Visited this place yesterday, almost liked everything, BBQ Loaded Fries : Crispy and worth trying. Aloo Tikki Starter : Crispy and Fresh served with Onion and Lemon. Their Vegetable Masala Biryani & Strawberry Souffle is also recommended !

Great place, awsome ambience. It serves some really unique dishes which are mainly biryani, but their fries are a stand out too. The square pizza has its own different varieties too. The base is made of a puff which is really crispy. It serves both veg as well as non-veg.

Rating- 3.5 We visited Charcoal eats on the first day after its launch. A famous brand with more than 40 outlets in the country is known for its various types of biryanis. This place serves both veg and non veg. We tried 2 types of veg biryani which we felt were of good quantity as per the price. Veg Afghani (half portion)- This was quite dry. Also, we felt that salt was less in it. Veg Classic Hyderabadi (full portion) - This was supposed to be spicy but it was not spicy at all. Also, traditionally it is served green in color but here it was not the same case. We felt that there were less flavours in the biryani. We also tried the puff squared pizzas. The exotica pizza was really nice and so we ordered another portion as well. Still we would say that pizzas at other outlets serving puff pizzas are far more better given the price and quantity of it. We loved the fries over here. We loved tandoori fries which had perfect amount of sauce. The fries were crisp and not too oily. The best part? Desserts!!! Loved the chocolate mousse a lot. Salted caramel indeed had the flavour. Not a fan of strawberry flavour but still irrespective of that, didn’t like the strawberry dessert much. It lacked taste of strawberry. One tip before u try this- mix the dessert properly in the box before eating. As it is stored in freezer or fridge for a long time, we felt that the flavour of chocolate or salted caramel was just over the top of the ice cream. So mix it well before eating. We didn’t like the starters as they were very oily. We tried Veg Galouti kebab which was fried too much and dahi ke kabab which lacked dahi in it. Overall, we liked the ambience and seating arrangement of this place. Fries and desserts are a must try over here.

A tiny outlet on a busy road is kind of unaffected by the noise and the place smells pretty nice. We tried: BBQ Loaded Fries: must try! Nicely done fries loaded with bbq and mayo sauce. Aloo Tikki Pav: a fancy version of vadapav, they are more like sliders. Ask them to make it a bit more spicy. Peri Peri Veg Puff Pizza Square: with a puff pastry base, the flaky texture topped with peri peri sauce and more toppings. I feel it could have tasted a bit more spicier. Classic Hyderabadi Veg Biryani: a proper layered biryani, make sure to mix the rice well with the gravy and enjoy with curd. Salted Caramel Mousse: the star of the night! Splendid mousse I have had in a long time. Never miss this one. You van even just order online when you are craving for a sugar rush. Very comforting. Overall, value for money is also reasonable.

WOW!!! i just recently visited india and i just fall in love with the taste of the Great food they offer and perfect packaging. no spillage whatsoever. Paneer makhani biryani was the best. must try !! Can't wait to go back next year. wish they would open one in USA. don't take my words and just try once for yourself.

The best loaded fries in town. Tried tandoori fries which were amazing. Chicken galouti Pav Wow was too good as well. The pav was okay but the galouti inside was heavenly. Awadhi chicken biryani was too good. Highly recommend this place.

This outlet is situated at satellite,ahmedabad which is now growing into a food hub due to many offices there. The area is small. But can accomodate around 10 to 12 persons at a time. The interior is such designed that you may not feel congested. The food quality is amazing and the service is prompt.

Food quality is awesome. Service is prompt. Value for money. Their biryanis, puff pizza squares, rolls are just incredible. They also deliver. Absolutely recommended.

One of underrated places in Ahmedabad. The food was amazing. Try the puff pizza and masala cheese fries. The chai was to die for.

Everytime Wonderful experience I get at this place.. Foods are healthy and tasty too... Staff are very humble and mannerfull...Charcoal eats is my all time favorite place.

Charcoal eats is a delivery kitchen. They got many outlets all over India. They are known for their pavs, Amritsari chole rice bowl, butter chicken rice bowl. They even have non-veg options. They serve food nicely packed, hot and they use all fresh ingredients. Really nice place to enjoy some delicious food.

Food from charcoal eats is always great.I had amritsari chole,chicken rice bowl and their super amazing classic chicken and chicken tikka biryani.<br/>Classic chicken biryani which is succulent in taste and made with perfection .You can actually indulge into the secret species that they use in biryani which is supreme quality rice .<br/>‌chicken tikka biryani was very tasty .Pieces of chicken were really soft and the fragrance was just amazing.Totally loved it.

