A very good hotel. The parantha as usual was good and the best thing was we ordered a dosa and that too was perfect. We had pani puri and aloo tikki and both were just from heaven…. The taste of aloo tikki was so perfect… required spice, required warmness and the best crispness… 5* all for the aloo tikki only!! Must visit at the holy place…

The quality was pretty good and the food was tasty. The hotel was small and had very few seatings. The Dal makhani was delicious and the paneer gravy too. They also had a better tasting sambhar and Dosa than other North Indian hotels that serve south Indian food. The Chinese cuisine was also good.

Good place to eat, a little overpriced for Amritsar...! Few things that you must try is 1) Chole Tikki 2) paneer Kulcha 3) Noodles 4) Lemon soda ( overpriced at Rs 100)

I highly recommend eating at this place for at least once when you visit Amritsar. We ordered masala dosas, chow mein, tomato soup, cheese pizza and burger and was left in awe. It's not an everyday thing when everything you ordered at a restaurant tasted just as delicious. The prices were also pretty economical. A total bang for the buck.

We had simple brunch here after we visited The Golden Temple. The service was good. The food quality and portion are nice as well. Will definitely visit again when we are around the area.

Lots of comfortable seated located right near the golden temple. Big menu with Indian and Chinese food and a big milkshake selection. Staff also speaks English which was really helpful.

Nice food. But they do not accept CC. Please carry cash for most of the places in Amritsar

This is one of the oldest restaurant (small in size) very near Golden temple in Amritsar, it is very genuine in terms of food quality and prices. Owner of this place is very nice person. If you visit must try Paneer Pasanda.

After trying the old and famous Street food of amritsar. I decided to visit this place. It was nice just like any other resturant. We visited because my small cousin said hee wants to eats noodles. And eating noodles in amritsar is weird 😂. Food was good. I suggest you to only visit this place if you are not interested in the other famous places to eat in amritsar like kesar, brothes, kulvant etc.

Located in lane of Golden tample that's the opportunity of location.
Ordered for paratha & biryani got surprised to receive paratha without any chole/condiments that's in Amritsar where at all other locations you will find 2-3 complements along with paratha.
Biryani was sweet in taste ordinary customer service. Much better alternate options available in same lane.

Tasty food. Dal makhani was top notch. Nothing I have tasted so far. We had ordered for the iconic Amritsari kulcha, paneer Paratha and Lassi. The paneer was soft and succulent. Definitely worth the money.

If you went to Amritsar n still missed the Amritsari kulcha ,then your trip was still incomplete.
When late night hunger hits you ,the only place I found there serving was this Restaurant .
Located in the main Amritsar Market near Golden Temple,The ambience of this restaurant was really nice and meloncholic.
So I ordered amritsari Kulcha there n the golden bonanza was that the chhole was free with the kulcha. It costed 60 bucks .
The Kulcha was served with a large piece of butter melting on it making it look more yummier.
But most importantly if I talk about it's taste , it was stuffed well with potato n onion but salt was very low in food which affects it's taste although chhole were damn tasty.
If I rate the kulcha for me it's just ok,but restaurant is a place must to visit.

It’s a small restaurant in the middle of the bustling Town Hall right outside Golden Temple. The food we ordered was a punjabi thali and it was delicious. Full of flavors, simply and surprisingly budget friendly.

I landed into this place at peak hours with my family. We ordered South Indian and North Indian cuisines and we all loved it. Service is really quick, food is really delicious(we ended up ordering twice). The staff is really humble and I can't forget the owner has empathy for all peeps visiting. Though the place is really small, owner was happy to offer his seat. Everything about this place pleased me to the core. And I loved thisplace the way it is!

I have heard about Neelams by local friend and on our way to the golden temple we founded it. The place is really simple and the food was really tasty and amazing. We ordered one kulcha Plate, it was very good, one plain Dosa with honey... Just wonderful... We also had some muesli and curd which was sufficient for two and a cup of masala chai all that for less than 300 rupees. Everything was perfect and yes Service was attentive and decent.

I visited Neelam's during my recent visit to golden temple . I ordered allo porota and my friend ordered veg fried rice. Taste of the food is average . I didn't like the taste of veg fried rice.Abienence is average. It's in busy street near to Temple so don't expect parking facility

We were damn hungry and visited Neelam's for some coffee and snacks. It is located just beside Jallianwala bagh. It is a cramped small place but the food made up for it. The grilled veg sandwich and mixed pakoras were yummy.. spclly the paneer. The coffee was good too. Pricing is cheap. Service was fast. Nice place to eat

I visited Neelam's with some friends for a late dinner. The restaurant itself is a sit down establishment tucked away from the Harimandir Sahib complex. It's completely vegetarian but still has a variety of options. My friends tried the capsicum and onion pizza (which is a little creamy for my liking), the Hakka noodles (very mild in taste), masala dosa (large and filled with aloo), a veg burger (heavy on the mayonnaise/coleslaw), kulcha (cooked perfectly with nicely seasoned chana) and paneer tikka masala, which tasted absolutely delightful. The creamy, buttery, mild tomato sauce made the meal. The prices were reasonable and the service relatively quick. It seems like a very popular place to grab food in the area.

I was in Amritsar after 7 long years! On the last day, my parents decided to pay a visit to the old hotel of which we have always been loyal customers. All that I could recollect as I entered was a small restaurant offering great chinese!!! Trust me the food here is fabbb!! For fried rice, we asked for schezwan sauce and the waiter said they don't have any because they don't use any!! My mom n I were actually shocked because the kind of food they make is awesome and that too without schezwan! That was hard to digest!! The quantity is too much! True value for money. Just bit difficult to find as it is located on the busy market road that connects Jalianwala baug to Golden Temple!

It seems ok to us; taste of dal fry and shahi paneer was ok and nothing special as that of Amritsar! Worth a try if you are in rush; as it very close to golden temple!!!
