The food quality and taste are a consistent good standard for this landmark place. Nice service and decent seating makes up an overall good experience! The sizzler is always a great idea and this place somehow manages to make it worth it every single time 👏🏻

It is one of the oldest family restaurant in amritsar. The ambiance is ok, the food is good, and had chicken steak sizzler. It is good, but it is good nicely presented. Overall, the experience is ok.

Astoria is located at ranjit avenue on the main road, best known for its delicious food items Food - they have all the cuisine available in their restaurant. And the taste of all food item is too good.. Sizzlers - if you're a food lover person then don't forget to order shashlik sizzlers with rosemary sauce. That is a very good combination of rice with boneless chicken and French fries with boiled veggies.. Service - service is too good with nice ambience. Parking - convenient parking is also available outside this place..

Good food! I am sure the quality is great aswell. Tried Fish in peri peri sauce. Its different from other places like Nandos etc. Wings were like any other chinese dish . Though very good to taste but not at all like what we get at other places. Burger and quesadilla were okay. Nice ambiance and a decent place for families.

In a city famous for its Kulchas, Lassi and Poori, Astoria stands apart with its diverse cuisine. Right from your standard Paneer Butter Masala to Cheese Steak Sizzler to their Special Canelloni, everything is class apart. Astoria is my go to place for dinners. The taste has been the same since the last 7-8 years and majority of staff is also the same which has allowed the restaurant to keep its authenticity intact. The food amazes me everytime and I keep coming back for more. The restaurant is usually at capacity around 9 pm so I would suggest getting seated by 8 or latest by 8:30. The staff is polite and co-operative. I would recommend the following dishes highly 1. Cheese Steak Sizzler (Ask for extra sauce) 2. Vegetable Lasagne 3. Baked Macaroni and Cheese 4. Spinach Canelloni 5. Special Canelloni

I loved this area for dining. Astoria Food Pavilion provided the best and richest tastes of dishes to me on that day. The problem was that the staff could be improved more.

Astoria Food Pavilion is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of the city. As soon as you step inside this family-run restaurant, you are greeted with warmth and a sense of belonging. This place is a true haven for food enthusiasts, offering a delightful fusion of sizzlers, Indian, Chinese, Continental, and more, ensuring there's something to satisfy every palate. I had the pleasure of trying their renowned Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka, and they were absolutely amazing. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced, leaving me craving for more with every bite. The tender chicken, marinated to perfection, combined with the creamy and aromatic sauces, created a taste sensation that was beyond words. It was evident that the chefs at Astoria Food Pavilion take immense pride in their craft, delivering dishes that exceed expectations.

Had a nice dinner with my younger brother and ordered non-veg continental platter which comprised of chicken breast dipped under barbeque sauce, french fries, white sauce pasta.

To my taste buds, the taste was exceptionally amazing. They prepare the food at live counter which gives quite fresh appeal to delicacy.

One of my favourite resturants in Amritsar. The Wok and European Platter is a must try and Astoria downstairs serves the best sizzler of town.

he good news is, there's bound to be something for everyone. Between the three(?) floors of the restaurant, a couple of kitchens, and a couple of menus, you can choose from an extensive list of options. My table ordered everything from Chinese to Indian to continental--in some cases, stir fry and pasta as part of the same dish. Everything tasted pretty good, even if there was a little too much sauce on most of the dishes.

nice experience

Nice ambience and courteous staff.. Coming to food, I ordered Alfredo pasta and Paneer wok in teriyaki sauce.. Alfredo was too creamy but tasted good.. Too much of Garlic though.. Wok was unfortunately not even close to be enjoyed.. May be i ordered wrong.. Shall try their Griddle on my next visit

Oka has always been a comfort space for me & my family . The restaurant is one of its kind in Amritsar which has a flavour of fine sit down dining. This place never fails to disappoint us. Coming to the food, each & every dish is done so well. The live counters for salads, griddle & woks reflects the quality of food which always is truly to satisfaction & flavour . The must try are the griddles, wok & their Greek salad. Their plated sizzlers, garlic nan is always on my wish list . On the note of staff, they are the most courteous ones , always ready to put down your specifications to the chef & get the best out of each dish. The meal cannot be completed without their peanut ice cream !!

One of the few places that serve good continental food in the city. Their soups and Indian gravies are delicious! In Italian, my favorite items include chicken lasagne, chicken baked.

The food Gods seem to be a lot in my favour lately because I have been having consistently great dining out experiences and I am most happy to express them.
Oka is a small cosy single storied restaurant tucked away in the city. Basic interiors, comfortable sitting and just gorgeous unpretentious food in humungous portions.

Service could be upped and improved because the servers seem party lost and confused. They fail to take instructions into consideration and communicating them to the chef. This was the only element that needed some attention. From here, the food and the binging experience was divine!

They also have a bar menu and a variety of beer which makes it a perfect spot for grabbing good food while sipping on some spirits!
Coming to my epicurean excitement, we
Started off with freshness overloaded Greek salad that was the perfect summer bite redolent with crunch, textures and a beautiful sweet sour balsamic drizzle. The feta atop added splendid creaminess and regality to the vegetables.
We moved on to the several mains we ordered..
The griddles are probably the most decadent and delightful section of the menu because they have a bit of everything! Protein, veges and some fried potato wedges. Now that's the part we all gluttons, unanimously adore.
Grilled fish in chilly garlic sauce was plastered every bit with a rich garlic sauce laced with butter and extremely bold flavours. Certainly the hero of the meal.
Grilled chicken peri peri sauce which was the most anticipated dish was a let down with a bland creamy pink sauce which was trying to imitate a peri peri. Poorly done! The chicken breast was cooked well and pounded to perfection but the poor execution of the sauce drowned the dish.
Next up was Teriyaki Chicken with fried rice. Chunky spiced tender chicken pieces tossed in an intense garlic soy teriyaki glaze. Beautiful to taste.
Chicken Arabiatta pasta was not made in the authentic red sauce but rather in a cheesey pink sauce. Extremely gooey and dense from the white cheese sauce mix, this was indulgence on a platter. My only complaint was that this isn't an Arabiatta! Yum but not what I ordered.
Everything is better with cheese but everything isn't suppose to have cheese, speaking in strict culinary jargon.

Garlic cheese bread was a tad bit tough on texture for me and definitely required some salt!

In the nutshell, it's safe to say that OKA has some brilliant tasting food, an extensive European- American menu and a chef who knows how to brew magic with his sauces.
Prices could seem steep to some but I would certainly visit again for the eclectic food and impeccable flavour!

Cost/ person : Rs 500

Visited this restaurant with my family. Decent Ambience with good quality of food. Price is on the higher side but the service makes for it. Just for the information, it is located on the first floor.

A good place for people craving quality food . Thin crust pizza with hearty toppings and the delicious wholesome pasta .. Oka offers great delicacies which will keep ur taste buds satisfied while your heart drools for more .

There's something available for people of all tastes and preferences. The menu spread is pretty large and the quality is worth the cost. Prices are okayish, ranging between a mid to upscale restaurant. It's generally crowded, but don't need a reservation.

As a tourist, I'd rather save stomach space for the food that the city is known for and skip the renditions of dishes I can find anywhere else I go.

Decent food not anything great. Starters are nice but main course is really disappointing except for Keema Naan which was good.
Good space for small parties in basement and second floor
