This place is really great as they serve great quality. Everything is superlative, I only have two complaints from them - 1.why they do not take payment from "PAYTM" and second, why don't they have enough place for people to sit and eat then and there. Anyway their shop their choice.....

Had an amazing time at this place! I would try Al-Pesto pasta over everything.

Superb in taste, bought Pinni, Motichoor Laddoo and Besan laddoo All three good in taste, sweets brought to Delhi and finished within 2-3 hours. All friends and family members said that I should have brought more quantity, only two kg of each not sufficient

A friend asked me to visit this place and get Pattisha for her so I came to this place and was really surprised to see an average looking place with not so welcoming entry. But sometimes these are just mimics. The sweets that's what this place is famous for was simply too good. Slightly over priced but probably quality comes for a price. Thee panjeeri laddoo or Pinni are also good along with the gulab jamun. Even their namkeens are good.

Good old fashioned sweet shop serving delectable treats. Pinny, Laddoo, Halwa etc etc. All cooked in pure desi ghee which just enhances the taste to a different level. Must try is Motichoor ladoo and moong dal halwa.

Just had the most delightful experience at Bansal Sweets and I couldn't wait to spread the word! From the moment I walked in, the aroma of freshly crafted ghee sweets greeted me, promising a sweet journey ahead. ๐Ÿ›๏ธ๐Ÿญ Every bite was a celebration of flavors, with each sweet exquisitely prepared and bursting with authentic taste. The variety here is mind-boggling, offering a harmonious blend of traditional classic ghee sweets๐Ÿ’ซ๐Ÿก The staff's warm smiles and eagerness to guide me through their offerings made the experience even sweeter. Whether you're satisfying your own cravings or looking for the perfect gift that's sure to win hearts, Bansal is an absolute treasure trove. The hardest part? Choosing just a few favorites from their tantalizing array! ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŒˆ Highly recommend a visit to experience a sugar rush like no other. ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ Hurry in and thank me later for introducing you to this sweet wonderland! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฌ PS : They pack it flight friendly! I carried it home to Kolkata from Amristsar.

Few days ago I tried Kaju katli from Bansal sweets. It was very delicious and nutty. But the sugar was on higher side. Overall must visit shop in Amritsar.

This shop is known for its motichoor ladoo but I did not find it very special, phirni and rasgulla too were average so was patisa but their pinni tastes really good, you must try it for sure!
Abhi
Pinni is worth trying and so is the phirni.... Patisa is ok

Itโ€™s a small shop where you get all sorts of mithai.i had heard a lot about the moong dal ka halwa that they make and well I would say no words can do justice to their moong dal ka halwa! DELICIOUS!!!
Beat moong dal halwa ever!

MRP overcharged for online transaction i.e. 70-150Rs.+GST extra. This is only for bansel sweets Lawrence road . So it's better to buy offline instead of zomato

I have had sweets from this place since my childhood and it's has been my favourite. But recently we bought one box of motichoor laddoo and the season is also cold and unbelievably it got fungus. For the first time ever I have seen fungus on laddoo that too during a cold season. And that box was given as a gift to someone.
Highly disappointed.
Will have to think twice before buying sweets from this place.
I am in love with this sweets shop. There is a huge variety and every item on the menu is freshly made. The motichoor laddoo have my heart, they look so delicious. We tried pinni, gujiya, moong daal barfi and atta laddoo. And tookaway few gift packs. The sweets remain fresh for more than 8 days which is really great. Definitely want to get the motichoor laddoo parceled sometime

Went there to buy pinni as recommended by one & all.. must say they were one of the best I had so far & I have had pinnis from more than 50 cities.. trace of Dhoda style though.. staff is not good..
Harkirat
I love their desi ghee motichoor laddus! I however feel the options are limited on sweets. Lacks a lot of Bengali sweets as well which are common at most sweet shops

Tried their meethi mathhi, specially made for Karva Chauth and it was splendid.

I wish Bansal sweets could renovate their whole set up and make it more interesting, like other outlets have done it.

It's a good sweet shop in Amritsar. Have been here for a lot of times and you get a quality and fresh products here. We use it's products from its delhi branch as well and have always found the products to be fresh

Quite famous, so we thought of getting some sweets on our way back home . We had get four things packed including chaina murgi, patisa, laddu , Chandrakala . Nothing was worth the price we paid for the four boxes . Laddus were way more sweet than should have been. Not so happy with this place in Amritsar.
Priti Shraman
I don't know why people create so much hype for this place, below average in taste. I will never recommend it for you guys. Punjab is famous for their milk and milk products. I tried their Raj blog, chena murgi, patisa, special laddu, pan laddu ,not a single thing were tempted me in that shop.
My whole family is a fan of bansal sweets.
People visiting Amritsar must go there.
My family is so crazy that we always order the wedding sweets from here.
There is taste as well as creativity.

