Review Patel Wadi Garden Restaurant - Ahmedabad

I recently visited this place with my family and tried their Tomato Soup, Manchow Soup, Crispy Veg, Paneer Bhurji, Cheese Butter Masala, Garlic Naan, Tawa Roti, Butter Naan and Khichdi. From all these items everything was pretty good except Garlic Naan and Khichdi as the Khichdi was not that tasty and Garlic Naan had too much Garlic for my liking. About the service it was a bit all over the place as they were pretty busy and it was weekend, the staff was nice and polite but the food was not coming in a proper order, but overall I will still go to this place again.

The food was amazing, I tried- paneer lababdaar dal tadka Garlic naan Bajre ki roti Everything was delicious, just the price is a bit higher as per the quantity. And there is waiting for like 30-45 min on weekends so plan accordingly.

If you are planning or wish to feel dhaba wibe, eat kathiawadi/Punjabi cusine. You are at right place. Food taste good, atmosphere adds more color to it. They also have party plot if needed. Over good place in a open house dhaba style ambiance. Must try. Please share your experience or let know if any questions. Thank you!!

Good place if you wanna try Kathiawadi menu. Food taste is good. Ambiance is also good with khat sitting.

Delicious food ate Patelvaadi. Gujarati, Punjabi, and Chinese food available. Beautiful sitting arrangement like traditional and modern both option are there with open and roofing. Nice place for mini party. Suggest to try there food. It's situated at iscon to bop road near by sp ring road.

I've recently visited this place on New Year's Eve. This place has a whole Vibe of kathiyavad. They have kathiyavadi and Punjabi food but my personal favourite is their kathiyavadi food. They have different seating arrangements and especially in winters it's the perfect place to have food. We tried:- Kaju gathiya subji 5/5 ⭐ Dhokli subji 5/5 ⭐ Paneer lababdar 3/5 ⭐ Vagharelo rotlo 5/5 ⭐ Dal bati 4.5/5 ⭐ Tava roti butter milk gud and rice. Must recommend place for kathiyavadi food.

Really good location and sitting arrangements. Good staff and food is really good and tasty. We had a great experience. Lighting is really good for family pictures.

A good place for dining out on summer nights or breezy days. Outdoor seating with above average ambience. Food is also decent and the menu is fairly priced. Kathiyawadi & Punjabi is good, and dal-baati is highly recommended.

Amazing food for Kathiyawadi lovers. We had rotla, baingan bhartha, lasniya bateta for our house party. The test was amazing as the food was made on Chula. The owner is very co-operative.

Well,frankly speaking this place is for those who fullfill there hunger pure gujju desi restaurent,pocket friendly ..miles away from advance food items but u may feel like...dharai ne khadhu..rotis are awsome..go for only eat not other standreds..ps better then other kathiyawadi well knowns

Food is good but very spicy ...but service is too bad....waiters are arrogant...and service is too slow..I wish they improve their service..and the waiters learn some good manners

This is a good place for hangout; however, cannot ask for food quality or taste. Comparatively charges are bit higher. It is based on good Deshi theme.

This gem of a place is literally hidden in the outskirts of Ahmedabad. Serves excellent kathiavadi food at very reasonable rates. The ambience is that of a conventional Gujarati dhaba. Good place to dine along with friends and family. tasted quite a few items and majority of the items were above average. Good hang out for vegetarians, tasted kaju paneer, Choorma , soups , starters and veggies and everything was good to brag about.

Its a nice place to go out dining.You can get spicy north indian taste here.Sitting on Khat also makes the dining different.<br/>Must try if u are missing spicy food in gujrat.

Pretty Desi ambience which is a bit different from the regular indoor Restaurants , if you want traditional Kathiyawadi food then this is the place for you. The food and veggies were really Fresh which was a Bonus in the cold weather.

A very nice place to sit and dine. Not only kathiyawadi food but also other dishes. All well tasted. If you're very much sophistication obsessed then you may not like the seating arrangements but for a good food, you can compromise over it. 😊

Much praised open air kathiawadi restaurant with low seating arrangement and a large spacious setting.<br/><br/>As winter's setting in, went ahead and tried the food here and I must say it was a delightful meal. Apart from kathiawadi food, they also serve Dal Bati, North Indian and Chinese dishes.<br/><br/>Ordered for a kathiawadi thali and it turned out to be a winner! They give an option of choosing two kathiawadi curries of your own choice, which makes it a really good deal at just INR 140. The thali includes two curries, 4 tawa rotis, papad kadhi and khichdi and masala buttermilk. The whole thing is so filling and tasty that you would not need anything else. I chose baingan bhartha and sev tomato and both of them were awesome in taste, although baingan bhartha was less spicy for my palate. The service was quick and attentive.<br/><br/>A fantastic place which deserves much more attention and love of the city!

Authentic taste of Rajasthan food dal bati, rajvadi dhokdi and vagharelo rotlo with chhas. I eaten Jain food and it was awesome, little delay in servicing. So place order at once to enjoy breakless food.

Proper authentic Gujarati food. Tasty and good quality quantity food. Need to work on seating arrangements as all the time its not good to be so windy. Though kathiawadi food and taste is thumbs up.

Food was very normal and service was so slow one can't imagine. We waited ordered food was served we completed the dinner all took in around 45 mins but irony is they gave us bill after an hour more time than the food eating pizza process that too on a busy weekend.

The pure desi food of patelwadi touched my heart & stomach ;) I went there with my colleagues and enjoyed a lot...i luv its churma with desi ghee...its awesome

Good food...& even u can enjoy a good service...one problem here is that they dont use much amount of salt..n u have to add it as per the taste..!! overall its reasonble too..!! We were 6 persons & had order many things n bill was under 1000..hydrabadi biryani was the best..!!

Overall food taste was good but one serious problem is their cooks are replacing frequently , wanted to give 4.5 but 3.5 for High Prices, sitting was not so pleasant.

Decent place to have an affordable dinner. Outside sitting with a few smaller round tables, few 'Khaats' and table-chairs gives you a complete Dhaba experience.<br/>They still seem new in the food setting and it is clearly visible from the quality of food and service. Don't expect spot-on service on a weekend and be ready to see some extra oil in your plate.<br/>Partially authentic Kathiawadi food and can be considered for one visit. <br/>Must try their 'Rajwadi Dhokdi' and 'Vaghareli Khichdi'.<br/>I am looking forward to visit once more and try their Daal Baati churma.

I had had dinner here once. It was okay in terms of normal Gujarati food. However, we tried undhiyu here on uttarayan. It was worst ever I had in my entire life. Mostly oil and brinjles all over. I was saved by home made undhiyu sent by neighbor. Not good.
