Review Honest - Ahmedabad

Visited this amazing pav bhaji outlet Today just because of their famous name Honest. All the covid protocols were followed stricly. It's quite a small place with minimal decor.We tried many of their famous items. 📌What we tried:- 🔸Signature dishes. 🔸Butter pav bhaji. 🔸Special Pulao. 🔸Butter masala paw (bhaji wala). 🔸Chilly garlic noodles 😋. 🔸Punjabi fix thali. The food prepared was fresh and the quantity was upto the mark. According to the price and quality it was really good. I recommend Butter pav bhaji and special pulav. This two were my absolute favourite and too good. You can definitely give this place a try, won't disappoint you. Total cost of one person :200/-. अच्छा लगा तो शेर करो.

I ordered chole bhature and biryani both were very good and service was also quick .

Awesome food. The best part is that you get drinking water in a glass bottle. air conditioning was good and tables were clean. Test and healthy salad is also offered with thali. Punjabi thali was my favorite.

South Indian food is good, You can try other food also but don't try noodles

Same old taste and hygiene maintained overall. Staff could be more courteous in general.

Good Food. Variety of South Indian and North Indian food is available here.

I like the cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant. Food is good. Cannot say excellent. But it is good in Bopal area compared to others, Dried Manchurian is really good, every time my wife orders it first.

Nice place to visit because of excellent taste of all food item.

The baked macaroni is horrible and terrible....its too sweet and the cheese seems to be mawa...there was no salt and no seasoning...the sandwich is misleading and such a small portion.... We had to throw the macaroni in the dustbin after eating one bite of it...

i am a regular customer, i ordered PUNJABI THALI in that quantity of rice and all too less than as earlier we used to received. now feels its waste of money and hence i stopped, will not order in future.

Waste of money..i ordered pav bhaji..it was not fresh and taste was also uneatable its bad experience for honest and pav also not fresh its bad for health total waste of money..i will never refer someone for this outlet

The thali taste good, but the mix vegetable sabji was ok ok!! Roti was soft no complaints, best was gulab jamun taste sooo good.,dal n paneer sabji were great at taste.!

When we talk about the combination of vegetables blended with combination of spices , pav bhaji is the best option we can eat or make any time , anywhere . Specially when made in butter and served along tava pulav , HONEST is a place based in Gujarat to eat authentic style pav bhaji and pulav , ambience changes ... staff changes ... chef changes ... but the flavours , the taste and the name remains same !!! Mast try ...

It is okay. Food is good. Location is also nice. They need to improve on the ambience. it's very congested and you need to roam around tables to get seated at yours. They do have some fancy sitting area on one side. But I don't know who they lend it to.

Too much spice. Couldn’t eat. Have to throw entire bucket of rice. Unbarrable. Never seen fried from Honest like this. Have to improve. Total waste of money.

Their pau bhaji used to be good but now the quality has gone down the drain. Please improve your quality to make it worth our visit please. Not recommended

Today i ordered veg handi, paneer tikka masala and variety of breads. This was my first time and i am fully satisfied and would surely recommend to try ! 😍😍😍

Very bad low grade quality food.Worst food i have ever had. <br/>I visited yesterday my mom ordered  their chana puri which cost like approx INR 175. <br/>first they served us burnt puris ( which they should not if they had comman sense) which we returned after 10 mins they served one puri which was also lightly burnt and oily still my mom had halfof it then they came with another one which was having like 200ml oil in it. literally floating in the puris bottam.  i called the manager he said he will get a new one. and they idiots served us the same puri which we returned by just removing the oil from it with help of the tissue paper and puri was like broke into pieces and it was not even puffed up how it can be puffed if they idiots have tapped it so many times with tissue paper to remove the excess oil from it. <br/>Then we returned it saying we don't want this  still they charged us for the same <br/><br/>I mean how can you treat your customers like this <br/><br/>Shame on you Dhwanit Foods !!!!<br/><br/>If its a franchise i will request honest to look into this and improve customer service i guess they don't know customer service so not improve learn customer service.

