Fafda and gathiya were okay, coin khakhra was good. Place is not good for dineout. There is good selection of sweets also available, you may get ghewar also. Parking can be issue here. Its in mid of busy street. Place is crowded but fast moving crowd.

Chetna Gathiya Rath is a wonderful shop for Gujarati snacks! Their Gathiya Fafda is simply delicious, and the chutneys complement the flavors perfectly. They also have a good variety of Farali options for fasting days. The staff is friendly, and the snacks are always fresh. Highly recommended for authentic Gujarati treats!

Good shop for farsan and fresh hot itms like kachori fafda ગાંઠીયા Mostly rates are little above average, taste of good. Parking on main memnagar gurukul road is issue.

Saurashtra Fafda, Jalebi, Vanela Gathiya, Navtad Samosa, Khaman, bhakharwadi and what not. Almost everything served hot. Amazing taste. All snacks aerved with different varities of delicious Chutney. It is great taste of Authentic Gujarat food as Fafda. It's little expensive however you get quality of food. I recommend this once in a month should be ok. Moreover Jalebi was so much sugary.

Starting with issue at this shop is always queue( only point for cutting 5th star) for garam fafda, rest be assured that you will get best kathiyawadi fafda, ganthiyas , with respective chutneys, Kadhi and papaiya chutneys at its best taste. The jalebi is always at its best and yes you will enjoy this deadly combination. The rest nastas and sweets are also good in terms of both quality and taste.

Very famous for the hot snacks in the area. Lots of people in the queue for fresh fafda and other snacks early morning. Very good behaviour of the staff members. Accept the online payment via Paytm and Also accept the Cash payment. Very clean. Have a veriety of the menu like snacks, farali, cold food. Fafda at 60 ₹/100g.

Loved it. We tried out authentic Gujarati Breakfast here. We did quite a hunt for this place and walked a quarter mile perhaps. After an exhaustive search for the best Jalebi Fafda in Ahmedabad, we found this place. And it was really good. There's no seating place, but you'll find fresh snacks all the time. You can take packed items to your home or as gifts as well.

Never order food from a place where owners think they are doing a favor to you. Ordered through Uber eats on sunday morning. After lot of time when food was not delivered called the resto to check status and i regreted caliing them . The owner started shouting that they are not obliged to say how much time it will take as it is the duty of uber guys to respond and he was rude as if he is doing some favor to me. Food is good that is not a problem but i will never and i say again never order from a restaurant with such behaviour

Locely place to be real taste of Gujju food. Fafda, Gathiya and Jalebi is just to amazing... My second home for snacks for sure..... Name the gujju dishes and they have it.

THE place to get your Sunday dose of fafda-jalebi on Sunday mornings!! As a kid I used to go for 'morning walks' with my dad just so we could stop by this place on the way! The queue here on Sunday mornings and on dusshera are legendary.<br/><br/>Personally I like their papaya kuchumber more than the fafda itself. It is tastier and fresher than the ones served in other places, is rightly seasoned complements the crispy fafda perfectly. The jalebi is delicious and not too sweet, so it doesn't take away from the flavours of the fafda and kuchumber.<br/><br/>All in all its a great way to start Sunday and is definitely recommended.<br/><br/>P.S.- The place is takeaway only and doesn't offer seating facilities.

Visited Ahmedabad after 3 years. Had fafda, jalebi and khaman after a long time and thoroughly enjoyed it. <br/><br/>Thin crisply fried melt in the mouth fafdas with a besan chutney and papaya salad. Cannot stop with a few. <br/><br/>Soft and tasty khaman which you can get only in Gujarat. And you can have a bite of fried green chillies to add a bit of spice to it.<br/><br/>Top off the breakfast with sweet crunchy jalebis. Gujarati breakfast at its best. Will visit again when I am in Ahmedabad.

Its vary famous on Gurukul road but Fafda Ganthia is not exactly like from Saurashtra Region, what they are claiming.  Also all the people preparing food are  from Rajasthan, but restaurant is famous for Saurashtra Region taste!!!

