Review The Vegan Kitchen - Ahmedabad

Sejal Jhalla
Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant. The menu is extensive covering variety of cuisines. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Food tasted authentic, fresh and delicious. Portion sizes are good. Absolutely the best vegan food compared to many vegan places outside India. My family (vegetarian but not vegan) equally enjoyed each and every bite of every single dish we placed an order for. The owner, the staff looks after with great care, so wonderful customer service too. Very highly recommend! I wish I can give more than 5 stars!

Having been in Gujarat for over a week from England, we found it difficult to find decent vegan food until we came across The Vegan Kitchen. I am really happy we found this place, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is very relaxed. We tried the pizza that others have mentioned and it was as delicious as described. We also had the fresh juices and the pesto pasta along with one of the best vegan cakes I've ever had. Loved the place so much that we went back for breakfast the next morning. The owner is very friendly and there's a good little dog cLled Nelson who's just the sweetest so make sure to pet him hello.

The Vegan Kitchen is one of a very few only vegan restaurants in Ahmedabad. The food is good here. They have gaming facility also, you can play billiards while they prepare your food. They have a game room where you can play various video games as well.

Quite easily the best food I've had so far in my time in India as a vegan. The owner was lovely, and the food had massive range. I'd give it 6 stars if I could!

The food here is amazing! The best items we had were veggie pizza, broccoli kebabs, tofu tikka grilled cheese, loaded nachos, and tomato pesto dip with toast. The mediterranean platter and Tofu butter masala meal were pretty good, and didn’t much like the cheesy garlic bread. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I didn’t like the ambience. There is not good decor and only a few tables for sitting because most of the space is taken up by pool tables.

#TheVeganKitchen #Review Tired of spending long hours poring over the menu, scrutinizing each ingredient? Then you’re unsure if these restaurants are ethical? What if the chef forgot and accidentally added ghee to the ‘dal’. Committed vegans are happiest when they know for sure that accidents aren’t possible in this wholly The vegan kitchen. Paneer is unheard of and tofu rules supreme. All these days we believed it was tough being vegan in India. Now take a look at this vegan option available for all of us and for vegananism committed people in the heart of city called Ahmedabad. So stay unworried and vegan forever with these cruelty free menus. The vegan Kitchen seems to be Ahmedabad's first complete vegan restaurant, It's located at: Address: Yogi Complex, Ground Floor, Drive In Rd, near Reliance Smart, Gurukul, Ahmedabad. The place has a hugely Positive vibes and one can sit, read their favorite novel, write, listen to music or just stay idle. 30 plus sitting small outlet with sober interior. The menu comes as a jackpot for the vegans as it is filled with variety of options of desi and global cuisines in average normal rates similar to other nonvegan restaurants. We tried some mouth-watering vegan cheese pizzas, vegan humus with pitta bread, vegan khichdi, malabari paratha, Vegan tea, vegan chhas, Vegan rose pista cake and vegan chocolate strawberry pudding. Opened on 29th February 2020 and It has gained popularity in very little time. It's definitely worth a visit with friends and family. Three cheers and the best wishes to Darshak Rajgor and #DeepPatel with #BhumiRajgor for opening such a wonderful concept in Ahmedabad city. #ipaidforit. Restaurant/kitchen within a games place. Very nice range of food on the menu. Everything is freshly made to order so it can take around 20-30min for food to come. Had some nice cakes too.

The ambience was nice. The owner was polite and the service was good. I tried vegan cheese burst. Off course vegan foods have their own challenge but my non-vegan cousin also liked it.

Best Vegan Pastry at affordable rate. Mr. Darshak and Mr. Aniket are kind and humble person, who served me and explained me about their Pastry. Infact Mr. Darshak himself is a Vegan, he believes that if he is vegan then it's his moral duty to serve Vegan only. I loved his ethical and moral principle.

Owner/Store Manager of here is very kind and generous, that's one of the main reason why anyone would love this place. The food quality is delicious, and do try the Pizzas, they are wonderful. (Remark: Store Manager is very kind toward dogs who were around the store)

Had one of the most delicious pizza of my life here. What made it tastier and even more delicious was the cruelty free tag to it. So inspired by the concept of the vegan kitchen, I wish they grow and expand all over the country.

This kitchen serves ONLY VEGAN food. Great initiative to inculcate the idea of veganism in Ahmedabad. I have had various items and all were having an authentic taste but i liked the chocolate shake. Perfect blend of 100% organic cocoa and nutmilk alongwith hazelnut and sprinkled chocolate chips which are purely organic. Worth trying for all the ones following vegan diet. 👍
