Old and classic! Visited this place after almost 5-6 years 😋 I ordered : - Aloo Matar Grill Sandwich - Aloo Matar Sandwich - Cheese Vegetable Sandwich These are my favourite since years and tastes same 😋

I have been a loyal patron of Neelum Sandwich for the past 27 years, and it continues to be one of my favorite places in Ahmedabad. Yesterday, I savored the delightful Aloo Mutter, Vegetable, and Cheese Chilli Garlic sandwiches. The Cheese Chilli Garlic sandwich was exceptionally tasty, perfect for cheese lovers. The consistent quality and flavors keep me coming back, and I highly recommend it to others who appreciate a cheesy delight. Neelum Sandwich, truly delivers a delicious and satisfying experience.

One of the oldest Puff & Sandwich shop in Ahmedabad. Various types of Puff, with tasty toppings available here. But nowadays needs to improve taste.

One of the oldest sandwich place I know of in gurukul area, the cheese aloo mutter sandwich is my favourite, definitely a must try if you're around that area.

This place had great food! The service was great and there were lots of options you should come here!

Today, I went there for the first time. My goodness. Beyond my expectations. They serve hot and fresh sandwiches. I heard It is a bit chaotic and crowded,so from my part of view, it's best to eat their sandwiches 🥪🥪 in the afternoon. The word chaotic and crowded give me evidence that their sandwiches are scrumptious, delicious😋😋😋 and mouth watering🤤🤤

Best place in gurukul road to have a gummy full snack in a budget 😋. There Sandwich and pizza are of another level no one can say no to neelan once they taste there variety of Sandwiches.

Small place serving deliciously tasty sandwich and more in most crowded road of gurukul area. i had tried their cheese puff and cheese onion garlic capcicum grill sandwich. it was very well prepared and good in taste.

After stucking in traffic for half hour, finally took UTurn metres away from #weekendwindow , went home and took two wheeler to Ahmedabad one Mall in a hope to try Tacobell. 10 minutes in parking line, 30 minutes tacobell waiting, 25 minutes Pizza Hut waiting, mind was out of any ideas. Couldn't resist such waitings because of hunger. Suddenly, Sandwich came in my mind as a saviour and immediately went to Neelam, Gurukul. One of the best alumutter sandwiches available in Ahmedabad. That crunchiness of sev, melt in mouth alu mutter mava and masala on the top. I am eating the sandwiches there from the time when it was at 8₹. Now, 35₹. Ordered a Italian pizza and 4 alumutters. I was there with my brother so don't judge my appetite 😜. #sadsundayimproved

Good Taste. Recommended. Maintains Hygiene. Packing and Handling is taken care too. Time of delivery. Varieties of items. All taste are too good.

Food is not bad and it's hygienic too but the cashier's behavior is really rude and unacceptable. From his way of talking, it seemed like he is too proudy of his richness.

The gurukul shop quality is better than Ankur branch. but Gurukul shop is not available for Zomato delivery.... so sad. Sandwiches and Pizza r awesome.

Used to be great at making sandwiches but now very poor service gives burned sandwiches. Also no acceptance in their mistake done by providing such poor quality product.

One of my favourties places to visit whenever i visit my relatives in ahmedabad. I still remember few years back when it owned its first outlet in memnagar which has expanded to 3-4 outlets now yet retaining the quality.<br/><br/>There are few items i really would suggest:<br/>1._  Cheese onion capsicum garlic :- Hot selling item over here and spicy <br/>2.) Anything from puff should do.

Every now and then owner is fighting with his customer they have ego and attitude that their business is doing well so we can speak anything to every one. Mannerless ,go out to other places but never at NEELAM

We have been here today. We ordered aloo mutter and cheese vegetable sandwich. Taste was good, bread was fresh and we ordered chocolate slice also, price of slice I found bit high and taste was okay.

The dabeli tastes tooo awesome. Which wasn't to much spicy and not that sweet to. Otherwise i have seen places serving very sweet dabeli. This place also serves some very good sandwiches. Even the non grilled ones a re superb in taste.

