I had a visit today at Patel Ice cream SP STADIUM.<br/>After Eating ice cream, while i gone for payment they told me we do not have any online platform to accept money.<br/><br/>Unfortunately i didnt have any money nd they dont have any online platform to accept money.<br/><br/>Its a very old shop and how anyone can imagine that PATEL ICE CREAM dont have such medium.<br/><br/>Now main concern, I had discussed with staff that give me any paytm number or gice me any option to swipe credit or debit card but they dont have this facility too.<br/><br/>They told me keep your phone here nd withdraw the money from ATM nd submit on our billing counter.<br/><br/>Is it the way to talk with customer?<br/><br/>1. You don't have updated system in your pathetic shop so it's not customers fault.<br/>2. You are not accepting money through paytm, google pay, card its not customers fault.<br/>3. I am actually a very old patron of this place going their since I was a child. With change of times they have increased their flavours and decors as well but unfortunately their management and more importantly the staff's attitude just has not changed. I was there today to collect a take away and thus approched the first counter from where I was asked to enquire quite rudely to the second counter, the second counter guy asked me to have a seat and wait for a waiter. For about 50 odd clients there were just 2 waiters. I waited patiently for 15 odd minute but no waiter turned up. I again enquired at the second counter with no response and was asked to wait longer. With Guest waiting at home I just couldn't take it any more. I really wish they could upgrade their services go complement their amazing products.

Best ice cream in the entire world! I absolutely love their chikoo flavour. My only constant prolonged complaint is that they don’t pack in dry ice for long journeys via flight or car. Naturals does it and other bigger brand do it too. So taking one point off for this reason.

It's a clean huge icecream parlour at a good location and ample space to sit even during peak hours! Walked in after seeing the poster for the Honey Ginger icecream and that's what I ordered. The place feels value for money as the icecream scoops served are generous and reasonably priced. The honey ginger icecream flavour was delicious, with a subtle honey and stronger ginger flavour coming through and with just enough sweetness to make it delicious. I loved the fact that the icecream wasn't cloyingly sweet as seems to be the norm for most dessert places in Ahmedabad unfortunately. I will try to come back soon for the chocolate brownie flavour that has been recently introduced!

A small ice cream shop in Navrangpura. But it is actually pretty famous which led me to try it. Ordered Swiss Cake and Fresh Sitafal flavours. Both were too sweet for my taste but can't deny their deliciousness. Sitafal flavor came to me as a surprise and was yummy. On weekends at night time due to rush waiters don't respond to requests like water, after the payment is done. I for one had to request the cashier to arrange for a glass of water for which he advised to search for the waiter who had served me the icecream. So better remember the waiter who had served you !!

Rates are little high as they charge some 45-50 rupees per scoop but also quantity of scoop is sufficient as per rates they charge.. Will try other ice creams too in nearby time..

I have a really bad experience, waiters are dumb and they think that customer experience is nothing. They don't suggest what's good or bad. Worst thing is, we order 2 ice cream and now if I need another I have to find same waiter other waiters refuse to take orders.. I never ever visit this place, they only entertain the people coming in big cars as they expecting good tips only.

Stetting an example how a legacy can be destroyed....the Patel Ice cream has been a place with good quality ice cream. But the staff and counter fellows are Rude beyond imagination. On my visit today they ask me to have a seat for the order. No one responded in 15-20 minutes, later talked to the Counter person and he replied the counter is closed and ice cream has finished. Not even water or a scoop for the kids was served. Shame....

