I recently dined at this amazing restaurant, and I was thoroughly impressed. The ambience is truly beautiful, and the fact that they have a lift available for dining on two floors is a fantastic convenience. The open area is a lovely touch, and the service is nothing short of amazing. The food exceeded my expectations; in particular, the lasagne, veg pizza, and white sauce spaghetti were incredibly delicious. Don't miss trying their dal – it's exceptional, and kudos to the chef for that! The aesthetic of this place is a treat for the eyes, and their rooftop dining area is simply breathtaking. The fairy light decor adds a magical touch to the ambiance. The best part? It's not just beautiful; it's also great value for money, especially when dining in a group (dutching). Highly recommended!

A highly recommended for all my aesthetic people. Food was really amazing. Flat bread pizza is a must try. I was shocked that watever we ordered continental and Indian the food is worth every penny. Hats off to the chef. The ambiance is beautiful. I appreciate how much thought they have given to even bring out the best looks in smaller of the places. Washroom ws really really small though but its ok. service was slow. Must visit there rooftop for aesthetic pics. They can work upon music for the place. Overall must visit especially with friends.

The ambiance is stunning both indoors and outdoors sitting area, especially with the enchanting lighting at night. The sitting areas are beautifully designed. Regarding the food, the flatbreads were delightful, and the chicken tikka was delicious. However, the lehsuni paneer tikka fell short in taste. For the main course, both the chicken Kali mirch and paneer butter masala were enjoyable. While the taste was satisfying, the service was notably slow. Improving the service would complement the excellent food experience.

Wonderful experience-good place for meet ups,dates- good quality food for decent prices- mostly it is housefull so it is recommended to reserve a table. Mushroom truffle soup, mudpie are the best

Very nice place to dine out in Civil lines Prayagraj. Though they specialize in Continental, various Indian regional dishes from Andhra, Tamilnadu, Kerala, Bengal etc. are quite good. With limited seating facilities, the place offers a sophisticated and calm atmosphere. The price is a little on the higher side but the quality as well as quantity combined justifies the price.

It was as i thought it should be, i love it there. It was so beautiful atmosphere..i ordered aglio e olio & vanila milkshake....both are delicious but aglio e olio was not to my taste...i mean i was good but i just like spicy, salty type of foods so but i ordered it cause i always wanted to try it and it taste doesn't bad ..it was good & milkshake was refreshing and tasty 😋 over all i was comfortable there and i went with my cousin..she treated me..it was her birthday 🎂 so nice 👍

Dynamite Cottage Cheese: The paneer was soft and succulent, beautifully coated in a tangy, spicy sauce that had just the right kick. The peppers and onions added a crunchy contrast, making every bite a harmonious blend of flavors and textures. 4. Palak Patta Chaat: The crispy spinach leaves formed a perfect base, contrasting beautifully with the tangy tamarind and creamy yogurt drizzles. 5. Tomato 3 Cheese and Basil Flat Bread: The crust was perfectly golden with a gentle crunch, giving way to a soft, airy interior. The melted cheese atop was a match made in heaven with the aromatic basil, offering a beautiful dance of savory and herbal notes. 6. Burmese Chicken Khao Suey: The coconut milk broth was rich and velvety, with a harmonious blend of spices that hit all the right notes. Tender pieces of chicken added depth, while the accompanying garnishes of fried garlic, peanuts, and fresh coriander allowed for a customizable experience. 7. Hoisin Lamb with Omurice: The lamb, tender and succulent, was glazed with a rich hoisin sauce paired with the Omurice, a fluffy omelette resting on a bed of savory rice, had a delightful balance of sweet and savory. 8. Kerala Egg Roast: The curry was aromatic, with robust spices that enveloped the perfectly boiled eggs. The rich, tangy tomato base complemented the subtle heat from the curry leaves and mustard seeds, making every bite a flavor explosion. The Malabar Parotta, with its flaky layers and crispy exterior, was the ideal accompaniment, soaking up the curry's goodness. Can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. The ambience of the cafe is very nice. The food is decent, still expensive as compared to most other things in Prayagaraj but then it is also a rare fancy cafe in Civil Lines.