After having some really awesome amritsar we had kept Bansal sweets as the final stop before heading back to Delhi... We reached there with ease thanks to the next to the God Google maps...

Had heard that their patisa is something you just can't go wrong and henceforth we asked some for taste...

Patisa 1/10... Just don't understand how it has been rated so high... Every second mithai shop of Delhi serves better patisa... Rates are over exaggerated with nothing below 500/kg... It's just 1 place where we are definitely not coming again

This place is very popular for its sweets in Amritsar and the moment you taste its "Motichoor ladoo"... you would get most heavenly taste. They dissolve in your mouth and are extremely delicious.

This sweet shop is a simple and small one located on Lawrence road. They have a huge variety of sweets but I love Motichoor ladoo the most.

It's a must try!
Smera Chawla
This is a small sweet shop in Amritsar and has one of the best sweet lassis to offer! Just visit this place for their lassi as it is extremely well made and you don't mind those extra calories! Totally worth it.

Amritsar... also termed as "Sifti da ghar" carries a lot of importance historically as well as religiously. It's an old city that is slowly breaking stereotypes in all facets of life.

But when it comes to food, Amritsar hasn't changed over decades and the foodies pray that it doesn't. The purity, the old days' flavors and Amritsaris' hospitable nature... it's a great experience altogether.

When in Amritsar, ditch the food chains, forget about swanky restaurants. Take the route of the small town, walk to the age old shops and just devour the old world charm.

Bansal sweets is another feather in Amritsar's cap. Their signature preparation is "maanh ki dal ki pinni" and "gud ka halwa".

Pinni is truly heavenly, just put it in your mouth and it melts down with a flavor that's more or less lost in today's culinary scenario. Believe me, the taste is something you don't get anywhere.

Gud ka halwa is a unique dish that's not made anywhere else. Its something that can't be explained. So just have it... and feel the joy.

Verdict - if in Amritsar, sweet dish part of the appetite is reserved for bansal sweets.
Anaya Malik - Savour That Flavour
The pinni , dal one was absolutely divine .... Very rich , extremely tasty made of desi ghee and over buzzing with badam

The besan ladoo is very very famous and the taste is indeed the sole reason !

Must gooo and taste please take kilos of it for your loved ones back home if your a tourist

Dillikabhukkad
A place which is supposedly very famous in Amritsar going by the local recommendations but turned out to be a total failure for me. We ordered the gudd ka halwa, moong dal halwa and gulab jamun. The order itself took 15minutes which the server just had to take the dish out and ladle it to us but still the delay was irritating.

There were a lot of people buying the sweets on offer so i am guessing it must be tasty but the gulab jamuns i had were nothing extraordinary. The moong dal halwa was average and the gudd ka halwa was indeed good but i was not able to develop a taste for it.

A meal for two would cost about rs 200.

Rating for food -3/5
Rating for service-3/5
Rating for ambiance-3/5

Hmmm...yummmm
That's what you say when you relish the Pinni at this place.. not enough..indulge and go crazy..been 2 years but I miss them yetttt..
Will surely be there religiously after golden temple visit for sure

One of the famous shop for Motion Church laddos. If you have a sweet tooth and love laddus do give it a try. They are moderately priced in comparison to other sweet shops. The bog mattari is also good , it was my first time to try it, have it with nice achar.

Took me some time to find this place. Bansals was recommend to me for the very famous phirni. I found the phirni absolutely delicious and fresh. Phirni here is a must try here.
Himanshu Verma
Chocolate barfi and pinni are awesome... Best ever pinni is what this place is famous for.. Still they need to work on their covering up of sweets kept loose and open, hence rating them 0.5 less...Rishu Sachdeva
Bhavya Bhatia
What a variety! They serve many types of sweets and namkeen. The rasmalai was delicious. Also, the pan laddu was out of the world. They have this amazingly coloured namkeen. And you can get a chance to watch how they make the famous khajoors.
Sanjay Gulati Musafir
I wonder why they have not been rated as yet. A place to taste and enjoy good quality sweets. You can also try some Namkeen snacks but primarily it's a place for sweets with conventional taste and quality.
