Review Bharawan Da Dhaba - Amritsar

Really good value for the local neighbourhood, had dinner there last night, and went back for breakfast. Staff recommended local Amritsar speciality.. pleased with service and food.

I recently visited Bharawan Da Dhaba for dinner, enticed by its reputation for delectable dishes. The food lived up to expectations, with a diverse menu offering a range of flavors. The pricing, falling between ₹200–400 per person, was reasonable for the quality of the dishes served. However, the cleanliness of the establishment left much to be desired. While the ambiance had the rustic charm of a dhaba, the noticeable presence of flies was off-putting, making it challenging to enjoy the meal fully. The service was acceptable, though not exceptional, earning a rating of 5 out of 5.

The food is tasty. The experience was okay. For the food cost, the cleanliness is less like a city hotel but more like a highest dhaba (but it is a dhaba). Still expected it to be a little cleaner with less flies when trying to eat food. No issues with food at all.

Food was superb n tasty. Ordered Dal Makhni, Paneer Tikka Masala and lacha paranthas. Everything was so tasty. Ambience was too good. But Washroom was not tht clean. They Shud take care of this. Else everything was ok.

Food is very good...just go and have the yellow dal...it's too good..don't know why but kadai paneer is a little sweet here...but food is good...rotis are good...service is top notch...only downside is may be a little too pricy and no non veg options...but no compromise on food quality or service...definitely your go to place

Had gone based on reviews of people and would say was not at all disappointed... Had best food and was worth visiting this Dhaba... Very close to Golden temple, awesome food and customization of food was properly taken care off. Must try their Dal Makhani, Kulchas.

Dhaba located In the lane of restaurants. But this dhaba has managed well to keep the Punjab heritage, culture & food alive in the hearts of the people who visit this place . Food is amazing . Ordered punjabi thali - dal Makhani , panner takatak , chana Masala ,Boondi raita , jeera rice , salad , papad , pickle Nd paranthas . All yum yum 😋. Every dish was perfectly cooked with a blend of spices . After this we ordered biryani ... that was average . I haven’t liked it . In desserts Matka kulfi was delicious . Service was good . Overall a good experience .

Dal makhni was average but paneer ki bhuji and Amritsari naan was really good. Lassi was delicious too. Amritsari kulcha comes with chole …which was recommendable.

This place is also known as Brothers hotel in English.... There are many branches in Amritsar India... You can have here vegitarian food as well as non vegetarian food The place is very famous for its food and taste....and we enjoyed the same . The restroom are available here in case you need it .. the parking lot is present there .. If you are a foody. You must visit this place....

The place stays open until 11 PM at night. Good food in my experience at least. The place was hygienic and the staff was well behaved. The menu serves vast items that can help you quench your hunger for authentic North Indian food. The service is fast and the meal portions are substantial. A family of 4 can enjoy the food under a bill of 1500 bucks. Must go if you are new to the city or would like to start exploring the North Indian punjabi cuisine.

I heard much about this place...so this place was in my bucket list.. before visiting Amritsar I researched a lot which place to visit ,what type of food is famous, good places and all so as per the reviews we visited this place to my surprise I really don't the this place not at all clean.. service is also very slow..they don't maintain proper hygiene..but we were so hungry so we order paneer paratha,aaloo kulcha thali and lassi..taste was awesome..but because of hygiene issue we did order much n didn't visit again..<br/>Service I'll give 5/2<br/>Ambiance 5/2<br/>Hygiene 5/1<br/>Food 5/4

Yet another very famous joint to eat at in Amritsar. Located close to the golden temple, the food at this place is made in pure desi ghee and the aroma is just mind blowing.<br/>After the sumptuous meal, we had the famous kulfi for take away... The packaging and taste was amazing!

