charging heaps and bounds more than what's worth and call me judgemental but I guess it is because of all the audis and bmws that line up to have those vadapavs, that's what's made them so expensive, not the quality nor the ingredients but the clientele.
Mk
Overrated place I would say. Nothing extra ordinary and most expensive 40 RS for oil and 70 RS for butter. 110 for some extra butter :). They must be joking. Not even worth for 10 RS.
Purvi Kotak
Have been visiting this place since last 5 - 6 years. Best Vadapav in the City. Again I was there today and in addition to Vadapav & Masala Butter Milk, I also tried their Masala Bun (without Vada). It tasted awsome. I always forget to take pic, I always recall after I ate it so no pic even this time but a MUST HAVE Vadapav of Ahmedabad
Manish Agarwal
The most amazing vadapav's in ahmedabad, been going here since over a decade and cant get enough, the fact that they are 4x priced from a good vadapav seller, says it all... i never eat chutneys from a roadside stall, except this place...
Vyom Vasavada
Have been visiting this place since past 8 years. And believe me, this place serves the best vadapavs in ahmedabad. A bit costly, but you'd like to pay that amount for the quality that they deliver. A must visit place if you are a foodie and you are in Ahmedabad.
Zara
Amazing is just not enough to say! If you want to eat a vadapau loaded with actual butter; This is the place to be...it is pricey but definitely worth a try
Delhi.Food.Guides
A small eating place tucked in a corner in a small lane. A hidden gem and a delightful place for vadapav lovers. It has simple, butter and deluxe vadapav. All are amazing. Go for it.
Delhifoodguides@Gmail.com
Darsh Shah
R u really vadapav lover..!!?? So this is the place for you.. When we ask any amdavadi's for vadapav everyone say " vadapav to HL na j.." so really it is worth of money.
Parthlochan Bayanwala
Extremely costly for a butter vada Pav from a street vendor....

Taste is average nothing great about it..., car service is available....

Service is polite & prompt but still pricing is double....

Satya Mehta
Its part of my daily meal

Vyom Vasavada Navlin Kaur Nupur Raval

We are part of jury who decides when it most spicy.
Very costly. 😂60 bucks😂for butter😂

The most popular hit among Amdavadis is definitely HL Vada Pav. Located in a small lane opposite HL College, University Road, it has major footfalls of the young crowd from nearby colleges. It is a small shop with no basic seating so you have to turn to your vehicles for that comfort. The Vada Pav served is fresh and with even roasting of Masala. Try their Butter Vada Pav, which will a worthwhile try for your buds. It comes with Chutney & Sauce to enjoy it with. You may find it high-priced in comparison to other outlets, but it is worth it. (Rs. 50 for Butter Vada Pav)
Jay Patel
It's fu*king awesome! I had cheese vadapavu today! It was too tasty and spicy..yummyyy! Can't control myself to have it again and again! Must visit once in a life!
Foodies
Awesome place for vadapav.price is high but the bun quality & taste never disappoint you. Must Visit This hygiene place....................!!!!!
Kaarnik & Meera
i find it completely overrated
tastewise is good
but c'mmon 60 rupees i mean this is too much
nt that wow factor
nothing new in chutney or any other masala in vadapav
ahmedabad has way more good option for vadapav
Swapnil Rao
One of the best place in Ahmedabad to have a 'A-one' quality Vadapav.
Have been visiting this place frequently almost since 5 years!
4.5 stars for its taste and quality!
-0.5 star for its price !! Too much ! People have money to waste can have a butter vadapav though its taste is awesome but prices quoted are too much here!
Good place , great taste but too much costly!
Pradeep Mavani
Have had their vada pav several time.

Being a person from me, it was for the first time for me to have Vadapav with Pav roasted in butter like Dabeli and served with tomato ketch up instead of Chutneys.

