Review El Chico - Allahabad

We are regular customers of El chico for the past 18 years and seen this place evolve beautifully. You get best quality of bakery n cakes n all other related things in the whole town. I just love this place.

To begin with El Chico has been my second home as I am a very regular customer there since childhood. The new renovated El Chico is definitely a must visit in town. Beautiful interiors and Lovely ambience and classy vibes. Coming to staff they are extremely friendly and will take good care of you. I love the fact that one old uncle is still there who knows me well since childhood afterall he is there since 30 years. Even the owner will be on his toes to make sure that you are having a pleasant experience. Now coming to food, so if you are someone pure Allahabadi you will definitely feel a change in taste as it doesn't meet up to the previous standards specially the Chinese but if you are newbie in town or not a frequent visitor you might find it good. El Chico has a legacy and me as a customer looks forward to same old taste and nostalgia.

Great taste. Well if we talk about price, yes it's a bit higher byt when you taste it's all worth it. But we have to wait for long time.

Tried their bakery section. One of the best in the city and probably among the best in our country. The variety of bakeries they provide and the quality they maintain is astonishing. Choco lava cake the favourite till now for me. Their dining section serves one of the best non veg foods in Prayagraj ( I haven't tried veg options but are expected to be good). Must tries are the different sizzlers ( special recommended Fish sizzler with grilled sole fish). Mutton biryani is delicious. The usual roti and indian curries are also good.

Just don't order sandwich or pizza or choco lava it was pathetic It was really good to hangout with your friend's family or date.

Had lunch in Veggie Restaurant in the First Floor. Food was awesome. Lucknow style Basket Chaat was great!

One of the finest place to dine in Prayagraj. Place is comfortable, cozy and the ambience is good. Their service is also good. Taste of the food is delicious but the budget is a bit higher than the usual places. This is because of the ambience they provide. Their Indian food is amazing. Chinese is also good to go.

This place is best overall for family dine . Greeting was awesome and then we were taken by lift to third floor , omg so classy look all over the place , restaurant feels so roomy and spacious . Servers were well mannered giving greeting , knows well about food option and provide suggestions and asks question & very friendly . Manager at this place came twice at our desk and made sure best services are provided . Price …average food cost is about 800 per person !! Affordable option !! Food here are very good . Food presentation is ,area they can improve but big deal provide price point and location . Good ambiance , delicious food , good service ,Hi5 to all staff !!! Please share this with your staff all the way to chef !! This place have many spot for good pictures . Adding some pics to show restaurant is classy and roomy . I do not take food pics but can tell you will love look and taste .

Food is tasty , atmosphere is vibrant & location is superb , service is fast … many varieties in the menu … some of the new dishes we tried like lotus root stir fried & many … perfect for photography.. they have seprate terrace section which opens in night only…

Nice restaurant in the heart of the city with good quality foods. They have ample space. The ambience is also fantastic.

The food fails to match the interiors however, the cakes and pastries we bought for takeaway were amazingly good. Even the whole wheat bread was delicious. In fact, it's freshness amazed me.

Had two lunch meal..so cudnt sit in their fine dine as it's operational after 7 pm. Good economic food.. lavish bakery items..had lemon tart after lunch.. awesome experience..i felt only place in allahabad if want to go out.

I ordered this scrumptious choco eclairs and it was truly amazing. The ambience, the food everything about the place is good. Strongly recommend visiting this bakery if you are in the city.

Amazing place, although i tried bakery items only.. But they were actually good. Rich flavor and high baking skills could be observed.. Staff is professional but cooperative - not easy to find. The restaurant and terrace are also quite decent. Overall i loved visiting here and will be back again..
