Review Honey Due Restaurant - Ajmer

The haunt of many students of Mayo College since the 60's, I had read about this restaurant in a book. Didn't have time to go in for a meal but I stopped here to get a non vegetarian club sandwich packed for my train ride back to Delhi. Staff was very good and understood what I wanted and let me photograph the food for this review before packing it. That sandwich saved my life on the train as it was taste and simple to digest.

A medium-range decent hotel. The taste was too good. We tried hundi biryani and it was awesome, They have veg and non-veg dishes. Nearby Ajmer railway station and they have more train orders. It has a nice ambience and some dishes have the authentic taste.

I really appreciate for their service and food. Actually we came from Hyd to Ajmer at late night, the restaurant is just closed that time, we requested them and they have opened it for us, served hot and delicious food. Our tiredness due to long journey is much relieved, and that too at such a late hour, they patiently cooked and served the food for us. Thanks a lot guys

It was probably the only restaurant in Ajmer in the 1960’s . We were in school then and had an occasional meal there and as kids were in awe when visiting I remember the food used to be good to average then. I’m visiting Ajmer after almost 3 decades, hope the place is doing well as I plan to visit this restaurant

I (Harshita Sharma) recently had the pleasure of ordering a meal from Honeydew Restaurant while traveling by train to Mumbai, and I opted for their Chilli Paneer with Fried Rice combo. To say it was a delightful culinary experience would be an understatement. The portion size was generously satisfying for a single person, and the flavors were exceptional. What truly stood out was the top-notch quality of the ingredients used, and the meticulous packaging ensured that the food arrived in perfect condition. I have been visiting this place since 1987 from my First Visit to Ajmer.Awesome Food. Coming from a Delhi Foodie who has enjoyed West Delhi Food, should actually be taken as a compliment. I and my family and extended family have also relished outdoor catering by Honeydew. A must visit ... All Tandoori snacks are great.. Malai kofta and Baked Vegetables are awesome. Just to name a few. Just for record's sake, LonelyPlanet, the most popular Travel Guide Book and Blog writes - "The Honeydew offers a diverse selection of veg and nonveg Indian, Chinese and Continental food in a pleasant, clean and relaxed (but overly dim) atmosphere. It is the restaurant of choice for Mayo College students’ midterm treat. The ice cream, milkshakes and floats will keep you cool."

Amazing Rogan Josh! Most of the food items ordered were amazing. Also it's 5 mins walking from the railway station so one can easily eat before catching a train or immediately as soon as you arrive. There are not many non-veg restaurants around and few that are there are not very up-market. This was an amazing surprise. 😊

I stumbled upon this place while travelling in Ajmer to visit the Durgah, and loved it. After a long time I found some place which has really good food at a reasonable price. Ambience is good, nice music, and good service. Since it is near railway station, you must try if you are in town. Keep it up.

The taste was average and food was safe. The only disadvantage is the food thali I ordered which was not even sufficient for one person. I thought it will be filling but I have to place another order after this also. The amount they serve in a price is very less.

So, after a disappointing order delivery, I got back to back calls from the restaurant the next day that too at 21:55 & 21:56 hours respectively. I was almost asleep and I called back only to find out the guy from the restaurant almost yelling at me to say about the quantity issues which cannot be resolved. And asking me to take care of the ratings the next time.

I ordered mutton seekh kebab from this restaurant but the pieces was too small.. its not worth at all.. nd they took 50 min to cook this kebab.. m heavily dissapointed

Worst butter chicken ever , I'm the owner of 2 Restaurants, I ordered Butter chicken from honeydew first time, in this pic it looks yummy but it was taste less. Gravey was very bad and Chicken was also hard. Bad Experience.

Here you can fined the thali of Honeydew restaurant... Everything thing is good only issue with naan which is very rubbery.......... Rest everything is provided according to menu...

