Halais Restaurant - Alappuzha - Photo album

Lovely ambience at this place and pretty good food to. I had the Chicken biriyani (full) which is more than enough for a person and also tried the fish curry meals both of which were an absolute delight. They also have a store where they sell imported products. Do visit and check it out.
Located at CCSB Road, Near South Police Station, Alappuzha, Halais Restaurant is one of the oldest in town &one of the best restaurants in Alleppey. They serve Vegetarian,Seafood, Indian, Asian &Middle Eastern Cuisines. The restaurant environment is comfortable and suitable for gatherings of friends
Chicken Biriyani was awesome. Rate is very high. Chicken mandhi and the side dips were fantastic. Quantity and quality is high. But the service from the waiters very pathetic. Recieved dishes very late.
If you are in Alappuzha(Alleppey) and you are a biriyani lover, then this is the place. One of Best Biriyani in Kerala. I have many childhood memories of this establishment because it has always been legendary for its biryani. I will suggest chicken and mutton Biriyani
Taste was nice and good. Kari mean was awesome. Chicken biryani was good little sweet.
Just the Biriyani you want on a hungry afternoon. The beef was tender, 3 pieces in total. The rice was jeerakasala and was well cooked, bit oily but the aroma and taste doesn't disappoint. Along with a fresh lime soda, it proved to be a worthy and satisfying lunch. I was actually looking forward to
I go there with my friends very good food they do everything but very good cooperation and very good restaurant to go with friends and family
A retro style restaurant in Alappuzha. I think they serve the best Biriyani in town. Quite humble on the service part. A small store combined with the restaurant. We had their signature Biriyani and a 'mohabbat ka sharbat' which was amazing.
Good experience of tasty food. Veg options are less but try creamy veg Korma and Tea with parottas. Its just tasty veg and non veg experience.
We loved Halais. Great biryani and welcoming staff plus the place felt clean and well organised - it was the best food we had in Allepey. We reccomend to any visitors!
I tried their chicken mandi, it tasted different from usual mandi , yet it was good. There were a ton of dates pickle on the table, which was really fantastic.
Went to Halais based on the reputation. It’s located inside their bakery and parking is an issue. Still, managed to get a spot. The Beef biryani is just above average, nothing special. I had ordered tea along with it which was great.
