Kareem's

Was initially trying to undersrand why this place has a ~3.6 rating on Google. 🟡GEM OF A PLACE. Came here after a spree of vegetarian days, and well, it was worth the wait. Decent location. Peaceful surroundings. Restaurant is well lit and decorated. Can visit with family, friends or eat alone occupying a corner table. Cheerful steward, always serving with a smile. 🟢Coming to the food- We tried the 🔺Gosht Shorba (Mutton Soup)- creamy, delicious soup with minced mutton that that fills your taste buds to the fullest. We could go on and on with this. 🫕 🔺Dil Pasand Sheikh Kabab (Mutton Sheikh Kabab)- Buttery, cooked to perfection, served with pudina chutney. Karim’s starters are a gem. 🥓 🔺For the main course we ordered Mutton Biryani Bahishti- Biryani cooked in spices that elevates the taste to the next level. Not the kind of Biryani one finds in dehi 6 Karims, or in Lucknow, or in Kolkata. Seemed like a close fusion between North and South style Biryanis. 2x mutton pieces in half bowl, 4x in full. 🍚 🔺Mutton Nihari- Though this is a breakfast delicacy, we were suggested to have it aa this complemented the Biryani well, and YES, it did. Cooked to perfection, the gravy was well spiced and foodgasm-ing. The meat was slow cooked and seemed to melt of in our mouth, giving the pallette something to savour about all along the way. 🥘 Food- 5/5 Service- 5/5 Ambience- 5/5 This place remains a bit vacant even on weekends. Surprising. But a must visit if youre dreaming of a non vegetarian blast of flavours!

Taking care of hunger pangs till as late as 4:00PM, Kareem's is a casual diningrestaurant serving Mughlai preparations. A highly-rated place, it is praised for its timely service and is a nice joint to visit when one is looking to satiate hunger pangs with tasty, hygienic food at nominal prices.

The location of the restaurant is good. The dining is very neat and clean. You get space to park your car. But we were surprised to note that there were very few customers even during the weekend. They have a good menu on veg as well as nonveg food items. However, the prices are reasonably high keeping mind about the location of the restaurant. This is not a pure vegetarian restaurant, so if you are a pure vegetarian you should avoid this place.

I used take away service. The chicken was a little tangy. Maybe the recipe . The order was ready quickly. But I still find Tunde lucknow better than this Karim's Allahabad. Delhi Karim's is far better than this one.

Good restaurant for non-veg lover's.
