Great to have such a cafe near our campus. More than a quick dine place, it is a hot spot for some interesting discussions. Lunch here costs β‚Ή70 but honestly instead of lunch, choose from the variety it offers, especially sandwiches. And don't forget to have a glass of ice tea or buttermilk or cranberry juice or may be a non alcoholic beer.

The cafe is placed inside Kanodia centre for arts. Its a chill cafe with variety of items. The prices are quite reasonable with the taste of food being quite good. I liked the hot chilly cheese sandwich and chauraha special Panini. With a lot of young crowd gathering, it is placed at a unique spot. A little improvement is required in sitting area. else, all is good

Reasonably priced food options. Everything is very tasty, and the variety of options really helps whether one wants a quick snack or a meal. They also have packed chips, chocolates and biscuits along with hot food. They also have a fixed lunch option.

A cute little place. Love their sandwiches and pizza. Everything is prepared fresh and so it takes little more time. Prices may seem to be little on the higher side but quality is really good. Their 4 cheese pizza is amazing.

In a city full of noteworthy colleges and universities, this easily acessible cafe is situated inside the Kanoria Arts Centre which frequently hosts various lectures and conventions during which I happened to have tried this canteen cum cafe. Their Pav Bhaji and Sev Usual is delicious and friendly on the pocket and so is their sandwich and puff. The place is generally occupied by college goers and is vibrant and happy with a few seats and chairs lying around.

Being a CEPT student, this was my everyday snack spot, at least for my daily coffee.

The place is very well located in a quite and green environment. Often there is an art exhibition going on right next door so it really caters the requirements very well.

It's best for the sandwiches, also their usal pav, vada pav, sponge cake, fresh juices are pretty worth the price.

However they do not specialize in thali/Indian lunch platter. They started that a while ago and wasn't really worth a try.

Also they NEVER have change, not even for a 50! πŸ˜’ which disappoints most visitors there.

Also they once introduced Falafel, which I ordered out of curiosity but it turned out to be a hilarious experience. It was basically potato ball in a bun! πŸ˜† PS. That's not even close to a falafel.

My advice, just stick to the sandwiches, tea, coffee and the ambience. You'll be good. πŸ‘πŸΌ

We all have those places on our list which we know we will always end up in when we are low on cash.Really good pocket friendly place and love the sorrounding its like eating in a garden.
Got some pictures somehow(Thou we aren't allowed to apparently)
It's self service place so neatness is upto every individual to maintain.
They have a wide variety of food to offer and cold section containing all sorts of drinks and chocolates.
Amazed by the lunch fixed plate prices.60 bucks for one.
What I ordered was a chauraha cafe special panini , french fries and cold coffee they were all freshly prepared and value for money.
On the other pizza is not something one should order there.
Try out there panini and sandwhichs.

Looking for a quiet space, not too crowded, not glamorous, just a place simple, to have hours of peaceful conversations with good food? Chauraha cafe is the perfect place for you then.
Chauraha cafe, located inside the Kanoria art center is set up in a semi open space, overlooking the sculptural garden of Kanoria Center for Arts, is this simple yet elegant cafe. Subtle dΓ©cor of cane stools , stone benches, some interesting artwork and a lot of green pots and plants in the backyard, this place is meditative and relaxing.
Talking about food, We've been rating all of their food items with either a 4.5 or a 5, all worth to the rates they charge. Apart from the snacks options, we are also a big fan of their lunch plates. Believe me, you ought to have a lunch here at least once.
All in all, Our favourite place currently!

P.S There's a slight change in the menu which is provided here on zomato.

Loved the ambience , the service and the food! Everything here is worth the price. They have a variety of sandwiches to choose from, none of which will disappoint you. The masala chai here is a must have! No other place I've been to serves this quantity of tea for such a low price. Totally in love with this place.

I had ordered French fries and cheese chilli sandwich at Chauraha. The French fries were great in taste but in the cheese chilli sandwich the cheese had not melted properly but still taste wise it was great. The ambience of the place is amazing and the overall food experience was good. Will come back again.

Firstly, this is called Chauraha Cafe not Kanoria Cafe. I study in CEPT University where this Cafe is located. So, I had been an everyday visitor. You could find me there for breakfast, you could find me there for lunch and even in evening for snacks cum supper. They make pretty good tea, sandwiches, ragda and muthiyas. Theplas are stiff and dry. Once I went there at 10 am with a couple of friends as we had a free lecture. It opens at 10:30. There was the cleaner guy cum chef cleaning the platform and the tables. We were waiting for the manager to come so that we can order. It was fine until the guy was cleaning the platform with a mop. Then, he cleaned our table with the same mop which rather made the table dirtier than clean. After finishing the cleaning, he goes and gets a bottle of HIT (insecticide) and sprays all over the platform and the shelves. He then takes a big box of banana wafers and starts transferring them to a jar with the same unwashed hands he used to spray the insecticide and mop everything. We were disgusted and left the place. I would undoubtedly have given this place a rating of 4 if I hadn't seen this. But now, I fear eating any item there after what I saw. I still go there for tea and stuff but only after making sure the item is pre prepared and doesn't contain any insecticide for cleaning my stomach of cockroaches.

Ambience: 3.5/5
Service: 0.5/5 (includes the cleaning)
Value for money: 4/5
Taste: 3.5/5

Chauraha cafe is probably one of the daintiest cafe I know of in Ahmedabad. Neat, clean and in a perfect setting, Chauraha is about the food they serve as much as being about the ambience. It is an open cafe nestled in one corner of Kanoria Arts Centre. A sweet lady runs the cafe which serves mostly home-made food items. They have the most amazing thepla - fresh, and soft to eat. Staying away from home, I badly miss home/mom-made food. And that's how i end up going to Chauraha very often. Patra made by the owner-lady is delicious. Sev usal being a speciality if Baroda is served at only a few places in Ahmedabad, this one being a good option. Sandwiches are made using fresh bread, chilli cheese being my personal favourite here. Black tea and green tea served by the aunty prepared upon order is simply refreshing!

With different art installations and sculptures in the backdrop, the refreshment experiences gets clubbed with visual-arty pleasure.

Thank you, Chauraha for being there!
