It is one of the oldest sweet shop, very first shop of Kandoi in Ahmedabad, it is 175yrs old sweet shop and very famous in Abad. You would get premium sweets with authentic taste here. You can even sit there and eat inside the shop.

Visited this place to have Gujarati special sweet called Mohanthal and it is a must have when you are around here. You would obviously want to take some home. They have a wide range of sweets too besides Mohanthal

Very delicious sweets. Must try Kesar Mohanthal. They are serving since 1835, almost more than 177 years. The way they maintained the quality and hygiene is just wow. Mouth watering sweets. I can say it’s beyond imagination. This outlet is kind of difficult to reach via car, so better to take auto or just walk. They claim that their sweet dish can last long for upto 10 days even in hot summer without any Fridge.

This outlet of Kandoi Bhogilal Mulchand is located in the bustling Manek Chowk which is best reachable by foot. The chain is 150+ years old and clearly, there is a reason why it still exists. Visited Jan 2022. Firstly let me say I'm not a Guju so keep this in mind while reading further. Only bought snacks here, I'm not too fond of sweets. Mixture/Chavanu (Rs 70 for 250gm), Fulwadi (Rs 70 for 250gm) and Methi & Jeera Khakra (Rs 75 for 250gm). The snacks were good, but frankly for snacks at least, I don't think it's worth paying the 'Kandoi premium'. See attached pics. Let me repeat myself : wish more shops in Guj were friendly to non-Gujus, like, have menu/price lists in Hindi or English also.

This place is famous for their Mohanthal... And I purchased just that.. did try their other mithais, they were average.. But Mohanthal is amazing... Ghee laden and soft. Their packaging is also great for traveling point of view. Just ask them to pack for long distance. Shop opens at 8:30am sharp.! And fresh sweets available...!

It is not only a sweet shop but more than that. Its a tradition of 173 years. Its the best sweet shop standing tall since 1845. I tried moong dal halwa at the oldest shop of them at manekchawk. You can literally feel the pure ghee with every bite of sweets. Hygiene :- 5/5 Staff :- 5/5 Food :- 5/5 If you have a sweet tooth you must have to visit this place. I suggest you to visit and feel more joy to your celebrations. If you visit ahmedabad and if u don't visit this place you missed it man. Kandoi serves best sweets in the world. I tried kaju katri and mohanthal. Both were awesome. Mohanthal is exceptionally good. It just melts in your mouth. Superb quality. Prices are higher but worthy. They add lodz and lodz of ghee i their sweets especially in mohanthal. You can see it inside the box. Evenafter having it, your hands becomes greezy.

They serve Best mohanthal in the world, other sweets are also nice, since 2000 i am buying sweet from kandoi. Their farsan is also nice, all things are costly but than they provide bezt quality.
