We had dinner here. It’s a sweet shoppe cum restaurant. One floor is serving sweet and fast food. And basement is restaurant for lunch and dinner. Had chana masala and missi roti, that was so yumm. Actually we go for chhole kulche but did not find there. And also had masala dosa that was okay. But overall a good experience. Taste and service was good . Quite crowded with family and also see there reservations for tables.

I have tasted Poori with Channa and Dhokla for breakfast. Taste was too good. Ambience is simple and gentle. They do have lot of snacks and ice-cream varieties.

This place is good for family gatherings, kitty parties, and small gup-shups with friends. Its really reasonable in respect to its ambiance. I teally enjoyed the food yesterday. However, i felt that italian cuisines could have been more tasty. Me and my family ate a variety of delicacies and the best was rasmalai while the vegetable dosa was quite of a deal breaker. Overall, its a good and a pocket friendly restaurant. Must try this. I feel that the if few of their Italian and continental improved, this can be in the list of my best restaurants in amritsar.

Nice place to drop by with family if you are looking for some quick grab of chats, sweets, etc. I have shared the menu in my review, so do go ahead and take a look. The variety is plenty and quality is consistent. Service delivery is fast, although if it’s too busy - you can expect some time for order delivery. It’s not too expensive, and that’s the best part! All the good stuff which is delicious and hygienic too. Must recommend this this place to visit. Has dine in and take away options too. But if you prefer enjoying the street food menu outside, there is outdoor seating too.

First of all apologies for not clicking all the pictures of the sweets that I ordered from novelty for gifting to friends and families as the minute I landed the corona thing was doing rounds which was during mid March so i immediately distributed the goodies. Coming back to sweets, so I took along the famous pinni which was so so delicious that I regret for not ordering more. Highly recommended 👍 Cheena murgi is other speciality which is kind of mini chenna balls was also good. Gud ka halwa was loaded with ghee and was not too sweet. Milkcake was good.

Worst experience. Gulab jamuns weren't there when the order arrived. Ice cream had melted by the time the order reached us. Its worth mentioning that we were staying in a hotel which was at a stone's throw distance from Novelty sweets.

I order online on Zomato to buy Gujjian. I always like the sweets from Novelty Sweets but this time when I order online through it was really pathetic. I can’t imagine such a low quality from such a good shop. I’ll never buy online next time from novelty

This is a most reputed sweet shop in Amritsar but over priced as well. Their quality for sweets is good and tastes well too. Their chat chat and gol gappas are amazing. I specifically did not like the quality of poori chana I had for breakfast as I could sense that they served stale salad of previous leftover.

Been here couple of times last week, we ordered chaat, pani poori, suji and atta, rasgulla and phirni, Here is my review, the shop is bit hyped, phirni was very normal, tasted a lot like custard than phirni, rasgulla was ok, sooji puri was fine and atta gol gappa was fine. chaat was ok. Good part is they have sugarfree rasgulla and gulabjamun which my family members like, so good place for people who are health freek Lots of variety of sweets and choclates Their sweets are good, one can try all dry sweets like pinni, laddoo, one of a good renowned name I love their ghee toffee which was not available. Slightly overestimated but worth the money. The sweets are as sweet as others but Gajar ka Halwa is nice. Even the Poori Chhole is pretty decent. If you are passing by, please stop by. Won't harm but you will not regret if you miss it. Service is polite and the place is reasonably clean. Disappointed with the toilets (which were that of the Mall that it is built in) and no efforts have been made to clean them or even repair them. I wish the management paid more attention to it.

Visited Novelty after 6-7 years. Everything has changed about it, but not the taste of the food, which is the best part about it. I had Puri Chole and Gur ka Halwa my favorite from novelty sweets. It was lovely to revive my childhood memories because of the same taste it had before. Amritsar truly rocks in terms of food. No other place can beat this city.

We got pooris and paneer pakodas home delivered. Quite enjoyed the experience. Novelty has been our favourite for poori, pav bhaji and various chat items like raj kachori, papdi, tikki etc. Oh and the badaam doodh. Everything is so great here. Worth every penny spent

I order samosas and cholley with some other sweets. Package arrived ripped... cholley and samosas were already mixed 😏. Delivery person saw it and told me that it is Resturant’s mistake. I requested delivery person to get me fresh ones, he told me that it is going to take long time to report and get second package. So I let it go. But both Zomato and Resturant have to make it easy for customers for these type of issues.

The most lip smacking street food I've ever had .... be it aloo tikki , bhalla papdi or pani puri ..... everything was just wow.. Even though the seating space was limited yet it was jam packed with people. More variety will be appreciated. #An important tip .... the staff has a habit of adding additional items in the Bill so its better to check the bill properly 3-4 times before paying. Otherwise a must must visit place if you wanna have best street food.

This place offers variety of sweets you can binge upon in Amritsar. We recommend trying Puri platter here for breakfast which is served with kache aam ki launji! It's mouth watering and you can also buy mathia and sweets for love ones back home!

Very delicious food and prompt delivery but another thing which I wants to describe that they don't know how to pack the items if you have ordered 4 glass sweet lasso the will send it in two polythene s without glaSses and if you order four rasmalai they will send it in a contIner withouts plates or anything.writing this i m not insulting the novelty but they should know how to send these items to the customer as they may give full out of full marks
