Review Sheeba Delicious - Ahmedabad

kiren patel
Best chicken tika I have ever had apart from a place in Cardiff, not so fussed on the Curry, also had the paneer malai tikka, it was good too, large variety on the menu, I will always come back when I am in ahmedabad, really like that s place. Also very clean and ac restaurant.
Raj Dadhichi
Great place for non vegetarian food especially if you are craving for North Indian taste. Have been to this place and ordered too and the quality is consistent.
Tuli Banerjee
As they say old is gold. This place still shines brightest among the old and classic non veg restaurants in Ahmedabad
Srikanth Gudla
Decent restaurant for Non veg delicacies. Ordered masala Papad, Veg Manchow soup, Chicken hot and sour soup, Veg fried rice, Butter Naan and Chicken Tawa. Just that the fried rice was on spicier side. Remaining items were tasty. Will visit again for sure.
Ashiq Mustafa
I m From kashmir .Very tasty and delicious food diffenitly recommend to people vegetarian and non veg.
Sahithya
Chicken Tikka was amazing Biriyani is not good here. Service is quick Ambience is not so good

As Foody or Chef can say -I Found Best Veg and Nonveg Punjabi or North Indian Food in Ahmedabad.
Sourav Choudhary
If you're looking for a good non veg restaurant then you can try it here. The food is delicious. The service is a bit on the slower side and there is nothing to write home about the ambience either.
Ahmedabad Foodzilla
I give 5 because for me everything is fine there. Food was yummy and good quantity. A bit take time to serve but finally get good food. At good rates.
Varma Ganaraju
Taste food and cordial staff. Ambience should be improved.
Skipper
Good food, good service. Same taste as it used to be years ago. Update: They have reduced the quantity, nearly to half. They serve a small bowl, which is too small for the price charged.
Amos M Jacob
The place is one among the good restaurants in town, with both vegetarian and non-veg options. The ambience of the restaurant in kinda good. Not a place for friends treat or hanging out, it's good for families as well as couples. The service is also very nice, it requires special appreciation.
Ashish Nanda
Tandoori Chicken is amazing and a must try. Other chicken dishes also were amazing. Veg options are good too but if you eat non veg then chicken is the better bet. Ambience is that of comfortable family restaurant. Staff is very nice and they let you know if service time will be too long. Desserts are not available at the restaurant which is another important thing to note.
sudeep chhetri
Very good ambience, Getting nonveg is rare in Ahmedabad. Nice and we'll behaved staff. Good Quality and nice quantity of food. I had Non veg , it was good. There were lots of veg option also, but everyone is having nonveg only šŸ˜‚. Restaurant is in my list, there are lots of things to try from fish to mutton, Punjabi menu , Chinese menu
Raziel Smart
I ordered egg frankie but there was everything (peas carrots, tomatoes etc.) except egg.
Parag Nayak
Please see the quantity & taste factor to the price. I felt too much as I compare this to a basic from Eastern or Central India.
Jude
Amazing staff... Great food. Yum Mutton bhuna and butter chicken.. veg food is also very tasty
Impracticalfoodies
I ordered Non-Veg Lunch pack. And I got it all messed up. I mean what's wrong may be the delivery boy delivered it well. But the main thing which was wrong here was packaging, as it is a thali it Should have a plastic packing which locks individual columns as many other outlets gives . But here with so many columns of food , the dish was only covered with a single FOIL. It's but obvious if you are using a single piece of foil then that food Will split around. I really didn't enjoyed the food, I had visited many a times at Sheeba and had there food I loved it so this time I planned to get it delivered. But that was a very bad idea.<br/>Some chicken pieces were in daal , veg subzi was in pickle I didn't know what I was eating.<br/><br/>So my suggestion to you guys is improve your packaging or else you will get spam with many same bad reviews.
Parth Oza
Pathetic service. Ordered roti and sabji. They delivered only sabji and when called to check with them, they denied saying kitchen closed. If whole order is not able to be processed then they should update before hand.
Vishal Chandrapal
Awesome restaurant with good ambiance and good service. Food was also good nd the better thing is that you will get veg or non veg both on the same restaurant and restaurant staff is also very polite and trained
Foodie_Nahar
today my birth day lunch party at sheeba food is also good and place is goodĀ  chikeen tikka goodĀ This is one of our favorite places. I love the gravy of paneer tikka masala. Also the frankies are tasty and filling. Dal fry could be a little better.
Amarjit Laishramcha
Very professional and good well comešŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘. Food is as the name suggests very delicious. You will get good non veg items here. There are fish items also.