I have been visiting this outlet for around a decade now. Kinda too late for a review, but never mind. <br/><br/>I love two of their sandwiches the most: Aloo Mutter & Veg Surprise. <br/><br/>Aloo mutter at a lot of places elsewhere, is generally on a sweeter side. The filling being similar to that of dabeli as well. <br/><br/>But here, its unique. You will fall in love with it, in no time! <br/><br/>The sev they sprinkle on the top of it, adds a little crunch to the sandwich. I love this about their preparations, & a lot of places don't serve sev at all. <br/><br/>Veg surprise is a true delight to the taste buds. I ain't a fan of sandwich dressings or mayonnaise. <br/><br/>However, the generous spread of mayo in this sandwich uplifts its taste to another level altogether. <br/><br/>Chilli flakes sprinkled inside give it a nice flavour as well, thankfully not making it spicy. <br/><br/>Both of these are a must try! <br/><br/>Yet another visit and I tried the below listed sandwiches: <br/><br/>Veg Fantasy Grilled: This one came across as a weird combination of green chutney, veggies, and mayonnaise. I could not have this one at all, and with great efforts I finished my part (I hate wasting food) as I had a friend's company to help me with the other half. <br/><br/>Aloo Mutter Fantasy Grilled: On the contrary, this one was a blockbuster. One of the most unique and interesting sandwiches ever. It had aloo mutter, red chilli garlic sauce (best thing about this), and mayonnaise. My eyes popped out as I took the first morsel in. Staff is not friendly.. When u ask them for anything they won't give you proper answer.. When u ask them for chutney or ketchup then they will say it's not possible and they will charge extra.. 👎

They have been around for long now and have always served great sandwiches. Have never really tried anything else at Neelam. The grilled sandwiches are all good and veg club is my favourite. Amongst the plain ones I really like the pineapple cheese jam one, it's not your usual sandwich and the three ingredients go together surprisingly well!!<br/><br/>The service is quick and prices are only slightly more than reasonable. Good for sudden late evening hunger pangs!

Tried out the italian pizza and chilly cheese garlic grill sandwich and puff.<br/>The italian pizza is really good! Just like out desi gujju style pizza!<br/>The sandwich was waayy too spicy! And a definite must have for all the spice lovers out there! Also they put in a generous amount of cheese.<br/>The seating is not too good<br/>I would prefer take away! <br/>The puff was really tasty topped with veggies and cheese.

Big Big Big fan of Neelam's sandwiches. Tried their grilled as well as normal sandwiches. Loved their regular sandwiches. I always prefer Cheese Chutney and Alu Mutter Garlic. Pizzas are also very good. Very famous and well known snack point.

Quick serving place for sandwiches and puffs. Order taking and explanation of varieties have been good. Grilled sandwiches well prepared , fillings have their distinct taste with no excess use of mayo . Having some sitting arrangements as well. Worth try.

Though its a tiny outlet, the staff here manages to provide good service along with great taste. Ordered a cheese chutney grilled sandwich and a club sandwich for take away and both of these were quite tasty. They have got some sitting arrangements as well. The hygiene level was up to the mark and the rates are completely justified by the quantity and the taste. Worth visiting at times.

With time the taste has not changed! Always crowded place. They serve widest range of sandwiches and with super fast service. There is never space to sit, one literally struggles to place his order but then the amazing taste makes it all worth!

This 4 is because they used to have some tremendously amazing sandwiches awhile ago. Their grilled Cheese Garlic Sandwich and Italian Pizza were two hot sellers, recently visited and tried their Regular CTC was highly disappointed as the sauce was a chill spread with raw flakes which was really spicy and just cut onions and capscicum mixed in a bowl with other spices. When it was served it tasted like two slices of bread between loads of cheese and raw undelectable stuffing. This was one of those get to sandwich places hoping to have a better experience the next time!

If you want to eat variety range of sandwiches then you can definitely prefer neelam sandwhich. All the sandwiches in the spl. Sandwhich range are awesome. A must visit place😊

I was skeptical to go this place i dont knw y. My brother took me herr. We ordered veg puff and cheese garlic club sandwich. The puff was amazing. Its hard to get puffs so tasty in Ahmedabad . When we got the sandwiches, we were dumbstruck. I have never seen so many cheese in any sandwich i had so far in any part of the country. The sandwich was loaded with cheese. I mean three times the cheese i had expected from a cheese sandwich. The taste was just wow. I would surely b visiting this place soon. It doesn't give ambience but the best sandwiches. Deal, right?! 😊 <br/>The staff is quick, too quick i should say. Not at all pricey. Must must must go!