I ordered one aloo tikki pav - There was no sauce in it and taste of tikki was also very bad.

They serve pathetic food! Probably the worst I’ve ever received. The food was stale and I got food poisoning after eating it. Please guys don’t do this to people!

Hands down best service ever. So basically i ordered awadhi biryani and i was bit upset with it but after talking with the manager he really helped me out with it and gave me some points which was really a great job. Thank you so much for this.

Charcoal Eats Express serves the best North Indian food so rich in flavors, that just starts watering your mouth just by reading the menu.You can't go wrong with the Briyani and rolls in the restaurant and that too with affordable prices. Loved the vibes interiors were mesmerising . Crowd was also good.

This time I ordered from this outlet and the food I received was hot and very tasty. Non veg platter , Chicken tikka , Paneer Roll. Food was delivered on time and prices are reasonable.<br/>Food taste meter is 5 star<br/>Recommend by me.

I feel some cravings to eat good then i visited their small outlet which has good cute decor,<br/>There i had,<br/>Chilli garlic loaded fries and hara bhara kebab.<br/>I never had such good crisps kebab ever anywhere, they give a good presentation of it.<br/>Gping to visit there again.

The manager accepts orders even when items are unavailable. 15-20 minutes later, he calls through the vallet saying that the item is unavailable and no substitutions can be made by similar priced items. Ultimately leading to order cancellation. It has happened twice in a row and is really troublesome. Inspite of nice food offerings, the manager turns online order into a sour experience.

I have heard of Charcoal eats a lot so I ordered 2 different fries and Paneer Makhani Biryani<br/><br/>1. Simple Fries<br/>2. Tandoori Fries<br/><br/>The sauces on Tandoori Fries were great but Simple fries were just normal.<br/><br/>I have had Paneer Makhani Biryani and it was one of its best kind. The taste of the masala blends in it so well that you get tempted to eat the another spoon of it right before you have swallowed the first spoon. You actually start gulping the same.<br/><br/>Just one thing that it is non spicy which is why not a best option for spicy lovers. I've my favourite places and Charcoal have made its place in the list.<br/><br/>Kudos to you guys. Looking forward for the same level of experience in future orders.

Recently tried the DAL makhani rice bowl from Charcoal Eats. I loved the taste and packaging. the gulab jamun was yummy.

Okay! Here I'm with my review.. I'm a foodie n now decided to visit charcoal eats... Umm before a month I visited it.. The food is super delicious and they serve wide range of biryani with succulent meat ....i even ordered galauti kebab (chicken) chicken Tikka roll(hit or miss!) and pizza (try puff pizza pastry base 😍) and of course their mousse 😀

If you are looking some express bytes than this pace is good. They serve many things. Ordered Tandoori Loaded Fries - taste was good. Will surely try some other items next time.

Food is good but the quantity is too less even for a heavy eater biryani. It’s around half a biryani - your heavy eater pack. For the price you charge it’s too less. Taste was good but quantity is less.

They are pure cheats. They charge Rs 250+ for a puch of rice. The quantity is less than even the third grade reaturanta. Burnt rice is called biryani with 2 uncooked pices of chicken.<br/>Total fraud resurant

Have tried Charcoal Eats in Mumbai, so we ended up ordering from here in Ahmedabad at a friend's place. The Classic Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani and Butter Chicken Rice Bowl were very good. The Tandoori Loaded Fries and chicken Tikka roll was delicious. Everyone enjoyed the food.

I ordered twice from this place, Afghan biryani and veg biryani. Both the times I could eat oil more than the biryani. No taste, none at all, but oil. And I don't say this figuratively, but in real connotation. Think before ordering from here, maybe they have changed our maybe they haven't.

The biryanis' are not so good...... You order for biryani... all you get is oily rice with all the masala and spices on earth. One should try Hyderabadi Hut biryanis. It's just awesome...all the flavours and melting flesh are to die for<br/><br/>Kebabs are really good though.

Pleasantly surprised from my order from Charcoal Eats last night. The chicken tikka roll was loaded far more than I expected it to be. The tikka pieces used were huge and they had the right amount of spice in them.<br/><br/>The tandoori fries were also good but I think I'll rather have them ala carte as delivery makes them soggy.<br/><br/>Initial impressions are really good. Will order some more and update the review.<br/><br/>Update : Ordered their popular Sheekh Kabab Pau and it was excellent. The Kababs were tasty and not dry and went will the pau preparation.

Ambience is good. But service is lousy. Half of the items on the menu was not available. They took a long time to deliver just one item. Overpriced for the quantity served.