The absolute worst food I've ever had. (And overpriced)<br/><br/>To the person reading this, it's better to starve yourself to death than eat from this place. Seriously.
CA Khubyar Sutaria
I have been to this Hotel twice or thrice. As reagrds the food ia concerned it is very good but the staff i. e. Waitors there are very disrepectful and talk in a rude manner. Request the hotel management to look into the matter otherwise the reputation of the hotel is certainly at stake. Because of this experience i have given 1 rating.
Konain ZainAli
There was insect in buttermilk and when i asked them to check they checked and took the glass immediately so i couldnt click a picture it was worst experience
Nigam Patro
A nice restaurant in budget price. Enjoyed having dinner there. If your friends love non-veg then you can have veg and non-veg there. It is both veg and non-veg friendly.
Romi
Chicken tikka, egg biriyani and tawa chicken are the best.. The best part is their consistent taste, I have visited like 10times in last 3months but taste never changed, its always the best. The problem which I found that when u order chinese and ask for soya sauce or chilly sauce, they will give u whole bottle of it with hole in its cap, which seems to be old n covered with dust. Last week they have increased price by 20-50 in every dish which is disappointing because now it seems costlier. Frequency of visiting this place will decrease but yes occasionally I will still visit.
Juned Sumra
I worked for a company and this place was near from there. My manager who loves chicken took me this place and yes it is the one of the best place to have chicken in the area. The ambience is not that great but still looks good and spacious. The service is also good.<br/><br/>We tried many chicken starters like chicken tikka, chicken jafrani, chicken lollipop. We also tried there pineapple macaroni.<br/><br/>In short, if youvare looking for a nice place to have non-veg in satellite area you should give this place a try.
Jainish
This is one of our favorite places. I love the gravy of paneer tikka masala. Also the frankies are tasty and filling. Dal fry could be a little better.

Finally got a chance to visit the restaurant after 10 years..back in the old days when it was on cg road it was THE only place which had good nonveg food..went there with friends ordered fish tikka ,chiken tandoori ,and chiken afghani for appetizers ,althoughĀ  the starters were delicious the chiken afghani's stuffing could've been better. For the main courseĀ  we had chicken sagwala whichĀ  was good but quantity seemed less same with chicken rarah and murg musslam was very salty..not exactly like the old sheeba but it is worth going there ..place is very small so it can get pretty noisy..staff couldve been more courteous .Though i always make it a point to tip the waiters it was a bit shocking that the owner or the manager actually told me to leave some tip for the waiters.will visit again though
Sudhir Shimpi
Ekdam ghatiya hotel... Service worst.. We orderd tangdi kabab... Bt d tangdi ws full with blood.. We wr nt abl to evn see tht.... Nd thy forced us to order tikka instead replace d order... We canceled d order nd evn thy dnt hv regret.. Thy wr ok... Rude staff, false service , nd chikn ws poisonous... Cant gv evn 1 star.. Hate it
Dhaval Upadhyaya
Pathetic, the good was good indeed though.... but the service wasnt good... i dont know the exact time when we reached at the restaurant. we ordered soup and main course... later we tried to order some more but they denied to provide the food except plain rice and roti.. they should have asked us about closing time earlier but they didn't. so in the end we asked for manager (he never came though) but they did make one chicken fried rice after arguing much about closing time..<br/>so i think.... not the best or good with service., 10/10 for food !!!<br/><br/>Thanks for Reading !

Best tandoori chicken in AHMEDABAD. Delicious butter chicken with roomali roti. Prawns fried rice awesome.<br/><br/>favourite NON veg restaurant since 1985
Shalvi Mehta
Love it for long now. Have been a frequent customer. Love the chicken malai tikka and chicken rara here. The taste never changes in all these years.
NIli Best
Worth your every penny <br/>Yummy food and courteous staff<br/>Yum yum good <br/>Non veg super awesome <br/>Khoya kaju is yummilicious<br/>Chicken lollipops are crispy and just the right spice

Sheeba is an old restaurant but having very authentic tastes of dishes, I will recommend for non veg lovers and even veg foodies to try its recipes. Daal Maakni is lovely !!