Food is really really good. The ambience is really beautiful. Good for clicking pictures. Staff is really nice. Good service, must visit at least once. One of the best places in Allahabad to grab continental/ Pan-asian cuisines. A wide assortment of dishes, especially for non-vegetarians. Beautiful interiors and good ambience. The best part though happens to be their portion size. It's easily enough for 2 people. Good service.

I ate poached prawn sushi and shepherd's pie. Both were on point. The ambience, goes without saying it is beautiful both the restaurant and terrace area. The staff is a little off putting. And they don't have many options from one specific cuisine to choose from. But are definitely trying their hands on different things to introduce a new taste to the town.

Extremely good! The moment you enter the restaurant on the first floor you are greeted with a fine ambience. And this is Eden's USP. The restaurant is tastefully done and is very articulate in decor. Anybody will be impressed. Now food. It's second to none. The tables are well organised, furniture is comfortable, cutlery is good and the service courteous; perfect basics to enjoy your dinner on an outing. The menu card is elaborate though the colours used in printing make it not-easy-to read at times. Dim lighting makes the reading even more difficult. They should take care with better font selection and the colours. Try something different, particularly chicken, fish or prawn. I'm sure you will not be disappointed. We ordered vegetable Thai curry-- green that comes with steamed rice. Superb, I would say. By the way there was more gravy in the bowl with lesser vegetables. Broccoli and mushroom pieces were very small. I also expected more of veggies like pasta, beans and carrots added to it. In fact, I wanted to enjoy some veggies in every bite. I had ordered chicken ghee roast. It tasted extremely good. Chicken was cut into small pieces pieces which were served in a small bowl. The gravy was quite thick with soft, succulent boneless pieces of chicken. My only complaint is quantity which was less than expected. I also ordered Amritsari fish fried. Awesome. Despite all goodness I felt there was some smell in fish though my wife didn't agree. When in Allahabad don't forget to come to this outlet which is in Civil Lines locality. Yes, you may have to order a little bit more if you are very hungry. By all means I am impressed mainly because they make you feel very comfortable. By the time you order the food and it arrives on your table you are fully relaxed, engrossed in conversation and therefore less likely to pay attention to smaller issues like quantity, water quality etc. Highly recommended for people who love soft ambience, good food, peaceful environment and comfortable seating which is supported by tasty dishes.

This place was magical. Firstly, you lost with the lighting. Get beautiful photos with your friends and loved one . They have both roof top and basement sections. <br/> When we came to know about food , was average, prices are extremely high , taste was ok , presentation was normal . <br/>Service was little slow . Staff was good.

Mutton Kastoori Kebab<br/>This is the most tender, velvety and succulent mutton kabab I've tasted. Being a mutton lover, I was awestruck by its taste. Once you get through the outer layers, the inner layer is cheesy and the flavours melt in the mouth to create an intoxicating heady feel.

As usual, Eden by Connoisseur never disappoints. Inspite of ordering late at night, the order reached before time. The food was as good in taste as in looks. The bhoot jolokia chicken with Tingmo bread is my favourite from their menu. The spiciness of the chicken is balanced well by the bread.<br/>My kids love their shepherd's pie . Although they missed the potato mash on top this time. <br/>Overall, the restaurant has high standards and is highly recommended for home delivery.

It was not good at all , quantity and the chicken pieces were very small , there gravy was full of cream and that's it. Overall it was not what I've expected.

Huge fan of Eden, its food, the restaurants' vibe and particularly the way its been done up - with its airy interiors, beautiful decor and an all-out relaxed vibe on the terrace. The menu is so fresh. Its focus on seasonality, experimentation, and sourcing delicious fresh produce is what made me go back to Eden multiple times during my stay in Allahabad. The menus' designed to share and enjoy together; the portions are generous - so go with a friend and/or a family member. The palak patta chaat, betel leaf mutton roll, melt-in-the-mouth kakori kebabs, and bhoot jolokhia chicken were downright delicious. Go for the mango golgappa, it's a perfect spring/ summer Indian dessert. Eden exceeds itself with every plate - every course is delicious - a culinary delight.