Anyways the taste is good per Ahmedanad standards.
Margik Patel
Toooooooo much costly. Even their buttermilk is costly. Dont even ask about vada pao. People say they are very good. Yeah they are but cost 60 rupees per piece. Instead try SHREEJI KRUPA VADAPAO VASTRAPUR. They taste same for 25 rupees
Utsav Shah
I ate H.L.Vadapav many times but as per my friend request I visit it again today & as everytime it is awesome.the Pav they use is very soft & tasty plus chutney is very good & full of butter🍔🍔Zinal Shah
Mr.Chintan Shah
Same taste since many years, enjoy butter or cheese vadapav. They don't have any seating arrangements. Enjoy masala Chas after vadapav.
Ek baar khavoge, diwane ho jagged 😁
Veggie Boy
Trying to locate HL vadapav was kinda tricky for me as majority of people were not aware of the place. Finally managed to locate the place in a by lane off the main road. This is literally a hole in the wall with a cart fitted in between which was kinda amusing.
Ordered a butter vadapav to see what the fuss was all about.
The vadapav was well ... very buttery. The only taste I could decipher was that of butter. The potato filling was very mildly spiced and hence couldn't get much flavour of the vada.
However it seems the place has its regulars as I could see people coming in the small lane to get their vadapavs.
Last 60 bucks for vadapav is not particularly value for money considering you are having it standing on the road..
Jaimin
Out of curiosity i visited this place going through 4.0 ratings it have. Ordered butter vadapav and chaas. No doubt it was fresh and place was hygienic but the real taste of vadapav was missing with high amount of butter they used for making it. I think this place is overhyped. It was not spicy at all. Courtesy: loads of butter.
Dhruvin Shah
Was mt 1st time here. Had heard a lot abt it..
We had cheese vadapau.. and butter milk.
And cheese vadapau costs 90 rs.
Bt it was nice and worth it. Buttermilk was very nice.
Vadapau was spicy. Their chatni and ketchup is also nice. Bt go for normal vadapau. Cheese blocked the real vadapau taste.
A must try.
Madhur Mehta
It's for all the hardcore lovers of cheese, butter, spicy food, vada n pau. I still am grateful to the friend who showed me this place n ever since I vnt eaten 'spicy masala cheese pav' n 'spicy cheese vadapau' elsewhere. it's soo tasteful. It's buttermilk also is a speciality. Prices are high, yes. But it has its own charm n crowd. A place to be tried once AtleAst. A Must try for all the foodies.
Sharvil Patel
No one, absolutely no one can prepare vada pau the way these guys do. I mean their butter vada pau can surely cause a coronary blockage, but it is surely worth taking the risk.

All my college life, me and my friends used to spend a lot of our time at this place, and even now, after almost ten years, the taste is still the same.
Vandan Dave
I love this place dont know why, its just because i have been visiting it since i was 10. The vada pavs are fresh and tasty and i love the combination of chilled butter milk served with it. They have overpriced the vada pavs but still i love their vada pavs.
Vishal Mistry
As named, tried both butter and cheese, the taste is good. Slightly different, nothing new in it. The crunchiness would make u feel good. Should go and try once. Quality is okay. !!
Archit Agarwal
Overhyped and over priced vadapavs. Jay bhavani and shreejee are much better in taste. Don't know why such craziness.
Sweety Patel
it's awesome and very testy...!!!
guys come and enjoy the best quality of vadapav.!!
price doesn't matters quality matters..!!
buttermilk offered is very chilled.!!! :-)
Vipul Kava
Fadu hai boss. It was just amazing to eat vadapav with cheesessy. Awesome yaar. I think in Ahmedabad if you want to eat a vadapav! really come here at once I Love it. Price goes matter here because it's costly then other but about quality n food it was just amazing to eat here. I wanna go tomorrow to eat. :)
Jd Jaldeep

My favourite vadapav ever since last 15 years, I have been living overseas since long time but every time i visit India I never miss this :)
Prayosha
best vadapav so far. all time fav.
Shreya Bagthariya
The best vadapav available in town..my all time fav with consistent quality.
Noone can beat the chutney they serve wd vadapav..

Though few find it pricey but i guess cost is justified when you get quality nd hygiene both!
Neha Agarwal
H.L. Vadapav stands upto its reputation. One of the best vadapav I have eaten. Though Mumbai is famous for its vadapav but I would always recommend vadapav here as they are not dry like the ones in Mumbai. H.L vadapav serves you vadapav full of butter, cheese and a lot of spices. The vadapav actually melts in your mouth because of the butter.
I would recommend this place to everyone who likes food with overdose of butter and spices.
Jaideep A. Prabhu
HL Vadapav is literally a hole in the wall that serves some addictively delicious vadapav. The outlet sells its goodies off a cart jammed in a nook and there is very little parking around it.

The vadapav, however, is simply mouthwatering and comes in three varieties - normal (oil), butter, or cheese. Mumbaikars seem to relish making their vadapav dry, but Amdavadis add some chutney to theirs and make it wet. That way, it does not dry out your mouth when you eat it.

The prices are ridiculously high - double what they are in other similar outlets - but the taste is to die for! Clearly, there is a reason HL Vadapav can get away with such prices.

The place offers cold buttermilk with cumin and salt to quench your thirst, a relief in the hot Amdavad sun!

