Review Dosa Express - Ahmedabad

There is a very nice ambiance in the mall. I had ordered a plain dosa which was delicious!!! There were many different varieties of dishes made out of dosa, it was tempting but I didn't try :). It seems this place has a new name "Dosa Express".

By far the best South Indian food I have ever tested. It is not much expensive and quality is excellent. Staff is responsive and polite. Food delivery is fast and its worth to note that there is self service here so. It is disappointing that such nice place is rated bad on review which is highly unlikely.

Great food, really good staff. If you’re a dosa fan this place is a must visit. They have different combos, and a lot of varieties.

The only south indian i had ever tired in Ahmedabad for the first time and i loved it The mall is of course very clean and everything the food is so fresh and yummy the place gives you wide range of options for south indian food as well They are the best at the location I love it Recommend it highly

Testy Dosa

Well i tried cheese mexican dosa, it was testy and very delicious, you should try this one, pic below.<br/>I dont know about other dishes but this is must try.

Had rava dosa. It was the best rava dosa i have had. Size was huge enuf, even taste was perfect. Best part was even at end it was crispy. Enjoyed thoroughly.

Awesome food,i always crave for dosas :p tried this place i must say they offer good quantity and sambhar was bang on i've never had such good and tastefull sambhar,dosa was big and crispy they have many combos will try other stuff very soon

Reading the name ' dosa place' i expeceted them to be specialized in south indian cuisines but its Not at all worth the price they charge..<br/>Tried masala dosa for ₹110 .. nothing special in either dosa or the masala..! Dosa was Not even crispy ! Let alone expecting masala to be good<br/>..<br/>Only good thing was the sambar ( different than the regular ones we get) and the chutneys they served ( my ratings are only for that) but again those were very less in quantity.. overall not worth it..<br/>

Nothing to say about an ambiance as it's a part of the foodcourt in a mall.<br/>We tried with Masala dosa and bought a bottle of water.<br/>Masala Dosa was not like we can say wow but was better than any road-side stall or a restaurant.<br/>At least it was sure about the quality not that bad.<br/>I would not prefer to try again.

It was our second time visit to this place. First time we tried masala dosa & uttapa.(along with got plain dosa free;-) ) red chutney was awesome (reminded me Manglore visit same like south Indian )<br/>Today we had family dosa around 3 feet long. <br/> Tasty dosa but this time red chutney disappointed us. Family dosa is heavy for two.<br/>Over all good experience<br/>Will visit again:-))

Hello people <br/>As the name suggests its a south Indian cuisine only restaurant and well they do make good dosas. Not authentic south Indian dosa but the ones we like in gujarat . We had oderded rava mysore onion and rava mysore masala dosa both were good and tasty. Occasionally good to go

We wer on a shopping spree at alpha mall. Craving for dosa took us to d fud eatery at alpha mall. We had sada rava n mysore rava masala dosa. They wer delicious. Sambhar n chutney too. 👍😉 we wer too hungry to take pics😉

Pitiful good, not south indian at all. Ordered a Mysore masala dosa and the masala had capsicum who puts that in a dosa. The dosa was soggy not crispy. People, don't go there with any expectations of a south indian meal cause they serve none

Yesterday I went to alpha one mall and was on the third floor and after thinking a lot I thought of making this spot a try. I ordered a chili paneer onion Uthappa thinking of some fusion with a south Indian dish but was extremely disappointed when I saw the dish, firstly they were too late in getting it up, till then it was like Ok it's a fusion dish so it would be worth waiting , well their CHILLI PANEER UTHAPPA means they will put plain paneer and plain green chilies in the uthappa.. I was like I seriously waited for this , and after seeing my uthappa It felt like i got BABAJI KA THULLU :D .. well sambhar was fine and chutney again a turn down. I won't go to this joint again..