Their service is very bad, and their employees do not even talk properly. They also do things like they seem to have been intoxicated. I would never want to come back to this place again.

This outlet is brightly sitting at one of the best places in ahmedabad. Charcoal eats is anyways my favourite in Mumbai and seeing their retaurant in ahmedabad was a delight. And as always it had same unique flavourful taste. This place in particular is huge and has a lovely decor. Must visit. Dahi ke kebab is a highly recommended starter and avadhi is my favourite biryani.

It was a pleasant surprise to see Charcoal Eats outlet in Ahmedabad. This is a big restaurant compared to the ones in Mumbai. The ambience is very good. Its a self service format. Peri Peri Puff Crust Pizza was nice and the crust is different and crunchy. Aloo Tikki Roll was also yum and quite filling, as it was made of malabari paratha. We also had Brew Ice Tea Peach which has less sugar and was made of actual tea, it was refreshing.

The place is a take-out only place. Though food is good but pathetic service. Save yourself a trip to here and order online as the restaurant does not have basic essentials for dine-in. I am fine with self-service but at least plates, spoons should be provided. The service is damn slow and I am not sure how it is quick-service restaurant. It took more than 45 minutes for the first food to arrive. Staff is least trained to even take orders.The food served is frozen and not cooked fresh as there is no facility to cook food.

This outlet looks very nice. I have visited Charcoal Eats in Mumbai also. I visited the place with my family and we all had a good time. The service is fast and staff is friendly. The Chicken Tikka Starter, Aloo Tikki Pav, Peri Peri Chicken Puff Pizza and Awadhi Chicken Biryani was delicious. My sister enjoyed Tandoori Fries a lot. This place is a must visit.

Charcoal Eats is a national chain on modern concept of quick preparation, high focus on delivery and no use of cutlery (only disposables) for dine-in. They are serving + delivering wide range of food in veg and nonveg - fries, starters, rolls, pizza, biryani, Indian combos and deserts.<br/><br/>Fries were good and fresh topped with tandoori sauce and mayonnaise.<br/><br/>Veg Galauti Kabab wasn't quite galauti kabab but were good in taste for beetroot tikkis with nice crunch of peanut.<br/><br/>Tandoori Paneer Pizza had good quality of cheese and paneer but they can do better with the puffy base.<br/><br/>Amritsari Chhole and Malabar Paratha combo was good in taste. Chhole was prepared perfectly but was slightly low on salt.<br/><br/>The afghani biryani we tried had white gravy base and balance of spices and veggies. It had everything that a biryani should have. Quantity was ample and was served with curd.<br/><br/>In desert we tried Salted Caremal Mousse which was surprisingly amazing desert.<br/><br/>Definitely going back here for biryani and mousse.

Charcoal Eats has opened their new outlet very recently, at Satellite, Ahmedabad. It's a cozy little place, with a highway-facing view. We were served :<br/>1. Paneer Tikka Pizza: They make their pizzas on a puff base which makes it unique and different. We enjoyed the pizza.<br/>2.Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani: The Biryani was very flavoursome and filling. It was served with a bowl of Raita (with full plate). They serve both half and full plates.<br/>3. Schezwan Fries: The fries were scrumptious. The Schezwan sauce was spicy and the masala made it lip-smackingly good.<br/>4. Chocolate Mousse- The mousse was chocolatey and we loved it! The mumbai brand has opened up a franchise store here. The location is good but the parking can be an issue. Best suited for deliveries tho, that's what I feel. They have an array of products ranging from pizzas to biryani. <br/><br/>The fries and the pizza are a must try if you visit them. I am not sure how well they'll end up in a delivery. That said the pizza and the fries that we tried were all very Good! No complaints there. The other thing that we had there were the biryanis. These too were mild in flavour and failed to impress us but the quantity for the price was decent enough. Nothing extra ordinary but not that bad either. <br/><br/>The one thing that we did not like and the reason behind deducting one point was the starters. All of them were super oily and we ran out of tissues trying to soak all the oil up. The management has taken a note of that and responded positively but if I were you, I'd first order just one kebab and try that before ordering on more. <br/><br/>They also have pre made desserts served in small plastic jars which tasted very well. I especially loved the one that was named salted caramel. Even the chocolate mousse was delicious. That is something you should definitely try out!

You are doing everything right but who serves 1 paratha with chicken kheema ? It's a common sense that when someone orders kheema, that person wants a satisfying brunch. Please increase the number of parathas with this dish, charge extra if you want. I must say, kheema was awesome. One of the best in Ahmedabad.
