Went there in Friday evening, was a hub of people enjoying their drinks and having the fish snacks. Owner is an elderly gentleman and takes great effort to interact with you. Had Sole tandoori which was delicious, and the chutney was a killer. We suspected he has some secret ingredient to keep everyone including us addicted!

We had just the Fried Fish which is really nice and well made. Pricing is a bit high as the fish prices are sky high nowadays especially the Kingfish which they use.

Good place to enjoy your gr8 Amritsari fish. Better than other overhyped places.

So on the last night in Amritsar , we had to have a perfect full punjabi kind of meal with wholesome amount of famous amritsari food for which we had to go to two places, Amar Fish Shop and Mama Meat Shop at Ranjit Avenue.
-Fish Fry (deliciously crunchy and soft on the inside fish with some yogurt made chutney which kind of tasted like india version of tartar sauce , topped with home crushed spices and lemon)
-Kukkad Kebab( melting on the tongue tender chicken kebab with mint chutney served with caramalized onions)
-Bhunna Mutton Bheja and Rumali Roti (i have never tasted so good keema ever in my life , what was missing was just masal pav )
Cost : 330 + 250 + 300
BhukkadMeter : 9/10 ❤️
#BhukLagiHaiYaar .
.
.
.
..
...
#amritsarfoodie #amritsargoldentemple #amritsarfood #amritsardiaries #amritsarbeing #amritsari #mamameatshop #amarfishshop #ranjitavenue #amrritsarfish #amritsarifish #foodlover #bhukkadbybirth #bhukk #bhuklagihaiyaar #bhukkadfam #parthbajaj @parthbajaj @the_taste_of_nagpur @gourmetmusafir @zomato @zomatoin @zomatogold @zomatomumbai @beingamritsari @nagpur_photographers @nagpur_is_awesome @trell.food @trell.community @trell.community @trell.delhi

This is my go to place for Amritsari fish whenever the craving arises. A bit more expensive than the others, but the quality is well worth it. For those trying Amritsari fish for the first time, it is supposed to be a very minimally spiced dish. Unlike the fish pakodas sold elsewhere as ‘Amritsari Fish’. Also remember, while ordering do tell them to leave the pieces large. The smaller pieces tend to dry out and get chewy