Honeydew is one of the older restaurants of Ajmer. That said, they have maintained their quality really well.<br/>I'm a huge fan of their Honey Chilli Chicken. And they even customize it to be less spicy than usual.<br/>The chicken curries are well prepared and the quantity is decent.<br/>The soups are really good especially the Sweet Corn Chicken Soup. Apart from the usual ingredients, they add garnished veggies that add to the flavour.<br/>I'm not very sure about four wheeler parking. But if you have a two wheeler, then parking is not a problem.<br/>The ambience is great, the service is good.

Ordered food from this restaurant. Worst preparation, worst taste. Totally blend chicken. Very disappointed. Ordered chicken mayonnaise, it was totally blend, tasteless, just 4 very small pieces of chicken in a plate all filled with just mayonnaise. Do not ever order this dish from this restaurant.

This place serves the best Rajasthani thali.<br/><br/>They have about 4 varieties of thali. <br/>We asked them to serve a mixed menu. They happily served us all the items across various of them.<br/><br/>The rajasthani thali had even the dal batti churma which damm tasty. The chutney given in that spicy and very tasteful. <br/><br/>Will surely visit again!!

Honeydew was having some good reviews. So I wanted to try from this restaurant.<br/><br/>Chicken lollipop and burnt garlic fried rice was the order I made from here.<br/><br/>Chicken lollipop was crispy and yummy.<br/>Burnt garlic fried rice was delicious.

This place is quite famous in the city especially for the non veg food. One of my favourite dish from this place is honey chilli potato. It's so tasty.<br/><br/>Ambiance was good.<br/>Will surely come again.<br/>Highly recommended.

I ordered one Rajasthani thali from honeydew and this thali was awesome and was pure home made thali. It was packed well with none of the dish coming out of the box.<br/><br/>The fantastic thali was this and it can be tried while during your lunch.

One veg 65 and one paneer tikka was the latest order from my end. I am happy to find a place with so many tasty dishes in their menu.<br/><br/>I will be ordering more of this kind of dishes soon from here as my birthday is just round the corner and all kinds of starters serve the best in all.

Since I like chinese dishes too much so ordering veg manchurian was the most important dish for me. I ordered two plates and it costed me not much.<br/><br/>Also, it was packed well to keep the food hot. The sauces used to prepare the manchurian was also nice and very very tasty.

Frequent Visitor, Food is Good - the Paneer Butter Masala was full of flavor, Friendly Staff, Slightly Expensive, Place is Neat & Clean, Ambiance though is not good.

One veg thali was the most recent order from Honeydew. I chose this place as on top of the menu list only I found the thali.<br/><br/>The place was also having good reviews on it and so I prefered ordering that. Rajasthani thali was also there which I ordered for my friend.

I came across the food ordering outlet and that was for Honeydew. The veg special thali was the order I made for because this was the simplest order I could have without thinking a lot.<br/><br/>The taste of this entire thali was awesome and contained so many things in the plate. Recommended thali option is from here.

After waking up in the evening I feel like having some chatpata and I ordered honey chilli potato from this place. obviously it was too tasty and was also very reasonably costed.<br/><br/>The taste was also such that I will be remembering this honey chilli for a longer time.

I like sizzlers but this is not my first choice until I am aware if they have a quality in the food. I ordered one chicken sizzler and the food that they served was in a good manner and nothing just mingled in any other food.<br/><br/>I liked the sauted vegetables which was increasing the taste of the food.

One mushroom crispy chilly and one paneer tikka was the order I made for myself and for my roomie. The paneer is not much liked by me but this was prepared so well that I had the dish and enjoyed having it.<br/><br/>The taste of both the starters were good and worth a try.

Honey dew was also having chicken sizzler and many other sizzlers as well but this time I ordered this. The chicken was damn tasty.<br/><br/>The dish was a complete one for my lunch and this is the sizzler I have been waiting for since a long long time. Finally I found this here at HoneyDew. A great place for chicken dishes.