It was a bad experience when I ordered a Punjabi Thali from Honest.<br/>Starting with curries, there was no Paneer cube in the paneer vegetable.<br/>Breads were half baked.<br/>Salad was looking like of yesterday's.<br/>Just the rice and dessert was okay.<br/>Overall, was not satisfactory.<br/>

Its one of the best food chain across Ahmedabad. You can easily access Honest outlets in almost all areas of this city. They have reputation of serving tasty food on fair price mostly. <br/>Things I ordered:-<br/><br/>Rawa masala dosa(inbutter):- it was good in quantity and cooked perfectly. Crispy dosa along with slightly spicy sambhar and two flavored chuttneys. For a single person I believe its more than sufficient. Only thing which they need to improve is ‘Chuttney’ . Bcoz sambhar serves hot usually and these Chuttney usually serves pretty much cold. One can easily feel that it just came out from fridge &God knows since when its been in fridge. Other than that it’s pretty awesome place to go . 4/5 <br/><br/>Sarso ka saag & Makke di Roti:- Being north Indian i always crave for such special dishes. They made it good in taste but somehow lacking the essential of Punjab. But again its worth trying. 4/5

Food arrived on time and seems freshly prepared but the daal tadka was covered with 5mm thick layer of oil. Malai kofta was hard (like frozen and defrosted for serving) and and the white gravy was too sweet for my liking. Roti & nan were chewy. The jeera rice was the only dish prepared nicy with all thr proportions right. I will not order the food from this place again. The owners of this joint need to seriously look in to their cook's training and make sure that they follow the recipes. i had good experience at other honest restaurants frenchises.

Ordered Pulav and roasted papad for the patient. Papad seemed like a chapati. Not at all crispy. Pulav was horribly spicy and manager at the hotel was rude as well as denied even accepting the fault. Honest this kind of service is not acceptable from u. No lemon, aachar or green chilly with Pulav.<br/><br/>Not at all appreciating.

Awful food. Excessive oil and spicy food. No taste and very bad experience. Don't order and save yourself! The pav bhaji's bhaji was just loaded with chilli powder and nothing else, you couldn't taste anything other than that. We had to throw away the food as it was inedible.

I ordered chur chur nana meal and hakka noodles with pavbhaji and pulav<br/>Nann meal was not good as the taste intially i have tired could have been better as it was served with chole ( dal makhni would have been a better option).pav bhaji was upto the mark. Pulav was good but the topping ( kaju, kishmish) should be less rather no kishmish, hakka noodles was really good and worth trying.<br/>Oil should be less in all the items as it spoiling the taste of the items i have ordered

It is divided in two parts one for famiies( sofa siting) and other is for 3 or 2 people sitting(loose chairs with pattern upholstery done). I have been here for lunch with my friends and we have been here for 3-4 times.<br/>We always order one fix punjabi thali and we liked it. They serve one paneer sabji and one veg.sabji and also 3 butter rotis with rice and daal and papad and in dessert gulab jamun.<br/>We also ordered paneer tikka dry once and it was nat good. Paneer was not cooked properly. They overcooked marrienated paneer and wen we ate it felt liked burnt.<br/>We also ordered paav bhaji once and it is said it's forte of honest. It tasted good. Paav were baked properly and bhaji was cooked properly.<br/>All over it's nice. Service is good. Staff is polite.

It’s my first time tryin Zomato services. Felt like havin pav baji from honest restaurant, the bill was about 185. they suggested me to go through Zomato as they couldn’t do delivery below 300. Reluctantly, I downloaded the app, and placed on order with little hope of getting it in an hour. To my bloody surprise, the Zomato chap was at my door in 20mins 😳😳. If this is the usual consistent service offered by Zomato, I’m impressed !

The pau were not properly cooked while the bhaji was very spicy when I had specifically mentioned it to be medium-light. The last visit was enjoyable and I would have given a high rating, but the meal delivered was definitely not upto the mark.

Friday 6 th July 2018. Yesterday I went honest restaurant (,bopal) sabji was tasty comparing to honest bodakdev & good ambiance, food tasty here( honest- bopal) but nothing new taste ,roti paratha rice were not innovative and average but good for filling tummy. Means Eatable.

A lot like your regular place for chat, pav bhaji and other desi snacks! Honest is quite popular in the city and has reputation for good food. I was slightly dissapponting by the pav bhaji which goes against what I've heard.<br/>The preparations were nice but nothing really exciting.