Best place to have authentic Gujarati breakfast...tried everything we could see..tried the gujarati yellow chutney for he first time that is served with dhokla..khamman..patra.. fafda ..jalebi..sev khamni...everything was so good n will definitely make your day..all these for just 150 rs for 2 pax :)

One of the famous place in Gurukul area. Fafda & ganthiya are good here. Tried their samosa, kachori & nylon khaman & all are average. Some packaged snacks are really good.

No other day can be better than Dusheera to have Fafda, Cholafali and Jalebi. Yesss !! Luckily I was in Ahmedabad on this special day where u will find long queue for Fafda and Jalebi. People ordering in bulk and kilo is smallest order u will see anyone ordering.<br/><br/>On 7:15 a.m I was standing almost 60 place far from the delivery counter. I grab my parcel and I was on d way to home. When I opened the parcel, smell of fresh fried fafda opened up my appetite.<br/><br/>Fafda were yummy. It was like saurashtrian style fafda. My effort of standing in queue for fafda was not wasted at all. I loved their papaya chutney which we don't get in Surat. Cholafali was full of masala but I mainly focused on fafda and jalebi.<br/><br/>I will surely re-visit this place on any normal day.

" Chetna Ganthia Rath " - This place has crossed many years serving farsan to amdavadis. They are probably known for their Fafda , which are so thin , crunchy and fresh. The taste of it is un matchable. But they lack of delivering good taste in their chatni. It tasted sour. I've been going to chetna ganthia rath since 3 years. They make delicious fafdas and jalebis. Except this common things, they also make a good tasteful navtaad samosas. I love them. But i reccommend them to keep their farsaans fresh. It always seem like they are not fresh and this is a drawback. So at last,its a good place to have breakfast with many choices to eat.

Well its quite a long time since I have been there except to buy toasts at Chetna Ganthia Rath. But way back in the 90's used to be here for Ganthia with Chatni... Used to be yummy to eat them with class mates from my school near by.

We Gujju, our day esspecially Sundays cannot be started without Fafda, Gathiya, Khaman, patra, Jalebis and list is long.. instead i would say.. we cant complete our day without farsans..<br/>We gujjus are known for these!! He picked me to this place early in the morning and made me stand in the long queue!! <br/><br/>It was worth standing in queue coz so called NYLON FAFDA was actually different in texture and in thickness compare to our classic fafdas. Nylon fafdas were smooth in texture, thin strips.. u will think k they might be using more soda or such thing for making more silky texture of it.. even i dont knw wat they use.. but it was tasting same lik classic fafdas.. taste great when paired with green yellowish kadhi and shredded papaya salad and yes.. spicy green chillies too.<br/><br/>Shop is also selling sweets, kachori, khaman, patra, gathiya etc.. n farali items too.. esp during fasting days n festivals.<br/><br/>Coming to the place.. located on road side. There is no place to sit n eat. They are having two tables only where you can stand n eat.. <br/><br/>They prepare fafdas n gathiyas infront of us only.. any time you go.. so no question for stale food.<br/><br/>Hygeine wise place needs to maintain more cleaniness esspecially for washing hands n dustbins.. also need more space to stand n relish food<br/> comfortably during rush hours.<br/>Even drinking water is also one of the major point to be taken into consideration.<br/><br/><br/>Overall... Today on Janmashtmi first of all i want to wish happiieee Janmashtmi to all my foodie friends...you will think that why i'm writing this review about ganthiya rath today..but this place is not only serving gathiya and farsan...they serve specially farali items which i've eat today and think that lets share this with you..!<br/>They serve lots of farali items on this kind of festivals where almost all the people have fast.! Today when i just went there to eat baf-vada there is some new nice items they are making...they are serving hot sabudana-vada,farali dhokla,farali patra, and so many more farsans..but i like the most is baf-vada and sabudana-vada with chutni which is farali.! And all the items are from pure farali oil and other ingredients.! Try some farali there...you will love it.!<br/>And in ordinary days in every morning they serve hot Fafda-Jalebi with some delicious chutney and papaiya chutney..plus they evne serve so much more items..! I just love this place for farsans as specially for fafda-jalebi in regular days.! <br/>Just try here fafda-jalebi and ganthiya.!