Travelling through this city i was just browsing through the restaurants to visit and it was a lucky find<br/>Hidden treasure in the heart of the city<br/>It is inside the Samrat Hotel.<br/>I went for lunch though I saw a lot of interesting options in the menu i ordered Hazelnut Cold Coffee,Bhut Jolokia Chicken and Pana Cota......And each one was just better than the other .<br/>Ambience was too awesome.Quaint place.<br/>And the staff is very very courteous.<br/>Just 1 thing I saw in the menu that really caught my eyes.....Mango Golappa..... Hidden treasure of taste in the heart of the city with excellent ambience. At first sight I didn’t believe how I never noticed such a beautiful place. Peaceful and soothing environment my night as it was very special. Apart from ambience the food was superb and the presentation was also good, the staff looks naive but good on hospitality side. I give it more than 5* an suggest everyone to try it once.

My visit to Eden was a date night after ages. And thank god i chose it. The food was amazing. Its really hard to come by places where they actually serve what they mention in their menus and Eden did just that. The menu, taste, presentation and ambience... all of it top notch. Special mention to the dimsums they served. Very intricate flavour with such a delicate skin. It was beyond perfect and finally a place in allahabad where i can get panna cotta. Loved dining there and can’t wait for the next time. Only regret is that they are not on zomato delivery.

I ordered the chicken Tetrazzini and the Spinach cream flat bread. Both were delicious and the overall quantity was reasonably sufficient for two people. For the price however the Tetrazzini could have been slightly larger. The ambience is nice and the staff are courteous.

One of the best places I have been in recent times. This place has re install my faith of being served authentic dishes with perfect blend of flavours in the city called Allahabad where this is rare to find. Thanks to the high rating I decided to give this place a try during a 2 hour stopover in Allahabad.... And thank the food gods for that. Tried 3 items and one better than the other - hazlenut cold coffee, penang prawn dim sums and spice chicken sausage flat bread. The cool ambience with a fantastic view of a small terrace garden is the cherry on the cake. Definitely recommended.

I ordered chilli potato, it was a perfect balance of spices, & it was nice and crisp, they took 20 mins to get it on my table, staff was so nice, im gonna rate it 5 out 5 in terms of privacy and service, but they took it long, because i remember we're waiting eagerly, and it was much more than other food joints, and we were the only customer. EDEN by Connoisseur is a revamped version of Connoisseur Restaurant with contemporary interiors and newly curated menu. It has been redesigned as a Cafe keeping in mind the prevalence of Cafe culture in today's food business. The place has become quite popular among the foodies of Allahabad after this overhaul. The fascinating pictures of food by fellow foodies on Instagram and praiseworthy reviews drew me to this place.<br/><br/>I happened to visit Eden for dinner. The moment I entered, first thing I saw was a wall garden on the left. There were plant pots, bird houses and grass producing an extremely soothing effect to the eyes. There was a spiral stairs in the garden that led to the rooftop seating. Since rooftop was booked for a party, I took a seat indoor. The indoors had vibrant interiors with lively cream colored walls, turquoise chairs and lamps and ample lighting to fill the room. Each and everything matched the interiors - the fans, the wall potraits, the table pieces and every other thing. The interiors were so designed as to lift one's spirits.<br/><br/>Much talk about the interiors and the ambience, jumping over to the food. I ordered one dish each for starter, main course and dessert. For starters I ordered Spicy Chicken Dimsums. Fresh juicy chicken wrapped in thin translucent covering and perfectly cooked. They tasted great with Schezwan sauce except for the fact that chicken had a bit too much salt for my taste. The excess salt kind of ruined otherwise perfect dimsums. For the main course I ordered Bolognese Lasagna. It was served hot and fresh in a pan along with two pieces of Garlic Bread. The Lasagna was prepared in traditional Lamb Bolognese sauce and loads of cheese. It was meaty, it was tangy, it was saucy, it was spicy and it was cheesy. It was exceptionally good in tarse. And for the end to the meal the dessert - Panna Cota. There was slight twist to this Panna Cotta - it was a Mango Panna Cota. It had perfect consistency, brilliant taste and excellent presentation. It was just the perfect way to end the meal.<br/><br/>Overall it was a fantastic experience. Perfect ambience for unwinding, delectable food and congenial staff. This is a must try in Allahabad.<br/><br/>