I have been here more than half a dozen times over the last 6 months. Their Prawn Fried rice is a favorite. Another must-have is their Butter Chicken with Rumali roti.<br/>Their cozy brown interiors with just the right amount of lighting will remind you of 90s style decor adopted by booming family restaurants back then. For some reason, the ambience only adds to the seriousness of digging into the delicious food that they serve!<br/>The staff is well behaved and polite. Deducting a point only because the sweet cumin candy they offer after billing ruins the experience a bit.
Fudaddix
One of oldest restaurant with new address...<br/>must try their roomali roti., butter chicken, tandoori chicken and chicken chilly dry..<br/>I swear u will not find tis taste anywhere..perfect taste and spice ..ambience not up to mark..little suffocating..
Haridas Menon
One of the oldest non veg restaurants in the area with good starters and gravy dishes. The looks of the dishes may not be very colourful but the taste dwells well within those dishes. The service is similar to that if a typical public sector bank. :) (Take your guess what it meant, old timers will be well received, though). Mediocre prices and ambience but a thumbs up for taste and hence the rating.
Atul Kushwaha
One of the best places for non veg food in Ahmedabad. Even veg dishes are delicious, spicy and warrant a second visit. Service is good and prompt.
Pallav Mishra
Do you really wish to enjoy here? Try Roopali roti, Chicken naan and Butter chicken. Dude! the butter chicken is just awesome and one of the place to eat heavenly, awesome butter chicken is Sheeba. <br/><br/>

This place will be close to my heart as this was one of the few good joints serving delectable non veg out of cg road in 2004-2007. We were regular customers here so we were disappointed when the place shut. But thank goodness Sheeba is back! If someone had blindfolded me and given me the tandoori chicken from this place I could guess correctly it's source . Do try the joint for great tandoori chicken and other dishes out here. I swear by this place for reliable quality and quantity.
CB
Good non veg option in Ahmedabad - cozy ambience and a small place. Pros-Fresh delicious food, good portion size, reasonably priced<br/>Cons-Food colour in tandoori items, Chinese items are not their forte<br/>Do try for a hearty Indian non veg meal but not a fine dine option as itā€™s not placed anyways in that segment
Ultrafoodie
Came here on basis of good Zomato reviews...but disappointed.....food is just very average here.......donā€™t feel like saying more.......the egg curry was not spicy.....very taste less....and the biryani was more like khichadi disappointing
Meet Tandel
Food is great & taste is delicious.must try tandoori chicken & butter chicken.but the waiter service is so bad.they do not give u dish or onion even if u ask & they told u to give tip more than 100 on your face.when i not give it they told me i never see man like u & many things.worst waiter serive i have ever havešŸ˜”šŸ˜”šŸ˜”šŸ˜”šŸ˜”šŸ˜”šŸ˜”šŸ˜”.

A good Resturant for Non-veg. Resturant is not big but is good for home delivery. Chicken lollipop , Tandori chicken, fried rice are must haves
Srishti Tyagi
Decent non veg, considering the extremely few options in Ahmedabad. Pathetic vegetarian food. And non courteous staff. They don't accept their mistakes.
Abhishek Banerjee
I have been to this restaurant when there outlet was at cg road. This one also provide fantastic food at very normal rates. Food served here is delicious and very fresh. Ambience is also good. Not a big place but overall a six to seven people can eat here comfortably. I would given five out five but only thing that is not proper is service time. They took a very much time to serve main course. Otherwise it's a very good place for non veg lovers in town.
Hitesh Jani
Awesome food is all I can say and I am going To repeat my order soon and also try some new dishes..... Keep it up guys........... ...................
Hinaly Bhasin
So i have been here several times & this place has to be my non veg craving place as it lies just near my home, i could go up there anytime i want! They have variety of starters and variety of dishes, but i have an aww for the tandoori chicken, chicken lolipop, chicken chilly and several other items! When it comes to main course, sometimes they have the best sabzi and sometimes they cooked not upto the mark! <br/>Well, ambience is good, small knitted place it is, service is also good, so overall it is good!
Nandan Dattani
this place is a legendary place known for its nonveg food.. try anything in nonveg here its awesome. best picks are butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, chicken 65, chicken spring rolls, tandoori platter, frankies are also very good and mutton seekh kabab pulao is also a unique dish to try here. staff is very friendly and service is also very good. very value for money place too.