Must try aloo mutter sandwich.. One of my favourite.. Italian pizza is also good.. Service is little slow some times and seating arrangement is not properly managed.. In fact only some stools are available for seating.. Still manageable as eating sandwich would not take much time.. Must visit..

Though Neelam serves tasty sandwiches and Pizza, its a boredom now to go and eat same old school Sandwiches and Pizza.<br/><br/>Those who have never tried such kind of Sandwiches and so called Amdavadi style Italian Pizza, must try this. As far as Service is concerned, this place is always full with orders and waiting is obvious. Alu Mutter Sandwich is the most famous for those who likes combination of Sweet and Spicy.

It is a sandwich joint at gurukul....providing average taste sandwiches nothing new....same old boring menu....<br/>Nd the worst part is the workers attitude....too arrongant dont know how to behave with customers.....not worth going....there are many other options in the same locality....!

My friend wanted to have snacks, and she likes their sandwiches so she suggested me this place. It was also nearby from the place where we were, and I had heard about their sandwiches earlier so we decided to go there.<br/><br/>It was a tiny shop on Gurukul road, and has outdoor seating arrangements. They have stools to sit. It was an evening when we visited the place, so traffic was on peak. There were so much noise and pollution. In short, they don't have anything like ambience.<br/><br/>Now coming on to service.<br/>They had taken almost 15-20 minutes in taking my order. I was really frustrated by this. Even I wanted to run from the place, but my friend just wanted to have their sandwich so waited so long. Service was literally pathetic.<br/><br/>I ordered Veg Delite Grilled Sandwich. The place where this shop is located is sersly astonishing.<br/>They have really utilized this place .<br/>Now coming to food , so nearby to neelam there is another place called neelkamal.<br/>And opposite to this place you will get janta ice cream so don't get confused with where to visit.<br/>You can absolutely go and enjoy yr sandwiches at this place .<br/>Both neelkamal nd neelam is nice place and making nice sandwiches<br/>

"Neelam Sandwich & Pizza" - The outlet which is from quite long time with their specialities in sandwiches. After long interval of time had its sandwiches.<br/><br/>So the sandwiches were parceled & i had Vegetable & Alu muttur.<br/><br/>Vegetable - It had fillings of tomatos , onions , green chutey , cucumber. And on top sev was there. The first piece i had i found weird taste. Dont know wether it had fault in cucumber or onion. But the 2nd piece was good as usual.<br/><br/>Alu Muttur - Not big fan of this sandwich thought to give it a try. I have been their regular customer since last 15+ years. Every time I go, I see a gathering of people waiting for their orders. The tastes are awesome and you will not find that tastes anywhere else. Particularly, Cheese Chilli Garlic Grill, Alu Matar, Cold Choco etc. tastes ultimate.... Full marks for the quality, quantity and hygiene. Yes, rates are little on higher side. But reasonable when compared with the taste. Must visit once, those who had not and will start loving it. Jo dikhta hai - vo bikhta hai.....

Have been to  Neelam's quite a few times over the years. Have always liked the consistency of their green chatni and fresh bread. <br/><br/>Simply love eating the Veg delight grill a mixture of cucumber, curd, cheese generously added on the bread. Would definitely recommend it for a light snack when the mood hits you.

Now this is just a small tiny sandwich shop on the gurukul road. A person who doesn't knows where exactly this shop is will find it difficult to find. I live nearby and come in this area frequently.Once a while when i was here i spotted a crowd eating sandwiches from this place called neelam sandwiches. I was hungry and thus decided to give those sandwiches a try. As i said this is a small little shop and so ambiance is not a matter of fact. They have a few tables in the outdoors. The menu seems quite common like any other sandwich shop having a few sandwiches, pizzas and bhel. I decided to have the regular vegetable sandwich and bhel. I stood there to see how did they make it. The place where they made the sandwiches was very neat and clean. This is completely hygienic. The vegetables used were freshly cut. The butter was in generous amount. They used tomatoes, onions, cucumber and beetroot. The green pudina chutney was also tasty. They garnished it with a lot of tomato ketchup and sev. Next time you visit here ask them to use less or no ketchup because it ruins the taste of sandwich. They charged me 20 bucks which is very normal. Bhel however was nice . It didn't had any X factor in it. It was normal like any other place but it was of 40 bucks which is high for a plate of bhel. I even took aloo-mutter as take away. They had packed it nicely. The generous amount of filling and fresh bread used unlike most other sandwich shop made a mark. Worth eating when you are on a day out in this area.
