Review Bera Samosa - Ahmedabad

A street food spot and what a great place my god. We took 100gms of samosa and meat balls each and both were absolutely heavenly! The samosa was filled with keema, the meat balls were juicy, the entire plate was heavenly! Must must must have!

Bera Samosa House sells these keema Samosa and Keema Balls which are unfired and you bring it home and fry them hot whenever you need finger food or starters at home. 20 years back, my uncle introduced these food to me and everytime I visit, Ahmedabad, I have been enjoying it. It's 20 years now, the cane basket has now changed to paper box, but the taste is still the same. Try it for sure. It's clean and hygienic.. And super tasty.

Great place to buy chicken and mutton samosa and kebab in Ahmedabad. They are one of the oldest and best know for meat samosa and kebabs that are fried and flavoured so nicely too. Definitely a must try outlet

I've been working with V Design for the past year, and they have been a lifesaver. We needed an LED signboard to create an impactful display, and they managed to deliver exactly what we were looking for.

One of the best samosa I've ever had in entire state. This is what you call the real taste

Delivering Beef without mentioning it to customers & selling it as best seller & must try, both restaurant & delivery partner #zomato is fooling their customers. banned this restaurant as beef is banned in our country 🇮🇳 stop hurting people's religious belief.

They will be ignorant to you !! Don't know why they behave like that !! The samosa here is ok just ok !! A bit oilyy !! And the kimaa is good !

This place located in narrow street of bhadra was used to sell good keema samosa and kabab but it has now not maintained the same taste and quality that used to be .
As they started expanding business and opening new outlets their quality had been degraded. The samosa are now filled with more onions than keema and it just spoils the taste. You can still try chicken Dana here but for samosa and kabab this is not the one.

This place serves awesome Mutton Samosas and Kebabs. They also have good Fried Chicken. They have some seating in centre of market but not a good option. Best option is take away. Food however is delicious with spicy tinge to it.

Traditional mutton samosa ..good taste. I love it....kabab is also good ..and specially Dana chicken is very delicious.. u can't get like this..

I remember this place from my childhood as they serve Mouth watering mutton samosas and kebabs which is served with bun. Non veg lovers should try these samosas and kebabs once if love to try something crunchy with minced mutton in every bite.

in the heart of the city it is one of the best place to have really good non veg samosa and kebabs. they have few other branches but i prefer to go here only. going here since 2004 and still every time i went there i feel the same taste in the samosas and kebabs.

apart from kebabs and samosa they also provide chiken dana and few other items but i alway go there for deep fried Spicy samosa and kebabs.

both samosa and kebabs are served hot and they are spicy too so i would suggest if you can't handle spiciness then have it with the bun. the bun they provide is really fresh and bit sweet in taste.

don't go by the look of this place. it is really small and cozy place but the food is exceptional here.

Food :4/5
Service:4/5
ambiance: for me it doesn't matter as long as i am getting really great food
vfm: 5/5

My first to Bera was in 1975. The taste totally blew me away and I made it a point to frequent it regularly. I did this for over twenty years. A part of my shopping personality is to be loyal to the places I patronize until they offer me compelling reasons to shop elsewhere. In this case, I stopped going to Bera after twenty years for two reasons: The quality is nowhere what it used to be, and secondly it does not take too much to maintain a decent standard of hygiene. Enough said.

Bera Samosa has been here for decades! Their longevity is testimony of how much this place is loved by the people of this beautiful city. They have numerous centres now, but if I am not mistaken, this outlet is the oldest.

This is a proper old city shop, with no ambience to boast about. A shop from the good ol' times when people thronged restaurants/eateries for their food and nothing else :)
Whenever I am in the old city for some shopping or work, or accompanying my friends for their bike-repair/modification works, I make it a point to visit Bera Samosa.

The layout is very simply. Two rows of tables. That's it. If you're lucky, you'll get a table to sit. Else, be happy with take-aways :)

They serve hardly three to four items here. But what they do, they do best!
They serve chicken samosas, chicken kebabs, meat balls. That's all I've tried there. Always!
And yes, to go with these deep fried delicacies, they have equally soft buns to offer. Once you start gorging on these, you won't even realize and you'll be a plate down and asking for more! Such is the taste of these samosas and kebabs. Once I'm done, I make sure to parcel maybe half a kilo of each of these for my family :)

You will see a line of people waiting for their take-aways during rush hours in evenings. Such is the pulling power of this place. Also, being located in a highly populated area surely helps.
Although their rates have gone up pretty much over the years, their taste is the same. And I feel happy for such places as I sincerely believe that the presence of such places is a boon for us all food-lovers :D

May Bera Samosa be there for decades to come and keep on feeding us with their oily samosas and kebabs. Amen.
Karishma Pais (Kim)
Bera is famous for their samosas. The samosas are filled with mutton and encased in thin pastry and deep fried.

If you want to eat here, don't bother looking into the large kadai in which he fries the samosas, meat balls and chicken which is located right at the entrance. Just step in, order however much you want by weight and either pack it for a takeaway or eat at the location.

I would recommend eating at the location, because all these items are such that they taste best straight out of the frying pan, rather than slightly cold and soggy or reheated in a microwave or tawa.

I personally prefer their chicken kebabs (deep fried) to the samosas and meat balls.
