Civil Lines is a Civil Lines neighborhood of Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is the upper-class central business district of the city and is famous for its urban setting, gridiron plan roads high rise buildings, offices, cafes, restaurants, hotels, malls, shopping complexes, theatres etc. Civil Lines was built in 1858 a few months after the end of the Rebellion of 1857, when around 600 Meo people were massacred by the British people in India for their alliance with the Indian Independence Movement activists and eight villages were seized to form a new township.During the early period of its development it was referred to as the White Town of the city as it was predominated by the British people and a very few Indians were allowed.

This is good palace specially for travellers because you can find buses from here for so many palaces

This is India's 15th biggest bus station. And 2nd biggest biggest in Uttar Pradesh.

Location of this Bus Depot is quite good. Resides in the heart of city. You can commute to most of the places right from here. Has numerous amount of buses for each and every root. It is also close to Railway Station which is a good thing too. Its pretty spacious so even after having so many buses at the same time; doesnt feel congested.

It was nice overall experience Civil Line Bus Stop comes under Uttar Pradesh Transport Department. I have experience from Allahabad to Varanasi and vice versa because many times I have travel from here to there between Varanasi and Allahabad so I personally know about buses and rules regarding this area and buses are always available from Allahabad to Varanasi and I think from Allahabad to any other places service would like this.

UPSRTC bus stand, here you can get frequent buses for nearby district like Lucknow, Varanasi, Faizabad, Sultanpur, Pratapgarh. Booking counter and help desk is also there. Infrastructure and facility needs to be improved.

Good and clean bus station With less vendors Good connectivity within state and to delhi also. Booking counter waiting area and food points are available. Locates inn heart of the city

If you are a traveling to Lucknow then avoid traveling by SCANIA as its A.C. is not upto mark and rate is same as VOLVO. I'd rather go by Janrath.

From their u can go any where..In all uttarpradesh and other states too.. u'll find their esaly restaurant and hotels,malls kisi.

It's a great place if you want to go for short distances with bus.