Went with my cousin to this place.. as we both were craving for yum chicken and searching for the place which is pocket friendly. Chicken tandoori was delicious i wanted more šŸ˜. There Butter Chicken is awesome as well.. do visit. Nice and calm ambience. For chicken lover A+
Parth Banker
The quality of meat and chicken is amazing. The service standard is too good. Ambience of diner is like a European cafe. A must visit place. Most recommended for non veg lovers.
Kedar Upadhyay
As namedā€‹ food is always delicious. Service is good and ambiance compliment the food though we find this restaurant small compared to it's popularity. A must try restaurant for non-veg food lovers.
Pruthvi S Patel
My favourite place to eat non veg food. I like its ghee roast for starter and all shabji s good. And best thing is it's bread mean rumali roti. Mouth watering and environment is quite and deem light.
Aiswarya Menon
One day after work, I and my friends went to sheeba because office had drained us of energy and we were ravenous. <br/>Lip smacking food - we ordered rumali roti, chicked tandoori, chilly paneer, baked macroni with pineapple(yum yum), and one more paneer gravy - I don't remember the name now. <br/>The staff there is courteous and provide quick service. Glad my friends took me there :)<br/>P.S in ahmedabad, only few places make chilly paneer properly. Sheeba tops the list.

I Show This Restra In Non Veg Platter Of Zomato.. I Decided To Visit This Restra,<br/><br/>Well I Ordered Hariyalai Chicken, Thuma Up soft Drinks & Chicken Shezvan Friend Rice..!!<br/><br/>Hariyali Chicken Is Good Tastewise But Chicken Is Not Soft And Chicken Shezvan Friend Rice Is Good..<br/><br/>Average Ambience And Good Servie <br/><br/>Out Of 5<br/><br/>Food. 3.0<br/>Taste. 2.0<br/>Quantity. 2.0<br/>Clening. 2.5<br/><br/>Over All I Will Give 2.5 āļøOut Of 5 āļø

We go there every week it's the best place for nonvegetarian food try out butter chicken, tandoori, chicken tikka masala, even their Chinese is excellent. Staff is Also very friendly and co-operative. Value for money place with excellent food

The roti I had ordered was half cooked, I could see the dough from it. I have heard so much about the food that's why I had gone but disappointed.
Kashvi Chhatrapati
I've never tasted anything except chicken roll here. Still, the service is amazing. They are speedy. I used to come here a lot during my lunch time as my school is exactly on the opposite side. Ambience is ok but the taste is brilliant. Chicken is perfectly cooked. Do not need anything better from any other restaurant.
Jyotsna Vaghora
Bad restaurant and very bad experience in customer service. Restaurants opening hours are 12 Noon to 3:30 PM, And at 3pm they are saying the time is over in a disrespectful tone. Ā waiter stays near to us and says finish the lunch fast. Within half an hour, we had to leave the restaurant. If they are not able to serve till 3.30 then they have to close the restaurant at 3 so that no one go to there at 3pm.<br/>.
Lionel
This restaurant is one of the oldest in the city, and along with it they have the same staff since the past two decades, they've literally grown up here. The in the early years i heard were good at this place, the food was really nice, also because this was one of the very few restaurants at that time serving non vegetarian for the meat eaters in the city.<br/>Now the food isn't great, its decent. Ambience and service is ok.<br/>We ordered a butter chicken and rumali roti, both average.
Neal S Patel
Awesome food. Love this place from way back when it used to be on C G Road. They have moved to satellite now, but the taste of the food has no change what-so-ever. Love the non-vegetarian options available. The food here has never disappointed me. If you love North-Indian food, this is the place to be.
Pooja
Oho, why didn't I write a review till now ? <br/>Awesome place to have fish, rice and chicken. Forget about the ambience and stuff. Go there for quality and taste, enjoy it. Make a big burrrpppp and walk out with a smile. <br/><br/>Enjoy !
Nishval Patel
Great food ! Excellent service ! Very friendly staff ! The non veg is the speciality, very well prepared ! One of the best ones in the town !
Aatish Bhachech
Have been here a few times. Have tried chicken lollipop, tandoori chicken, butter chicken till now and the taste is good. Service as well as ambience both are good.
Snehal Biswas
Food: 4.5/5<br/>Ambience: 4/5<br/>Service: 4/5<br/>Pricing: 3.5/5<br/><br/>The place is well worth the time and money spent. The food never seems to disappoint. The most recent meal, that of chicken manchow soup, tandoori roti and Chicken Sheeba, was an experience in itself. True, this was the first time I had chicken in a long time, no thanks to the bird flu scare, but Sheeba ensured that I did not regret it.
Umang Bilaney
A very decent place with a good ambiance (atleast better than the restaurant you'll find in Ahmedabad). Perfect Food. Good Service. Satisfactionā¤ļø had a Chicken Manchow soup & 2 other chicken dishes with perfectly made rumali roti. Bit expensive for the quantity but worth the tickle they give to the buds!
Yash Bagra
Ordered butter chicken for myself at home. It was the best i had in ahmedabad. I am not a fan of gravy style chicken but it was too delicious that changed my perception towards gravies too. Properly cooked, fast service are key here.<br/>Dont depend on the menu which is posted here on zomato. Sheebas prices are changed from the time of diwali.

