Review Upsouth - Ahmedabad

This is an authentic South Indian restaurant, run by South Indian guys. Taste wise, it is excellent. Ambience is nice but not ideal if it's houseful. Service is really good and fast. Only thing is, it's comparatively costlier. Some 20-30% higher than regular south Indian restaurant. Try their combos, as u get many varieties in single thaal and its economical. But still, food is really good and authentic.

Always been delighted to have meal at any of the upsouth outlets.staff is always on their toes and was ready to help. Tried dosa platter ,Mysore masala dosa and plain dosa. Everything was great and specially their chutneys are mouthwatering. Any south Indian meal was incomplete without filter coffee and it was good too. Overall had amazing time at this outlet of upsouth motera

Had a great experience there! All the workers are very polite in nature. The food is too great and very unique too! We tried a dish named 'Malabar Paratha Sandwich' which was too good in taste, a must try dish of here!

Up south is really nice restaurant for South indian food. Verity of south india options with combo options arr available Combo options are unique idea of up south in South indian food, combo is good for people to test verity of south item in single dishes, combo have item like mini dosha, mini idely, chana puri, mendu vada, verity of chatny. Other than combos options are little costly compare to other south restaurant. Test of food is amazing. Verity of chantny and test is amazing. Ambious is good. Service is good. Overall really good restaurants only one point need to improve is cost of individual item.

A very different in its kind. The restaurant interior theme is very attractive. It seems like a coffee cafe. Also they have very different menu options rather than a boring South Indian restaurant menu. About food: The is very much authentic and pure. Loved the food presentation.

A South indian restaurant with a great combo deals in affordable rate.. We have tried its dosa combo.. it includes mini idlis, dosa, filter cofee and different types of chutney.. fresh food. 👍

Good options for South Indian food in Motera area. They had many south Indian combos.

Food, Service and Ambiance is very good. We tried huge South Indian Combo Thali, Poori Sabzi, Parotha Sabzi and Uttapam. Parotha is not exactly the layered kerala parotha it is the simple Maida Parotha. Complimentary Chutney's are mouth watering. No charge for extra Sambhar & Chutney. Go for UpSouth.

A very decent place. The menu has some genuine south Indian food. The initial serving may be less in quantity but they'll still refill your plate with some more gravy or one more paratha, basically according to what you order. Hygiene wise, it's very clean and there are good ambient lights. It's also comfortable inside and outside since they have seating out as well. A place you could sit in for hours with the right company of course.

Visited on Sunday. The menu was same and with same rates. But the staff was very unattentive. Had to call every now and then for all services. Had to ask for cutlery, tissues, water, everything. If they dont have time they should not entertain customers and can mark the restaurant as closed. If they r charging the same, they should offer same services. If offering less services, why dnt they charge less. Food quality also not to the mark. Ambience is very bright with more than sufficient lights. Poor interior.

They are serving varieties of south indian food. They have really good chutney which that serves with each item. I really liked coolers their. It was really nice. I tried andhra podi idly, mango moksha(must try), mysore masala dosa, south indian special thali, filter coffee. Each of them were up to mark. They also introduced north indian food too. <br/><br/>Recommend 👍

This was our first visit.. Great food, polite staff, and clean place! We loved it.. Worth the money.. We had ordered Andhra podi idli, mysore masala dosa, rawa dosa, uttapam and medhu wada... Everything was delicious 👌🏼 must try!

I didn’t seen a worst restaurant like this. The staff here is so unprofessional and didn’t have knowledge about restaurant due to which lack of service is seen. We ordered puri with alloo and told them not to add tomato but they added that. And then they replaced it with only gravy. 100% waste of money

Food was very good. I had poori sabzi and idli vada. Both the items were freshly prepared and served piping hot. The service was extraordinary. I will definitely come back again.

Upsouth is a hidden gem!! We tried the food in bangalore and were very happy when the store was launched in ahmedabad! We recently visited this place and were floored with the taste of the food! Tried ghee roast dosa, mix uttapam, mysore masala dosa and swamy dosa! Loved the quality and price of the food! Indeed a value for money place! We didnt like the andhra podi idli as it was not fresh to be honest! We informed the team and they got the fresh ones then! Overall we had an amazing experience!!