Incredible food and staff is pleasantly surprising in terms their capabilities to handle the front end. All in all the best experience that once can have in India. The selection of menu is outstanding.

Ordered chicken ghee roast and chicken pasanda ...both were not in good taste (used coconut oil) as we expected as I had tried ghee roast in Mangalore and it was best chicken dish I have eaten so far. Chicken Pasanda was more looking and tasted like momos and not good at all.

Getting here was tough, situated inside a narrow lane with no parking facility. As you enter you have two Choices, Indoor or the Outdoors. You can sit downstairs as well as upstairs. This place will attract you by its coolest Ambience, but the best is yet to come. Food when served professionally adds to the taste. This place is best for a change into Continental cuisines but I personally feel they have a very limited menu. They fail to mix up continental choices with Indian dishes properly like The Old School Cafe does.

Great place to dine at or order whenever your taste buds crave perfection. All the food that I tried was out of this world. Special mention to the chocolate nutella brownie with that amazing vanilla ice cream to balance out the brownie's richness with those walnut crumbs on top. Overall, it's a revolution in the restaurant scene in Prayagraj. Food is definitely value for money.

Best ambience a place can have, calm and soothing. Subtle lighting, soft music and peace. The entrance is hidden though but it's a perfect place for a couple or family to eat out. For long El Chico has been the top rated restaurant in Allahabad (oops Prayagraj), however now it has a run for its money. I travel to Allahabad with my family once/twice a year. This time we decided to try out Eden by Connoisseur. I was pleasantly surprised by the ambience, wide variety of menu and the quality of the continental dishes served. The flat breads, continental and pan Asian cuisines were all fantastic. I recommend this place highly.

Eden has ticked all the boxes when its come to ambience, courtsey staff and food. The hot brownie with vanilla ice cream was exemplary.. A place to come back over and over again.. Kudos to the management and staff.

Eden is an absolute delight! True to it's name, the restaurant transports into a world of absolute serenity and tranquility, interrupted only by the arrival of delicious, beautifully cooked food. Loved the Palak patta chaat, Haleem, flatbreads and desserts. Will be back soon!

From authentic menu and amazing self innovated delicacies, to courteous staff and breathtaking interiors its an answers to every foodies prayer out there. The interiors have been given more of a modern touch of white ivory walls , beautiful paintings, 💫and succulents which is like a fresh breath of air !! Great hospitality! It is one of the many things this place has to offer. It is a new restaurant and, though in civil lines, yet you have a hard time finding it as it is not located in the main road and they haven't started advertising it the way they should.<br/>Now coming to the offerings, this place looks so quaint as soon as one enters with a charm of its own. This place has something on offer for everyone, couples, friends or family. They have got great Asian food and some really good appetizers in the menu. Lots of photogenic presets, unlikely hustle bustle of the conventional cafes, and the whole setting of the place along with some soothing melody will truly make your evening a great one. The very new Eden by Connoisseur has to be the most different, gorgeous and one of the best restaurants in Allahabad. <br/>I visited this with my family and it offers a variety of tastes, nicely prepared and isn’t hard on your wallet. <br/>What I tasted:<br/>1. Pasta (Arrabbiata) is a treat for lovers of spice. Recommend it for the great cook. 5/5<br/>2. Hot Coffee, is served in a classic coffee and sugar beated-style. Must have. 5/5<br/>3. Veg Mushroom Soup: I am neither a fan of soups nor mushrooms, so just had a taste of it. A must visit place for foodies. Delicious food, beautiful place and courteous staff. <br/>Smoked Dal makhni is a must try. <br/>The only problem is that the entrance is not visible from the main road but that does not really matter as long as they keep serving such amazing food.