"Good basic ice cream flavours and value for money" Don't expect anything else from this place. Very basic partly open and covered area. Staff is basic, keeps following you to ensure you move on fast faster. Finish your bowl and move fastest possible :-) Rating is all for the ice creams and nothing else. Better to get it packed and enjoy at home. "They also sale in kgs, not in litres" :p

Went to this place yesterday. Cannot deny that they have kept reasonable prices for their ice creams and even the quantity of the scoop is good. But, the staff is pathetic. The staff of patel ice cream is the worst I have seen. They are rude and lack ethics. A friend of mine and I visited the place yesterday. It was a sunday, we asked for the menu card, the waiter got it for us. While we were going through the menu, the waiter snatched the menu from my friends hand to gave it to a bunch of other people who were there. Like who does that? We told him, "Dont you have manners" he reverted by saying, "I have to get orders from others." Cant patel ice creams afford more menu cards? Cant they preach simple ethics and manners to their staff. Totally shocked by the incident, we went to the counter, where a higher authority was seated, to complaint. We narrated the incident to him. He sent us to someone else to complaint, that someone else who sat on the other counter, apologized on behalf of the waiter, but didnt even ask about who the waiter was. He simply said 'sorry' Good ice creams wont sell for long if you have a mannerless, arrogant, rude staff. They would bring Patel Ice creams to ground, if they dont do anything about it. No ice cream is good enough to forego such kind of a behaviour. I wont ever go to patel ice cream. I would rather choose, havmor, vadilal, etc over it. Management/ Owner of the patel ice creams, If you are reading this, and value customer feedback, I had high regards for your shop, but you ruined it in a flash. If you value your customers, start being good to your customers, they are the reason you exist.

I am not faking it...ya it deserves 5/5 because of the texture of the icecream it offers which is unique and makes it far more better than other ice cream brands....the store is now renovated, looking really nice....<br/>And add on to it it offers us 500gm free BPK (badam pista kesar) icecream free on buying of 1kg of any of the ice creams.....this scheme they r running I guess evn before I was born...it has not changed its taste for so so so so long.....<br/>Means quality management is great...<br/>Very well mannered staff...<br/>It deserves 5/5 <br/>If u have nt tried jst go smtyms nd have a "chiku" or "BPK" icecream it's great

I've been here only for once on a weekend night a few days back for having some chilled desert experience in hot summer atmosphere to cool down my senses.<br/>I've seen a great rush for desserts every night of summer at this place; hence wanted to try the delicacies they served at least once.<br/>So, I visited this place & had a scoop of Panchratna flavoured Ice cream which was mouthwatering in looks but disappointed with my expectations because it's not so tempting in taste. Ice cream was not so creamy as i like. Taste was also not at par.<br/>I've given 3.5 rating for this place out of which only 2.5 is for ice cream & additional 1 is for the popularity & public rush for the desserts at this place.<br/>Recommend to visit once & have your opinion.

Full on for this place for Local ice cream. A creamy flavour melts in mouth once you think about Patel ice cream. All the flavours are awesome though chcolate & thandai have special place in heart. They must try more seasonal flavours too. Yet happy with flavours they offer and for parcel they offer 500 ice cream free on each 1kg. 😊

Ohh boy... they are serving since 1948... finally I had visited this place and let me tell you, this place beats all other ice cream brands, atleast in Ahmedabad for sure. It has easily replaced naturals, havmor, amul, vadilal, etc in my preferential list of ice cream eateries. Let me tell you how I discovered this place, whenever I came to Ahmedabad via Indigo flight, the crew always mentioned of visiting Patel Ice-cream in their final announcement. So here I was, when I saw this place, it reminded of Rustomjee ice cream in Churchgate, Mumbai. But it's quite different, they have nice sitting arrangement also. And the ice creams are mind boggling... I wont describe much abt the ice cream, let me just leave it for you to experience it. And yes, must try seasonal ice creams and for dry fruit lovers - panchratna.... im visiting them again today... if anyone wanna join, you are most welcome....

Scan the menu and you will find Kaju Draksh | Badam Pista | Raj Bhog so on so forth...<br/>Something like Vanillas and Strawberries of the world are yet not lucky enough to be on Patel Ice Creams Menu...<br/><br/>Reason - they use all natural Flavors...
