Exploring Akbar Fort was a captivating journey back in time to an era of grandeur and architectural brilliance. This historical gem offers an immersive experience into the legacy of Emperor Akbar and his architectural vision.
The fort's intricate design and massive walls are a testament to the engineering marvels of the past. Walking through the majestic gates and courtyards, I was awestruck by the scale and attention to detail that went into creating this masterpiece.
Set in the backdrop of the holy Prayag Sangam, this fort dates back to 1583.The fort is presently undergoing renovation and should be open to the public in due course of time.

The place was excellent from outside but unluckily the fort was closed on the day of my visit.
I had the sangam bath at the center of the river then went to Hanuman Mandir.