Update - this place still rocks! Amazing Punjabi and Chinese food. Can't ever go wrong ordering from here!<br/><br/>-----------<br/><br/>The classic, old is gold Sheeba Delicious!<br/><br/>There's something about this place that just makes it feel like home now. The ambiance is not the best, but the staff which have been ever preset there - a rare feat these days, make sure your food experience is super. A couple of visits and these will be familiar faces to you as well.<br/><br/>The food here is crazy. It is one of my go to restaurants for good non vegetarian food. Indian and Chinese is on the menu here and both are equally good. The quality has been maintained for years now and you can see these guys take pride in what they serve. I love the butter chicken here paired with roomali rotis - it's fantastic. Even the grilled starters are really yummy.<br/><br/>You can not talk about Sheeba and not mention their amazing Frankie's. They just knock every other Frankie in Ahmedabad out the ball park. They are so so so good!<br/><br/>This place is a must try and I'm sure anything you order here will be good!
Shreyansh Kejriwal
While driving this place can easily skip your sight. Amongst the very few medium range non veg serving restaurants in Ahmedabad satellite area. Trained and experienced staff in front as well as in the kitchen. Food quality and taste, both excellent. Tum by a Punjabi gentleman, you can immediately feel the effect when you taste their dals and various rotis. Stuffed Kulchha can be a negative exception to the list of Awesome rotis and breads. Worth a try when looking to eat out on a regular day.
Foram
This is a review of the experience some years ago. Ordered paneer tikka masala and it was so bad we left midway through the dinner and ate a street frankie instead.
Tulika Saha
I have always loved Sheeba's Punjabi food as a true blue Amdavadi. But the fact that Sheeba delicious maintains those standards , is great. Their tandoori chicken is to die for! Good going Sheeba!!
Nirav Patel
The owner must be confident and he named the place pretty accurately, it is delicious. Started off with a chicken cheese frankie. It had layered egg on the base with juicy chicken chunks and hint of spice along with cheese, which is ideal. Extra veggies only worsen it. The main course had to be special so I ordered today's special which was chicken zafrani along with nan. The softness of the nan took my attention right away. But the thick medium spiced gravy boneless dish soothened my chicken craving taste buds. Very good food and experience.
Syed Adnan
When I figured out there was some good Butter Chicken available some where, the first thing I did is look for this place.....The Non veg is lip smacking. .The quantity and quality and taste of foods just perfect for me...<br/>.
Riddhi Modi
It is a small pretty place. I went with a friend to especially have butter chicken as my friend said they have amazing food. Well i agree but i expected more. We had chicken tikka first which was tasty but if it could b more spicy then it would have tasted more delicious. Then roti and butter chicken was yummy.
Amit Gajjar
This place is very far from my office but never visited, recently visited with office friends when we leave from office very late. Good crowd on late time in routine day also much people waiting for parcel as well. <br/>Food: 3.5<br/>Ambiance: 3<br/>Service: 3.5<br/>Prices: 4<br/>Give this place to average rating.
Khyati Bhasin
All time favourite place of me and my family. The food quality and the staff has remained the same since years which makes you feel great to revisit. <br/>This is the only restaurant where I don't have a single dish which is my favourite as each and every dish is extremely delicious. <br/>A must go place for having an amazing experience with a cozy environment and extremely delicious food.
Pallavi Gupta
Flavours of tandoor are great temptation. Non veg dishes are good in taste. I would recommend a tangri kabab. Main course can be avoided incase you are punjabi by nature.
Kanchan Shewaramani
Pocket friendly and best place for nonveg punjabi in Ahmedabad. The nonveg platter is so so amazing. Chicken Nawabi with Rumali roti one to crave for šŸ’•šŸ˜
