Review Kokum Bistro - Amer

Great place to have a meal or to hangout as both cafe & restaurant is there. For drinks, had Kokum Sangria & Mango Lassi, both were really good. Ordered Dal-Baati with Gatte ki Sabji- taste was very nice- wnought for a person. The quantity of Daal was less though. Masala Baati was yum! Had masala dosa and it was really amazing. Interiors are good, place with a view- you can directly see the palace outside. Staff were really helpful. Overall good service.

I had visited this place after the tour of amer palace.. I ordered an oreo milkshake and a cold coffee. It tasted very good but I think it was a bit too high on the prices. It is actually not budget friendly. I paid 250 for the milkshake.

Such a lovely restaurant, with creative and delicious food, but no less lovely service. I loved it and it was a true surprise in the old city in Jaipur. I recommend this place :)

The Visit to this Place just happened accidentally, But Trust Me it was Worth Getting Into. Awesome Ambience, Good Taste Of Food, Polite Work Force and Pocket Friendly as well. I enjoyed the Lunch thoroughly. No Complaints as Such. The interiors were good as well.

Wonderful service, we were really looked after by the owner. Lovely food- fresh and homemade and beautiful presentation. Amazing for vegan and gluten free, so many options. I had the tastiest millet roti, which is so rare to find in Northern India! And I felt comfortable that she understood the severity of my allergy (Coeliac disease). The owner is a nutritionist and has a real understanding of gluten free and vegan, which is rare in India. Great location just minutes walk from the Amber Fort entrance. Would have given 5 stars if portion sizes were bigger and it was a bit cheaper.

We went here for a late lunch from Amer fort. The options are limited . we had lacha paratha and paneer lababdar combo and chole bhature and dal rice. one of us had garlic allergy but they couldn't provide any cooked food without garlic. We had a paneer sandwich as an alternative which was okay. The service was slow and seating space is limited.

Very clean and decent place. For big groups is the best. They can make nice salads with quinoa, tofu, avocado. Excellent service and they can make vegan and gluten free options also. After Amber, best option

I just have nice words for this restaurant. The staff could not be kinder, they were always trying to adapt to our needs and the pneer spoke perfectly English, something quite important. Also, the food and the prices could have not been better. Good quality for more than a competitive price

The food quality is very very bad had order some soup it was so terrible could eat more than a spoonful. They need to change the chef at the earliest. The service and ambiance is okay.

Came here because my parents know the owners and was blown away by the food! They have a variety of options which can seem intimidating but we had the dal-baati thali, sarson ka saag/makke ki roti, cheese spinach dosa and the chocolate dosa for dessert and absolutely everything was delicious! We weren't very hungry when we reached here and the portions are big but the food is surprisingly light. You feel full but not heavy at the end of the meal which is great! We're going to be in Jaipur for 3 days and will definitely be coming back here for at least one more meal. Also, if you sit outside or by the window, you get a lovely view of the Amer fort.

We had their North Indian thali
It was so healthy and filling, we asked them to customise it a bit for us and they did. We asked for extra servings for some items which they promptly gave without any extra charges.

We loved the food at Kokum Bistro and we would highly recommend this tastefully decorated family-run outfit. The menu is wide ranging menu to cater to different tastes and the service was second to none. The bistro is also ideally positioned for those wanting to taking a break before or after a visit to the famous Amber Fort. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Mouth soring food, service is too slow. Taste and service can be upgraded. Moreover we faced communication issues as well as few of the beverages weren't available.

This is my first review on Zomato and am glad that I am reviewing Kokum Bristo.

Recently visited this small cozy food heaven just opposite Haathi Stand Amber Fort with my family. Ordered South Indian and Italian (indeed a very strange mix). The food was finger licking and delicious. Amazed as to how they served two very different cuisines and they were just too good.

If visiting Amber Fort or passing through please give this place a try. It's worth it.

Very rarely does a restaurant ever evoke enough excitement in me to post a review - after years it's been Kokum Bistro. Quaint from outside, it's menu is one of the most interesting ones I have come across in my travels. Being a health nut I don't get very many options. But here there's an extensive range of varied cuisines with a healthful take to choose from. My favorite - their South Indian dishes. It's quite a contemporary spin with emphasis on lean, fresh, and organic fare -- while still keeping with Southern convention. I had 3 dishes - Quinoa Uttapam, Buckwheat Dosa Wrap, and Oats Idli -all delicious. Chutneys are made back at home by Ameeta, the co-owner/founder, and my condiment and spice-loving taste buds cannot thank her enough. It was wonderful sitting there after a thrilling walk through Amber Fort with a cup of ginger tea staring out at the turrets in the distance. Made by day. I will be coming back here to try out their entire menu!
Many thanks to Dhananjay for guiding me to this truly delightful eatery. Serendipity at its best indeed.

I was searching for a place to eat after hectic visit to amer fort and this place just made me forgot all the tiredness with its amazing home style food specially rajma chawal. Ordered veg noodles, cholle bhature, aloo puri , cold coffee, tea, grilled sandwich.

Everything was exactly home my mother makes, it was full on ghar ka khana types feel with service also being quick keeping in mind to the quantity we ordered.

Only thing which could make you think before going js the price, as it is a bit high, but again such a cafe at a tourist spot and nothing like such in its surroundings.

The food and the ambience is top notch. Both the quality and the taste of the food is excellent. One of the few very places in Jaipur where you could get an authentic taste of south Indian food.I needn't mention about north Indian food which is also very good.Whether you get into Amer fort or come out of it(it's near Elephant/Haathi stand)this place must be visited definitely to give a treat to your taste buds!!!

Kokum serves much more than just idlis and dosas. The food consist of an assortment of home style cooked south as well as North Indian. kokum bistro is a trailblazer for its effortless simplicity. Without any kitsch elements, it asserts its presence by putting good food over swanky looks and with healthy ingredients. The wooden tables in flower shape, paintings on wall and track light concept added pride in heritage. Service was prompt.