Before Eden, there used to be Connoisseur, which was not a bad restaurant by any means. It seems that Connoisseur was revamped and was changed to Eden. Eden is definitely better than Connoisseur in all departments. It has better ambience, a newer menu with even more gourmet dishes which will definitely please the connoissuer in you. Prices might seem high considering that the portion sizes are slightly smaller compared to other places. Taste does not disappoint. Worth visiting with your friends and family.

I had visited the restaurant with friends, and was greeted by a beautiful wall garden, with shades of blue, green and white on the walls. The restaurant was quaint and lovely, the decor brilliantly set across the room. <br/>Our order was for a Penne Arabiata pasta, that came along with garlic breadsticks, and a flat bread that had mushrooms, spinach and tomatoes. The food was filling, though the quantity can fool you. It was fresh, and delicious, and we ate every bit of of it. <br/>I would rate the food a 4.5/5, as the flat bread was a little too bland for my taste. The pasta was beautiful.<br/>The decor would be given a rating of 5/5.<br/>Overall experience: 5/5

Well, they have done a fantastic job! They have brought a fresh concept of Garden Dining in Prayagraj aka Allahabad and have taken that to an all new level. They have made a really exotic menu, bringing selected, but, really wonderful dishes. I was really impressed by the staff and their presentation of dishes. The only thing I found out of place was their taste of food. I just could have get it better at some other place, given the upscale price they are charging. I ordered Goan mushroom Croquettes, which tasted like any normal cutlet. I had Khau Suey, which though was good, but then I made it taste according to me after adding the complimentary items served with it. Then I had Veg Lasagna, which I specifically told them to keep spicy, but they brought it bland and normal and I was indeed disappointed. Full marks for the place and staff and the menu, but I surely missed the taste!<br/>But, hey! the place is highly recommended. I hope you will find your own good taste.

Eden has ticked all the boxes when it comes to Ambience, Courteous Staff, Food. The Nihari was exemplary. The Rajputaana Jungli Mutton is a must have. A place to come back over and over again. Kudos to the management and Staff.

Fantastic food! I’m so happy to see Allahabad finally get a new restaurant that has both, an amazing ambience and supremely delicious food. Must try the Nihari, mutton fry with malabari paratha, spaghetti bolognese (best I’ve had !!) and the panacotta. From crockery to walls to decor to indoor seating to garden area, everything compliments each other and is so pleasant to eyes.<br/>If you're a crowd conscious person then congratulations you got a gem in Allahabad.<br/><br/>Menu is limited and well curated, they got dishes which other place in Allahabad doesn't.<br/>I have had Spaghetti Bolognese(yumm), Lasagna Bolognese, Bhut Jolokia Chicken(too yumm), North East Goat Roast.<br/>In Dimsums I had Cheese and Chestnut Dimsums(most fav), Penang Prawns, Chicken Green Thai Basil Dimsums and Spinach wrapped Prawn Dimsums with Black Beans sauce.<br/>In desserts I have tried Mango Golgappas, Panna Cotta and Banoffee Pie (menu reads pie but it was served in a jar; didn't like the idea of Banoffee Jar cause it was difficult to get all layers in a single scoop)<br/>Everything I ever had there is exceptionally good some just stands out.<br/><br/>Price is tid expensive but the food and ambience does justice to it.<br/><br/>Service is good, staff is attentive and courteous.<br/><br/>Place is definitely worth a visit.

Felt like a breeze of fresh air when it comes to food in Allahabad. Starting from the food to the ambience to the crockery of this place, everything was amazing for me.. must try - cabbage crispies(my personal favourite) and specially the mango golgappa is to die for..<br/>Really happy to have have been introduced to such a cosy place..<br/>