The name Bharawan Da Dhaba is enough when you are looking for good food in Amritsar. Being born and raised in Amritsar, I've tried all their outlets but this one has the best ambiance so far.<br/><br/>The tables are chairs are more comfortable and cleaner than other outlets. Though you won't find it to be the cleanest all the time but when it's named as a 'dhaba' there's nothing more you can expect.<br/><br/>Been visiting here since quite long now and recently planned a family dinner here. Wr order alot of items like manchurian, thaalis, daal makhani, butter naan, lachchedar paranthe, chilly paneer, paneer bhurji, paneer butter masala and much more.<br/><br/>Before I come to the food, another thing I like about their ambiance is that they have a wall A-Z where every letter defines something special about us as punjabis.<br/><br/>The food, as one can expect, was really tasty. Daal makhani and butter naan here have been my favorite always. The paneer butter masala as well as the chilly paneer wasn't good. Manchurian was appreciable.<br/><br/>Prices are affordable. Taste is good. Staff is a bit careless. It's too noisy. You've to scream to talk to each other. Especially, if you're visiting here for dinner, you'll find this place to be a big mess.

This dhabha doesnt deserve even 1 star rating. It's just the hype being created by the people "Unchi dukaan, feeki pakwan". Dal Makhni and Butter Paneer Masala was the worst and was not worth paying. no quantity no quality just looting the visitors who visit Amritsar. Will never step in this restaurant again.

Amritsar is known for its various dhabas and inwas really excited to try north Indian food at these dhabas. But to be honest, all the famous dhabas where i had food in Amritsar disappointed me but the one that disappointed me the most was this- Bhrawan Da Dhaba.<br/><br/>After Kesar Da Dhaba, this is the most popular dhaba in Amritsar but to my surprise not a single thing is worth any praise here. This is a pretty big place but the tables are not clean properly. Waiters were not at all attentive and we have to call them multiple times, then they used to come to the table.<br/><br/>All of this was still okay, but the biggest disappointment was the food here. We ordered Dal Makhani, Sarso Ka Saag and Karhai Paneer with Makka ki Roti, Butter Roti, Steamed Rice and Raita. First of all they brought all the three curries instantly after we placed our order. Then we had to wait for like 10 minutes to revieve the breads. The curries had gone cold till then. But still, if a particular dish is good in taste, it won't become absolutely pathetic in taste in 10 minutes. Karhai Paneer was not at all spicy. Infact it was bland. For the first time in my life, i tasted bland kadhai paneer. Sarso ka Saag was also just okayish in taste, it was like andho me kaana raaja. Dal Makhani was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. It was was burnt and had a bitter-sweer taste. If the curries were not bad enough, the breads were all undercooked.<br/>Totally disappointed by the food, we ordered Kheer in desserts. I love kheer but this kheer was a blot on the name of kheer. Finally we left this place, with a determination to never come back here again.

In spite of 3.8 rating, we visited the restaurant. I must say, our experience was really good. We had garlic noodles, dal makhni, aaloo gobhi and tandoori roti. All the preparations were very tasty including noodles (which we didn't expect). Must go place for pure vegetarian and family outing. Prompt service.

A good quick service, polite server and kulcha made a good lunch on a heavy rainy day. They have a wide menu and the taste of the food is good. Chhole could have been better.

Baingan ka bharta is great and same in taste always!!! The flavours are well balanced and 5 star ratings is for the scrumptious preparation.

This is one of the worst dhaba of amritsar.Quiet famous amongst tourists visiting golden temple as it is prime location but the tatse is nothing as compared to the true taste of amritsari food.Being an amritsaria I will never suggest anyone to be at this place.

There are many copycats out there of Brother's Dhaba, so it's difficult to know which one to visit. This new location was located at Ranjit Avenue, the restaurant more upscale than the others.  However, the restaurant still served local Amritsari favorites for a reasonable price.  I had the onion kulcha with their special chana for lunch.  The kulcha was hot and made to order, the bread well spiced and filled with flavor.  The chana wasn't too rich or spicy, though I felt it lacked some flavor.  However, the service is quick and the restaurant was inviting.

Went there for lunch last week, this restaurant just took my heart. From the starters to dessert, they were up to their name. Interior is cool, it just match with the food and name. Really loved the food.