Akash Vazirani
Mutton is good. Staff is ok. Service is medium. Nice place for a quite meal with office colleagues or family. Like the setup of the restaurant
Nishil Patel
Have loved it... <br/>Still love it... <br/>And will forever love it !!!<br/>A must try for all non - vegetarian foodies. <br/>The perfect place to be... Any day of the week.
Nimish Mittal
Being a newcomer in gujarat finding it difficult to have a good non-veg restaurant. Sheeba is 1 place that is fulfilling my needs of non-veg and it is pretty good at its task. I wony say that the food is awesome but if you have less options thn it is a good.<br/>Tandoori chkn is good, if you want thn they will serve all the leg pieces in a serving of tandoori chicken.
Snehashish Sen
A place which I always crave for having Chicken Tandoori and Chicken Szechwan Fried Rice or Noodles.<br/><br/>A perfect place for true Non Vegetarian lovers.<br/><br/>Go and Have A Blast.<br/><br/>Best place for all those Non-Veg lovers.
Sandip Vazirani
Craving for good non veg food in Ahmedabad? This one's quite a decent option. Their tandoori non veg platter was really good. Chicken fried rice, paneer tikka, dal and rice was what we ordered apart from it. Everything had a bit more oil then it should've. Decently priced and tasty options make it a nice place to choose.
Hemant Gagnani
Simply rates with the quality perfect combo ambiance, food, service always good never disappointed in any manner overall great food descent place
Ahmedabad Foodie
We always visit this place and never has it been a disappointment.. Always good food and we come out of this place as happy babies. Their soups are good and the rotis are really soft. Try the chicken roast.
The Chef From India
I love this place and the reasons are many.<br/>1. Awesome ambiance (the wooden decor on the walls are just wonderful)<br/>2. Great non vegetarian food (lip smacking to be precise)<br/>3. Lovely staff and great service<br/>4. Moderately priced<br/>5. The go - to restaurant, be it with friends or family<br/>6. Terrific starters<br/>7. Their non veg! I know I have mentioned this earlier, but the food is so delicious that it deserves a 2nd mention! :)<br/>Just go there already!<br/>P.s. vegetarians you too would love their punjabi starters and main course. :)
Urjit Jhaveri
Excellent non-vegetarian food, consistently good service! If only they would ensure that the restaurant smells nice, I would have the food there instead of doing take aways :( It is slightly dim as well but thatĀ isn't as big a concern compared to the odour that lingers inside the small sized seating area. I remember their restaurant on CG Road (this was well over a decade ago) the interiors were quite classy (for those days)Ā with an old world charm minus the foul smell, but the only constant is the amazing quality of food. Listing some of my personal favourites from this place here: Burnt ginger chicken soup,Ā Jahangiri Shorba, Tandoori chicken, chicken lollipop, chicken malai tikka, Tawa chicken & butter chicken, chicken dahi wala, mutton bhuna, Fish Amritsari.Wonder why the restaurant doesn't feature in Zomato's Meat Cravings (for their wonderful food)Ā or Legendary Restaurants (for they are easily into atleast the second generation of customersĀ by now)Ā Collections!!
Aiswarya
We were craving for good non vegetarian food and this place was suggested by one of our friends. We came with dslr and stuff imagining it to be a hang out place but to our slight disappointment, found a small little restaurant instead. <br/>Seeing the menu, our good mood got restored! We ordered tandoori chicken, chicken shezhwan fried rice and lemonade. They were delicious. . Its ok if they call themselves "delicious" if they serve such amazing food. Taste buds got happy!
Saloni
This is the place you want to go when u have real taste of that " tandoori"<br/>Chicken , without food colouring . The place is little dark Coz of less lightening but food is amazing . Best among rolls is chicken roll . One must try . Main course is delicious , specially their Sheeba chicken. Good and friendly staff . When u had too much of tomato's chicken u can surely give ride to your taste bud here .