I ordered one rajasthani thali from Honey dew and this was the first order I made from honey dew. The taste of this thali was a great one. The thali was having all the good taste of Rajasthan.<br/><br/>The price was also very very pocket friendly and so it was the order I chose.

From all the dishes in the menu list of honeydew, veg chinese sizzler is the best one. The taste of chinese flavour was in it and was in abundance.<br/><br/>The price was also fine and the sizzler could be packed so well I was not at all aware and I was scared that the dish might get spoiled by ordering online, but it was very great.

People who are ordering food online, I would suggest ordering food from Honeydew. I am saying this because I have ordered from so many places, but the best quality of food was here only,<br/><br/>Not much spices and neither too oily were the dishes here. My personal favoruite is chicken biryani.

This was my first visit to Ajmer and also my first order from Honeydew. I found some good menu list there and finally ordered one tomato soup and one lemon rice from there.<br/><br/>I can say that the soup was hot when delivered and even the lemon rice was too yummy.

I was willing to have some rolls and the Honeydew was the only place which was delivering food on time I mean withing 10 minutes.<br/><br/>I ordered chicken roll for me and one paneer roll for my sister. We both loved the rolls, Stuffing was nice and tasty. Sauces used were also fresh ones.

For my breakfast I had no choice from my nearby restaurants and even I was not known of their taste. Honeydew was having some very good reviews.<br/><br/>I ordered one veg club sandwich. The sandwich was also a tasty one and I enjoyed having it for my breakfast.

I ordered one burnt garlic fried rice. As was the name same was the taste. The burnt garlic taste was in abundance making the rice too good.<br/><br/>The rice was in good quantity and since I liked it too much I finished it off myself the whole food.

pav bhaji from Honey Dew is a must try and specially in the breakfast. The bhaji was a tasty bhaji among all the good food.<br/><br/>The price that they have set for all the foods were nice and quite reasonable. Everyone can try out the food from here and enjoy.

I ordered fish finger for the first time and I was surprised that this dish could be so tasty as well.<br/><br/>Usually I do not like fish too much but after seeing the review I made an order for this. A must try fish dish was this.

I like sizzlers too much. I found in their menu that veg sizzlers was available and without wasting any time I just ordered it. I was missing the smoke just coming out of it because it was online order but the taste was in it as required.<br/><br/>Will order again

<br/>I would suggest ordering chicken lollipop from here and the reason is no different, it is only because it has freshness in the taste of all the chicken they had used.<br/><br/>The sauces are also so good and so the real taste of the food was in it.

I visited this place with my friends for lunch yesterday.<br/><br/>We ordered<br/>Veg Sizzlers,<br/>Paneer chilly,<br/>Veg 65,<br/>Schezwan fried rice,<br/>Mushroom noodles.<br/><br/>The quantity of the food was really good.<br/>Service was quick.

They have good variety of south indian dishes to have it as breakfast. I loved to have south indian dishes so over here i tried their mysore masala dosa. The dosa was so nice. It had the gravy of mysore masala which was medium spicy. The dosa was big in size with lots of masala in it and served with chutney

I was craving for South indian food and my friend suggested me to order from honeydew as they serves the best Idli sambar.<br/><br/>Idlibhar and masala dosa was the order I made from here.<br/>Idli was so soft and sambar was like heaven.<br/>Masala dosa was just lip smacking!!!

I had ordered roti ki tokri, butter naan, malai kofta and paneer shahi for lunch.<br/><br/>Malai kofta was well prepared.<br/>Paneer shahi was tasty.<br/>Loved the food.<br/>Will surely order again.

Ordered cheese sandwich and cheese burger from this place. Both were amazing. The sandwich was good with mint chutney spread on breads with mixed vegetables and some cheese on it and the burger was also very good in taste .

Worst experience ever, they didn't even served our order we had to leave half stomach, no fingerbowl was given and even washbasin didn't have water<br/>Never recommended