All I can say in conclusion (and with regret) is: Mumbaikars move over, for Amdavadi vadapav humiliates anything you've got!
Maunish Bhavsar
Zakkas vadapav..
Milind Sharma
One of the oldest and the yummiest vadapav stall in town. The parking is a but fussy, but other than that excellent service. it is expensive compared to other vadapav vendors, the taste compromises for all. A must eat place.
Rupesh Panchal
So butterly... so good... better than Mc Aloo Tikki. I m ardent fan of H L Vadapaav since last many years. And butter milk? So gooooooooood :)
Mujtaba RG
Grab it. Try it. Feel it.
One of the best vadapaav in ordinary street. One must try. Recommended for you. Full on charkhaa. Indian burger .

Devansh Shah
If you are seeking some deep fried buttery vadapav this joint will get you that, the place is not good and they don't allow to stay their much. Their special chutney adds a special taste
Sunny Dabholkar
I would suggest you all to go and hangout at Jay Bhavani Vadapau much better then hl vadapau nd have some nice food in d cheaper price.... ...
Dhaval Bharwad
Hello,
If u r done wid ambika dalvad..den exactly opposite side of it der is h.l vadapav which serves one of d best vadapavs in Ahmedabad...price lil high but u wont b disappointed which d vadapav
Masoom Modh
Awesome place.. A nice hangout place for the HL students.. Nice sitting arrangements, tasty food and least of all a place where students are free to chill, enjoy.. I'd definitely give 5 stars but I'm giving 4.5 Bsce I still think that there is need for improvement in time taken to give the food..
Jitendra Zala
It's really awesome. It's worth to pay for quality. Superb taste.....once you try it , you'll love it forever. Utterly butterly vadapav. ...
Njoy every bite. :-)
Siddharth Doshi
Its vada pav that is overly buttered and over priced. It tastes decent but definitely not worth 60 bucks. If I am paying 300 bucks for a cup of tea in 5 star, its understood, I am paying it for service , food quality and ambience. This place is definitely not value for money.
Dhanu.chopra
Its too yummy i know its i'll costly but taste is superb..u should try atleats one time and cleaniness is also good..i like the taste too much whaeather its costly...i dont mine
Viral Bhavsar
Overly hyped!!! Not even worth Rs.20 and they sell this at Rs.50...People must be coming here to show off their richness :D like " Me car me baith ke mehnga vadapav khata hu" :D People should try Shreeji vadapav at vijay cross road, Goli vadapav at vastrapur, Bajrang vadapav nr memnagar firestation (although his taste detriorated these days) and you'll nvr gonna go back to this h l vadapav...i bet....never
Bhashit Shah
Vadapav is best but price they taking 70rs for cheese and 50rs for butter totally unfair..but if you have to taste real vadapav go once...
Karan Maniar
Best Jain vadapav ever had in my life the taste is best
Paavan
Not a worth wasting so much in just a vadapav
Karen
Awesome vada pav
Aradhi Shah
I still remember the first time I had it, I couldnt believe it was that good. Their loads of butter, their some special masala and their buttermilk also everything awesome. I keep going back to this place. This is the best vadapav ever.

The Mercedes of vada pav.... Even my friend from Mumbai love the vada pav here more then Mumbai ... Super yummy and mind blowing ....
Parth Sanghavi
Tongue sticking taste. Tasty and yummy tummy filling street food. I've been there many times. Lovely place. Nice food.
Hardik K Patel
Its a amazing place! One of the best vadapav of the town. But I think its overpriced now a days. U wont get to sit . Try masala chhas also. If someone is coming from out of the Gujarat then you must take them to this place!
Rushabh Patel
Price may be high for some people, but taste is very good, specially the green chutney, I often visit this place and I am never dissatisfied by them in taste or anything else.

While thinking for writing a review of my recent visits, felt why not write something for street food, at last they deserve more real credit for not only filling our stomachs but also for tempting us again and again.

After quite long, went to HL vadapav today and picked up butter vadapav.

Jay bhawani, some of other local vendors all serves quite yummy vadapav but moment you eat HL's you simply feel that this is the best vadapav I can have....his vadapav is nicely made...not over spicy...not over buttered...right amount of ingredients also make more delicious food!

Lot many amdavadis won't agree here as they feel n believe extra butter n extra cheese make food yummy but it's not true...saying that frm personal experience - as I'm part time chef.

His chutney is also something you can relish...not that you need water alike other places's chilly filled chutney.

Apart frm his location and little parking issue for even few mins....his vadapav gets full 100 out of 90!

Missing 10 - has minor room to improve the receipt to make it more delicious!