Amogh Kulkarni
The place is very good...They serve hell of a butter chicken....fast service and at reasonable rates..This was the first good non veg restaurant I found in Ahmedabad...
Rimjhim Roy
Sweet little place tucked in a corner, good for a quick meal when you are really hungry but doesn't do better than that. We had their chicken dishes which were okayish, on the good side. Their tandoori dishes are good. The staff are really courteous so extra points for that
Abhijeet Mishra
Had I not visited the place the second time I would have given it a higher rating. The first time everything we tried was delicious. The chicken tandoori(perfectly cooked), Murg musallam(Delicious) and mushroom and potato tikka(great).<br/>The next time I recommended this place to my colleagues and it turned out to be too bad... Firstly the hygiene factor really put us off...All the waiters are senior citizens hence dont expect that agility in waiters as we are habituated to.<br/>Chicken soup was tasteless, Chicken rara and butter chicken was too oily and high on salt..Ā <br/>The only good thing were the starters chicken tandoori and mutton sikh kabab...
Juie
Now, i had been to sheeba a very long time back when it was on cg road. And frequently too. The nostalgic memories and the excellent taste associated with the restaurant is why we opted to go there after a long time. The food was really good. We had veg spring rolls as starters, chhas, chicken patiala and rotis for main course. All of it was good... And oh yeah the pulao; tasted like Chinese fried rice. But why I give this place a 3.5 rating is because the ambiance is truly shitty. The restaurant and the waiters seems to have passed from father to son and I guarantee that if you are a first time visitor you will enter and turn right back out to have a better experience. Waiters that have no life, dim and dark lighting, stained table cloth and venetian blinds; this really will make you bored. You would be eager to finish your meal and move off quickly. The ambiance overall puts you in a dull mood. The owner needs to rev up on the ambiance else the place is all set to go to shambles soon. I have no idea how long the owner plans to go ahead with only good food as its usp. Customers look for a better overall experience. Its time they learned it.
Aditya Sen
Sheeba! have been going to this place since I was a kid. On shutting down of the initial operations near CG road and its recent revival, I happen to be a frequent visitor to this restaurant. The standard menu over the past few years has been the same with no additions or modifications. I highly recommend trying out the menu in the following order:<br/>1) Jehangiri Shorba- A traditional soup with meatballs and it tastes heavenly, probably one of the best Indian soup ever tasted.<br/>2)Mixed Non veg Platter Ā and Roomali Roti- The Serving of the platter is substantial and can not be finished single handedly. (Best for a group order for starters)<br/>3) Butter Chicken/Chicken Kadhai with Roomali Roti again- If still hungry and in a group, the best combination of foods for the main course.<br/>4) Dal Tadka and Jeera Rice- If there is a remaining appetite for rice-cravings, this will settle towards the end and is nothing out of the box but, amazing.<br/><br/>With the above menu, in Ā a group of 4, the bill will not exceed 300 per head and its completely worth it. The staff is aged and hospitable and if you are a regular, they will dictate your order to you for confirmation and ensure it is delivered as per your specification (eg. No fish in the mix platter).<br/><br/>I would highly recommend this place for non veg lovers and would also insist on trying the "Non-Veg" Wrap for those who wish to have a quick bite.Ā <br/><br/>The only challenge is the hygiene parameter of this place. Its not that bad at all but, its not a fancy restaurant.Ā <br/>Apart from this, one dish I would like to highlight for avoidance in order of taste is a version of the Biryani. It is fried and extremely oily (its a personal choice). But, its too small a reason not to go to such an amazing place. :) :)