This place is pure bliss for foodies who want to taste yummy, vegetarian Punjabi food! We ordered their ever so famous and highly recommended Dal Makhani along with kadai paneer and laccha parantha. Our first meal after landing in the holy city of Amritsar and what an experience! Food was so delicious and quantity so huge that we regretted not having a huge appetite. Paneer was soft and fresh, Dal Makhani just how it should be creamy and authentic. The sirka onions and home made pickle add to the flavour. The taste still lingers on and I can't wait to go back! This place is my absolute favorite for typical Amritsari food, especially if you are a tourist. The Amritsari Kulcha is a must try. Although it lacks the ambience and is a bit noisy, but consider that a part of the Amritsar experience package.

I ordered 1 special veg thaali, mushroom masala , and rotis. In spite of given instructions for food to be no spicy, food was double spicy... rotis were dry, curd raita was sour.<br/>Total waste of money !

If you are in mood of some good food with the home touch or may be how the food tastes when your mom makes it, this is the place for you. Whenever Im not in a mood to cook and yet feels like eating ‘ghar ka khaana’ , this is the place I head to!! I have been here many a times and not even once was I not satisfied. The food is too light unlike other places in the town. Simply love this place.

Cheap food, fast service and well behaved staff. We ordered a kulcha thali which had 2 stuffed kulcha enough for 2 person the kulcha costed Rs. 175 only which is quite cheap. The taste was great and quantity was filling. The ambience is ok could have been better.

Food was good. The delivery man took half an hour to deliver the food from bharawan da dhaba ranjit Avenue which should not have taken him more than ten minutes. I was calling him but he was busy on some other line. Tracking showed he went somewhere else before delivering my order it seemed thatthe delivery man was not interested in listening to my instructions to my residence the only answer to my query of being late was a simple sorry if a single person is taking more than one order at the same time then the customer should be informed about the same

Bharawan Da Dhaba at Ranjit Avenue is where we dined this day, after the Kanha Sweets lunch and a pre-supper at the Golden Temple langar after doing some sevva there. This place looked relatively new, bright and sprightly, unlike what you picture when you hear the term ‘dhaba’.  We tired quite a range of tandoor dishes here from your standard paneer tikka and paneer malai tikka to stuffed mushrooms and things in between.

It was horrible. The idli was wet. <br/>The sambhar and chutney had no taste. The utppam had no salt and it was tasteless.You should deny to prepare instead of giving such horrible food. Very disappointing

there main branch dhaba is way better in food quality and taste which is in old city town hall. Original taste of bharawan da dhaba dal and parantha is missing in this property.

Special sweet lassi without Malai. Better alternates are available at cheaper price. "The Kulcha land" giving lassi with Malai that too at 5 rupees cheaper price.

Pathetic food quality. This place was so good till last year, but the quality of food now is so bad. Dal was so tasteless, and so was rest of the food. Hope they regain their lost glory.

The cheese pieces (in cheese chilly) were not fried properly and had raw corn flour which left a very powdery taste

Tried this place too . We ordered chhole masala, butter roti and chilli potato.. Desi food was bang on.. loved it but when it came to chilli potato it was not at all up to mark.. the potato we're so soft and taste was so sweet.

The meal consisting - Dal makhini, shahi paneer, kulcha's and phirni was comforting , fulfilling and satiating. My personal favourites would be the kulcha's, dal makhini and the phirni. The food seemed to be cooked with patience, time and care. Throughly enjoyed it and it felt nice on the pallette, not too spicy or too greasy.<br/><br/>However as feedback, we could increase the frequency of mopping the floor which tends to get more dirty considering the foot fall.

Earlier this place was my favorite food and snacks both were too good. But on my last visit I realized that quality has degraded . Not that taste as it used to be earlier and moreover lots of items in menu are not available .

One of the best places to have delicious vegetarian food. Words are not enough to describe their food. Fell in love with their baigan ka bhartha. A must visit for anyone craving for authentic Punjabi vegetarian food.
