Review Afghani Soya - Amritsar

This restaurant is just opposite to the khalsa public school near sri guru nanak dev university...its pure vegetarian restaurant, indian food and champ like afgani champ, malayi champ etc is the main attraction here and taste is also very good but sometimes they provide eatables cold which doesn't look fresh but the price is very attractive... restaurant is small but enough space is available to sit.. overall food quality is good and price is also attractive..

I remember the first time i visited this place was in march 2019, when my friend from mumbai praised the champs he tried nd I ordered gravy momos , mistaking them with malai momos nd i hate it , after that year after year i tried all the momos nd i happen to be the fan of malai momos of afgani soya, gosh they’re the best, perfect consistency nd perfectly steam cooked , achari champ , afgani champs with rumali roti , the yellow dal nd jeera rice in dinner 🥘 were good too, but the malai momos are the best for me✨

After trying almost every other restraunt in the town, I was looking for some desi street food and found this outlet. This place is basically a cleaner side of a dhaba. They have snacks and fine dine.

We were two people and ordered roasted chaamp, two lemon soda (one sweet and one salty) and a plate of manchurian (dry). Well to begin with, the staff here is indeed helpful. The place is kinda clean. Tables are clean. But even after paying 70 bucks for chaamp, I didn't get the creamy chaamp I was expecting. You've to pay extra if you want chaamp to be coated in cream and butter. This is for the first time I have seen someone selling chaamp like that. It didn't taste good without cream and lacked spices.

Manchurian was also just okayish. It really didn't satisfy our hunger. The lemon soda (salty) was excessively salty. Taking it along, spoilt the food taste too. Overall, it was just an average experience.

We have ordered Afghani soya champ, paneer Tikka and Malai soya champ. It was good in taste. Bt packing is not good as the liquid or oil gets out of that. If we ignore the packing thing, then taste is good. It is reasonable.
Afghani chaap is good but paneer Tikka is not like paneer Tikka. It doesn't taste good and moreover they had added colors to it

I order the food online. Food was just ok with tawa chaap has more salt then u can imagine. Just waste of money. Naan was ok and paneer butter masala was better.
The Pioneers! The ones who started it all! The holy grail of soya snacks! These guys serve the Tastiest Soya Chaaps and Tikkas in town. Affordable prices. Can't ask for more. Everything tastes good especially their Tawa Chaap Masala, that sh*t is sublime. 5/5

Amazing Food.. If anyone would have told me that you can find yummy food in this small place, I wouldn't have believed him but this place serves the best paneer tikka in the world. Their veg chaap in chicken flavour masala is also must try..

Very tasty Indian food. Feels like nonveg. Must visit for vegetarians like me who love good taste of high quality spices and ingredients. Must visit
Soya fish(veg) and tawa chaap are worth travelling to the joint.
