Driver took us to this restaurant in Allahabad during our trip to the City. Had some difficulty in getting the parking as it is a roadside parking only. Got the tables quickly and ordered for South Indian Meal and. Sambar Rice. They serve sambar and rice separately while our expectation was the mixed sambar rice. Also accompaniment was papad and pickle and not any curry varieties. Four poories, one bowl of rice, sambar, rasam, curd and pineapple kesari was part of the thali along with one veg gravy. Food was decent.

It is near Kamla Nehru Hospital, The ambience was good 👍 food was fine a bit on the oily side, Hygiene was good, washrooms were clean. I had hakka noodles and onion rawa masala dosa, it was served hot. It is the only good restaurant near the hospital.

This is vegetarian restaurant near Balson crossing Prayagraj. Car parking is always an issue here. Most likely you will have to wait before you dine. However, quality of food is best among all veg restaurants here. I have visited several times and never got disappointed. You may try cream mushroom soup, Butter masala dosa, Coconut rawa masala dosa.

This restaurant is renowned for its South Indian Dosai. As a Sri Lankan, I share a similar culinary heritage and can attest to the superior quality of the Dosai here compared to other local establishments. However, I must candidly express that the pricing at this restaurant is on the higher side. Given its upscale nature, this is to be expected. While there may not be many South Indian restaurants that can compete with this one in terms of quality, one might question the choice of South Indian cuisine when visiting North India. It's all part of the culinary adventure, isn't it?

A very busy place means it has to be good. Very good quality food. I'm from Bangalore and restaurants here are generally of high quality.. this restaurant was of the same quality in terms of food and service..the toilets are well kept. The food was very tasty. They even had a high chair for my 3 year old..it's a rare provision in Indian restaurants.

Visited Prayag for sangam. And searched for best restaurant in city and my search ended with Sagar Ratna. Located in middle of the city and huge sitting area on ground floor & first floor as well. Staff was good. Tried few starters & Punjabi Sabji and roti, laccha Paratha and Dal Tadka, Jeera Rice. Everything was too good. Except butter milk. Don't know why all these restaurant charging 100 -150 for simple butter milk. Otherwise everything was good.

Nice place, good ambience. Mysore Masala Dosa is good. You will like paper dosa as well. Mango punch was fine. What is specific to this place is the chutneys that they serve with dosa, along with the conventional sambhar and coconut chutney. These chutneys are apt to compare with icing on a cake, which doubles its taste.

शुद्ध शाकाहारी। बैठ के खाने के लिए उत्तम जगह परंतु जाने से पहले सीट अवश्य बुक करवा लें अन्यथा वहाँ आपको इंतेज़ार करना पड़ सकता है और शनिवार-रविवार को तो आधा घंटा भी क़तार में लगा रहना पड़ सकता है पर वो आधे घंटे भी भूल जाएँगे जब आप यहाँ के लज़ीज़ पकवानों का सेवन करेंगे। पर भोजन पकाने में समय लगता हैं यहाँ, कम से कम 15 तो ले ही लेते हैं ये अपने रसोईं से आपकी मेज़ तक भोजन पहुँचाने में।

Based on rating, ordered food for home delivery and it was a huge disappointment. Food - ordered tawa roti, jeera aloo and paneer roganjosh. Tawa roti looked stale and sad. Jeera aloo had a taste and appearance that I had never seen before. Paneer was too oily and had no taste. For the first time, felt the need for a negative rating option.

The name itself reminds me of my time in Delhi, where this name was synonymous for our cravings of South Indian food. Back to the joint in Allahabad. The decor gives the same feel of the franchise. Staff is helpful, though a little slow. Again, variety is good, same as elsewhere. But where exactly it stands out compared to other popular South Indian joints in Allahabad is the taste. Here, in my opinion, you get more authentic taste and feel from the food as compared to others in the city. It does justice to the dishes. Additionally, when we look at offerings in other cuisines, it doesn't disappoint. A recommended place for vegetarian food cravings, esp South Indian.

This place feels like home. With the ambience being an exact copy of a proper South Indian restaurant, the food served is wholesome and amazing. A favourite place to go for a good breakfast. My favourites are the Kanchipuram idli along with the Dahi idli. The chutneys and sambar served alongside the idlis are true and authentic to their taste. The filter coffee, served in true South Indian fashion, is the perfect amount and taste. I would definitely rate the experience a 5/5. A must visit place.

Recently i joined in a food meet held at sagar ratna . The food presented and dishes were outstanding being a hardcore non vegetarian my first preference is always non.veg. But here at sagar ratna i had a fine dining experience...Quality and quantity served here is equally good. I visited this place recently for a family dinner. The restaurant has pleasant ambience and polite staff. More importantly, the food was very delicious. My only concern is that the quantity of dishes served for the amount charged was a bit on the smaller side, which is just another way of calling it an expensive restaurant. I have been going to this place since ages. Even though the restaurant serves only vegetarian food offering North Indian, South Indian (speciality, dosa is a must try), Chinese and Continental food. Earlier their food quality was really good but now I find that some of the dish tastes average. Casual dining restaurant, ideal for all age group. Efficient staff. But sometimes the place is highly crowded. Pricing range from average to slight expensive depending upon the dish. Note: they also provide home delivery.