One of the oldest restaurants in Ahmedabad that has been serving delicious non veg food. Have been visiting this place since childhood, earlier at their cg road branch and now this one. I go here specially for their chicken items. Though all other items are good too. Fast and neat services and delicious food in short. A must visit for non veg lovers.

Simply a small place beside Star Bazar where you get non - vegetarian dishes. The only place in that particular area. Nothing fancy. Food is okay. Nothing out of the world. The range of Chinese food is very limited. The taste of Chinese sucks. Indian is okay. Service needs to be improved so does the sense of hygiene when they're charging like a proper eatery!

refused for home delivery saying person will not be able to find the place. My place is within 2Km from the restaurant...........<br/> <br/>

I think the food was quite good for a change. Ā Ordered a home delivery that reached really fast - and tasted pretty good overall. Ā Dal Tadka was too oily though. Ā The Butter Chicken was good - not sure if this is the old Sheeba Restaurant that was on CG Road, which is how we thought of ordering from here. Ā We used to order Butter Chicken and Tandoori Chicken from them many years ago. Ā This Butter Chicken is almost like that, among the better Butter Chickens in the city. Ā The Sheeba Delicious mixed veg, the egg curry were also good. Ā In all a good take away experience for us.

Love their chicken and mutton dishes. My personal favourite is the Mutton Biriyani and the Rogan Josh. It might feel slightly costly, but it is much cheaper than most non-veg places in Ahmedabad. The service maybe a tad slow sometimes, but staff are very polite and courteous.

Small restaurent in a basement but nice comfortable sitting. Quality is good. The owners are Punjabi so expect the food to be a bit spicy. Chicken biryani and tawa chicken masala is a must try.

A few years back it happened to be one of those rare non veg restaurants in the city. Place worth going, it won't disappoint you. Go there for Tandoori, Butter Chicken, kabab and fish too!!I also Jahangiri Shorbo soup, you can try that as well.

When I figured out there there was some good butter chicken available somewhere, the first thing I did is look for this place immediately. I looked up Sheeba and then saw they also deliver food at home. I called up that day and ever since I have been a regular. All their non-veg items on the menu are too good! I haven't tried any veg except the Hakka noodles and that's good too. Sheeba is my chicken resort and thee best part is they deliver in 30 minutes which is a decent time I can wait before hogging into my food!

I am a total die hard fan of sheeba. Everyone knows me and my father here. The nonveg is lip smacking. Besides indian, the chinese is also worth appreciating. The quality and taste of its food makes up for everything it might lack in. The frankies both veg and non veg r just awesome

Donā€™t expect classy service, cutlery or ambience, itā€™s a plain basic simple restaurant where 90% of the staff is a fatherly figure uncleā€™s wearing a bow-tie serving delicious non-veg food.Ā <br/><br/>Small restaurant but comfortable dining, one can enjoy unless itā€™s too noisy. <br/><br/>Itā€™s a no-go place for vegetarians and must-go for non-vegetarians. Its only and best USP is its non-veg food. Let me elaborate why, other restaurants prepare same gravy for veg/non-veg food. Difference is vegetables/paneer/chicken as per your order is added in that gravy. But at Sheeba they prepare different gravy for non-veg food with all the ā€˜khada masalasā€™ which are suppose to be added to get the required flavor. <br/><br/>Ghee roast chicken, Fish Amritsari, Chicken RARA are my favorite dishes. <br/><br/>Sheeba is among the few restaurants who serve pink colored vinegar onions and Rumali roti which is like ā€˜sone pe suhagaā€™ when having non-veg food.<br/><br/>I often visit Sheeba delicious with my brother who has named them ā€˜Simply deliciousā€™ for its simple ambience, simple food and simple but quick service.

Not the best ambience to sit in, a little dark for my preference. But the butter chicken here is to die for! Another favourite is the afghani kebab - chicken drumstick stuffed with minced lamb!

The food is not bad but the staffs are wierd. They are almost begging for tips everytime you're about to pay the bill.Ā <br/><br/>I have paid tips in other restaurants out of my own. It really depends on how the staff make you feel. Do they greet you, did they change something that was not tasting up to the mark? If staffsĀ are sensible and have a little humour, IĀ believeĀ it goes a long way sealingĀ a relationship as restaurants should offer a very PERSONAL experience in my opinion. However, sheeba is on the other side of that altogether.Ā <br/><br/>One of the staffs once offered me gravy-lollypop but the second time when I went to have it, they said I can only get it dry. No gravy with lollypop. I tried telling the guy that it was served last time, he won't simply listen and kind of dictated his terms on me.Ā <br/><br/>All I wanted to have was some form of Chinese gravy, so I ordered fish chilly this time. Again, he suggested that I better take fish curry as it will also have some gravy. I was double tired due to office and gym and I really wanted to have some food. Instead, out of annoyance I walked out.<br/><br/>Suggestion to the owner- Please look into staff behaviour and understand customers. You are not selling steel or cement. Selling something that makes people happy and fulfilled, such as food needs a lot more than just cooking decent food.

Good old place to eat non veg indian cuisine. Small place with a small group of workers providing arguably the best chicken tandoori in town. <br/>This place is like weekend destination for us mains are very good and authentic (especially the spicy chicken rara which is my personal favourite)

Not a non veg fan, but visited the resto at the suggestion of a friend and thank him coz the veg food esp frankies were the best till date i had, indeed a small, neat & worthy resto i would say !!

An average non veg food at affordable price. Chicken Biryani is not bad, butter chicken is best here. Veg food I have not tried. Ambiance is good. At least a single visit is recommended.
